My experience with Main Sequence and the PCRecruiter product has been fantastic. The response time to questions and the consistency that you get from each and everyone you deal with on their team is stellar. Everyone is knowledgeable and approachable.
I made updates on my website recently and was happy at how quickly Andrew was able to implement them. With other services I have seen this type of request submitted, processed and then you wait. This like any other request at Main Sequence was dealt with in a personal, professional manner and quickly.
Cons
None. I cannot find one reason why someone should not take a look at this product for their business.
Overall
I would recommend PCRecruiter because of the ease of use, the quality of support and how relevant it is to running a staffing business.

Pros
Customer service, set-up and training at Main Sequence made this an easy transition to Web Extensions for job posting with a big upside in time saving and exposure for important job posts.
We started using Web Extensions with PCR about 2 months ago and find it a great way to get job posts out on the web and make immediate changes to posts via our website. From the integration with PCR we can post to Indeed and Simply Hired as well as MRI Network with ease. Ladders and others are to follow.
Future updates to Web Extensions will allow you to change the fields on the posts to your website. When that happens Web Extensions will then meet our needs at a 5 star level.
Best of all, the posts look really great.

Web Extensions is a feature of PCR that I really like and would recommend to anyone who wants to save time placing job posts on the web.

Great support both by phone and by computer(service tickets), never hard to reach
Open to suggestions, new features keep coming
Great user community that shares ideas
Intergrates with PTWeb to keep useful metrics
Unlimited ability to customize at the user level and the database level
Cons
Can't send bulk email campaigns effectively
Can't search across multiple databases
Overall
PCR is a must for any recruiting office. It has many features and functions that help us run our business effectively. The key is to use the tools, not just use it as an electronic rolodex.

Pros
The folks at Main Sequence have built a winner with PCRecruiter. PCR is a full-featured, robust product that is stable, upgradeable and very easy to manage, whether your a small, medium or large business.

If you're looking to own a recruiting firm and you want to make money at it, PCR is a must-have product that will be instrumental in your success.

I have been a user of PCR since 1994.
I have been in the Recruitment Industry for almost thirty years and have had much exposure to the different products. At one time I even had a custom database written for our needs. However, PCR offered and offers a very comprehensive, extensive and exemplary product. There is virtually nothing that I would add. The ability to utilize mass email communication and integrate with our website has increased our revenue tremendously. One of the best features is the customer support. Issues are resolved almost immediately and the staff of Main Sequence is always readily available to address any issues we have. Main Sequence's Webmaster, Andrew Rothman has been a saviour to our company. There is no competition when you are the best!

I can't think of any.
Overall
I can't think of any other database program I would want. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11+.

Pros
E-mail client, Web extensions, true applicant tracking, increased security, customer service and customization of practically all fields.
Cons
Calendar function is a bit remedial compared to outlook

Main Sequence Technologies is an excellent company to deal with and PCRecruiter software can be a value add to any business focused on improving their applicant tracking ability. The software is back up by an excellent support from training to tech support and development. The teams seem to work well together and response quickly when you have and technical issue, need training or have a feature request.

Pros
Great product, has almost every feature you could need. Integrates well with internal metrics software after setup. Can be customized to almost any need. Main Sequence is always making improvements in PCRecruiter. Tech support has always done a terrific job for me.
Cons
Doesn't interface with Exchange Server. Training programs could better.
Overall
I wouldn't use any other contact management software.

Pros
We have used PCR since 1999 and have never exceeded its capacity to deliver what we need as a search firm. The web-based version allows tremendous flexibility for our team. Flexibility drives down to the individual user allowing them to customize the database specific to their practice.
Cons
No disatisfaction with the product at all.
Overall
I have and will continue to recommend this product to other search firms. Product and support are exceptional.

Pros
Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks inside the application. For example, I can screen assign a status, route to hiring managers and email a message to candidates with just afew key strokes.
Cons
Allows a candidate to apply without selecting a specific opening. There is a work-around, but there is the potential of missing a few candidates unless you create the work-around and check it consistently.
Overall
This is a Cadilac at a Chevy price. Reports have gotten better, support is available when you need it and overall customer service is excellent.
