Our organization needed a simple program to record and report weekly church offerings. A big "pro" is that Donarius is exactly what we were looking for- easy to use, easy to customize to fit our exact needs and the price is right. Simply stated, "it works." The program is very stable and there are never any lockups or loss of data, as we experienced with other similar but more expensive programs. The biggest "pro," however, is the superb technical support. Every issue is addressed and every question gets answered until you, the customer, are satisfied. The program has been updated free-of-charge several times, each time to correct minor issues that users found.
Cons
I can't think of anything to put here.
Overall
Donarius is a simple to use, well-thought-out and masterfully designed piece of software. It was designed for regular people. You don't have to be a programmer to understand it and get it to do everything you need. Everyone in our organization loves it because it could be customized to fit our exact needs. It is such an improvement over the "big name" Church Management software that used to clutter up our offering computer and send us home every week with a headache. It's free to try- so try it. You'll know soon enough if Donarius is what you are looking for.

- Easy to do mass emails and letters
- Easy way to transfer data from one computer to the other. That is if you are not on network

- Cannot handle a one time pledge
- Cannot send sms
Overall
I would like to recommend this for a church which is looking for a simple application to track their members contacts, givings, and send them updates every now and then

Pros
Very easy to use. Has most of the function I could want, and their customer service has been excellent at adding or modifying function that has made it easier for me to use.
Cons
Some of the reports are not very flexible, but they have been helpful in improving them to meet my needs.
Overall
The function I do is entering pledges and donations and generating reports on status. It works very well for my purpose. I would recommend it to you.

Pros
Very easy to install and use; Nuverbs system support is second to none. Nuverb will re-write the program if you suggest workable changes that will make it better. Then they will send the re-work out as an up-grade. How cool is that?
Entering is very quick and the available summary sheets are more than adequate to complete tax receipts and any year-end information that may be required.
Cons
Hard to find cons for a program that works as well as this.
Overall
Unless you need a program with all the whistles and bells, this has to be the best value envelope stewards program on the market.

Pros
Donarius is very easy to use. It tracks the important information to me as the pastor of the church. It is a very simple product. Not overloaded with a lot of features that I will never use.
Cons
Does not include accounting features. However this is not at all important to me, since we use QuickBooks for our accounting.

Pros
We think Donarious has provided a customized software for churches to use at a reasonable price. They don't shy away from adding customer request upgrades with a qiuck turn around.
This program certainly beats enter by hand, listing cheques & balancing cash.
Cons
Some times things happen that we have no explanation for. Contact with Nu-verb solves this problem promptly

Pros
Very easy to use, reports are useful. Tax receipts feature works very well.
Cons
Would like some more reporting options. Would be nice to show both a cash donation and a cheque donation from the same donor on the same date.
Overall
overall a very good product, much better than previous software used which was created in US and was noncompliant with Canadian tax receipt requirements

Canadian made - understands Canadian Taxes.
Ease of use for Tellers.
Easy reports.
Easy Income Tax statements for donors.
Can, with password, prevent ENV# association with Name.
Excellent support.
Donarius support readily accepts/implements requested changes.
Cons
Although the HELP feature is quite good, it could be better. -- better "search" findings.
The "Statistical reports" could offer more parameters.
Overall
Time has proven that we made the correct choice of Donarius. It is doing everything that we require and is easy to maintain both the database and the program itself.

Can be revised to suit needs. Programme worked well for Envelope Secretsry, required changes to make it useful for Church Secretary as well. Changes have been made to our satisfaction and in reasonable time.

Download test version, establish changs required, then discussd required changes with Donarius. If he promises, he will deliver. Given that, Buy!

This is the most advanced donation tracking software available for the price.
Cons
Mail Merge Letter writing function is not very user friendly, but tech support is more than available to help work through the kinks.
Overall
This program is a must have for organizations that must track donations but can not afford high dollar programs.
