Comments: We've been using RSS for 18 months and it makes a large difference to our business. All customer information is stored and reports run for scheduling engineers workloads. The customer support is great and they are very quick to resolve issues. I love that I can move screen, items and fields around to make it the best view for all staff. very user friendly. If only we could have recurrent tasks, it would be perfect!

Comments: This is our first experience in utilizing a program like this and I must say it is one of the more user-friendly programs we reviewed. Not only is the program itself easy to use but the customer support was even a bigger selling point. Between the support you receive and the follow-up web seminars that is offered this program is second to none.

I have used other CRM software and RSS is all you need, it is simple but useful and to the point.

Comments: Their Customer support is the best. I send an email and they respond quickly. I thought as a UK company, getting a response to a request would be the next day at best since I'm on the west coast. Some things are easy and I say Duh, but some are complex and you get the same excellent service. It is easy to do marketing campaigns, it is easy to change fields and add drop downs. You should think things out before moving forward but know that you can change a field. The flexibility is great. And there is also online help, videos, and webinars. It is simple to use and understand.

Recommendations to other buyers: Compare cost and what you actually need in a CRM and you will find this is the best product for you.

Comments: We looked at other CRM systems but chose RSS because it appeared to be a simpler, easier way to start up and expand to additional features and far less expensive. We have not been disappointed. The system is more than enough for our needs. I would recommend anyone looking to install CRM look carefully at RSS.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you can't install your CRM without outside help, it's probably too complicated to maintain. RSS was easy to install and intuitive to use. Staff able to begin to use it right from the get go.

Comments: From ease of customizing, to having a full email marketing platform built into their CRM, Really Simple Systems ("RSS") is hands-down the best CRM I have used. Any of the slight nuances that I would like to see addressed, they are already planning for in their next update. We reviewed 4 different CRMs and went with RSS primarily because of the built-in email marketing platform. Also, we have been really impressed with their customer service response time and availability especially given the fact we are in Florida and they are in the UK. Great job, RSS!

Comments: I own a small business operating in a very niche market and use the CRM to track my interactions with wholesale customers. I looked at some other apps when starting out and found that most of them were overkill for my small operation. RSS is reasonably intuitive for me to use and the mailsync option has saved me a lot of time spent going back through old email chains. I don't use the reports as much as I feel I could, as I haven't yet had a chance to set them up in a customized way to be truly useful to my processes.

The one thing that I would love to be able to do is to somehow link my task list to Asana, as I track all my other business-related tasks and projects there. It would be wonderful to have them all in the same place...

Comments: Very simple costing structure and scale-able. Easy to start with the free version to try it out and upgrade as necessary. For some users could see how the free version might be enough. The system in generally fairly intuitive to use and replaces BCM well. Have used the customer support a couple of times and they have been very quick to reply and very helpful. Encountered a couple of limitations with the reporting but by no means a show stopper. Biggest down for us is the inability to add activities/notes on an opportunity basis. This can only be done at an account level.

Comments: My company is new to using RSS, and enjoy the minimal style of the system.
There are frequent helpful webinars that you can attend to learn more about additional functionality, we have been told who our customer service advisor is (though have not yet had to ask them any questions).
There are a few things, such as the lack of automatic saving of contacts whilst typing, that mean the system can take a little while to get used to, but we look forward to learning more about what it is and what it can do.

Comments: every day look forward to the daily quote it makes me smile would like to do more on the system but not my decision all staff need to use fully to make it work as it should but on the whole easy to use to log on is a pain in the bottom as keeps logging you out should be able to stay in all day would make it better to use

Comments: We don't use the system for sales which has made the implementation process difficult. However with the incredibly helpful support team we have been able to modify the system to suit our needs. Support almost always get back to you on the same day and often go above and beyond what we would expect. The system is extremely flexible and we have been able to successfully make it suit our needs. It is now an integral part of our daily routine and makes everyone's working lives easier.

Comments: I used a free version and a paid version, and find both very easy to use.
I loved the way the system can be tailored to your own requirements, and being online it is accessible from anywhere. The mobile version is not as easy to use as the desktop, but you do have that functionality.

Comments: RSS is great. It offers pretty much everything you could want from a CRM tool, if slightly clunky at times. From what I could tell at the release of the new version, it seems like a lot has been improved and may issues have been resolved. The customer service and support is really second to none. Comments: I started off needing a very simple system that effectively listed my client names and as my business grew I wanted more and more functionality from the system. RSS has always been able to support my needs, offering an excellent email integration function and a brilliant email marketing module to name just a couple! Comments: This CRM does what it says on the tin, it truly is really simple to use. It is a very intuitive system which is backed by outstanding customer support. On occasion you will notice it lacks a feature, but the team work tirelessly to develop work arounds which are always noted and taken into consideration in future upgrades. I would definitely recommend RSS to other marketers looking for a CRM that is versatile and easy to manage.

Comments: I have used this system for close on 10 years. When I took up my current position 5 years ago I installed the system as there was no CRM system in place. I find it the simplest most effective sales tracking system I have used in my 30 years in sales and sales management. We have numerous sales outlets across the country controlled from a main sales office and I am able to report effectively on sales performance across the business with minimal effort. The reliability of the system is first rate I have experienced very few occasions when I have not been able to access the system from various locations including on mobile phone/tablet devices.

Comments: I love how you can really make the CRM work for you by customising fields. Any issues i've had have always been dealt with in the same day in a quick and efficient manner.
If you are looking for something that you can tweak to really help your business that is also great value for money this is the CRM for you!

Comments: Starting on the system was a bit intimidating but after messing around with the program, looking at you tube vids and contacting their support I have my sales team of 8 on the system working within 2 weeks

Comments: After being a bit overwhelmed by a number of different CRMs out there, I was determined to find something very basic with A) a limited amount of fields (but enough to do the job), B) affordability, C) excellent support and D) ease of use on mobile. Really Simple Systems has delivered on all counts- and then some.
I sent an email to support mentioning that, although I love the software, I had two things on my "wish list" for their next update. I sent that request on a Tuesday morning. I received a reply within an hour (!) telling me they think they could accommodate me on both fronts. By Wednesday morning, BOTH of my requests had been incorporated into the software. Yes. You read that right. 24 hours later! I was blown away as these two enhancements continue to save me time and money on a daily basis. My advice for anyone is to try Really Simple Systems for a month or two to get a taste of how easy it is to use and how amazing the support team is. This is a game changer for small business owners like myself.

Comments: We needed an easy to use CRM system which got straight to the point without having - and paying for - all the unnecessary (for us) features and functions. The ability to customise the layout and headings etc. made it feel more like a custom-made solution.

Comments: As a micro business owner, I have to do everything from developing to sales and marketing, and I suspect like many geek-run businesses like mine, I love the first part and loathe the latter.

I'd found a few tools that do a limited number of things very well and help my business in other ways, like Trello, Toggl, gmail and so on, but I was struggling to find a CRM equivalent.
I'd tried a few SAAS cloud solutions that would have been overpriced, and I tried installing a couple of open source solutions like SuiteCRM which proved to be way over the top and bloated for my needs.

Finally I hit upon RSS CRM and we were the perfect match.

I went to their first user conference earlier in 2016, and what impressed me greatly was not only how good and enthusiastic the CEO and his staff were, but also the other customers.
I'd already experienced support via both phone and email (even though I was on the free plan at the time), and it was nice to actually meet the team for real, and know that they aren't outsourced from some sweatshop in a distant place. It's a UK company with a "proper" UK phone number, although there are support offices in other countries too, to account for the timezones which is good.

Recommendations to other buyers: Just give it a try before you mess about installing things like SuiteCRM and waste hours like I did!

Comments: We represent a number of SME's in a BD, Sales & Support capacity and were becoming overwhelmed with trying to manage various contact databases. RSS CRM is not only extremely competitively priced, it allows us to manage all our systems under one roof. To date it has worked perfectly and i'm yet to find a drawback!

Comments: Good simple system and support. Marketing module complicated and needs more work. Lacks many of the basic features in many other CRM's. OK for small businesses but not scalable as business grows

Recommendations to other buyers: Great shame you do not offer a proper 1/2 day payable training service as I would have paid for that to make the system work as we want it to do. You are losing revenue due to this and we are having to review other systems as we cannot get the marketing module to work.

Comments: I never imgaine how easy your sofware would be. I have tried a number of different ones. This seems to give me more the dge on how simple it can be. Even my team found it enjoyable and amamzed how easy it was too. The system is not over technical easy to follow and digest. So yes great experience

Recommendations to other buyers: Having a CRM does not have to be so complicated as some make them. I agree if you require extra features to deliver then there is a cost to it. It is set up and sofware friendly. And well worth the money too

Comments: RSS is a system to grow with. You can start small and tailor it to your needs, then as your company grows, your CRM will grow with you. It's a nice system that I enjoy using with a few little additional features that help with the extras in the role. I would recommend this to any small-medium company.

Comments: We have used Really Simple Systems CRM for over 8 years and found it to be a stable, effective system. Since the email templates for email campaigns have been updated these have been a lot easier to use. The support staff are always really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely continue using the Really Simple Systems CRM for our business.

Comments: Versatile product that can be customised, which we have done to some degree but will need to do even further. Very good customer service in this regard.
Does what it says on the tin, providing with a basic CRM system.
We would generally need more training to fully be able to utilise the features offered, ideally as stored training sessions/manuals we can refer back to. So far the webinars have been good, but not comprehensive and also not addressing issues we may have at a later date.
For a company like ours, selling a professional service, where every product the client buys is tailored and much of our sales is ongoing collaboration, (rather than one-off sales) we have also found that the Opportunities page doesn't reflect this way of selling - it would also be useful to be able to log future sales per month or per year.

Comments: Really simple systems offers a easy to use basic CRM which was a good solution for us as we moved away from multiple spreadsheet management to a single point of customer data. We were able to quickly implement the system it provides a simple single point to upload and update customer account data. RSS is constantly striving to improve and are quick to look into any enquiries or requests we have made and have implemented several of our suggestions to improve the system.

The customer support team have always been friendly and helpful and always provided a solution to our queries.

Overall I think the system is a good value for money, easy to use and well supported by customer service team.

Comments: we love this system. It is incredibly easy to use, to personalise and to create the reports that we need to keep control of the business.

But better still the staff at RSS have been massively helpful in customising our system in certain instances which involved changes to the program.

I have never experienced the quality and depth of service that RSS give us and all the staff seem to reflect that ethos. We find the IT team to be wonderfully polite, patient and helpful.
I cannot speak highly enough of this company

The search facility is only really effective if the syntax is exactly as recorded on the system but this is only a very minor gripe.

Broadly lives up to its name! Not without its flaws, but as a starter system for dummies, it's neat!

Cons: Analysis dashboards in email marketing module are inconsistent - this needs development. Email marketing templates are v. inflexible. True - they are 'really simple' to use, but they also look 'really simple'.

Comments: We have been using Really Simple Systems for some years now and we don't regret it. The system is intuitive and easy to use, and we enjoy having both sales and marketing tools all in one place. The customer service is excellent; everyone is very helpful and quick to solve any issues we might have. Comments: We had to wipe our entire database and re-upload it. Instead of traipsing through the entire site to try and find a solution to our problem we wrote a quick message and the staff helped us all the way.

Comments: We have been using RSS for many years now and it has proved to be an excellent piece of software.
Not only are we able to customise and grow the system as much as we need from the comfort of our office but the support staff have been on hand to help us with changes as and when we have needed them.
RSS have spent time over the years developing the system to improve its functionality as well as adding in extra elements to help us support the work we do in managing our sales activity.

I would certainly recommend this system for any sme business

Comments: I have used a number of CRM systems & the biggest compliment that I can give "Really Simple Systems" is that theirs is nice & easy to use. Which as any sales person will tell you that is what you require most from a CRM system. You have enough on your plate that when you sit down to do your tasks you want to complete them as efficiently as possible.

In the report section you will find an option for User.Salutation or Contact.Salutation depending on what you are reporting on. This will include the title of the contact in your report. The support and customer service is very prompt and helpful and the CRM system is also fairly quick and easy to learn.

Comments: I really like the CRM system as it has proved invaluable if a little complicated on the reporting side. I do have a gripe regarding the newsletter marketing tool as it is very much behind the times and the best one looks like a newsletter I used 5 years ago.

Please make it so that it has less problems with text not working correctly, image sizing issues and layout/template looking too old. We used Mailchimp previously which looked so much better and provided much better functionality. I know it doesn't provide a full data CRM package but having one great package with one substandard package is letting you down!

Comments: This is just as the title suggests - A really simple system! Easy to navigate and can do most of the things that we need it to, offering reports and statistics. All this at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to anyone about to use a CRM system for the first time. You will wonder how you ever managed without it!

Comments: We started working with RSS this summer & have been happy with our choice. Its easy to use, support is of a high level, they have an API allowing us to bake RSS into our processes to get more efficient. And we can run CRM, Sales/Marketing & Support via RSS meaning our entire customer facing team is working off one product. RSS makes life easier for us.

Comments: We have been using Really Simple Systems CRM for just under two years. Prior to that we had a bespoke online database. Although it took a little while to get used to free support (!) and to readjust the way we work with our new crm, we now really love it! The best thing is that after having to pay for every amendment, upgrades to the system are included in the price. I find the support team helpful and responsive and I would recommend them. We enjoy having an eshot system integrated into the database and although that was one of the advantages which has taken us longer to intergrate, we are now enjoying all its new features and hope to be using this from now on. It is a great system which is simple to use and yet ticks all the boxes.

Comments: RSS is a great marketing tool for small businesses and startups. The software is focussed on gaining contacts and engaging with them, turning them into prospects and potential customers.

There have been great strides in improving the software this last couple of years with an overhaul of the email marketing and reporting.

Reporting could do with a little more work though, the output is generally not useful until it's feed into a spreadsheet programme to generate meaningful data.

You can set up custom fields for accounts and contacts which is very useful. Utilising lookup tables, you can get fine-tuned data in there.

However, there is little facility for going beyond this. Trying to handle events and products in the software is beyond its capabilities and becomes a chore if this is important to your business. Also, it's difficult to create a nurturing campaign to work with good prospects. Automated campaigns conflict with direct mailings and as such are risky to use.

As a straight-up marketing tool it is great. As a client / customer management tool it could do better.

Comments: We switched to Really Simple Systems from Salesforce because it aligned with our needs more closely in terms of cost, service and adaptability.

My personal experience with the support team has been amazing and surpasses all my experiences with Salesforce.

Highly recommended. We use it to manage our niche offshore financial advisory practice and have found that it meets 95% of our needs 100% of the time.

Comments: I spoke with a rep via the live chat feature about mailsync integration. Not only did I buy the service but John did an account review and found that I was paying for an unused feature. He not only suggested I turn it off but he put the credit towards my upgrade to mailsync! I'll be a customer as long as I am in business development!!!

Comments: We're using the system to try and centralise our 20+ regional sales people and have found the system easy to use and great value. We had to make a few tweaks to suit our business and found the team responded quickly and nothing has been too much for them - so far!

Comments: Time and time again Chris and the team have gone out of the way (and sometimes far beyond what would be expected) to look after us. It has been very easy for us to scale up and expand a lot of our work in the system, and we are in the process of simplifying a lot of the workload for our teams by integrating it with other software. Being able to bulk import data is great for an organisation as large as ours, and would happily recommend it to companies both big and small!

Comments: As a medium winery selling to a lot of wholesale accounts this system works for us very well.
We've just updated to Premium so that we can add more accounts. We like the simplicity , straight forward updating process and the ease of access.
Haven't had any need for actual customer service as the system is simple and easy to work out
I'd recommend to any business selling to repeat customers

Comments: As a not-for-profit community project, we are always looking for sponsors and supporters. Really Simple Systems when approached did not hesitate to support us. Their CRM product does exactly what we want. CRM has been really easy to implement, everyone in our small project uses it. Not only is it simple to use, but importing data is a doddle. They have thought very carefully about how to assist users of CRM make best use of their system. Our latest request for support was again responded to without hesitation, and now our blind founder of the project can input data into the CRM system. I highly recommend Really Simple Systems as both a provider of an excellent product and responsive after-sales support service.

Comments: We have an electrical contracting business and keeping up with all our contracts was increasingly difficult. Without a CRM to keep up we could not possibly offer a great customer service or grow any further. The prices of CRM's available are ridiculous, except for Really Simple Systems Web CRM. It offers all the functionality of a more expensive CRM at a very reasonable price. I had a couple of issues when I started and all it took was a phone call to get it fixed. I even got to speak with someone from Australia. The reports are easy to manipulate and the tasks function helps to stay organised. Any data base system is only as good as the information you enter so you need to be prepared to spend the time to ensure that the information is accurate but they do have a free version that works just as well so I would be trying that one first. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Comments: New to Really Simple Systems, but I once owned an online software service for over 10 years and without hesitation my experience with the support at Real Simple Systems is what my company strived to provide ourselves.

Fantastic support all the way up to Mr. John Patterson himself. Something that I did not receive from 3 years with both Salesforce and Goldmine.

I am enjoying the learning curve and look forward to seeing more features as this company expands.
