Comments: After discovering this EZEE software solution, I took directly the 30-days free trial. Together with the manuals it is easy to start and there are so many possibilities. I regret only one thing and that is that I should found this software 3 years earlier. Now we are starting with the Ultimate EZEE program without any investment. Many thanks of Corfu - GREECE to all the EZEE sales and support employees.

Pros: It is easy to use and there are so many possibilities. Because we are going to start-up three more properties is the Ultimate EZEE program the perfect solution. Now investment and it is a perfect win - win situation. Even a triple win because the costumer wins also by the great service that we can give, thanks to the EZEE solution.

Cons: In the free trial and the manuals are sometimes differences, small things. Probably because of up grades of the program.

Recommendations to other buyers: To expand it would be nice to have also a SPA & WELNESS solution, a chapter to organise your own daytrips and excursions. An event manager special for concerts and music festivals.

Comments: I am using EZEE FRONT DESK hotel managment software in 3 of my property in INDIA ,CHENNAI ,TAMILNAD ,since 2009. Its the best because i tried many Hotel software , but nothing is equal to EZEE FRONT DESK.

Pros: Easy to use & 24 x 7 customer support .

Cons: Because fulfills all my requirements for my business.

Comments: It is very suitable for our small business of hotel apartments. We keep track of our hotel reservations and customer information.
The customer service staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The software is very easy to use.

Cons: I think that the photo feature on the guest information part of the software should be improved. I am still not able to use it.

Recommendations to other buyers: I suggest that a more advanced book keeping and expenses feature to the software should be added.

Comments: Started using the software in 2011 for our first hotel. Just downloaded the demo, self taught ourselves to use and bought the license. Its an ezee (like the name) software to use. Very user friendly, hack proof (which is vital for businesses) and all encompassing. Just the click of a button and everything I need to know comes up

Pros: Ease of use, very direct, user friendly

Cons: No automatic updates, I wish the latest versions could automatically update

Comments: The program is quite user friendly and assist in viewing a lot of data at a glance. We have little problems and if there are problems or queries, the 24hr assistance is fast.

Pros: The point of sales is directly linked and updated to the hotel operating system and easily communicates to the accounting system. it is also fairly user friendly.

Cons: there are many features that might be updated or added since the program was initially set up for our property. We might not always be aware of the new features or know how to use it to its full potential. Personal contact sessions every 2 years or so will be very valuable as there are certain issues that is very difficult to get sorted out via live chat or skype.

Recommendations to other buyers: Please assist us with an agent who can visit the property from time to time to personally assist in questions and issues that is difficult to address via email or live chat.

Comments: The flow is easy and staff gets on to it soon with little training. Support is also good, gives new product updates every month with a release notes. Query handling and tracking is also perfect with the tracking nums.

Pros: The most lovely part is the integration.

Cons: Sold in the form of modules and anything u ask them is chargeable and not having integration with any WiFi platforms.

Comments: Ezee Front desk is overall a great software to use once its configured up to your needs. It is equipped with great features and reports when it comes to managing Front Desk. It is pleasure to work on something you can rely on.

Good interface ( User friendly)

Cons
Banquet, housekeeping, laundry modules are unfit for working hence I don't use them. I seems nobody even wants to do anything about improving these modules till the year 2016
.
Online support is highly taken for granted.

Customizations are accepted by not looked up timely.

Their customer service personnel are always ready to assist. Govind is always ready to assist us in any way possible and has always been able to solve our varied issues. Ravikant, their online trainer has been a huge help in us getting conversant with the finer points of the software that is not covered in a regular training session.

Comments: After using the eZee Frontdesk for almost 4 years, we added the Mini Bar module. I must say that the mini bar module is very rudimentary and not worth the investment. But the Frontdesk software is easy to use and quite comprehensive on its own.

However, there could be improvements in the reporting and cash auditing at a close of shift. It is not easy to track your payables by the charge group or type created. Close shift count is also very weak and is easily manipulated by staff as there is no control on it.

The 24 hour support is good because there is always someone around to look into an issue when we face it. This is a great plus for the software.

Monthly/ yearly sales option helps to analyse the revenue.
Live support is reliable, fast and helpful.
For a small hotel as ours there are too many options which are not necessary.
Perhaps, there could be easier edition for small properties.

Comments: I am using this Ezee frontdesk fince 2009,. There ware some small issues in the begining , but ezee support team,sloved all those problems. I had asked for many useful changes which the support team did it for me, So now its100 % Hotel Managment software which will sute many .

Comments: Currently the BurrP POS is based on touch, but having functionality for keyboard only use, opening tables from keyboard, new KOT etc, should be included.

Comments: It is very user friendly system. It will be good if we can have an auto night audit function as this willl be useful for SME business where manpower is a problem to employ a night manager. Also the language pack for the Chinese language need to be adjusted as a lot of the translated words are not right. If we can have a free hand to add in words for translation, it will serve the Chinese hoteliers in China well.

Comments: I have nothing bad to say about this program; it truely is amazing and Easy! I tried using a different hotel software for a bit but, I ran into so many problems and every time I had a problem solved I would just run into another; it took me a week and a half to get as far as I did (which wasn't that far) and with ezee, I almost have the program fully functional and running after only a few days!
I love how every single little aspect is customizable so that you end up with a program that is completely tailored to your specific needs and preferences. The only not so great thing about this software is the price tag, it's a little steep for computer programming, but it is still a fantastic and Ezee product to work with. Thank You.

I have been really impressed with the effort that the eZee team puts in to improve the software.

Comments: I have delt with a number of software companies but eZee has an outsatnding support team that's available to help you any time. Another reason I am so eager to work with eZee is that you are constantly working to improve your software and become the best. The software overall is amazing and gurantees value for your money.

There are very few cons off course, like the fact that you have to preconfigure reasons for certain actions like voiding, cancelling a booking or room change (all the pre-configured reasons required). This feature is quite inconveniecing because you can't think of all the reasons there and then, it would be best if you left it open to give a reason when need arises. Looking at the way most hotels and Lodges operate in Zambia, the banquet module does not easily fit in as the Conference is charged Separate and also things like Buffet, tea break etc are charged individually. Last but not the least, In case where a client pays his taxes on cash basis, eZee does not provide a report that can give you tax only on cash settlements minus city ledger settlements. It would be a perfect systems with these few improvements.

Compare to similar products eZee Front Desk is complete in everything needed to operate a Hotel.

Comments: The software is very user-friendly and easly customizable which is a great asset because not all hotel offer the sams amenities or require the same documentation. It has a wide variety of add ons. The cons is that the only option for paying the maintainance fees are tru wiretransfer which poses a problem for our company. Also most forms have to be bought because the program doesnt bring empty templates, all have other hotels information. At least checkin form should be empty/standard.

The good thing about this software is the integration of the reservation and restaurant module and also to our channels which makes it easy to maintain.

However the day end security (ie cash counting) could be improved to minimize any foul play.

Comments: I am happy overall with the software, but when a glitch happens with the program, not good. All computer software will have a hiccup at some point, so that is not a bother. What is a bother is when the software does have it's hiccup customer service doesn't have a clue how to solve it. They always say that they have never encountered this before and will have tech team look into it and we will contact you in 24 hours. They don't, so you call them back 2, 3, or 4 days later looking for the solution they promised 3-4 days ago and never delivered. The usual response is to update the software to the next version, having to take down the entire hotel operations, close the front desk, take down the server, all while the tech promises that it will take 10-15 minutes, it doesn't. Then after the tech team has been working on server on remote for an hour or so, problem seems to be solved, but each terminal now has to go through the same process, an hour or so on each terminal (we have5), which takes a long time. The whole while remember that the Hotel is not taking in guests, checking out guests, coordinating with the housekeeping, extending guests stays, putting in wake up calls, booking rooms online, switching guests from room to room, and the other one thousand things that a hotel of our size does on a typical day. This is a pain for something that is promised as so simple. So to sum it up in a few words......eZee to use, not to keep running.

Comments: some limitation of this software:

1) You should work more on room control view option. in room view option unconfirmed reservation(room is not allocated)+confirmed reservation( room is allocated) should be shown in together in total reservation number. And if user choose overbooking option then after room is over booked the value should be in minus sign and red color.( -1= one room is overbooked, -4 = four rooms are overbooked) . -1 & -4 should be in red color. then it will be really easy to unserstand reservation statistics for user.

2) In E-mail reservation voucher, the user can send E-mail only from one specified address. and also user can't send E-mail to more than one addresses. this is disgustin. because some times user need to send reservation voucher to more than one E-mail addresses.

I am using Ezee absolute and Ezee reservation for last 1 year. And getting this 2 problem unsolved for last 1 year. other than everything is Excellent.

Some time ago you reported below and we have worked on that enhancements. In E-mail reservation voucher, the user can send E-mail only from one specified address. and also user can't send E-mail to more than one addresses. this is disgustin. because some times user need to send reservation voucher to more than one E-mail addresses. Please go to ¿Edit Transaction¿ Option under system and you will see option for More Email's. We have sent screen shot to you as well. We hope this information will help you.

Comments: I think eZee front dest is easier then other FD soft and most significant part is the support team's support. They are really very much helpful and cooperate. Their side by side work is really very nice and effective.
I have a suggestion regarding FD configuration and that should be open for edit or customize printing settings for reporting. If it will be then i hope the report view will be accepted by the management.
