Given that we have never purchased appliances before, there are so many choices, they’re expensive and we will use them so much; we are doing quite a bit of research – more than I ever would have imagined. It’s been a long time in the making, but it’s finally here—Capterra’s blog! Capterra is a place people go to find software for their business. We don’t actually sell the software; we help people find the best options for their needs. The company has been around for 10 years and 4-million people used Capterra in 2009 to find software—which basically means we have a lot of experience.
This blog is our way of sharing what we’ve learned about finding, buying and using business software. We’ll tell stories about how companies made their choice, what they learned along the way and what they wish they’d done differently. We’ll also explore every aspect of the purchasing process, why it shouldn’t be taken lightly, and how we can make it easier. We’ll look at what types of software people are using and how it’s helping them achieve their goals.
Software helps businesses and organizations save time and money and, more importantly, accomplish their missions. The search for the right solution can take weeks or, in many cases, months. It’s an important decision and knowledge is power.
