Glad to be paperless

Comments: I really enjoy the ability to scan in documents into the EHR storage system of the software. We are now a paperless practice, and by paperless I mean we no longer have to store paper files in my practice and we no longer have to follow patients around the clinic and use paper notes. A neighboring doctor even asked for me to come to his practice and help him set the software up as we have it in our clinic, and he as been very pleased as well.

Comments: I am the office manager in our practice and my husband is the doctor. We've had Future Health for about 3 years now and I really appreciate the attentiveness of Future Health's customer service team. If I ever have questions with the software, I use click to chat, which they're always available. I also use email to contact them, and when I do, I always get a prompt response.

Because of Future Health's training, we have successfully attested for Meaningful Use for the last 2 years. If we ever have MU questions, they're always available to ask right away. I don't have to go searching, because they're always right there.

After we initially purchased the software, I was worried about learning the system. Thankfully it was so easy to navigate and use that it didn't take me long to pick up and now it's second nature.

I always recommend Future Health to all our friends who practice and would gladly recommend it to anyone else.

Versatility of the apps and security of the cloud

Comments: I like that Future Health has a cloud based system. I don't have to worry about record storing or security of patient information, it's all in the cloud. I think the cloud is the way of the future and I'm glad that I'm not trying to catch up. I really enjoy the versatility of the applications and the fact that you can customize it. Because I do DOT exams, one of the deciding factors for choosing Future Health was their DOT application. I really feel the company has done a terrific job of making training materials available and guiding me through successful Meaningful Use attestation.

Comments: I really appreciate that Future Health has no hidden fees. I had a different company's software for the last 10 years. I always seemed to have maintenance issues with my old software and had to pay an extra $1200 to $2000 every year plus spend countless hours on the computer trying to figure out what the problem was and now I don't have to do that any more with Future Health. Future Health's software is great, I really like that I can customize the software to use as little or as much of it as I'd like.

Comments: I like the fact that using the software correctly keeps me compliant with the health insurance companies. I use the recreate from last note with each patient encounter, it's great not to have to start from scratch with each new patient. I thought the training was great for both my staff and myself. The training modules walked us through everything and all my questions were answered right away. I was never stuck for more than a day on the training, which was great.

Meaningful Use seemed very daunting at first, but Future Health made the process go very smoothly. I had no problems at all hitting all the Meaningful Use scores and getting all the incentive checks.

Pros: I am an activator doctor, so I really like that it has the activator screen. It's really easy to navigate and I really like the buttons that are easy to find and click. For the most part, its easy to customize to fit my needs. Also my notes are always legible.

Cons: The only complaint I have is the scheduling piece of the software could use some work. However, they have assured me they are updating it.

Overall: I would definitely recommend Future Health to any other doctor.

Pros: I like the fact that you can pick and choose apps to customize the software. It's nice to have an integrated system that everyone in the office can work off of. We have two doctors and multiple staff. I like the short video training they offer as well.

Cons: It took a while for everything to progress. However, we do understand that any technology company has to progress. It was tough at first to get the proper training and get the apps to do what we wanted.

Overall: We would recommend Future Health. We chose Future Health because of the cost of use. I would recommend especially to a doctor just getting started.

Pros: I love the efficiency of Future Health¿s software. It provides everything I need in such a manner that does not interrupt my workflow. The training team was helpful that implementation with my staff was quick and painless. We were able to customize the system with macros that make developing clear, compliant notes very simple. We also appreciate its affordability.

Cons: The only bug we have had is being logged-off spontaneously.

Overall: I switched from a competitor with a server based product and moved into Future Health¿s cloud product. I truly love the ease of use and all the features that are continually added. I highly recommend this to any DC considering software.

Pros: From my first inquiry phone call to getting through our data conversion and getting up and running, the Future Health team has been absolutely stellar!!

Cons: There has not been one thing that has come up that Future Health couldn't resolve for me in a very timely manner.

Pros: Documentation is SO easy!

They give us Compliant Note examples to review and implement on our own.

Our staff says "this makes it so much easier" almost every day!

The features are great and each PERSON can make their eConnect look they way they want it to! And the little they dont have now, they will have soon which is great. They take the time to make things right before they introduce a new app.

The integration from schedule to SOAP to billing is seamless!

Its just so so easy!!

Cons: Not all the features we want, but the bells an whistles are coming and we got in at a MUCH lower price than some other softwares.

Overall: Absolute best EHR out there and for a LOT less cost than the other "good" ones.

I am SO glad that we didnt waste our money with the more expensive software and server costs. The cloud is COOL too!

The apps that they have put out this year are AWESOME!!! We got into the Apps for life program, which has ALREADY paid off for us.

eConnect has helped our Doctors become more compliant (they actually SHOWED us compliant note examples) but it has also helped our staff - our biller is LOVING it and the front desk staff has had a LOT of things taken off their plate since the software does it for us, and even more soon!

e-Connect review

Pros: The basic software package is a great place to begin learning the fundamentals of a complete EHR system. I first heard of eConnect through the American Chiropractic Association's publication (ACA News) and was interested in the free basic functionality because I have just started a practice with limited funding. I was immediately impressed with the ease of use, and the online help documents and videos answered almost all of my questions. I am a recent graduate who still was using paper records during my education, and it was very important to be able to learn the software without an initial financial obligation. After some time using and learning eConnect, I have decided to add functionality through extra affordable applications which will improve my practice's operational efficiency. It is nice to be able to produce such detailed information in a "point and click" environment, with the ability to personalize the information via freeform in the comments sections.

Cons: New practitioners may have to spend extra time learning the system. The body diagram in the free software can be difficult to learn in order to create descriptive images.

Overall: I highly recommend eConnect as a starting point for those searching for a complete EHR system. You can learn the free basic structural program at your own pace and the support system is fantastic. I have had no problems with the software and look forward to implementing it into my practice.

Pros: ¿¿¿Once you get used to the system, it is very fast. It is very quick!
¿¿¿Can do multiple items from one screen. I do not have to go to multiple screens that my colleagues have to go through with other software programs.
¿¿¿Very streamlined ¿¿¿ lighting fast. Very quick to zip back and forth within the program.
¿¿¿Documentation, scheduling, and billing has superior integration.
¿¿¿Everything in the software is well thought out.

Cons: ¿¿¿Government requirements for the Meaningful Use, however, Future Health worked with me every step of the way and made it easy to go after the grant money!
¿¿¿Billing is fairly involved ¿¿¿ payment from billing company to ledger

Overall: ¿¿¿Really easy system and easy to learn. There is a lot required by the government, however, Future Health did a fantastic job of training for the government requirements. If you need an easy to use program with excellent follow through¿¿¿ look no further, Future Health is the program you need.

Pros: Training and support when I attested for meaningful use was 1st rate. ($18,000.00 direct deposited to my account last week) Plus all the new functionality this year. But what I really like is how easy it is to learn and use. My office manager (wife) really like the billing now.

The new Macro App was a game changer for me.

I have to say this piece of software is really turning into something! Keep up the good work!!

Cons: It took a while to get to where it is now.

Overall: Last year I would have hesitated to recommend.

Today, you would be foolish not to at least consider eConnect. This company has got it together now.

NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RECORDS AGAIN

Cons: Live training can be redundant at times and the live trainers will repeat themselves often.

Overall: A very good investment for my office. Before Future Health, I worried about my records and that I was missing portions to add to my notes. I was getting yelled at for a few years for my documentation and since I started with Future Health, I do not have to worry any more. I see a lot of Medicare patients and Medicare is continually going after Chiropractors so it was a necessary decision to go EHR. Since I started using Future Health, I have never had to worry about my records and know they are audit proof.

Has Too many Bugs to be Efficient!!!

Pros: When I was first sold the software i thought it was going to be a life saver. The notes section is complete and easy to use.

Cons: When I was first sold the software i thought it was going to be a life saver. But then i got it and it takes more time than my old program. First it has to constantly update every week. The program just freezes!!!! At any given time in the most unpractical times. Never a good thing when you have the phone ringing and people trying to schedule and you writing notes. Customer support is not very helpful they told me it my router. Bought new $150 router and then had computer guy check it $300 visit!!! This still did not help the problem.
They need to streamline notes I wish i could omit certain parts of the notes so the note is not so long. Notes to a attorney for a PI case 68 pages of paper for 16 visits!!! That is not including my PI report. The scheduling part of the program is marginal at best some things are very steam line while other seem to be more complicated than they need to be.

Overall: I really wanted to love this program. I could only use it for four months and then had to move one. It would freeze all the time. I think it has the makings of a good product unfortunately I did not have the time or the patience. I bought the free apps for life package it was not cheap. Buyer beware.

Cons: In the last quarter of 2011 it was hard to get someone from customer service in a timely manner. I assume this was due to the fact that Future Health was in such demand at the last quarter of 2011. Since they have hired more staff and that problem and now we can easily get any questions we have answered right away.

Overall: I am a practicing Chiropractor, national speaker and author for the Chiropractic industry. I have looked at, and been asked to endorse several applications. In my clinic there is only one system that I will have. That is Future Health

Pros: I like the concept of their cloud environment and the cost savings that affords in lack of hardware. It was inexpensive but in the end i think you get what you pay for. I bought it after reviewing the VOS program and was told that it was the exact same but functioned in a cloud environment and not on an in office server. Was that ever so wrong.

Cons: The cloud didnt seem to work all that well, as it often lost connectivity. But to be honest I never gave the connectivity a real shot as we didnt use it very long. The biggest problem i found was that the documentation part was more than lacking in fact it was embarrassing. The whole program seemed to be a shell of what the VOS program was. Someone in a prior review said clumsy and that is probably at best. The documentation part is simply unfinished. It was so bad in fact that i asked for my money back after about a month of trying to work with it. I of course was denied this and at this point realized that i was sold a bill of goods. Also the customer support maddening as their simply was none.

Overall: I think it is relatively obvious that FutureHealth sold a product before it was ready to be released. I think they got in over their heads and tried to get people on board before their product was ready. Perhaps in hopes that by the time we realized what happened that they would get it up to speed. But no, it is simply a piece of junk that is fairly slickly marketed. Look elsewhere!

Great EMR to use

Pros: The program is very easy to use, there is little cost to hardware (I have a couple of touchscreens in each of my adjusting rooms) and I can access the software from my home (major plus). eConnect software is the second EMR I have owned. Before I closed my first office, I had spent over $10 K for an EMR program that I maintained on my hardware at the office. The cost of eConnect and the low cost of hardware is a huge plus. Buying a server for my first practice was expensive and I found it a nightmare to maintain. Having eConnect for my clinic has made a huge improvement for my practice and eliminates many of the problems I had at my first clinic.

Speed of documentation is also a huge plus as well. I can do my wellness notes within seconds. I have yet to see a program that is as easy to use.

Cons: The majority of my cons are nearly all resolved since when I first purchased eConnect. The program and company had issues with slowness last Spring and I had a hard time getting a hold of support. I think a lot of this had to do with the company's growth.

As of today, the software is fast and I get return phone calls within a day's time by support. The cons I have now is that there are a couple of apps not released that I need, but econnect has been consistently releasing new features in a short period of time.

Overall: If I were to write this recommendation a year ago, my Cons would far outweighed the Pros. Having the program and seeing the program develop over the past year, I am very impressed with what eConnect has delivered considering econnect is not even two years old. I have spoke with their CEO Dr. Kraus and I am impressed with how much passion there is for where they want to take the program.

Overall, the program is very easy-to-use, most of the kinks have been taken out, and support has dramatically improved. Especially seeing where the program was a year ago compared to now. Training is also good and helpful.

Pros: Compliance with current EHR standards for CMS.

Cons: Lack of customer service, software shuts down on its own, software is so slow that the doctor can adjust a patient and the screen will still not have moved to a different screen. You will put in a call to customer service and will never have it answered or called back. Emails refer you to YouTube training videos instead of one on one contact that was a "selling pitch".

Overall: We purchased this software to replace our current software and thank goodness we didn't get rid of our current software. This software lacks the ability to run an office smoothly. What seemed like such a great software on the sales pitch has now turned into a huge waste of money and time. Do not buy this software.

Pros: Great notes, nice detail.

Cons: Unable to generate a paper HCFA form from the billing portion of the software. Tried every conceivable option, including a new printer Future Health recommended, but nothing worked. After 3 weeks of use, with no success, they denied my refund request and am now going through the dispute process with my credit card company. If this saves one other person from going through the nightmare I've experienced, it will be worth it.

Overall: I can't recommend a product that doesn't provide a workable billing solution as part of its package. If notes are the only part needed, it would work. If an entire package is needed, try Compulink.

Pros: It did not take me several months to get up and running. It was fairly intuitive with a very short learning curve for me. The software does not get in the way of my running my practice in the slightest bit and enables me to concentrate on the important things, like my patients. Also, it is already EHR certified.

Cons: Not many apps out yet, but it is being addressed as the software develops further.

Overall: I really like the software. It was easy to learn, is easy to use, and the development team is working hard to improve the software continually. Customer support is excellent.

Inproving the Art & Science of Chiropractic

Pros: New Idea: Someone once said to me, "As soon as you've succeeded, then I'll listen to what you have to say... until then you would be better served to listen to me and following my example as I've already done it." "So don't make waves or try to re-invent the wheel." After hearing those exact words from someone whom I had considered to me my mentor; I walked away and never looked back and in doing so I shut down mentally and artistically regarding myself to be inferior and less than capable of forming a useful thought or new idea for this beautiful healing profession. I have a small reservation still from opening up and adding anything such as an intovative idea for a wonderful product designed to uplift the profession of chiropractic. And God knows we need uplifted across the nation not only in Chiropractic but in Health Care in general. What ever happened to the idea of "patient care" and "1st do no harm" , etc. /// (con't below)

Cons: (con't from above); Can this company eConnect be a strong pillar to assist the chiropractic profession as a whole across the nation ? I think yes it can. And if you approach the marketing even more aggressivily at first the long range unification effects could become monumental and trend setting. Say, for example, we all formed a CO-OP and as a memeber we had access to 1,000's and multiple 1,000's of chiropractors across this nation who could easly standarize quality patient care thru the eConnect approach. If I were to receive a referral or a previous treatment plan sent to my office from a doctor's office utilizing eConnect software I would have to set down and collect my composure because of the difference between professional quality progress notes and treatemnt care plans and protocols and the usual "chicken scratches" and "off-the-wall short hand scribbles" that usually arrive after a request for past treatment records. (con't below)

Overall: I know I'm preaching to the choir in this response; however, that being said... consider the idea of forming a CO-OP of sorts and in doing so perhaps more software can be affordable to the 12 doctor / 1 office manager size clinics across the nation. The eConnect is better than straight dictation in my opinion due to the fact the doctor actually sees the information personally before it is processed into the patient's progress note. Convenience and functionality unmatched

Pros: The Asthetics of the software, ease of use, the fact that everything is accessable through the main screen and you can toggle back and forth without opening multiple windows. Large icons make touch screen applications very easy within the adjusting rooms. Since its cloud based, finishing up on notes at home is just as fast as doing them in the office. With non-cloud based software, I would have to use remote desktop connection and then the slowness made me not able to work from home efficiently. teh Scheduler is easy to move appointments around and customize as needed.

Cons: Some small bug issues that shut the software down occasionally. Missing some functionality of CVOS like a 'sent to billing' column in the dx/tx report.

Overall: Highly reccomended as a high volume clinic, scheduling, documentation, and billing are a breeze so I can focus on patient care and not spending all my time with documentation. Works great for my clinic and we have been running smoothly.

Pros: Seemed like a good program. Seems like they are on top of the Medicare regs.

Cons: Purchased the product on lies and high pressure. Company refused to refund money after 10 days when staff found out the program didn't work as promised. Could'nt review the paid for portion of the program until purchased.

Overall: Stay away as system is extremly hard to use, and it didn't integrate with billing system used for 20 years.

Terrible support! Wouldn't Purchase,,Regret the Sales pitch!

Pros: Terrible support, wait 2 days to hear back. Lousy implementation. Diffcult to use scheduler. Understaffed. 10 people for 3000 practices. Was told that by VP of Sales that "we are growing exponentially, so things..." are allowed to go wrong. No reply for 15 days for emailed information. Waited +48 hours for support to call us back..

Cons: Asked for a refund,, and received an answer 15 days later. "We don't give refunds". I stated even though I received no support for over 48 hours and was told here's your ticket number and we will call you back in the order we received your call. Received the" no refunds" dialoque 15 days after numerous emails and certifed letter sent. VP of Salesstates Brenda recevies emails, she was in an ATV accident so if a person is out we're down that person. SO that's why you didn't receive an answer. Lousy customer service

Overall: AWFUL! don't purchase!

econnect performs well

Pros: Customer Service is great, price point is fantastic, and the program does what my clinic needs. I have always found EHR software hard to use, but with about a month of practice with econnect we were up and running. We use the scheduler, health record, notes and billing and all work well together. I saw a couple of reviews that said the program is not complete or ready but perhaps that was in the past. I am pleased with the purchase and look forward to more upgrades in the future.

Cons: Not certified YET. but have been told that will happen in July. Would like to see more scheduler functionality. The software is "cloud software" so I had to upgrade my internet speed which was more expensive but it runs really fast now.

Overall: I would not hesitate to purchase this program for a practice like mine that see's 125 to 150 patients per week. I don't think there is any really perfect software for D.C.'s but this is really close for me.

Pros: It does alot of stuff and keeps the office almost paperless. I like that it runs on "The Cloud." I will stick with this program more because I have not other choice. I put to much money in so far.

Cons: I just started my office from scratch and was looking for a good softwar program.I have read all the complaints and even 9 months later they are all still valid. I get dropped from the program constantly. The software is not complete and as such they do "Upgrades" that never work and shut down my office for at least half a day everytime, and then other parts of the software stop working. I always get the answering machine when I call for help and it has been two days since I last called for help with no response. I e-mail the president with concerns/complaints with no response, but he called and collected my money very fast. The "Virtual Educator" that is "free" I still have not gotten nor do I expect to. I am thinking of starting back up with the good old travel cards. I am just disappointed, but I have high hopes.

Overall: WAIT!!!! See what the finished product will look like, in what.......... maybe a few years.

Pros: None that stand out. EHR systems are so new that we don't have many to compare to. I think that cloud technology will be the way to go one day soon, but maybe not now.

Cons: Documentation program very weak. Cannot batch print notes. Daily note 2-3 pages long. No response other than lip service to correcting anything. Just now hiring more programmers. Should have been done a long time ago. Won't refund money. F grade with BBB. Using past success as a predictor of future. Using association with National associations to give impression of endorsement.

Overall: Stay totally away at this time. It may turn out to be a good program. There will be plenty of programs certified in near future. You can compare and contrast at that time. There is real possibility that it will be so difficult to get government money that you wont get it with any program. Some of you are already using software that will become certified and then you won't have to change.

Pros: This program has the potential to be great if it ever is completed and made functional. If completed, it will be easy to use and navigate and have good features.

Cons: It isn't done! There are problems with connectivity quite frequently which stops your business in it's tracks! You can't schedule, see notes, take notes, etc. We have lost new patients because they have called and we couldn't schedule them. The app sometimes work and sometimes don't. The billing app was promised in the fall, not even close to being done/usable. Exam section is so slow that you can sometimes fully adjust a patient before the screen changes! you don't have the ability to print any reports at all, no daysheets, statistics, etc. Support is lacking. When (or if) you get a response it is usually that they know there is a problem, however they have no idea when it will be fixed. You used to be able to call and get an answer and now you get to leave a message, which does you no good when you have patients standing in front of you wondering when they can schedule, etc. No compensation offered for lack of use or broken promises of functionality.

Overall: Do not buy at this time! The current users are funding the building of this program. I have concerns that this program will ever make it to completion. We have tried to only use the scheduling app and use the note taking for only certain insurances. We are now back to scheduling in the old book. keeping our fingers crossed that they will stop trying to get certification and work on fixing what they have! Not much longer and we will drop this program.

With time will be a good program, but right now big problems

Pros: Clean look, automatic backing up. Accessible from any computer once you had a small program loaded on your pc. No servers necessary, unlimited users open at one time.

Cons: Don't know where to start. Program runs on a cloud, had major connection issues despite adding a 2nd internet connection to the office for computers only after they blamed my connection on my VOIP. We had both DSL and Cable and program was super slow and dropping me all the time especially during peak times when we needed it the most. Customer support never answered phone or emails (well 1 time they did). Lots of promises broken and very featureless at this point. They didn't and still dont I think have billing out yet. You still can't send claims to clearinghouses. Lots of sales tactics and changing their prices all the time.

Overall: I think by 2012 this program will be great, but the start of 2011 the program looked so glitchy and unstable that I had to leave. Support not up to snuff for their number of users. They would not give me a refund on their faulty system. Looks at Chirotouch, the program just destroys econnect and at $287 a month on lease for 4 years, worth every penny.

eConnect vs VOS

Pros: It is web-based so there is no need for a server, network or on-site backup.

Cons: eConnect is not complete. The billing portion was promised in September 2010 and is still not complete. The reviews listed on this site are misleading. eConnect was not even released when these were posted.
There is no option to work offline. If the internet is down, so is your ability to access records, schedule, billing and notes.

Overall: A good idea but I feel FutureHealth rushed the release and has been misleading about eConnect's functionality. There are a lot of issues that still need to be worked out.

Pros: I can't say enough good things about this package!
My clinic bought Microfour's Office suit for $7000.00. Believe me WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The Microfour is only designed to suck off money from you, every service call cost extra, they want to have $1600 for training or $260 an hour. Long story short, I spent about $10,000.00 and still, it never came to work since it was useless and horrible customer service. And now since I have the VOS I wanted to sell it for cheap and they told me that this would cost another 2500 on transfer fee!! WHAT A RIP OFF!
Aaron and the people from the FH team were very helpful and now I have a program that I understand, that works perfect for me and my staff. The Customer service is superb!

Pros: Easy one page soap screen, not an overly complicated program.

Cons: As of now you can not replicate soap notes unless you buy an unpgrade. No billing capabilities for at least 90 days. Despite being send several emails telling me everything is fixed, I still get errors and error messages

Overall: Even though it is " free" it will require additional apps. I would wait until the billing component is introduced and the bugs are worked out.

Pros: True Health Record. Company seems to be always improving.

Cons: If you have a problem, it is all but imposible to get FH to pick up the phone. Company was much more interested in helping prior to purchase. Similar complaints to any program that would make your office paperless-time consuming conversion but overall no choice. They have an auth code that they make you put in every few months. Time consuming and needless.

Overall: The best product on the market but customer support is a major issue. My recommendation is to purchase the product but bring up their poor customer service and hopefully they change.

Pros: The documentation is logical and easy for me. The company has terrific training and it is unlimited. They will do individual webinar type training with you forever if you need it. I have turned over some staff and they have basically trained a new CA and recently added associate doctor.

Cons: The price is up there, but, it is competitive with others that have less features.

Overall: The combination of notes, EHR, billing and patient education has created office efficiencies that have allowed my staff to do other revenue generating tasks and the patient education has created a lot of talk in my area.

Pros: Wonderful product. Each module flow together very well. Makes great note. Wonderful company to do business with. Great support. Amazing what this product can do.

Cons: Scary at first until you get into it and find out just how much support this company will give you. Does not give us a birthday list that we can use for sending out birthday cards.

Overall: Excellent to superior. Have and will continue recommending this product to our friends and colleagues.

Pros: FHI provides exceptional customer support. The software is both user friendly and satisfies clinical documentation standards. Beyond that, the design quality of the software itself is state of the art-no skimping and high quality!

Cons: High cost maintenance fee.

Overall: Don't waste your money buying inferior for less.

The maintenance fee is priced to reflect ongoing support and software upgrades. Our customers are not expected to pay for enhancements or upgrades, its all inclusive with their maintenance agreement. For instance, when the new 1500 form came out, we know of some companies who charged their customers an additional $600 to support it. With Future Health, there was no additional cost.

Pros: The software package is very complete and easy to customize to my needs. I feel that EHR/EMR are going to the rule instead of the exception very soon. The trend is in that direction. FHI is ahead of that trend from what I see. The support has been great. Updates are made regularly and they are open to suggestions. I think I have talked to 90% of the people in the company at one time or another. All have been very helpful and quick to help. They seem to be working hard to become a Certified EHR/EMR software package and that is going to be important.

Speed and accuracy are important in my note taking and FHI offers that.

Cons: There are some inconsistencies in how some of the screen present but I think this is in part do to some growing pains as changes have been made. I have brought these iusse to the Tech Support departments attention and some have been addressed.

Overall: I give FHI high marks. I have used some form of computer assisited note taking for 15 years or more. FHI is the most complete package I have used.

Future Health's Great Virtual Office Suite

Pros: After teaching proper record keeping for over 25 years I couldn't be more happy with my VOS. It allows me to create a complete, comprehensive daily note in as little as 30 seconds, sometimes less. I find I can enter a complete new patient record in only a few minutes. I find the ability to customize the screens and thereby my notes to be exceptional. My staff are more than satisfied with the integration of the electronic health record and Intelligent Billing. Insurance billing time has dropped dramatically and revenue increased through using this system. On those few occasions when a glitch occurred it was addressed very quickly usually within the hour.

Cons: The only Con, I wish I had this system 10 years ago.

Overall: I give Future Health's product my unqualified recommendation.

Pros: VOS has all of the features that we wanted and needed. It is convenient and has a great layout. It is user-friendly. All of the new employees we have hired have been able to adapt well to it and catch on quickly.
VOS contains all of the information we need.
I love that we can have webinars available to learn the features and that we can watch online training videos. Also, the instant chat tech support is a great feature as well.
It's also nice that it is constantly improving and that our suggestions are heard by the developers.
We love that when companies request our notes, all it takes is a push of a button. No more making copies, digging through files, wondering if they can read the doc's chicken scratch!
There are so many more great things, but I don't have enough characters left to write anymore!

Cons: The only con (which I'm sure is normal) was just getting used to switching from our old system to VOS. It took a bit of time but now things run like clockwork.
Oh and some of our employees wish there was a spell check!

Overall: I would recommend VOS to any doctor/clinic. We researched many other companies' software and Future Health came up by far the best. We have been so pleased with it and can't even imagine practicing without it now.

Dr. Smith's con on "not changing around the word on notes" relates to randomization. Our thought on randomization is that the doctor is creating the notes and is responsible for his dictation; it is not up to the software to change the wording so the note looks different.
