Pros
We went from a non-server Filemaker Pro that kept all of our childcare information, payments and other program registrations on it and had decided that we needed to have something that would be able to grow as our programs grew. The two main reasons that we decided to go with Affinety was their philosophy of developing something that would really work for the Community Education programs and the ability to have the credit card usage ability. Getting things changed from Filemaker to Affinety went smoothly, but it was a lot of data entry setup which was expected. We use Affinety for all of our registrations throughout the district. We have put our school store on-line, use it to sell tickets for the school plays, ECFE, Preschool and all of the adult and youth activities that Community Ed sponsors.
Cons
As always we would love to have enhancements made to the system faster, but Affinety has a process that really seems fair for what priority enhancements are made to the system.
Overall
Affinety has definitely made our registration processing and childcare billing much easier to use. Our customers really do enjoy the option to be able to do for themselves for registrations and payments on childcare and preschool accounts.
