Pros

Very easy to use. Very great technical support. And the software evolve greatly. One of my best souvenirs: I had an issue on 01/01/2008 (I believe) and asked a technical question. I received an answer the same day.
Most of all, what I like is the 100% internet environment.

Cons

I don't have too much negative points to report ecept:
- I would like to be able to manage simultaneously unit, as a member of a HOA (HOA management) and rental unit (the same unit being rented). I cannot

Overall

Extremely positive. I always recommend Buildium...and hope it will not be too much used by competitors

Pros

- Low entry price that grows with the business.
- Outstanding, responsive customer support.
- 100% web-based software, so no installation, upgrades, etc.
- Excellent customer-facing portal.
- Clear, easy-to-produce financial and HOA reports.
- Thorough, flexible exporting of all data in the system, so that one does not feel "locked in." This was a key differentiator for me.

Cons

- Still a work in progress. Would love to see further automation of routine or recurring tasks (i.e., monthly HOA statements).
- Does not easily accommodate renters of individual units in a HOA.
- HOA directory not yet integrated with Google Contacts or other outside contact management services.

Overall

I highly recommend this product. They've built a functional, flexible, and feature-rich product, and are continuing to add to it. It is still a little clunky in some areas, but overall I think it's better than most alternatives.
