Comments: We started using house call pro for scheduling. It was a great start that was able to help our scheduling. We have now moved to the advertising and marketing side of it where we can reach out to our customers. We love having the customer support and the ease of getting in contact with someone that can help us extremely fast. Our customers love being able to know when we are on the way and being able to track us also on the office side we can track our technicians when they are on the road working.

This is a product that was obviously developed by people that have been in the service industry and know what it takes to stay organized and grow your business. Not only does it cover all of the necessary processes, but it also includes features to make you stand out from your competition. Comments: I signed up for HCP in November and had a great experience. Customer Support was very helpful. The app is very easy to use and powerful for running a service based business. Highly recommend using the online booking service if you need to do online scheduling.

Comments: This software is top notch. My technicians are extremely gun shy with technology and very leery when I told them we were going paperless. Their concerns were quickly put to rest once they got their hands on a tablet with HouseCall. It is user-friendly and allows me the reporting and scheduling capabilities needed to run a service company. I researched 11 other similar software and can honestly say that HouseCall is the best bang for your buck. Additionally, the team there is always happy to help and are very responsive to any questions you may have.

Comments: The house call pro app is such a great one for our business, we can schedule and create invoices with ease. The desktop version also allows for you to communicate with the technicians at a moments notice and they are great at response time and solving your problems. Even if they can't they will try to help you in the newest upgrade! Great for any service company

Comments: When we opened a second location for our Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Business we needed a new way to do scheduling for both locations and we learned about housecall, It has been a tremendous help in scheduling multiple employees . Housecall Pro Support has always resonded quickly when I have had a question or problem and they are open to suggestions on what features their customers would like to see put into the app. New improvements to the program are constant.

Comments: I own a small property maintenance company. We do mostly handyman work for residential and commercial facilities. I started out as a one man show and have been swamped with work. The major roadblock that was preventing me from scaling my business was the inability to effectively communicate between field technicians, office staff, customers, billing and scheduling. HouseCall Pro has remedied those issues and allows me to grow my business much more efficiently.

Absolutely love it, I want to go get more customers to put on the software lol.

Comments: We looked at many different software programs for our business. We decided on HouseCall for a trial period and love it. This system is nice for field work because the invoice can be standardized and emailed in the field from phones or tablets. We have sales reps that are out of the office and they can quote and invoice from anywhere and I get an email after payment is received.

Comments: I run a single manned mobile locksmith company. I tried exhaustively to find a dispatch application that wasn't "an arm and a leg" expensive, and provided the integration and features I needed to make my business flow smoothly. The search ended when I found HouseCall Pro. They are exactly what I needed, and they are free! I'll have no qualms with purchasing the premium packages once my company grows into needing them because of how well I'm treated as a FREE client!

Comments: I originally signed on with HouseCall Pro because it was a very good system on mobile, compared to its competitors. The fact that I could clear credit card transactions through the software at a very competitive rate (and pay the same amount for the software that I used to pay for credit card processing fees) made it very attractive.

It had one large weakness--it didn't offer any business information. I could not use the software to figure out how much I made last month.

As time went by, they kept constantly improving in small ways, making the interface better, making mobile work more smoothly, making things easier for technicians, and more. Every couple of months there was some new convenience or new feature.

Now, with the update today, I can dig into my numbers, there's an easy to understand dashboard that gives it all at a glance, and it is doing what I always wanted it to do. The software was well worth what I was paying even before the update, but now it is even better, and I expect them to keep improving it as time goes by.

Comments: I haven't found any cons with housecall. Except maybe that you cannot start an estimate or project up with out syncing it to a contact...that makes figuring up some flat rate fees or nameless clients projects for estimate purposes only is time consuming. There are to many pros to list and I've barely gotten started with the app.

Comments: I had done MONTHS and MONTHS of searching for the right software program for our small company. Everything was sooo expensive. But then I came across HouseCall Pro. Not only is it reasonably priced, the customer service has been AMAZING! Their chat lines make it easy to communicate and voice suggestions. They take suggestions and actually make improvements based on those suggestions straight from the contractors instead of a computer programmer sitting in the office. The customer's LOVE the texts and the on site payments make it seamless. Their credit card fees are VERY reasonable. Hands down, signing up for HouseCall Pro has proven to be one of the best choices we've made for our company! Every small business needs to know about this program!

Comments: This is a work in progress and as an ac contractor there are functions I need that not all other contractors need. My requests to add certain functions do not go unheard. Today I was notified by email that yet another one of my (and other contractors as well I believe) requests have been added and is now a function available to all. You cant just take this program and feel limited to what functions are available. Call the awesome service team and speak with them. Hell the owner even takes calls, how great is that. This program may not be for everyone but it is now the heart beat of our dispatching. My customers love the email and text notifications they get when they are added to the schedule and when the techs on his way. Saving picture attachments is a breeze and so important. This doesnt take up resources from my computer because its cloud based.
Welcome to the technology age my freinds, hang on and enjoy the benifits HCP brings to the table. I would be willing to pay more if I had to, its worth it! Dont let the owner read this!¿¿¿¿

Comments: I have been using HouseCall Pro for a few months now and it is great! Very easy to schedule jobs, competitive fee structure for credit card processing, and quick disbursements from your HouseCall account to your bank. The interface is simple and easy to use. No issues having the employees open it and be able to figure it out without any training necessary! I was going to get a Square account for my payment processing, but then I discovered HouseCall Pro and I'm so glad I did. I had been manually texting or emailing job info to my employees, but this app makes it so much more convenient and organized!

The only con I can think of at the moment would be that you can't check in to see where your employees currently are. I would like to see a feature implemented in future updates allowing for the person scheduling the job to be able to see on a map where each employee currently is to be able to choose the closest one to send to the job.

Other than that, I would have to give the program 5 stars. It has done everything I had asked of it and it runs incredibly smoothly. Never had it freeze, crash, etc. Would highly recommend to other small business owners!

Comments: The website can be a little overwhelming at first, but there are readily available tutorials to watch, the staff is there to help during business hours via chat, and you can schedule a training with one of their staff members!

Comments: Awesome and so pleased with HouseCall. I switched from Jobber about 8 months ago or so and am so pleased with HouseCall. All of the features are amazing and are very user friendly. Very easy to use and navigate. I love the SMS and email notifications, the mobile APP, and how the customer is notified of who (by name and picture) is coming to the property. The Marketing options with email and automatic postcards are awesome as well.

I would say the biggest feature though is the Customer service....these guys are spot on!

Comments: We have been using hosuecall pro for a while now and I am so impressed with what it offers. It puts all of our jobs all in one place with real-time updates. It makes staying organized and on-top of the team very easy. We can virtually see where everyone is at one time and how the jobs are progressing. Aside from the product itself, the team at HouseCall Pro is amazing. They take all suggestions to heart and do everything they can to help. While there are other similar products out there, I put a high value on customer service, and HouseCall Pro certainly has the highest level of customer service.

Comments: When I first started using HouseCall Pro for Brightside Pest Control I was afraid it did not have the features I have grown to need. The UI is so simple and straight forward. Comments: Legacy Services Carpet Cleaning needed a program that would stream line our best practice in house, and allow our technicians and office better communications. We have had just a few things here and there we wanted to see changed, especially for visibility and actions in the field as it is different than the desk top. HCP team has worked with us on every question and helped us to learn ways to get what we needed out of the system. Even when the program has limitations we find away with their help.

Best part!! The HCP Team listens to our needs and rolls out these changes. We understand HCP is growing as company, as are we, and we enjoy the journey together with this team. Comments: This really is a great app for running your business on the go and in the field. We've tried 5 or 6 apps before this one and you really cant beat the price for the features they offer. The app handles everything we need right from my cell. From creating jobs or estimates in the field to collecting payments by credit card. All of the client and job info is available, as well as any special instruction notes. By far the best feature is the text alerts to clients. It saves us calling, or getting calls from the clients wondering where the crew is or when they'll arrive. Scheduling and routing features are a bonus. It has really helped us grow our business.

Comments: Housecall Pro has delivered from the first time I contacted them. The software review process should have lasted 20 minutes however it took 90 minutes. In part to the fact I had tons of questions - he never rushed or pressured me to end, even though he had another session scheduled after mine. Needless to say I joined and it has been a wonderful experience since.

Comments: SIn the last two weeks I've experienced problem when trying to send the final invoice for customer approval . It shows a message "the app is just recovering from a crush, if the problem persists contact customer service. That's what I did on Monday and Tuesday morning, the girl recomended me to turn the phone off and then turn it back on, uninstall the Housecall app and rerinstall it again. I did it and the issue persists with the inconvenience of not getting paid through the app not even using credit card payment. No way to get paid. I already have not enough money in my bank account . This is very unusual. I'll be so happy finding out Monday morning this problem is solved, I mean I'm sure you guys are going to figure it out. This detail may help all this took place after I did the "update" of the Housecall Pro app.

Comments: If you are in the service industry, I highly recommend House Call Pro (HCP). I am the single owner operator of a carpet cleaning business. For me, its exactly what I need, especially because I am on the go all the time. Having your whole business mobile has made my life easier and my business more efficient. The whole marketing system is also turn key. Very nicely done. The company is constantly tweaking the service based on input from their clients.

Email and Postcard marketing is very easy and effective.
Email invoicing is awesome especially with a link to pay by credit card online.

Comments: The best part about this is it offers just about everything my HVAC company needs. We are very small and compared to other software the price is great. It has dispatching, customer emails and postcards that can be sent, updates the customer so I make fewer phone calls, money is quickly deposited to our account with no hidden fees. I like knowing exactly what I am paying for and housecall does that. The only cons to housecall are my ability to add my services and descriptions of work performed on each call. Its format is mainly for a single item and its charge. I also don't like that I can't reflect work performed and a negative quantity if I don't charge for a particular service. It only gives me a choice of adding a discount. I am able to work around these small issues and overall I love Housecallpro and its the best thing that happened to my new business.

*Customers rave about the emails they get reminding them of their appointment and the text message notices when my technician is in route!

Comments: Before HouseCallPro ¿to say our office was disorganized ¿ is a gross understatement.
Not only were there flaws in our scheduling system, but tracking estimates, jobs in progress, and making sure clients were billed properly consumed much of my day. And even as hard as I tried, I simply couldn¿t keep up with it all.
The moment we implemented HouseCallPro, my work life changed for the better.
All of our customers love the built in appointment reminders and texting feature to let them know when a technician is on the way. This feature also eliminates No Shows or people forgetting they¿ve got an appointment. The program itself is easy to navigate and for the most part I was able to learn it in less than 24-hours. It is so user friendly and simple to navigate!
And if you do run into questions, one of the BEST features to this program is the live Help Chat which gives you a direct link to the three designers of the program. And they are awesome guys who are always extremely helpful (and fun ) to talk to when you need assistance.

HouseCall offers immediate realtime scheduling, invoicing and payment processing. All paperless and seamless with Quickbooks. Better every time we use it. Comments: This software has made my company appear much more professional. My cliets say they love the estimates and the invoices that I now produce. Housecall pro, helps keep everything organized. The text reminder feature has saved me from making several wasted trips to customers houses.
The mobile version has a bit of a learning curve. However, they seem to constantly be improving the app.
I wish they had a better online scheduling system. My clients are demanding this from me. A call every now and again from a housecall representative would be nice.

Comments: We looked for a FSM/CRM/Appointment Scheduler software for 18 months. HouseCall is, without a doubt, the best all-in-one solution, and it's only getting better. Highest recommendations.

PROS as of July 14, 2015:
1. App for field technicians is awesome! Best I've seen.
2. Strong and powerful integration with Google -- autofills addresses and integrates with Maps.
3. Automatic e-mail reminders sent to customers.
4. Postcard marketing campaigns.
5. Quickbooks compatible.
6. INCOMPARABLE customer service. They have the best group of people working for them. They are always there to listen to requests and solve problems. Messaging app within the desktop software lets you communicate with them directly anytime.

CONS as of July 14, 2015:
1. Clunky and glitchy scheduling 'applet' -- sleek in design, but I value function over form.
2. "Calendar Views" are sloppy and difficult to read if you have many employees and/or jobs. Practically useless. We must therefore still rely on Google Calendar to view resources and employee availability.
3. No automatic reminders sent to employees...yet....
3. No customization options. (eg - You cannot rename "professional" to "stylist" or "technician" to suit your industry.)
4. No way to "black out" dates on scheduler for employee time off. Again, we still have to use Google Calendar.
5. Very weak CRM (no multiple contacts for a business, no way to name different service addresses, no pipeline for making sales, etc.)

All this being said, PROS far outweigh CONS. The HouseCall team is professional and eager to listen to suggestions. They are always improving, and they are working with us all the time on our feature requests. It is becoming a better software with every release. I love HouseCall and it comes with my highest recommendations.

Comments: You can now integrate with QuickBooks online. When you do this your whole business changes. You no longer have to sit done with a calculator and add everything up at the end of the month. Housecall pro sends everything to QuickBooks. I Dailey enter my expenses that are not reoccurring . I run reports and know how I am doing . With the housecall pro I have my job cost when I talk to the customer and can make changes quickly if I have to. I can set the prices up after the phone call when I have time not when I'm in front of the customer ad feel pressured. There is also a feature that has saved me some embarrassment and that is there is a picture of the house for most of the jobs in the city keeping me from knocking on the wronk door.
