-Very confined and fully customizable to your needs.
-Amount of knowledge in the software and what you can do within the program.
-Once you are fully trained on the program, the ease of operation is very valuable

Meaningful Use took some time to learn and we should have allowed more time to train.
Overall
State of the art and very well put together. Has everything you will ever need in an EHR. There is very little the software program will not do for you.

The basic software package is a great place to begin learning the fundamentals of a complete EHR system. I first heard of eConnect through the American Chiropractic Association's publication (ACA News) and was interested in the free basic functionality because I have just started a practice with limited funding. I was immediately impressed with the ease of use, and the online help documents and videos answered almost all of my questions. I am a recent graduate who still was using paper records during my education, and it was very important to be able to learn the software without an initial financial obligation. After some time using and learning eConnect, I have decided to add functionality through extra affordable applications which will improve my practice's operational efficiency. It is nice to be able to produce such detailed information in a "point and click" environment, with the ability to personalize the information via freeform in the comments sections.
Cons
New practitioners may have to spend extra time learning the system. The body diagram in the free software can be difficult to learn in order to create descriptive images.
Overall
I highly recommend eConnect as a starting point for those searching for a complete EHR system. You can learn the free basic structural program at your own pace and the support system is fantastic. I have had no problems with the software and look forward to implementing it into my practice.

???Once you get used to the system, it is very fast. It is very quick!
???Can do multiple items from one screen. I do not have to go to multiple screens that my colleagues have to go through with other software programs.

Training and support when I attested for meaningful use was 1st rate. ($18,000.00 direct deposited to my account last week) Plus all the new functionality this year. But what I really like is how easy it is to learn and use. My office manager (wife) really like the billing now.
The new Macro App was a game changer for me.
I have to say this piece of software is really turning into something! Keep up the good work!!

Live training can be redundant at times and the live trainers will repeat themselves often.
Overall
A very good investment for my office. Before Future Health, I worried about my records and that I was missing portions to add to my notes. I was getting yelled at for a few years for my documentation and since I started with Future Health, I do not have to worry any more. I see a lot of Medicare patients and Medicare is continually going after Chiropractors so it was a necessary decision to go EHR. Since I started using Future Health, I have never had to worry about my records and know they are audit proof.

Great all encompasing system. Highly recommend to all who are looking for a system that will handle all of your clinics needs.
Cons
In the last quarter of 2011 it was hard to get someone from customer service in a timely manner. I assume this was due to the fact that Future Health was in such demand at the last quarter of 2011. Since they have hired more staff and that problem and now we can easily get any questions we have answered right away.
Overall
I am a practicing Chiropractor, national speaker and author for the Chiropractic industry. I have looked at, and been asked to endorse several applications. In my clinic there is only one system that I will have. That is Future Health

I like the concept of their cloud environment and the cost savings that affords in lack of hardware. It was inexpensive but in the end i think you get what you pay for. I bought it after reviewing the VOS program and was told that it was the exact same but functioned in a cloud environment and not on an in office server. Was that ever so wrong.
Cons
The cloud didnt seem to work all that well, as it often lost connectivity. But to be honest I never gave the connectivity a real shot as we didnt use it very long. The biggest problem i found was that the documentation part was more than lacking in fact it was embarrassing. The whole program seemed to be a shell of what the VOS program was. Someone in a prior review said clumsy and that is probably at best. The documentation part is simply unfinished. It was so bad in fact that i asked for my money back after about a month of trying to work with it. I of course was denied this and at this point realized that i was sold a bill of goods. Also the customer support maddening as their simply was none.
Overall
I think it is relatively obvious that FutureHealth sold a product before it was ready to be released. I think they got in over their heads and tried to get people on board before their product was ready. Perhaps in hopes that by the time we realized what happened that they would get it up to speed. But no, it is simply a piece of junk that is fairly slickly marketed. Look elsewhere!

The program is very easy to use, there is little cost to hardware (I have a couple of touchscreens in each of my adjusting rooms) and I can access the software from my home (major plus). eConnect software is the second EMR I have owned. Before I closed my first office, I had spent over $10 K for an EMR program that I maintained on my hardware at the office. The cost of eConnect and the low cost of hardware is a huge plus. Buying a server for my first practice was expensive and I found it a nightmare to maintain. Having eConnect for my clinic has made a huge improvement for my practice and eliminates many of the problems I had at my first clinic.
Speed of documentation is also a huge plus as well. I can do my wellness notes within seconds. I have yet to see a program that is as easy to use.
Cons
The majority of my cons are nearly all resolved since when I first purchased eConnect. The program and company had issues with slowness last Spring and I had a hard time getting a hold of support. I think a lot of this had to do with the company's growth.
As of today, the software is fast and I get return phone calls within a day's time by support. The cons I have now is that there are a couple of apps not released that I need, but econnect has been consistently releasing new features in a short period of time.
Overall
If I were to write this recommendation a year ago, my Cons would far outweighed the Pros. Having the program and seeing the program develop over the past year, I am very impressed with what eConnect has delivered considering econnect is not even two years old. I have spoke with their CEO Dr. Kraus and I am impressed with how much passion there is for where they want to take the program.
Overall, the program is very easy-to-use, most of the kinks have been taken out, and support has dramatically improved. Especially seeing where the program was a year ago compared to now. Training is also good and helpful.

Compliance with current EHR standards for CMS.
Cons
Lack of customer service, software shuts down on its own, software is so slow that the doctor can adjust a patient and the screen will still not have moved to a different screen. You will put in a call to customer service and will never have it answered or called back. Emails refer you to YouTube training videos instead of one on one contact that was a "selling pitch".
Overall
We purchased this software to replace our current software and thank goodness we didn't get rid of our current software. This software lacks the ability to run an office smoothly. What seemed like such a great software on the sales pitch has now turned into a huge waste of money and time. Do not buy this software.

Unable to generate a paper HCFA form from the billing portion of the software. Tried every conceivable option, including a new printer Future Health recommended, but nothing worked. After 3 weeks of use, with no success, they denied my refund request and am now going through the dispute process with my credit card company. If this saves one other person from going through the nightmare I've experienced, it will be worth it.
Overall
I can't recommend a product that doesn't provide a workable billing solution as part of its package. If notes are the only part needed, it would work. If an entire package is needed, try Compulink.

It did not take me several months to get up and running. It was fairly intuitive with a very short learning curve for me. The software does not get in the way of my running my practice in the slightest bit and enables me to concentrate on the important things, like my patients. Also, it is already EHR certified.
Cons
Not many apps out yet, but it is being addressed as the software develops further.
Overall
I really like the software. It was easy to learn, is easy to use, and the development team is working hard to improve the software continually. Customer support is excellent.

New Idea: Someone once said to me, "As soon as you've succeeded, then I'll listen to what you have to say... until then you would be better served to listen to me and following my example as I've already done it." "So don't make waves or try to re-invent the wheel." After hearing those exact words from someone whom I had considered to me my mentor; I walked away and never looked back and in doing so I shut down mentally and artistically regarding myself to be inferior and less than capable of forming a useful thought or new idea for this beautiful healing profession. I have a small reservation still from opening up and adding anything such as an intovative idea for a wonderful product designed to uplift the profession of chiropractic. And God knows we need uplifted across the nation not only in Chiropractic but in Health Care in general. What ever happened to the idea of "patient care" and "1st do no harm" , etc. /// (con't below)

(con't from above); Can this company eConnect be a strong pillar to assist the chiropractic profession as a whole across the nation ? I think yes it can. And if you approach the marketing even more aggressivily at first the long range unification effects could become monumental and trend setting. Say, for example, we all formed a CO-OP and as a memeber we had access to 1,000's and multiple 1,000's of chiropractors across this nation who could easly standarize quality patient care thru the eConnect approach. If I were to receive a referral or a previous treatment plan sent to my office from a doctor's office utilizing eConnect software I would have to set down and collect my composure because of the difference between professional quality progress notes and treatemnt care plans and protocols and the usual "chicken scratches" and "off-the-wall short hand scribbles" that usually arrive after a request for past treatment records. Overall
I know I'm preaching to the choir in this response; however, that being said... consider the idea of forming a CO-OP of sorts and in doing so perhaps more software can be affordable to the 12 doctor / 1 office manager size clinics across the nation. The eConnect is better than straight dictation in my opinion due to the fact the doctor actually sees the information personally before it is processed into the patient's progress note. The Asthetics of the software, ease of use, the fact that everything is accessable through the main screen and you can toggle back and forth without opening multiple windows. Large icons make touch screen applications very easy within the adjusting rooms. Since its cloud based, finishing up on notes at home is just as fast as doing them in the office. With non-cloud based software, I would have to use remote desktop connection and then the slowness made me not able to work from home efficiently. teh Scheduler is easy to move appointments around and customize as needed.
Cons
Some small bug issues that shut the software down occasionally. Missing some functionality of CVOS like a 'sent to billing' column in the dx/tx report.
Overall
Highly reccomended as a high volume clinic, scheduling, documentation, and billing are a breeze so I can focus on patient care and not spending all my time with documentation. Works great for my clinic and we have been running smoothly.

Purchased the product on lies and high pressure. Company refused to refund money after 10 days when staff found out the program didn't work as promised. Could'nt review the paid for portion of the program until purchased.

Terrible support, wait 2 days to hear back. Lousy implementation. Diffcult to use scheduler. Understaffed. 10 people for 3000 practices. Was told that by VP of Sales that "we are growing exponentially, so things..." are allowed to go wrong. No reply for 15 days for emailed information. Waited +48 hours for support to call us back..

Asked for a refund,, and received an answer 15 days later. "We don't give refunds". I stated even though I received no support for over 48 hours and was told here's your ticket number and we will call you back in the order we received your call. Received the" no refunds" dialoque 15 days after numerous emails and certifed letter sent. VP of Salesstates Brenda recevies emails, she was in an ATV accident so if a person is out we're down that person. SO that's why you didn't receive an answer. Lousy customer service

Customer Service is great, price point is fantastic, and the program does what my clinic needs. I have always found EHR software hard to use, but with about a month of practice with econnect we were up and running. We use the scheduler, health record, notes and billing and all work well together. I saw a couple of reviews that said the program is not complete or ready but perhaps that was in the past. I am pleased with the purchase and look forward to more upgrades in the future.
Cons
Not certified YET. but have been told that will happen in July. Would like to see more scheduler functionality. The software is "cloud software" so I had to upgrade my internet speed which was more expensive but it runs really fast now.
Overall
I would not hesitate to purchase this program for a practice like mine that see's 125 to 150 patients per week. I don't think there is any really perfect software for D.C.'s but this is really close for me.

It does alot of stuff and keeps the office almost paperless. I like that it runs on "The Cloud." I will stick with this program more because I have not other choice. I put to much money in so far.

I just started my office from scratch and was looking for a good softwar program.I have read all the complaints and even 9 months later they are all still valid. I get dropped from the program constantly. The software is not complete and as such they do "Upgrades" that never work and shut down my office for at least half a day everytime, and then other parts of the software stop working. I always get the answering machine when I call for help and it has been two days since I last called for help with no response. I e-mail the president with concerns/complaints with no response, but he called and collected my money very fast. The "Virtual Educator" that is "free" I still have not gotten nor do I expect to. I am thinking of starting back up with the good old travel cards. I am just disappointed, but I have high hopes.

None that stand out. EHR systems are so new that we don't have many to compare to. I think that cloud technology will be the way to go one day soon, but maybe not now.

Documentation program very weak. Cannot batch print notes. Daily note 2-3 pages long. No response other than lip service to correcting anything. Just now hiring more programmers. Should have been done a long time ago. Won't refund money. F grade with BBB. Using past success as a predictor of future. Using association with National associations to give impression of endorsement.
Overall
Stay totally away at this time. It may turn out to be a good program. There will be plenty of programs certified in near future. You can compare and contrast at that time. There is real possibility that it will be so difficult to get government money that you wont get it with any program. Some of you are already using software that will become certified and then you won't have to change.

This program has the potential to be great if it ever is completed and made functional. If completed, it will be easy to use and navigate and have good features.
Cons
It isn't done! There are problems with connectivity quite frequently which stops your business in it's tracks! You can't schedule, see notes, take notes, etc. We have lost new patients because they have called and we couldn't schedule them. The app sometimes work and sometimes don't. The billing app was promised in the fall, not even close to being done/usable. Exam section is so slow that you can sometimes fully adjust a patient before the screen changes! you don't have the ability to print any reports at all, no daysheets, statistics, etc. Support is lacking. When (or if) you get a response it is usually that they know there is a problem, however they have no idea when it will be fixed. You used to be able to call and get an answer and now you get to leave a message, which does you no good when you have patients standing in front of you wondering when they can schedule, etc. No compensation offered for lack of use or broken promises of functionality.
Overall
Do not buy at this time! The current users are funding the building of this program. I have concerns that this program will ever make it to completion. We have tried to only use the scheduling app and use the note taking for only certain insurances. We are now back to scheduling in the old book. keeping our fingers crossed that they will stop trying to get certification and work on fixing what they have! Not much longer and we will drop this program.

Clean look, automatic backing up. Accessible from any computer once you had a small program loaded on your pc. No servers necessary, unlimited users open at one time.
Cons
Don't know where to start. Program runs on a cloud, had major connection issues despite adding a 2nd internet connection to the office for computers only after they blamed my connection on my VOIP. We had both DSL and Cable and program was super slow and dropping me all the time especially during peak times when we needed it the most. Customer support never answered phone or emails (well 1 time they did). Lots of promises broken and very featureless at this point. They didn't and still dont I think have billing out yet. You still can't send claims to clearinghouses. Lots of sales tactics and changing their prices all the time.
Overall
I think by 2012 this program will be great, but the start of 2011 the program looked so glitchy and unstable that I had to leave. Support not up to snuff for their number of users. They would not give me a refund on their faulty system. Looks at Chirotouch, the program just destroys econnect and at $287 a month on lease for 4 years, worth every penny.

It is web-based so there is no need for a server, network or on-site backup.
Cons
eConnect is not complete. The billing portion was promised in September 2010 and is still not complete. The reviews listed on this site are misleading. eConnect was not even released when these were posted.
There is no option to work offline. If the internet is down, so is your ability to access records, schedule, billing and notes.
Overall
A good idea but I feel FutureHealth rushed the release and has been misleading about eConnect's functionality. There are a lot of issues that still need to be worked out.

I can't say enough good things about this package!
My clinic bought Microfour's Office suit for $7000.00. Believe me WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The Microfour is only designed to suck off money from you, every service call cost extra, they want to have $1600 for training or $260 an hour. Long story short, I spent about $10,000.00 and still, it never came to work since it was useless and horrible customer service. And now since I have the VOS I wanted to sell it for cheap and they told me that this would cost another 2500 on transfer fee!! WHAT A RIP OFF!
Aaron and the people from the FH team were very helpful and now I have a program that I understand, that works perfect for me and my staff. The Customer service is superb!

True Health Record. Company seems to be always improving.

If you have a problem, it is all but imposible to get FH to pick up the phone. Company was much more interested in helping prior to purchase. Similar complaints to any program that would make your office paperless-time consuming conversion but overall no choice. They have an auth code that they make you put in every few months. Time consuming and needless.
Overall
The best product on the market but customer support is a major issue. My recommendation is to purchase the product but bring up their poor customer service and hopefully they change.

The software package is very complete and easy to customize to my needs. I feel that EHR/EMR are going to the rule instead of the exception very soon. The trend is in that direction. FHI is ahead of that trend from what I see. The support has been great. Updates are made regularly and they are open to suggestions. I think I have talked to 90% of the people in the company at one time or another. All have been very helpful and quick to help. They seem to be working hard to become a Certified EHR/EMR software package and that is going to be important.
Speed and accuracy are important in my note taking and FHI offers that.
Cons
There are some inconsistencies in how some of the screen present but I think this is in part do to some growing pains as changes have been made. I have brought these iusse to the Tech Support departments attention and some have been addressed.
Overall
I give FHI high marks. I have used some form of computer assisited note taking for 15 years or more. FHI is the most complete package I have used.

After teaching proper record keeping for over 25 years I couldn't be more happy with my VOS. It allows me to create a complete, comprehensive daily note in as little as 30 seconds, sometimes less. I find I can enter a complete new patient record in only a few minutes. I find the ability to customize the screens and thereby my notes to be exceptional. My staff are more than satisfied with the integration of the electronic health record and Intelligent Billing. Insurance billing time has dropped dramatically and revenue increased through using this system. On those few occasions when a glitch occurred it was addressed very quickly usually within the hour.

The only Con, I wish I had this system 10 years ago.

Pros
VOS has all of the features that we wanted and needed. It is convenient and has a great layout. It is user-friendly. All of the new employees we have hired have been able to adapt well to it and catch on quickly.
VOS contains all of the information we need.
I love that we can have webinars available to learn the features and that we can watch online training videos. Also, the instant chat tech support is a great feature as well.
It's also nice that it is constantly improving and that our suggestions are heard by the developers.
We love that when companies request our notes, all it takes is a push of a button. No more making copies, digging through files, wondering if they can read the doc's chicken scratch!
There are so many more great things, but I don't have enough characters left to write anymore!
Cons
The only con (which I'm sure is normal) was just getting used to switching from our old system to VOS. It took a bit of time but now things run like clockwork.
Oh and some of our employees wish there was a spell check!
Overall
I would recommend VOS to any doctor/clinic. We researched many other companies' software and Future Health came up by far the best. We have been so pleased with it and can't even imagine practicing without it now.

Fantastic customer service. Like the ease of the program and the fact that it updates daily if needed. Whenever we can find a problem customer support is ready to take on the challenge.
Cons
None that I can think of now.
Overall
Fantastic program with super fantastic customer support unlike anything from product to customer support from the big box companies that I have used before.

this product is very efficient. It not only saves time, but creates it.
Cons
It is expensive and tough getting started. It does not change around the word on the notes between visits.
