As vice president of products, Mr. Montgomery is responsible for product management of Mocana's complete product line, including its flagship platform, the Device Security Framework. His track record includes more than 20 years experience in networking and security, product strategy and acquisitions, including founding and selling his own profitable startup.
An experienced leader with special expertise in cloud services, Mr. Montgomery joins Mocana from Blue Coat Systems, a leader in web security and WAN Optimization, where he was vice president of product management for all products. Prior to joining Blue Coat, Mr. Montgomery was with Citrix Systems where he focused on introducing new products, including the Citrix XenServer server virtualization product line and the Citrix Access Gateway SSL VPN product line. Prior to Citrix, he held a number of positions at Novell, including the Director of Product Management for the ZENWorks product line. Before Novell he was the founder and CEO of Netoria, Inc, a directory services software company, acquired by Novell in 1999.
As vice president of federal systems, Mr. McNulty is responsible for increasing Mocana's presence and sales in the public sector. Mr. McNulty brings more than 25 years of high-technology experience in federal markets to Mocana. His track record includes co-founding two Silicon Valley start-ups, turning around companies to profitability, and significantly increasing market value to shareholders. Mr. McNulty served vice president of worldwide Sales at HiFn, a leader in data security, where he ran a $40 million business, and was CEO and founder of Cranite Systems, a leader in security software for wireless networks for Federal Agencies and Systems Integrators, where he successfully closed $27M in venture funding in three rounds of financing under extreme market conditions. Mr. McNulty also held positions at Microsoft, Wind River Systems and ROLM Corporation.
