Comments: We had this software for a year because of our contract but could only stand to use it about 6 months before we switched to a different management system. The first issue with Seraphim is that is built on Silverlight so you can't your preferred browser if it is not supported. The UI is outdated, clunky, and ugly - looks like it was built WindowsXP. Seraphim is a powerful but not user-friendly or intuitive. We were spending so much time trying to figure how to use its advertised features that we were taking time away from the much more important task of performing the ministry services Seraphim was supposed to help us manage and track. Customer Service was nearly non-existent and less than helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: There are many more programs available that cost less and are easier to use. Don't waste your time or money.

Pros: Their customer service is second to none!

Cons: (To my understanding, they are fixing this by May 2017) Currently the software is completely cloud based and runs on Silverlight. It does not easily work with Chrome, although there is a workaround. Also, the display does not work completely on qualities less than 1080p. That was a bit of a hassle for some of our older monitors/computers.

Overall: We have been using Seraphim for a little over a year now. The migration of information from our former ChMS was quite simple and they were careful to make sure that everything was correct. It wasn't just a dump of data, but rather a person worked closely with us to be sure that everything transferred well.
The features of the program have transformed the way we "do ministry" and we are still adding aspects of Seraphim to our daily lives every week. They are at the cutting edge of church technology and are adding and adapting features all the time. You can tell they are serious about getting this right and staying on the front lines. Plus, the user interface is very intuitive and clean looking. It makes even the most complex of tasks seem quite easy.
By far though, the standout feature of this company is its customer support. Their website interface for customer support is informative and helpful, but the personal touch is where all the difference is made. When you call, you talk to a person that knows you and knows how to solve your issue. I once had a problem with a smartform for a large event we were hosting and the PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY spent time out of his weekend to make sure it was solved (Saturday and Sunday). Even if you do find a piece of software that works better, which I don't think you will, I can guarantee you won't find a company that cares more about making things right and keeping you happy with their product. That is invaluable!

Recommendations to other buyers: Try the program demo and give them a chance to come demo it for you in person, if possible. I wasn't sold on first glance, but they took the time to visit our church twice to demo it and prove they are serious about their customers. I was sold and can't imagine ever using another company.

Comments: Seraphim is a great software. It helped organize our visitation and follow-up efforts. The team at Seraphim is very responsive and helpful. They go above and beyond - even as far as adding features.

Comments: Our church has been using Seraphim Software for 12 months now and are so glad with the choice we made. Seraphim has eliminated the need for several other software programs because it is helping us do Children's Check-In, tithing records, keeping a church data base, online directory, etc. Everything being in one place and available wherever there is internet access has been huge for our pastors and administrative staff.
