Comments: After looking at multiple systems for our new recruiting firm, we selected Crelate and after almost one full year of use, we have been very satisfied with our purchase.

The best part of it was how easy it was to get started. Within hours of install, we were fully operating our business.

The after the sale support from them has also been excellent.

Comments: Customer service/support is incredible. Very responsive. The platform is solid as a rock. Easy to use, manage and update. The usability is fantastic. Training others to get up to speed takes little time. Searching, keeping track of data and information? Better than anything I have used in my 17 years of Executive Search.

Comments: Generally pleased with Crelate, customer service is excellent. Product is sophisticated and can appear complex. We are a two person operation and therefore do not use many of the features which would be of benefit to a larger office envionment. We are still a bit 'dogged' with client duplications and loss of client phone numbers from the migration. System has been 95%+reliable

Comments: Crelate is highly intuitive. It has all of the features I wanted, and more. It has saved me tons of time, in comparison to my last ATS. The new features they are adding are great. Customer support has been excellent and the Help area in the ATS generally answers most of my questions. If not, they are quick to reply. I highly recommend this system!

Comments: Crelate has been my CRM for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. I looked at many packages before I chose Crelate and found it to be packed with features at a great value. I particularly like how I can manage and track all of my projects on one page, with a snapshot of the progress of every candidate. I also am excited about the periodic updates to the software. They listen to their users and offer upgrades for free. I've already recommended it to one colleague and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Pros: It's an outstanding project management tool. I can track all my open projects on one page, and track every candidate through the recruiting process. Crelate is an incredible value, given that free updates are released periodically and I always feel I have current features.

Cons: Tough to say. The migration from my old database wasn't easy, but I found technical support to be outstanding.

Recommendations to other buyers: Feel free to compare it to some of the big name packages... you'll find Crelate to be cost effective, easily customized to your needs and a great way to manage your recruiting projects.

Comments: After struggling through multiple systems over 10 years, I came across Crelate. I made the decision to migrate to Crelate after about a week of test driving. Wish I would have had it years ago. Great system and love the versatility, ease of use and great customer support.

Comments: My company did its first ATS implementation 4 months ago and there is no looking back. We were instantly more organized and efficient.

Pros: Ease of use

Cons: lack of interface with Mac Mail and Mac Outlook.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would like to remain in a single application to better manage the day's email and ATS vs. having multiple windows open. Work pace is too quick to be slowed down with bouncing back and forth between applications.

Comments: Using Crelate for 18 months - Simple/powerful ATS and constantly getting better.
- I have used a number of ATS's over the last 20 yrs. Crelate listens and consistently improves the product. - Has the fewest clicks of most any program - easy to train staff on and has all the bells and whistle a good recruiter needs to be successful.

Pros: easy of use , speed, customizable

Cons: Nothing they are addressing the few short coming such as adding texting from the program

Comments: Have been in recruiting for 16+ years (have worked in a boutique firm and a top Ten global firm) and have used all sorts of candidate/client management systems. In my estimation this is the easiest and the most user-friendliest to navigate. The interface (and your ability to customize it) is awesome!! A little more expensive than some--but well worth it in terms of efficiency.

Pros: easy to navigate

Cons: not the cheapest in the market, yet for a few cents a day it is worth it!

Recommendations to other buyers: Take the test--these guys are really customer-service oriented and will do most anything to keep a customer happy.

Comments: I switched over my database services to Crelate almost a year ago. The conversion from my old provider to them was seamless ! As with any new software, it takes some patience to learn it and their training /support staff are excellent. I especially like their visual graphic screens that shows ALL MY search assignments as well as broken down individually with each candidate in the various stages of the recruiting processes displayed....VERY COOL This database is easy to navigate and is user friendly. Lots of features for all types of demands including posting multiple ads easily thru their system. Other features include customized tracking of metrics with graphs, charts, and spreadsheets. Also, easy to import and populate candidates profiles from LinkedIn! This was the only CRM /ATS that I researched, compared, and found to give me the most efficient database at such a COST EFFECTIVE PRICE ! My only con is with the candidates labeling/info for the " users defined fields" that aren't changeable now, which should be customized and changeable ... hopefully this will be implemented soon. I do trust their staff is dedicated in refining their product and services to keep up with the market demands and technology advancements. Overall, I highly recommend them.

Comments: I've been through 5 different systems over the last 12 years, some of which I gave a short test run and others our whole team moved over to. I have never been quite satisfied with any of the systems I've used, including our current. I started speaking with Mark a few months ago and he and his team have allowed me to "trial" the system for awhile. After about one week I began to realize how different the system and the team behind the system were. The decision to permanently move my team over to Crelate has been made very easy. Not only is the look, feel, and structure much better than our past experiences, but the staff and technical support has been amazing. Quick response, detail-oriented, outstanding support throughout the process. Also, the data migration process has been unlike any other I've gone through. It is structured so that the final migration is exactly what we expect, not a bunch of surprises. KUDOS TO THE CRELATE TEAM FOR DEVELOPING AN AWESOME PRODUCT AND DELIVERING TOP NOTCH SERVICE. So happy to be on board with you!!!!

What do you like best?
beautiful design, clean, simple CRM interface. lots of customization available for the admin (like enabling custom workflow stages and names of stages that we define we can change ourselves). amazing Crelate team: dev team & customer service team are super responsive to questions, requests for help and product features, and training on demand. the product has so far managed not to get too 'heavy' like most recruiting tools eventually tend to to when trying to be all things to all people. Crelate works best in my opinion for boutique external firm (vendors) who need to be able to easily customize things, and not for internal (corporate).

What do you dislike?
the product is still young so it's obviously a work in progress. this is not a criticism; we signed up post-beta knowing there would be iteration but well worth the trade off because we have influence as the product matures. we love having this opportunity. search tools and results, (ranking, relevance) need to be better and this is also a work in progress. all of the things that could be better are things the team is aware of and are addressing with each new release. weekly office hour for all users with a customer service rep would be awesome (via joinme or zoom or whatever tool). the current solution is a candidate relationship management solution, but there is not yet a great client relationship management feature or a workflow that supports business development / prospecting/ sales process but i would love that some day.

if you are a recruiting firm looking for a solution, i highly recommend crelate. we love this solution!

we are executive recruiters. so we solve one-of-a-kind talent searches for our clients. every search we do is custom designed within Crelate : our Crelate enables us identify people that we already know of (through search, or through affiliation with another project, etc) , and helps us easily import data on new candidates into one new project . We can see what conversations we've had with candidates in the past and outcomes of those. we can move candidates through the workflow and activities of a search project logically, using our unique labels & language.

Comments: The folks at Crelate are really committed to creating a superior product. The user interface is visually appealing and super intuitive. There's just enough customization available to make it fit our business perfectly, without being overly complicated. They are constantly working to add valuable new functionality and customer support is top notch. There a few minor functions it doesn't do that we'd like, but they are eager to take our feedback and add it to their development plans. Really great product, great company. The price is affordable and a great value compared to their competition.

Comments: I have been in the staffing industry for over 16 years, and have used everything from desktop based proprietary systems to numerous CRM based and other web based/SaaS based ATS's. I started my own firm over a year ago, and demoed 7 different products including Crelate. Until the demo with Marc, I had never heard of it before. Crelate blew away everything else I tried. Marc, Aaron, Jamie and the team are top notch. They are responsive, and love getting ideas from my company on improving the product. The user interface is as user friendly as you can get, it provides every piece of functionality a company could need, the iPad and iPhone apps are great and have found myself using them on numerous occasions, the site has never been down nor had an issue, contacts are updated in real time with my team, resume submittals, reports, customization, advertising partnerships, custom job board, tracking candidate progressions...all in all, everything you need an ATS to do, it does, but in a user friendly, web based setting.

I've recommended Crelate to a number of people I know in the industry, even people looking for a CRM. As my company grows, Crelate will be our partner and will grow with us. I'm excited to have them as a value added resource and wouldn't want any other system in house.

Comments: First of all let me state that I am a solo recruiter. As a 10 year Maxhire user, I was devastated by their acquisition. I spent about a year searching for a new ATS, but more importantly, an ownership group that treated me like I was their most important customer. That is what I found in the guys at Crelate. The Co-founder and head of development comes from a CRM background with one of the big boys. I came on board during their beta phase and when I had a question I would usually get a call from one of the owners. When I make a feature request, it is often implemented within 30 days.

I moved from a .net application (Maxhire) to a web based product (Crelate) and the transition was very easy. The User Interface is very intuitive and the functionality is very robust and becoming more so every month. I could not be happier!

Comments: We have been using Crelate for 4 months now and love it! We had been using a competitor and I can say without a doubt this is a far superior product. Add in the great customer service and the product updates and it could not get any better. The Crelate team was able to come in and help us identify what we needed and shaped the product so that it would work for our company. Comments: I have really liked Crelate since I switched, especially how easy it is to input information to the system. The interface is good, and it's easy to navigate around. It is not as easy to extricate information from the system as it is to input it (i.e. generate reports). I think they are working on that. Crelate is a great value, and its nice to be able to access it from any internet site or mobile device. I could not do that with my previous system. Also, the availability and responsiveness of the customer service team is really strong.

Comments: We were early adopters of Crelate and have watch it morph into a really incredible, highly versatile and intuitive product. We appreciate the flexibility to pick and chose the features that are relevant to our business and workflow. We are a small firm and have worked with some of the bigger players in applicant tracking in the past and were always completely unsatisfied with the level of customer service. Crelate is the total opposite; we've found them patient and willing to listen to our suggestions (and make adjustments based on them).
