Pros
Well - it has so many...
1. Real time monitoring - best in the market. real-time view of active transaction. exact amount of resources (CPU & IO/sec).
2. Great analytics capabilities. ability to compare performance and pin-point difference in SQLs that changed their behavior.
3. Ability not only to see but to react - control the amount of CPU and IO per transaction in real-time and control the QoS & SLA of the database users. Very granular... based on User, Osuser, program SQL text and many more
Cons
Well - couldn't find any... a great mix of all other DB tools out there with unique features such as the VRP - managing resources and the Variance module.
Overall
I strongly recommend this solution. No More performance problems... real ability to control and stabilize performance with a click of a mouse.
