Comments: I was looking for a collaboration platform for an international project to promote local citizen support for and investment in renewable energy. The project initially involves about 30 users from non-profits and academic institutions located in Denmark, the United States, Japan and Australia. I looked at several platforms listed on the Capterra site, and Samepage seemed to fit the bill in terms of collecting and sharing information via easy to view pages, ease of use, simple task assignment, inexpensive pricing, desktop/tablet/smartphone apps, and the availability of localized (translated) versions. Prior to setting up Samepage for our project, I got knowledgeable and courteous help from Samepage's tech support team. They also listened to my suggestions for expanding tech support to other time zones so it becomes 24/7, and for a minor cut & paste bug fix in the tablet and smartphone app. I'm looking forward to expanding our use of Samepage as our project progresses and we add more users around the world.

Pros: Provides easy to view overview of information. Ease of use. Inexpensive. Localized versions. Helpful tech support.

Cons: As the product develops, would be good with drag & drop moving of pages and information, easy export and archiving, and native (built-in) voice chat.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's easy to try out. The inexpensive Professional version is free for 30 days (no credit card required), and reverts to the free version after that if you don't subscribe.

Comments: I have used many team collaborative tools before, but most were too complicated with a cluttered layout. Samepage has a very clean and minimalistic style interface. It is easy to understand without overcomplicating things. The ease of use and efficiency is what makes Samepage standout from other team collaborative tools.
Client servicing is excellent with a great support time.

Comments: I was brought in as a PM for a company with little processes in place, and no PM software. I literally had no idea how to start organizing for a company with a ton of clients, but have regained some semblance with the help of Samepage. I have done video chats with my rep, and its been great having such a great support system. While there are some things that I wish this product did differently/had, overall its ease of use and simplicity is a blessing.

Comments: We are a small team that needs to collaborate extensively to accomplish our work across countries and our team members have various levels of comfort with technology.

First, what convinced me to go Pro...the technical support was nothing short of amazing. The person assigned to our team always makes herself available from 6 am to 6 pm in my timezone. Because our team couldn't all train at the same time, she set up different times for different sets of members. She answered any questions we had through chat often within minutes and never longer than 20 minutes during her work hours.

In Pro, an added value is being able to create sub-teams of guests who are free. In our case, this will be very helpful when we need outside short term input from various sources.

Samepage is simple to use across multiple structures (chat, video chat, pages, folders, calendar, tasks and the like), but the Joint Editing function could be improved if it could be done directly in a Word document rather than Pages which then need to be re-saved as a document.

An improvement might be to enable to selective deletion of Chat items, as there is no need to save all but decisions and conclusion. Another might be to enable more fulsome right click menu options.

Overall, Samepage should be an effective Home Base for our collaborative Teamwork.

Comments: I have been using Samepage for years. I share documents with my internal team and my bookkeeper. This is so much better than dropbox. The built-in internal messaging saves time as notes can be attached to posted files and then sent to specific people or to everyone. Its like Dropbox on steroids. Also, they have desktop and smart phone Apps as well. Organization is a breeze. It is a strong preference of mine to work with products that are well supported. The people at Samepage are wonderful. The most difficult part of using a new software is learning it. They make that easy as well. Love the people and the product!

Pros: Interface and easy of use.

Cons: Wish certain elements could be removed when not need... like the task or calendar.

Comments: We are a team of 15 scattered on 5 continents, serving our customers globally. Samepage provides a very cohesive platform, which since its early inception, has promoted collaboration, transparency and a sense of team. The ability to develop multiple teams and facilitate dialogue across various functional silos is already paying dividends. In addition, inviting customers as guests to participate is a real plus. It integrates seamlessly with all our cloud storage solutions and is super easy to use. The cost is realistic and value for money. This platform is only as good as those who use it, so get to it.

Pros: Easy of use, functionality and visual layout

Cons: Very few negatives as of yet

Comments: I'm an app junky and I drive my team crazy, as I'm always looking for the holy grail of apps. I just decided to switch off one of the more popular platforms as its just gotten so busy and visually noisy that I found myself agitated just going into it. So far my experience with SAMEPAGE has been great. Great customer service and I find it much easier to concentrate on each project since everything is literally on the SAMEPAGE as you work.

You need to spend a week playing with it because we aren't accustomed to this intelligent design. Super fast, clean, inspiring. I'm looking forward to being more focused and having less of our work forgotten or falling through the cracks. Test it out. You'll love it.

Pros: Very fast, clean design, great features. Intuitive. The more I use it the more ingenious it's name becomes. Samepage. Simple. Powerful.

Cons: Would like to be able to assign more than one person to a task. But this isn't a big deal at all.

Recommendations to other buyers: Would like to see team pricing.

Comments: A must if you want an alternative to Google Drive or OneDrive to collaborate on Word or Excel documents/spreadsheets. The interface isn't as user-friendly as say Basecamp and it lacks the organization hierarchy that folders provide but overall a great collaboration tool.

Comments: Honestly, I did not expect too much positivity from Samepage because I looked at other collaboration programs and was overwhelmed rather than put at ease. From the beginning to the end Same page has won me over. It has made organizing projects and workflow manageable and real-time internal and external collaboration simple.

The mobile app is a wonderful tool as well. It allows me to keep up with what is going on at the moment no matter where I am and review and give feedback the moment a project is completed. This avoids work stoppage for review and edits.

Just after a couple hours of using Samepage I could not see myself going back to the way things used to be.

Con: Cannot drag a document from Samepage to another file on the computer nor drag/copy an email attachment to Samepage. Right now you have to download the document and then save it where you want it to be.

Pros: Very easy to use. Real-time access to project status and communication.

Cons: Cannot drag a document from Samepage to another file on the computer nor drag/copy an email attachment to Samepage. Right now you have to download the document and then save it where you want it to be.

Comments: Whether you're tech-savvy or not, consultant/business owner/whatever - Samepage is an absolute must have for such ridiculously simple and efficient collaboration. I can use a single sign-on to manage multiple organizations, organize my teams, create "pages" (or dedicated areas) for every project, in a very simple and organized user interface. There's so much to be said about collaboration tools and the differences among them, but my absolute favorite thing about Samepage is how intuitive and familiar it feels right from the start. The learning curve is very low, and the integrations with other services, along with desktop/mobile clients and complete version-control/history is awesome. And of course, the support is top notch. I ran through a quick demo today with Monica and she was extremely helpful and overall made the decision to use the service full-time a no-brainer. Ultimately if you need a central "hub" where you can share and communicate without jumping through hoops - Samepage is everything you need wrapped up in a very powerful package that makes my work life that much easier. At the end of the day, I want to focus on getting work done (*not* setting up complicated systems) and this is exactly what I've been looking for. Start with the full-featured Pro trial. You really can't go wrong.

Comments: End of emailing back and forth. Everything is at one place, and literally everyone can finally be on the samepage. I love the product so much. It has an attractive user interface, super easy to use, keeps us organized , love the real time chat box for each page and project. I honestly dont' know what to do without the Samepage platform. It is so fun to use too.

I've spent many hours researching and comparing to see which communication platform to use, Samepage immediately won me over. What an ingenious idea, and the customer support is over the top amazing. Really friendly and supportive staff. I love everything about Samepage. My team loves it. It has increases our efficiency and organization level 10x. No joke.

Pros: real time chat box on each page, attractive user interface, just the entire package they deliver, favorite is the task bubble,

Cons: the con is that it doesn't have functionalities like Google Sheets, but it doesn't matter, because you can just add a link to the google sheet on samepage, and everything is still organized and you can combine functionality of google sheet with Samepage

Recommendations to other buyers: You will love it

Comments: I was amazed with this solution ability to support majority of my needs for internal corporate collaboration. We have tried to developed systems to help teams in the company to work better together. The company end up developing endlessly which is a huge mess and the cost of maintaining the hardware to run those solution. The SamePage is so flexible that we could customized without developer help on the fly. I think of an idea, I can start it with SamePage and then use as a major part of they way the company works together. If, it doesn't work I just delete it and start again.

The ability to limit access to certain personal and ability to add additional personnel at a later date was really good.

We have even extended the solution to allow non employees to use some part of conversation or work task.
We can work with partner and customer on the project allowing everyone to contribute to the project making for a more productive and less work.

This is a solution that will allows us to work with anyone from anywhere at anytime.

Pros: Everything it provides is just easy and simple.

Cons: The new format is not as easy to use at the Legacy Format

Recommendations to other buyers: It is a solution you need to try to see it's power.

Comments: Samepage has been a very exciting discovery for us. We have long needed the functionality of a product like Samepage and since implementing it in both our head office and geographically distant companies, we have increased our efficiency and significantly reduced the amount of time spent emailing, calling, and sending files.

More importantly, our experience with Samepage support staff has been second to none. Emails have been answered immediately and if a desired function does not yet exist, we are told if and when it is scheduled to be implemented. If it is not currently scheduled, they add it to our wishlist and thank us for our feedback.

Comments: We use Samepage to keep our company events and internal action items organized. The main feature that sold us was the ability to create teams and subpages for all the different concurrent projects that we are working on. Now all relevant files, notes, and tasks are housed in their own page instead of pieced out in emails, calendars, and google drive. We no longer need to email updated documents since Samepage allows you to upload and modify a file directly from their servers.

Another great feature is the ability to invite outside collaborators without having to buy them a license. Our outside collaborators only work on specific projects for a short period of time, being able to include them in our planning phase without giving them access to other proprietary planning details is great!

Samepage is a great program for our project management needs.

Pros: Ability to upload and modify files so the most current version is available to everyone. Subpages for different ongoing projects Able to invite outside collaborators without having to buy an extra license

Cons: Milestones are the only entries added to the calendar. Being able to have tasks with deadlines added to the calendar (with a reminder) would be great. Also, once a task has been completed or milestone date has passed, it would be nice to have the entry on the subpage archived to reduce clutter.

Recommendations to other buyers: None at the moment

Comments: Our company recently purchased Samepage as we were finding endless email trains harder and harder to keep up with. This software has allowed us to decrease our email volume intensely, as well as keep all of our team information in one place thus decreasing the amount of time each team member spends searching for valuable information and keeping it all at our fingertips!

With the pages and folders, we have been successful in making sure all team members can track progress on specific projects as well as travel plans, meetings, marketing & newsletter drops, etc.

The task function is a great way to keep on top of progress and be fully aware at all times of approaching deadlines, changes, responsibilities...

And the mobile app has allowed us more accessibility when we are away from the office,

Samepage is easy to use and dutifully fulfills its purpose! We are very happy!

Comments: As an organization, we had become dependent on email to communicate, archive activities, file and manage our employee interaction. We were spending more time looking for items than we were dealing with them. We needed a simple platform which would fulfill all these needs at a reasonable cost. Enter Samepage.

The product has met most of our requirements, and judging from road map presented by the company, we expect the few loose ends we are currently working around will be dealt with over the next few months.

Simple to use, and effective as a focal point for information, discussion, idea generation, and especially, as a vehicle for tracking progress on projects and the maintenance of an archive of the work completed.

Following the implementation of Samepage, a typical team member has seen internal email volume drop by 75%.

There have been few roadblocks to acceptance as most team members were at the point where they loathed email, and were ready for a new approach to communication and project management.

If you are are the end of your rope with your reliance on email, give Samepage a try.

You won't be disappointed.

Pros: Everything is on the same page Users can update page simultaneously Ability to restrict access to pages A permanent archive of activities of a project Chat is very handy and has replaced our use of Hangouts and SMS in many circumstance Ability to create folders to group like pages together Ease of attachment of drawings, pictures, files ...most kinds of media Ease of moving pages between Teams. The search function is very useful.

Cons: The fact that there is not an automatic date/time/initial stamp when comments are added. We add these manually, but it would be nice if it were automatic. It would also be nice to have font color tied to user ID. When you have multiple people updating a pages which is pages long, individual colored font is really the best way to focus on what individuals are saying. As yet, no ability to assign Tasks to multiple team members, although we understand this is on the road map.

Comments: I am a SamePage user since several years, and I am operating as an IT engineering consultant & soluton provider for SMB companies in the Netherlands. First I started with my owne owned on-premise version. But I followed the Samepage evolution and I picked it up again after a short period of time after SamePage.io was broadly advertised. Due to cost-strategic desicions Samepage is not available in Dutch. in the past I created all pages new for my new Dutch SamePage users. And I have done so now... Only 3 page templates to really translate and everbody who doens not need to be techsavy knows what is meant by ease of use. Especially when they download the still in beta desktop client and realise they are working more efficiently on the same documents and spreadsheets straight from the app. It takes only one button click to save important work or progres in project. Off course I wold like to have Dutch language support, but I realize is needs to be sustainable for SamePage to support it.

Pros: Ease of use for people with some IT knowledge. New users need some ecouragement to start using the features.

Cons: People need to bee encouraged to deploy their own data. After they realise it is easy and can be edited right away they get excited as it is truly easy to use... So there is allway a little bit of hesitation when introducing to new customers/users!

Recommendations to other buyers: I would like to see more specific templates , I know you can create them from scratch so maybe this is not so bad but it woudl be helpfull when they were available right away!

Comments: I'm so pleased with this collaborative software. It has many helpful tools that keeps our team operating on the same page. ;) We can easily find the latest version of the document without the shuffle of - "Can you email it to me again?" We can change text while we meet online. We open documents and have accurate, on-topic conversations that improve our meetings and make them more efficient.

Pros: Simple file storage; ease of organization; great reference for historical decisions and documentation; amazing tech support that answers my questions quickly and helpfully

Cons: There are some improvements I would like to see on Tasks, but I LOVE the Tasks. I'm okay with something needing to improve - what's perfect? Samepage listens to our requests and accommodates them as they are possible.

Comments: The overall experience has been great. The interface after taking a few minutes to watch a demo, makes complete sense and it is fairly intuitive as to how one would layout their data in a meaningful sense. The collaborative features are spot on and easy to use, which is great in convincing others to move away from their tired and lacking platform over to something that is overall just better to use.

Pros: Messaging and collaborative features are spot on, with the ability to compartmentalize teams. The ever evolving feature list based on actual user input and demand speaks volumes to the effort that Kerio places into Samepage as a whole.

Cons: I speak as a minority on this one but I would like to see a Samepage app for Windows Mobile in the Windows Store

Comments: I am using Samepage with some civic groups, volunteer - some official, some more organic but with a lot of overlap. Many of the users are hesitant to "sign-up" for a new service but I have achieved 100% engagement for the first time, so I am optimistic I have finally found an answer. Looking to give 5 stars when teams can have their own pages.

We initially started using it as a "meeting space" for a grassroots group championing a new park. We were able to upload the graphics for distribution, links for petitions, podcasts and Facebook - without having to find it in an email thread. The team is comprised of all ages, most either owning their own company or working in a small shop. This seems to bridge all.

I am now using it for two other organizations - in a similar format. I like that I can have one app with several different organizations and yet I am not concerned I am going to chat or send communications accidentally to the wrong group. Would love it if it had a RSVP/Invite feature for events.

Comments: We have two email newsletters I put out weekly for clients and we just started using Samepage in a big way and it has streamlined our workflow. Items such as photos, PDFs, and revised spreadsheets were getting lost in email threads, Trello cards, Slack messages, Dropbox, Google Docs, and texts. We use Samepage as a collaborative repository for every issue of the newsletter, creating a new page for each newsletter edition. Today I had an overview call with Karla, one of their product evangelists and learned the simple way to create 2- and 3-column layouts, almost like coding up a web page (which I don't have the skills for). What I like is that my collaborators "get" how to use Samepage in about 10 minutes of use. I can't say that about other tools I have used in the past. I work a lot with startups and I am going to recommend they use Samepage when they need a integrated tool for team collaboration.

An ease of use UX and mobile app that keeps us in the loop and on top of action items. Karla gave me a thorough tour and amazingly answered all the questions I had without even having to ask. Great presentation. Great customer service with a very intuitive collaborative platform. A great solution for our projects!

Comments: The product serves an essential need; where in the world do I track, store, collaborate, and communicate all in the same tool?

While Samepage lacks some of the robust features some project management suites have (like time tracking) it's simply not meant for that! I can chat with my team, leave notes on something I'm working with, keep track of tasks, and organize my calendar all from Samepage. The mobile app is handy too. I can't tell you how much Samepage has cut down my reliance on email and text messages as communication with my team.

The sales, support, and training have all been very positive. I always feel as if I have the resources I need, exactly when I need them.

Comments: Samepage is appropriately named! It quite literally puts your entire team on the SAME page when dealing with projects big or small. It's great for departmental organization, file storage, project management, communication, etc. You name it - Samepage can do it! I have had the honor of rolling same page out at 3 different organizations and it's always rave reviews!

Comments: We spent a fair amount of time looking at a dozen or more "social intranet" products and services. (It's great that there are so many options available now.) Our single biggest frustration as we poked around with the various products is that, understandably, they are each designed to work for as many different types of businesses as possible. So while they all "worked" for us to some degree none were exactly what we were looking for. Many had very sophisticated features interfaces or features that we knew we would never use. We ended up with Samepage largely because it had the *least* amount of features we *didn't* need, if that makes any sense, and was priced very economically. Samepage is also very easy to use, which makes it more likely to *be* used. The developers and support staff are friendly and responsive and seem to be interested in what the users say about the product. The UX is very good, the iOS app is actually useful, and new features are added regularly, if slowly. Overall we are happy with Samepage.

Comments: This collaboration software is excellent. We've tried other project management tools and found they were too rigid for our needs. Samepage is super flexible and does a great job of keeping our entire team informed of what's going on. We love the chat feature for the small stuff, and page comments for keeping a record of progress on a project. We use it for running meetings as well, and we love the fact that multiple people can take notes on the same document at the same time.

Comments: Samepage is now our go-to place for every step of our collaboration process. We create pages for internal brainstorming sessions, content reviews, and even project deliveries to our customers. I can't believe we used to do this with email and Dropbox.

Loving the chat feature, file synchronization, and live text editing. Also love that it integrates with Dropbox for all of our older stuff.

Comments: Of all the productivity apps out there, Samepage attempts to integrate more all-round functionality... The ability to share files, comment on them and allocate tasks etc all in one place is great. It's not perfect, and there are many things they could do to improve it, but the team appear to be constantly adding features and improving it. There may be better options for each of the various elements, but we're sticking with Samepage as it incorporates great all-round functionality and has the potential to become a great tool.

Comments: I run a small business in Vancouver, BC that specializes in Personal Training services. Samepage allows communication between clients while assuring confidentiality between them, an important aspect. The synchronization of documents is foolproof. I also appreciate that the configuration can be accessed from both computers and hand held devices.

I look forward to further enhancements that will allow me to do even more with Samepage.

Comments: With Samepage we can share files, sales information, policies and procedures, across Australia. It's gives us security and communication not previously possible through a company owned and managed server.
Our sales team can share information with the admin and training teams and we are all on the "Samepage" when it comes to giving our customers excellence in service. I don't know how we managed without it before! It's now essential to our business and teams. Our teams are all across Australia so access to documents and correct information is essential to our business.

Comments: I've used it to create a page for an upcoming conference event. My board members are going to enjoy how easy it is to pull up key files, confirmations, announcements, maps, etc. They are able to save this page to their phone home screens or save the page to their bookmarks. Using samepage, I was able to create a hub for my Board to get quick access to Google drive files, Board Reports and other links we use to collaborate. They no longer have to search through their google drives or e-mails for important files as I have been providing direct links to those files to them using Samepage. However, I do wish that the "Public view" did not have the "Create your own samepage" message on the top right. It if was hidden somehow, it would look more professional and I would give Samepage 5 stars!

Comments: I researched several other products and stopped when I found Samepage. It's wicked-easy to setup and manage, the tools are very powerful, and the customer support is out of this world. You get all of this for free, and when your needs grow beyond the generous no-cost version, you can get some pro features.
I was recently appointed as a co-chair for a special interest group. All members of the group are non-paid and located all over the country. It had a landing page with a some descriptive language and a listserv to keep the members informed of what it was doing. Unfortunately, it lacked true collaboration and buy-in from the members that comprised it.
In about 1 week, I've been able to restructure the group so that Samepage is the hub. Customer support contacted me shortly after signing up and offered to give me a walkthrough. Truth be told, I was very hesitant, but accepted the invite. We were on join.me for about 30 minutes, and I realized how much stuff I didn't know. The genius part of all this is it doesn't go away after you drop off the meeting. I've been asking questions as they pop up and getting immediate, solid answers. The customer support reminds me of a personal helpdesk tech--at no charge.
The customer support takes notes about the questions you ask. Sometimes it's a system limitation and other times it's just something I didn't fully understand or didn't know. I finally asked about their notes and I was told that they pass them off to the programmers to build in new ideas and improve the processes. From time to time, you'll just see more features pop up and other features enhanced. It's very cool; simple, powerful, and sophisticated. To top it all off, they have a smartphone app that looks amazing and is very functional. That's free too.
You'll never know unless you try it. Compare it to other systems and see how it stacks up. Same page is helping me move the needle.

I have been working with samepage for 3 years and would not go back to my old way of working.

Comments: We use samepage as a core part of our systems, and extend this to external clients so they can view project plans and other documentation I want to share. It is easy use and I didn't have to worry about the service it has not let me down. I would recommend it and it keeps improving as they have just added instant messaging! We used to use a local server for data, but we needed access to data out of office and on mobile.

Comments: This tools changed the way I was working in the past. Not only can I find all the documents I need in one same place, I can also comment, add files, data and events to make information as clear as possible. You do not have to spend your times sending emails and documents to your team, they already know where to find it, and can add their works to the page as well. Which makes the work much more organised and time optimised. And we all know that time is money !

Comments: Samepage is really easy to start with and intuitive, which for my team has been a key success factor in migrating to this platform.

We used share pages with multiple partners and are progressively removing attachments to emails and rather use dedicated pages, thus keeping track of all exchanges of information. Task management is also really handy.

The only big issue remains the inability to synchronise or backup the whole account.

Comments: I found SamePage when I was looking for a way to collect together lots of information, images, links, email and documents etc for a personal project. It is so easy to use and you can put together so much really quickly with it.

They push it as a business collaboration tool - which it is and it does it really well - but once you use it for a while and realise how many other online tools you use that SamePage can do better - I'm talking about you Evernote, with your awful user interface - you will use it for everything.

If you are planning a wedding or big vacation, or want somewhere to store recipes, or medical history, it is so easy to use, and so nice having everything together in one application. It is the grand unifying application for all your data!!

Comments: My team was introduced to Samepage about a year ago. We always struggled finding a software where we can layout our marketing campaigns. Comments: Love Samepage because it works however we want it to. No rigid structures. Fantastic because we can put all different kinds of content types - from files, to images to text - along with comments, all on one page. So we can see all that we need organized in one view. Plus we don't have to go hunting through email or instant messaging to find the conversations. Everything's in one place. Whether the file sits on my desktop or in the cloud, once it goes into Samepage, I never have to worry about version control. I can even invite people from outside my company to share and collaborate on projects and they don't need an account. LOVE THIS APP!!! The only downside: I wish permissions were clearer and easier to use.

Comments: Samepage is a user-friendly way to collaborate with your team. Comments: Pros - You can quickly organize a multitude of items on a page in any layout you like and then share it with your team or clients. This includes, charts, documents, videos, screen captures, excel sheets, the list goes on and on. You can all update it in real time.

It also has built in text threads and messaging to keep everyone up to date. Looks great during presentations over the internet.

Very good for organizing marketing campaigns and all the assets needed and keeping everyone on task.

Cons - some limited formatting capabilities with its built in spreadsheet tool but perhaps that is why it is so useful and easy to use.

Comments: My marketing department uses Samepage for pretty much everything we do - content creation, campaign planning, KPI tracking, event management, content distribution (sales collateral, partner collateral) and for day to day work with our creative, content and PR agencies.

Pros:
>Simple and easy to use - create a page with files, comments, cloud content, images, video in minutes
>Can share content outside the company with vendors/consultants
>can maintain a conversation with team on specific pages (projects) alongside the content
>Free (up to 100 pages, which is a lot)
>makes working with remote workers, consultants and different offices really easy

Cons:
>We loved samepage and went through 100 pages in a few months. So you'll likely end up paying for it. But it's not expensive ($100 user/year) and it's become invaluable to our day to day work processes.
>Would like to see integrated video conferencing option
