Comments:

I think this program is a lifesaver but I'm always on the go. The JR email system only makes sense for big studios that have a secretary. I own MAX Dance Pro, dance in RED Dance Company, and teach two courses at University of Mount Union. .... when I try to send an email I'm usually driving and I find my self in another lane of the highway.

Instead, I have asked my clients to join Facebook. It is easier to log on (via memory of the app/fingerprint) to tell them what is going on in the studio. Plus, new parents can ask questions and receive a response from older studio parents within the post I created. This feature saves me hours of response time.

Aside from the above, I think your program is wonderful when it comes to online payments and keeping track of account balances. Those two things are a life saver.

Pros: The customer service and the fact I can be anywhere in the world and be able to access my business information!

Cons: The only con I can think of is the charge per active student. I would rather it be a charge per active family instead. By student, we are being charged for every child in a single family.

Overall: We joined Jackrabbit Dance in September of 2005 and are still completely satisfied with their service! Jackrabbit Dance has changed a lot since 2005 and so have we! With all of the upgrades each year by Jackrabbit Dance, we have not had a need to look at other software to meet our needs and run our school. Love their customer service! Especially love that the manual is online and training to run the great features is easily accessible.

Recommendations to other buyers: More options for those that run multiple programs. For instance, we run dance, gymnastics, acrobatics,aerial silks, music, art, cheer, camps, swimming (seasonal) and an after school program. We are also looking at adding daycare. But thankfully we have been able to figure out some "work arounds" that meet our needs.

Pros: Ease of event enrollment

Cons: I wish the recital features were a little easier and that it was a little easier to get links for separate events...maybe an auto generate

Overall: We have had nothing but good experiences with Jackrabbit. The customer service team is helpful and they take all the ideas they can get from their customers. There are so many features and I am so thankful this has made running our gymnastics school so much smoother!! Online enrollment is where it is at for us

Pros: Billing and automatic payments are the best.

Cons: Not knowing how to use it to its fullest potential. I am never able to make a conference when it comes around as I am usually teaching.

Overall: Jackrabbit has really help me streamline my business. I was wasting hours collecting money and answering emails with questions parents can now find for themselves. In the beginning, it was harder to transfer for year to year however. For instance, I didn't know ahead of time the second year that you could delete the old costume measurements for us until we had already begun importing new ones. Last year was the first year I used the skills tab, so I had the same issue there as well. It would really help if there was some kind of end of year checklist to clear out the old and get ready for the new.

Recommendations to other buyers: As I mentioned before, an end of year checklist would be super helpful! Things like, deleting old measurements, old skill levels(I use this to recommend fall classes)

Cons: I wish that autopay ran automatically with zero interaction without me having to click "go" once a month.

Overall: I have used this software going on 5 years and I couldn't imagine running my business without it. Keeping customer accounts up to date, accessible by clients and organized is so key. Online registration and customer interface that doesn't require you to teach clients how to use is so valuable. The added value of things like online employee timeclock, attendance for members, mini Cramm, and apparel tracking/ordering lets you save $ from other things. Pricing adjusts with the size of your business. I love this software

Cons: It doesn't prorate tuition automatically when kids enroll mid month.

Overall: I have been using Jackrabbit since 2012. They are constantly updating and making changes for the better. The customer support is great. Since using Jackrabbit my office is way more simplified. They allow you to post classes for online registration and take payments out automatically. I would highly recommend this program to anyone needing client management.

Comments: I am a co-owner of a small cheer/Dance/gymnastics gym 150-190 students depending on season. I am mostly the business side of the gym. I have a business/accounting degree. Before Jackrabbit we were keeping track of our payments on a gymnastics specific software(extremely old) program. This was not an online system and could only be accessed from my desktop computer. We took credit card payments thru QuickBooks. It was extremely time consuming to transfer information, payments and to invoice via mail.
I researched both I class pro and jackrabbit extensively. I found that Iclass pro purchased the company that created the software I had been using. For our company Jackrabbit was the best fit.
I was a little apprehensive about getting started but working with the support staff made the transition much easier. I attended a class after about 6 months of using it and that helped me to utilize even more of the facets of this great software. I got ideas from other users that I could take back and use.
When we first announced that our clientele could pay on line the response was mixed. I knew it would be easier for me but had hoped this would be a valuable tool for families as well. We are starting in our third year and most cheer families are totally invested while 50 % of the gymnastics side still pay by check or cash. We do not force them to the online pay as we want them to be comfortable about the process. We are located in a rural area and there are several families that do not have internet.
A few of my favorite features are on line statement and email capability. We have 3 separate components to our gym so it makes it easy to contact one without contacting the others.
I do not invoice a family unless they are late. With Jackrabbit I have had to send very few invoices as our outstanding accounts receivables have gone way down. Our cheer side ( they have 2 accounts each) was generally my problem group. Since we've gone to online pay capability our receivables have become very manageable. 98% of my cheer families pay on line which helps tremendously.
We have just finished our cheer season and out of 68 cheerleaders only one family has an outstanding balance. Best cheer season in the 20 years.
If you are looking for a product to make life easier and your business more productive and manageable this product is it.

Overall: Wonderful software- I've been using for three years- never had a problem with support and my customers love the ease and flexibility it provides- no more chasing someone down for a payment!!! It's the best!!! Keeps me organized with a click of a button - it's wonderful to be able to access anywhere- long car rides are never downtime anymore!

Overall: As I have discussed with many individuals there, I feel that the software is almost too much for the average user. The interface has a "developer" feel, v.s. a "user" feel. Sometimes less is more. Some of the steps that we have to go through are repetitive. For example, on the payment screen, when recording a payment, you need to select a SubType. This forces us to either record the payment split into the correct subtypes, or record it a 1 subtype. In either scenario, it creates more work for us to ensure that our record keeping is accurate.

Recommendations to other buyers: I am more than happy to work with anyone at Jackrabbit to help streamline some of these processes. With over 20 years in sales management, I am very comfortable with databases of all kinds and have a background that makes my usage unique from your regular "dancer who owns a studio".

Pros: How easy it is to use and they're constantly improving the software.

Cons: Haven't honestly found one yet.

Overall: I started using Jackrabbit about 4-5yrs ago and little did I know at the time at I would end up running the company for the owner. It was so easy to learn all the different features and they're constantly updating with improvements with step by step explanations of the new features. Updates don't ecer effect you using the software and Tech support is amazing!

Pros: All of my family and transaction information is in one place.

Cons: I can't copy and paste pictures into the emails. And I haven't found a way to easily delete more than one transaction at a time from the transaction page.

Overall: I looked at Jackrabbit 3 times before I actually took the plunge and abandoned it each time because I couldn't figure it out. The learning curve is pretty steep but the jump start class helped tremendously.

Recommendations to other buyers: I thought this system wouldn't work for me but I got tired of using excel spreadsheets. The jumpstart call made all of t he difference. Now I can't imagine using anything else.

Pros: -Customization options to suit our business as it grows
-integration options into our studio website
-CUSTOMER SERVICE any time we need it. (sometimes on holidays/weekends when they aren't supposed to be working!)
-Options for tracking both families and staff
-The new Staff Portal is great, we're excited to implement it in the new season.
-We love the fact that Jackrabbit is constantly growing and improving.
There's more! Lots more!

Cons: -No automatic payments from a bank account for Canadian customers (for us to pay our monthly fees to Jackrabbit) Overall: We started with Jackrabbit over 4 years ago. I was brand new to our dance studio and the system was still on a "trial" version. As a new faculty member I knew from the trial that the software was going to take us in the right direction as our studio grew more each season.
In the beginning we started using the most basic features and each year we learn and add more - kindof the way our business grows.
For us, the absolute most-important feature that makes us continue to stay with Jackrabbit over any other software/company/etc is the customer service. We can get help to some of our toughest (and silliest) questions so quickly via email, phone or the Jackrabbit Facebook Community. It really is above and beyond any other company we've dealt with. <3

Recommendations to other buyers: The first time a logged on to Jackrabbit it was overwhelmed. I thought there was no way I could learn it all. But the resources & customer support made it really easy to learn. I'm so glad I didnt go to a more "basic" system to suit our business in the early stages. It would have made the transition to Jackrabbit so much more overwhelming now that we've grown.

Pros: Keeps track of all the information we need for each family. Let us move inactive students to lead file. Online attendance and staff communication. Easy ways to accept payments.

Cons: Not enough flexibility in reporting. Grades don't upgrade automatically. Limited room for note taking and the notes are "hidden" in tabs that are not seen at first. Not enough flexibility with levels/skills. Having to use Dropbox for attachments.

Overall: As we've added new staff there has been a bit of learning curve but we are starting to feel like we are really using the software the best we can. The latest releases have really been great. We are loving the staff portal and look forward to more additions like it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Really need to have the ability to assign levels/skills by class type (Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, etc.) as students can have different levels. Would like to see levels rather than skills as not all studio tracks through skill, testing, or competition skills/levels. Let us attach items without dropbox. Assign individual emails to studio rather than noreply based to help avoid emails being tagged as spam.

Pros: VERY user friendly. I'm very computer literate so it was a snap learning it but teaching it to folks NOT so literate, is easy. The BEST customer service from any company I've ever dealt with. Hands down. Constant updates, improvements and we the customers are listened to and the software changes and additions are created according to greatest need. Some of the best help documentation I've seen too. The training they offer both live and virtual is excellent.

Cons: There are features I wish it would have, like mass record updates or some more flexibility with report design but I feel like we will get those eventually. Nothing can cover every situation so just make sure if something essential is missing that you need that you have the JR folks talk you through it.

Overall: After 15 years as the sole office personnel in a small non profit that grew somehow from 3 personnel to over 45 I had to be dragged kicking and screaming to change. First, the updated Website. Ok, I can do that. Oh. You want a CART? To be able to register ON LINE? Wait...that means taking CREDIT CARDS? Are you mad? People have been writing checks for 20 years quite happily thank you. Oh...you LIKE signing your kids up in the middle of the night which is when you can get to it? You think everyone is like that? Pshh. Kids these days. Ok, FINE. Sparing you the details of my angst and how much research I did, after changing over everything for a big company that LOOKED like it would suit us...but didn't as a last ditch effort before utter despair, my boss's sister recommended JackRabbit.
I made someone else do the transition, I couldn't bear doing it twice. My problems were not lack of computer skills, my problems were that we have developed a very boutique style business and every system to handle every diverse aspect of what we do, I built from the ground up. My data base could roll over, sit up and just about any trick. Getting JR to do all that wasn't possible BUT it is ALMOST flexible enough to do everything I need which is awesome. There are still things I could do faster the old way BUT....here is what I love about JR. They listen.
ALL our businesses are totally different in the minutia but we ALL need clients, we need them to register, pay and service them. JR makes all that possible and for as many formats as possible. They are constantly adding things we ask for. I love that and it makes the pain of not being able to push a button and have all the forms I want the way I want them, bearable. I've learned to start bending around JR instead of the other way and it is a natural progression because the software is so flexible and user friendly.
Change sucks. No one likes it but if you are going to do it, do it with a company that is servicing at least 75% or more of your needs, is big enough to have the resources for R&D and small enough to be agile to implement that R&D.

Recommendations to other buyers: Setting up on line registration is SO worth it. That was the one feature I fought hardest and now I find myself with THREEEEEEE checks to process for 6 summer camps. I used to be 2 days processing hundreds of checks. I LOVE the online registration and payment. For all the other issues I have to work around, those alone save me more time than I spend doing any work arounds. READ the manuals, watch the videos, use the training. This software does so much, you don't even know what is available to use until you really explore.

Pros: Ease of use, Customer service, auto pay, recital module, staff portal, training videos, online registration.

Overall: I have been with Jackrabbit since 2008 and have been very happy. I love that they are constantly updating their system based on our feedback. Many suggestions I have made have been updated. My favorite thing is auto pay! They also have an awesome new staff portal which will make payroll so much easier as well as attendance. It is pretty easy to figure out by just playing with it, however their customer service is wonderful! Any time I can't figure something out I can chat online with a service representative, or email in a question. I always recommend Jackrabbit to anyone I talk to about studio software! They also have training sessions periodically through out the year that are very helpful to new users, and I even learn a few things after being with them for so long.

Pros: We have discovered that the customer convenience factor has been key. Online registration and customer portal have made parents very happy. The customer portal has been in use for a few years and we are now spending very little time answering questions because parents are now logging in more and more. Huge time saver!

Cons: We will be setting up the staff portal over the next fee months and I would love for my staff to be able to input dancer measurements through the portal. We will have to come up with a new procedure for this. Maybe it's coming?

Overall: Snap has been utilizing JackRabbit for a few dance seasons. We have done it gradually and continue to use more and more of it's capabilities. Our experience has shown us that anytime our administrative team 'goes for it', we end up loving the software more! Online registration for our 2015/16 season has been going smoothly and customers love all the conveniences.

Recommendations to other buyers: I have found the tutorials to be a huge help since we did not attend any training sessions. I printed out any relevant tutorials and worked through them making notes as I went along. It gave me confidence on how to initiate any 'unknowns'!

Comments: We have a lot of drop-in classes. I believe we are not only dance studio which has drop-in classes. Jackrabbit doesn't allow to manage those classes as "classes", only as events. Second, there are very limited tools to bring information from the Jackrabbit to your website. Not even a calendar. Third, If you want class which runs in 8 week sessions (as most of our classes) you will need to create as many classes as you have sessions. Plus as many as you have different times. Plus separate classes for drop-in / trials if you want to collect fees... (there is no way to set a fee for a trial class). So, if you have 10 different classes running at 2 different times in 4 sessions plus paid trial classes, be ready to create about 100 classes. That doesn't work for us.
Most reviews have no any specifics, don't think it is done by real users.

Comments: Our studio went from paper to on-line registration seamlessly. We told the staff to sit by the phones to make sure we took phone calls from parents who were irritated by the change or by having to go on line. WOW, not one complaint! Not to mention, our admin work was cut by 3/4! wow. 6 years later, I don't know how we ever did business without Jackrabbit!

Comments: I am a former Compudance user and making the switch to Jackrabbit was a huge adjustment, but after a few months I am so happy with the program and wishing I would have made the change a long time ago! It took a few months to really learn the software and feel comfortable using it. The free trial was great and they even extended it for me so we could continue to learn. The help button is incredibly useful as well. I highly recommend Jackrabbit!

Comments: Jackrabbit has been with us since our opening in 2009 so we have been using it for almost 6 years and we have loved it. We have never had any trouble with Jackrabbit and the features are GREAT! There are many options from running reports, sending statements and registering for classes with just the click of a button. The interface is very user friendly and the home screen gives an overview of revenue and lets you compare to the previous year. There are so many great features I could go on and on. My director and I have had a great experience using this product over the years. Also we have attended a few trainings which are very helpful for new and even existing users. They are always adding new features and innovating. Make sure you send them ideas to add new features. Hopefully they will come out with an application for iPhone and Android soon so that teachers can easily take roll from a tablet or smartphone.

I would give 6 stars if I could....

Comments: Jackrabbit Dance makes things so simple. The workshop we attended was extremely helpful and very organized. We have only had a few technical issues and they were resolved immediately. This past summer our studio suffered a huge loss when our trailer full of custom made props was stolen from our studio parking lot. Jackrabbit heard about it through Facebook and they reached out to us like we were family. We were humbled and very grateful. I highly recommend Jackrabbit. Their customer service is stellar, the interface is very easy to use and the parent portal is a great tool!

Comments: Our dance studio started using Jack Rabbit Dance about 3 years ago. We were previously using Quick Books and Excel as a database. It allowed us to transition to on-line registration, and has made tuition posting and payment collection very easy. Overall, the product is powerful and easy to use. Although the customer service associates get back in a timely manner, I do wish that there was live customer service number. Sometimes it is difficult to describe an issue that you are having in text, and much easier to show for someone via talking things through.

Comments: We LOVE JR at Miller Street! The layout is very user friendly and makes sense. It did not take me long at all to get used to this program. Now granted, I've worked with similar software before so I had a little advantage, but nothing like this. Other programs I have used are archaic and limit The program is updated regularly and you are notified of any changes on the home screen when you first log in. You can even email suggestions for updates and if they get enough people requesting a certain update, they actually do it. Their tech support gets right back to you with any of your questions/issues via email with detailed instructions. So nice that this program is online so if you need to work from home, you can! The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars for ease of use is because it can be tricky sometimes to get a report of exactly what you need. You might have to try a few times before you get it right. You really have to pay attention to the different fields given in the advanced search. Otherwise, it's great!

Comments: Being a tech savvy shopper, I spent months checking out all the new software programs that were available to Dance Studios before I opened my studio. I avoided many who did not seem to have all the features that I required. When I finally decided on a program (not JR) I spent 3 months working with the specialist to make it into the program I was looking for, losing valuable time. So I 86ed the program and called Jack Rabbit. A specialist came to my studio and got me started. She was patient and knowledgeable and gave me tips and notes. After a few months of using the product, I went to the user conference to further my understanding. They even allow you to make suggestions!! Who does that??? The program can handle everything from monthly maintenance, one-click EMail templates, collecting tuition, attendance, calendar, special event registrations, costume management, retail operations, team fees, staff organization and so much more. I am constantly learning new things that this webware provides and I have never looked back at another platform. I have seen iClass, Dance Studio Management and all the others. NONE of them compare to JackRabbit. Not even close!

There many improvements and upgrades over the years that makes Jackrabbit a standout in class management software. Customer service is friendly, helpful and they do not give up in finding an answer to your questions. Comments: Program was easy to learn as a new staff member to the studio. I was able to jump right in and navigate my way into the classes, registration and tuition posting.
Staff is very attentive and my submitted questions were answered the very next business day.
As a growing studio, we looked into transitioning into new programs, but realized we just needed an "Optimized Training" session in order for someone to help tailor our Jackrabbit program to our specific class needs.
Jackrabbit was so attentive to our needs as a long standing customer. Definitely recommended for any Dance Center.

Comments: Jackrabbit Dance is something I use on practically a daily basis, and I love it! For me, getting used to it was a little tricky, but it honestly did not take long at all. The features make it wonderful - some of the ones that I enjoy are being able to send emails and using the store to keep track of inventory. My absolute favorite feature is being able to write notes and tasks for co-workers to see when they log in. Response time for questions has been quick every time we submit an inquiry. Triple Threat has been with Jackrabbit since the beginning, and we are continually learning new features and enjoying them. I would recommend it to anyone!

Comments: I have been using Jackrabbit for 2 years and it has helped me save money on managerial work, which in turn keeps my tuition down to make dance classes more affordable. I love the ease of being able to use the software anywhere and anytime! If I run into a question support is always there to help! Comments: Jackrabbit has given the opportunity for our registration process to go completely paperless.

After many years of using reams upon reams of paper for registration 3 times a year, we made the switch last summer. Change is never easy, however we now look back and wonder what we did before Jackrabbit. Our processes are much clearer, customers can fill out the registration form anywhere and anytime (and only once), enrollment sheets are up to date, transactions are recorded and cross checked with our Quickbooks software and teachers can record their time from anywhere (not to mention payroll can be completed remotely). Record keeping and reporting is much easier than ever. As with anything, there are always areas of improvement and development of usability, but with Jackrabbit always open to suggestions we have already seen some of this happen in the last year.

Comments: When I joined this studio as a parent, the owner was barely using this product. As I began to work with the owner, I saw the potential of what JackRabbit had to offer. But we were only two people trying to manage a fast growing studio. When we tripled our location space, JackRabbit grew with us and as we added staff, we have been able to utilize so much more of what JackRabbit offers! I've been very happy with the Costume and Recital modules - and actually look forward to having the ability to properly manage costuming for multiple studio recitals and the costuming for our Performing Company and new Ballet Co. JackRabbit does it all!

Comments: We did an extensive review of software prior to migrating our data to the JackRabbit platform, and this product is heads above the rest. It is fairly intuitive to learn and very customizable, and the support both online and through customer service is fantastic. I love that I can watch a video or look up an in-depth tutorial for just about any question I have. Sure, there are little quirks here and there, but improvements are only an ask away. The team at JackRabbit is very responsive to customer-recommended improvements. Ultimately, in addition to offering a great product, it was JackRabbit's customer-driven model of doing business that won us over.

Comments: I am so happy that we made the decision to go with Jackrabbit Dance. I looked at many different types of studio management and tried several free trials. I found Jackrabbit to be very user friendly ... even for an "older" studio owner like me, who is not as tech savvy as the younger generations. I admit that there WAS a learning curve and I had to want to learn it, but once I got over being scared about it I found that it is really EASY! And logical. And when I do run into a problem (mine - not Jackrabbits) the customer service people are absolutely wonderful and every issue I have ever thought I had turned out to me nothing more than me needing a little more education. I love how easy it is to customize my settings and make it fully accessible for my business needs. Website integration is easy to set up. Comments: We have been using Jackrabbit for over 7 years now and we keep finding new things to utilize for our dance program and studio. Whenever we need help, our questions are answered promptly and thoroughly. Now that the times have gone more virtual and less paperwork, we are utilizing their features even more. The only thing I would change is that there is TOO much information on the dashboard homepage. I just would want them to make it look easier on the eye and easier to read.

Comments: This technology is really user friendly and easy to navigate. I have trouble running certain reports, but I think that is because I need more training in that area. Tech support is very prompt and helpful. They are very knowledgable and have given me some great solutions to different problems I've had. I don't like the way things appear when printed with the exception of class roll sheets. A lot of times it is not easy to read and is very small and cramped together. True I could export to an excel sheet, but then I would need to still adjust font size and column/row size. Still a great program and I appreciate how jack rabbit is always open to suggestions and is constantly making improvements. Thank you!

Comments: We switched to Jackrabbit a few years ago. I love to use the email class options and parent portal. Having parents log into their accounts to update information as well as make payments is great. The daily reports and subtype reports help with the book keeping. The customer support staff always replies quickly and they are very helpful!

Comments: Jackrabbit Dance saves us (the owners) so much time and money, allowing more time outside of the studio to spend with our family! With over 650 students, our studio has been using Jackrabbit Dance for more than 5 years now and we don't know what we would do without it!! JR's customer service and support is outstanding and makes the monthly dues seem like pennies. Very user friendly and can be accessed from your own living room (no more running up to the dance studio to check paperwork after hours).

Comments: I have been using Jackrabbit for my dance studio for 3 years. There is definitely a learning curve, but once you get used to it it's great. I'm not crazy about their customer support. There isn't a phone number; you have to send in a help request, and they only help through email. However, they do respond fairly quickly. I just prefer to speak with a person on the phone about issues. Overall a good product, and I would recommend it.

Comments: After 10 years of running my studio without a computer software program, Jack Rabbit has been one of the biggest blessings! I love that I don't have to be at the studio for customers to register!!! I love that I can reuse advertising signs over and over now because they just say "register online" instead of dates and times crammed on the sign or flyer or printed ad. It makes my business appeal to younger parents that think everything should be online etc.
I am not computer savvy but I am able to manage the program and that says a lot! I wish you could send attachments through Jackrabbit but I do love that I can email specific classes etc.
The support is great and the online tutorials are helpful too!

Comments: We have blessed with tremendous growth over the years of our studio. Handling the accounts was getting more and more involved as we added different pricing tiers, discounts, scholarships etc. We had used the same software for several years but it was outdated and not able to produce all we wanted/needed. We researched and asked around and Jackrabbit seemed to be where we needed to start in our quest for new studio software. After attending the seminar in Charlotte NC we knew we had made the right choice. The #1 influence in our decision was the customer service. We felt from the start that they would always be there for us and help in any way possible and they have not proven us wrong! We are still in the "learning stages" even after a year and a half and know that we are not using Jackrabbit to its fullest extent but we are taking baby steps. Some things are very hard to get use to after using another software for so long. Granted, there are reports, list , and overall ways of doing things that Jackrabbit cannot offer us and we are not pleased with EVERY aspect of the software however, have been able to make the necessary adjustments to keep going with it. I would highly recommend this software.

Comments: We just completed our first full season of using Jackrabbit and I don't even know where to start! We saved so much money on costumes because we were able to generate purchase orders on the spot as soon as we had all our sizing information in and confirmed. Our Accounts Receivable was so much easier to work with, because you can access your dashboard anywhere there's an internet connection. Drafting credit cards takes just a push of a button and the decline emails are sent automatically! Jackrabbit has saved us LOTS in paper, with tablets in each studio - our instructors handle the daily roll. We don't have to worry about processing absences through the office anymore. Our parents love the system as well. And I can't say enough about the Jackrabbit staff. They offer training, videos, conferences, and their support team is the best there is! My only regret is that we didn't switch years ago!

Comments: Jackrabbit saves me so much time. Before Jackrabbit I was usually an excel spreadsheet. ¿¿¿¿ Now, I spend so much less time on accounting and more time with my students.
My favorite part is that students can register through my website and monitor their account. I get less phone calls/emails/texts saying "what do I owe", because they can do it on their own.
I also love the time clock feature. I didn't have to purchase something separate. My new favorite feature is the store. That is the feature Jackrabbit was missing. You won't go wrong purchasing Jackrabbit. It's worth it!!

Comments: We have been using Jackrabbit for all our class registration since 2010. We started with the free trial period, which JR was generous enough to extend for us so we could get all our classes up and running and give it a decent trial before we committed ourselves. They also guided us through the setup procedure and were available to answer our questions all the way through.

Once we went live, our customers were quick to happily make the transition from manual enrollment for each class to JR's much improved online system. The reporting functionality is much appreciated, both in our local office and at headquarters. The ability to print out all the week's roll sheets, including parent contact info as well as medical info, within two minutes is fantastic. It used to take me hours each Monday morning.

One challenge we came up with is how to use JR for our room rentals. The obvious answer would have been using the Event Module, but that calendar doesn't coordinate with the Classes Calendar. Since we need everything on one calendar, we opted to add events as classes. It's not ideal, but it suffices.

Overall, we love JR and promote it to other properties that either do, or want to do, online registration. Few people we talk to are as happy with their online solution as we are with Jackrabbit.

Comments: I love that when I need help I have choices. I can submit a ticket and get the answer within 24 hrs.
I can look up a topic in the Help Center. I can watch a video. I can attend a webnair or a class.

I love sending emails through Jackrabbit for any reason pertaining to their account or class.

I'm learning something new all the time!!!!

Comments: We love using the Jackrabbit Class management system for our dance studio. This is our 7th year with it and I can't imagine not having it. There isn't anything about it we don't like, accept that we haven't been able to use all it has to offer yet and sometimes it takes awhile to figure out how to do things if you don't attend a user training session. We just started using the recital module and next year we are going to try the time clock for our employees. The options for tuition posting and ease of batching payments and streamlining autopay are REALLY the time savers. The use conferences are also very helpful and the staff is great about answering any questions we submit online. I hope they do a conference near Jacksonville, FL so I can take more of my staff ! Great things here...thanks Jackrabbit!

Comments: This is by far the best class software we have found for our gym (gymnastics and cheer) We had tried a few others and this one has way more options. It seems like no matter what we need it to do, it does. And if it doesn't do that they will add it to the ideas list and will add it! Super fast customer service, my questions are always answered well and fast!. Love JackRabbit and would recommend to anyone!

Comments: Jackrabbit is a very vital part of our business. We rely on it for class management, payment processing, scheduling and so much more. The program works wonderful and the staff is always willing to help if you have ANY trouble. I recently attended their user conference and learned how much MORE we could be utilizing this program. Comments: Our company has relied on Jackrabbit software for a few years now. It's is the best solution for management of our music & theatre studio business. We love that we're able to access information and conduct business from home, on the road, or anywhere we have Internet access. The majority of our instruction is private lessons, and working with private lessons in Jackrabbit is a little cumbersome. However, considering the continual enhancements, amazing customer service, and genuine attention to customer needs, we are confident that Jackrabbit will develop a top-notch solution to private lesson management, too!

Comments: Jackrabbit has helped save my sanity!!!

Pros: Getting rid of paper registration forms has been fabulous, online management for the families and my desk staff makes things so much more organized, it being cloud-based allows me keep better track of tuition and registration from anywhere, has made the ease of posting fees and collecting tuition 1000% better than the system that I had! The staff is also incredible! So patient and ready to answer all of your questions quickly and effectively. t describe how much Jackrabbit has helped improve my studio and my life!!

Comments: Jackrabbit Dance has all the bells and buttons for running a dance studio. They have made registering students and paying on line so easy for me and my customers. Everything from ordering costumes to setting up recitals is a breeze with Jackrabbit Dance. The reports in Jackrabbit are very helpful for evaluating income generated from customers. They are extremely helpful. Within a few hours I have my question answered via e-mail. If I have really problems that cannot be resolved by e-mail then they will call me and walk me through the process until I am comfortable with it. The company is always upgrading its product and adding new features. Their newsletter always keep you in touch with upcoming changes and is packed with valuable information for running a dance studio. The best part is you receive a Zippy the Rabbit for signing up (lol).

Comments: After purchasing our studio and trying to make sense of the archaic management software being used at the time we quickly realized we needed a more efficient and modern approach. After searching and sampling a few management softwares both downloaded and online we can across Jackrabbit and haven't looked back.

Even in our third year with Jackrabbit we are still discovering new features and enjoying new benefits. We recently implemented the ability for our families to manage and pay their accounts online and it couldn't be more convenient for both us and them.

The software is very thorough and catered to the industry extremely well. Customer service is very helpful and always gives practical explanations and examples to help work through any kind of hiccup.

We spent the time searching for the right management software and found it with Jackrabbit. We highly recommend their services to anyone. It doesn't matter if you're just beginning or have been in business for 50 years, Jackrabbit has something that can make your life easier.

Pros: Clients are able to register online and manage their accounts online - this alleviates tons of paperwork and phone calls.
We are able to e-mail specific classes directly as a group.
We can pull up an assortment of report - aged accounts, student listings, e-mail listings & much more!
Jack Rabbit staff is friendly and PATIENT!!
Jack Rabbit seminar is extremely helpful!

Cons: My ronly real complaint is that the roll sheets can only be printed in the portrait orientation and not the landscape - this would allow room for more dates across the top of the roll sheet.

Overall: I would highly recommend this system to any business with students. I was totally satisfied with my old software system, but then I tried Jack Rabbit 's free trial and couldn't believe what I was missing. I am no longer spending long hours at my desk. It has given me the freedom to do what I love and do best - TEACHING DANCE!

Pros: Quick and responsive customer/technical support
Flexible and customizable for our needs
Easy to use and navigate for our customers
Reports are a time saver
Web-based allows us to quickly edit, change, and run our business easily

Cons: This is not really a con, as it is a recommendation to truly maximize the features of this software, users should attend a training. So the only con is that the guided software training is only available at live locations a few times a year or you have to self-study by the manual. If the training was available by DVD (video) for people who cannot attend live it would be great.

Overall: JackRabbit was the best business decision we made in years! Going to online registration and automated tuition billing has not only increased our business and time for collecting tuition, but our students and parents love it too. The details that we can track, the costume management, and flexibility to adapt to our program needs have exceeded our expectations when we were looking for a software program. You'll be so glad you chose JackRabbit, we can't imagine running our dance studio without it.

Pros: Implementing the Jackrabbit software was the best thing we ever did for our business. The countless hours spent with parents going over accounts and begging people for money are things of the past. I truly don't know how we would be able to run two schools without this system in place. Thank you to the jackrabbit software for providing a system that is easy to use and has given us time freedom we couldn't have achieved without it!

Cons: Would like to store more than 1 credit card per family
