Pros
I recently purchased Qcommission automated Commission software. It's been of great help for me, I was spending two days calculating all the commission for our Agents it was very consuming.
Since then, I simply enter my eft???s on Friday???s and the commission software will capture the commissionable income from Quickbook import it into the commission software
- It can be customized to suit your needs.
The best of all, once the commission is calculated for you it generates a commission statement for each agent and their company. Then it will export all the commission due, back into quickbook under your ???bills???, apply the bill payment and you are done. There is not double entry to be made (copying the results into Quickbooks software.
All you have to focus your energy on, is entering your eft???s when they first arrive. (Sales receipts)
I have so much time on my hands now, that I can focus more on expanding our business and recruiting.
Cons
I was a little intimidated at first with the software, I had never used any commission software before. It didn't take me long to get used to it. ( a week or two of commission processing)
Overall
This is an excellent software to work with. Made my life a lot easier. I save two days of work just by using this software.

Pros
Provides an integrative system and solutions for our commissioning purposes making the payroll process a highly automated one.
Cons
Occassional "glitches", causing multiple attempts at uploading files, delays, etc. However, our QC associate is usually quite quick to respond to problems, exlpaining why the problem occurred, and is able to fix it in due time.
Overall
Overall, I do recommend QCommissions to payroll departments. The Support Team is fabulous!

Pros
The soflware allows you to set up your commissions in various manners to track all different kinds of sales commission pay plans. It has a great system of calculation with ease of overrride.
Cons
It seems to have a lot of features in the menus that are not used in the operation of easy calculations.
Overall
I would recommend this software to anyone who has to calculate a sales commission as you will be happy.

Pros
Easy to use. Knowlegeable, professional and supportive staff. This software has many different features available for specific commission requirements. They were not fazed by any request we made and handled all in a timely, highly supportive manner. Easy to read reporting. Integrates easily with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.
Cons
None that I've seen.
Overall
Would recommend to anyone who is looking to add a custom commission software to their daily accounting software.

Thanks to Chandru and the rest of the implementation team for getting my commission needs on track in a timely matter. The entire process was very seamless starting from my intial inquiry about the product. My intial salesperson Gopi, went over all the benefits and possible drawbacks (there were few) of the service and immediatly understood my needs. I felt very little pressure in purchasing, and Gopi was very patient becuase I did call him several times with questions making sure the product was a good fit for me. Once we signed on, I didn't have to repeat my needs all over again to the implementation team. They understood everything I needed, set everything up and I know I can call them if any issues arise in the future. I was also in a time crunch to meet a deadline and they were able to come through. Thanks for getting my commissions manageable, on track and on time.

Pros
In our business we sell oil and gas related equipment and want to provide commissions based on the profitability of jobs. The commission is split between a number of outside and inside sales people depending upon the role of the sales person on the job. Commission is paid out based on the date final payment is received.
With QCommission we do some additional tracking up front for allocating commissions to the payee. When a final payment is received, the job is closed. We then import this data into QCommission. QCommission calculates the commission and allocates it to the individuals. We have certain items that are not commissionable and we add an extra calculation for shipping costs. From here, the calculations are exported to a spreadsheet that can be printed out for management and for the payees.
QCommission handles all of this complexity in a fraction of the time previously spent. It also provides us with commission reports for each payee and for management.
Cons
During the setup process we had a few glitches in setting up commissions. I was always able to get quick support to overcome these problems.
Overall
QCommission has saved us time and effort in calculating commissions. It is robust enough to handle complex allocations and calculations.

For the past three years, QCommission has been a reliable product. It has saved us countless hours of time when calculating our monthly commission runs by integrating directly to our QuickBooks files.
Cons
Would like to be able to easily create my own ad hoc customized reports. However, QC's customer service team is always quick to respond and create exactly what I need.
Overall
We highly recommend this product. Cellarstone's implementation and customer support teams are OUTSTANDING, quick to respond, and always find a resolution to our continual inquiries and changes. Thanks for being there for us!!!

QCommission has an amazing array of functionality which makes the commission calculation very easy. It handles our job profitability based commission calculation accurately. The reporting is very detailed and now the sales people get an accurate job wise statement showing their commissions.
The team is very easy to work with and is ready to help in whenever we need them. They are very good at estimates and get the work done without going over it.

Pros
This tool has been a lifesaver for our company. We have a very complicated commission structure (multiple tiers, time-based payouts, multiple plans, and more) and QCommission handles it all. Gone are the days of 20 tab cross-linked spreadsheets where one change can mean hours of recalculating, and Sales loves the new commission reports. Their customer service has also been excellent - I've been very impressed with their responsiveness and ability to stick to promises (such as the number of hours a job will take to complete).
Cons
Not the prettiest, most polished product.
Overall
There are prettier and more elegant options out there, but if are on a budget and you need something that gets the job done reliably, give QCommission a hard look - they are professional and so is their product.

Overall
QCommissions has been a great and affordable solution. We were previously using complex spreadsheets. QCommissions was a great next step for us. Implementation went well - they got us up and running and have been accommodating to our system changes. Barath - in particular - has been a vital resource to me in assisting me learn the software and make changes to accomodate our annual plan changes.

Pros
Pros include the fact that this application actually works and generates all commission reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Cons
The ability to make minor modifications to existing reports are not available to the end user without paying the development team at the cost prohibitive rate of $150 per hour. So long as it's that expensive to make changes to the canned reports, i suspect that the customers will be on the lookout for more versatile applications that are less expensive.
Overall
I quite like the application and am happy with my purchase.
