Pros

Has been a wonderful tool that has enabled our agency to meet the needs and qualifications of the California Department of Education reporting requirements. There is technical support available when needed, and the program is very affordable.

Cons

There are no cons, as this is a very needed program for our funding requirements.

Overall

Continue the use of an email to notify customers of updates.

Pros

The development of this program is very challenging since it needs to meet specific requirements mandated by the State Department of Education. Additionally, features often need to be revised per changing State guidelines. Customer support is excellent and revisions are timely. The program saves an enormous amount of time - reports are generated on the computer which previously had to be done manually. Sign-in sheets and mailing labels make what was previously hours of work done more expeditiously.

Cons

At times, the program can be quirky. A report will just randomly drop a record that has been previously recorded. Information has to be re inputted. Attention to detail is required to make sure the information sent to the State is accurate. As it is not a Windows-based program, it takes some time to get used to inputting/saving information on the screens.

Overall

Overall, I would rate this program highly. Given the complexities and on-going revisions of State guidelines for attendance and fiscal reports, it is a challenging program to maintain. Customer support needs to be readily available and it is. A Windows-based program would be more user friendly but once you get used to the program parameters, it works quite well for our needs.

Pros

All the reports needed are right there. Forms needed from sign in sheets to filing reports to the state there

Cons

The only thing that I see as a drawback is that it is owned and operated by one person what happens when he is gone thats my only concern.

Overall

I would recommend this product to any agencies in the Child Development Division with the state
