How to Submit an Article 
Thanks for your interest in submitting an article to Capterra's Expert Advice Library. Your expertise is valuable for software buyers and we are happy that you want to share it! Below, you will find the editorial guidelines for your article, as well as information about how to submit it.
Editorial Guidelines
In order to be considered for publication on Capterra.com, your article:
- Must be original, written by you.
- Must be between 500 - 1,500 words.
- Must include your full name and the organization with which you are affiliated.
- Must be buyer-focused and informative. Use this opportunity to share your expertise.
- Must follow English language spelling, grammar and punctuation standards.
- Must include a title with standard title case.
- May include up to 3 links to one self-serving and two non self-serving websites. Include the link name in the copy with the website URL in parenthesis. Recognize that if you choose to use a "mailto" link, spammers will take advantage.
- Must not include HTML code. We will add the code for your website links.
- Must not be a press release or promotional copy.
- Must not include offensive, profane or hate-oriented material.
- Must not contain images or graphics.
Submission Instructions
- Your article must be submitted in Microsoft Word. Please proofread your article before submitting it.
- Include a 50 word summary of your article.
- Submit the following information for your profile page: a picture (optional), a short bio, contact information (email, phone, website), social networking links (optional).
- Email the article as an attachment to marketing@capterra.com with the following subject line: Capterra Article Submission: Title of Article.
Terms of Service
- Submission of an article to Capterra is a declaration that you are the original author and own all copyrights relating to it.
- Submission of an article to Capterra gives us unconditional permission to publish it on Capterra.com and Capterra partner sites.
- Capterra does not pay for articles.
- It is Capterra's decision as to whether or not to publish your article and Capterra's right to determine the duration of publication.
- If your article does not comply with our stated Editorial Guidelines, Capterra may make edits.
