Pros

Offers many features which may work fine if you don't need full integration with QuickBooks. However, I believe this software was designed to augment other accounting software and not recommended as a stand-alone platform. The presentation was impressive to me: "click, click, click... see how easy this is, click, click, click... see all the great features...". Having taken months to implement and now using the software routinely for several months... there is nothing easy about this product. Frankly, it would appear to me that this software is designed to present well, hitting many hot buttons that fail in their actual performance and delivery.

Cons

There are definate problems with QuickBooks integration. A/R reporting is inaccurate. Service CEO has a powerful service contract feature that absolutely does not export to QuickBooks and tech support has no viable solution. In fact, if you search their library for solutions, you come across a prompt for suggestions to remedy the problem. Now that I go back and read old reviews, I can tell the problems have been unresolved for many years. Unfortunately, this is not acknowledged during the purchasing process. This is an extremely difficult software to implement. The software is difficult to navigate and performing what should be simple tasks is extremely slow and combersome(i.e. item sales, transfer goods from one warehouse to another, invoicing). I get sick thinking about the huge investment I made in this product, thinking it would make my life easier and give me ability to better track my field technicians and inventory. I am extremely dissappointed!

Overall

This was my second attempt to find a solution for my field service needs. The first purchase over two years ago was a product by Corrigo and it was easy to implement, but fell short when I learned I could not consolidate more than one work order into a single invoice. The Service CEO software satisfied my only issue with Corrigo, however, this decision has turned into a complete nightmare foir me. From implementation to day-to-day usage nothing is easy with this product. Having experienced one other software, I just have to believe there are more complete software offerings with easier implementation and function than Service CEO. My recommendation is to purchase anything else. When reading old negative reviews from three years ago, one will quickly discern the aforementioned issues I address have been ongoing and unresolved for a long time; indicative of a lack of concern for producing a functional product.

The demonstration was good but use of the software was not.

Pros

Good scheduling when the program works. Other than that, can't think of any due to the lack of support given by the company.

Cons

The program works if you have enough money to continue to pay support for help in keeping it working. If you don't have the money, you are on your own as far as support is concerned. And, mark my words, you will need lots of support to set up, implement, understand and run this program.

Overall

DO NOT BUY SERVICECEO. You will pull your hair out when you find out the actual ongoing costs of support. If you don't renew the member center every year, you are on your own. No "per use" support is available. Member center is very expensive and not worth the money. I was one of their highest rating customers but that is all changed now. No support, no anything from insight except them asking for more and more money.

Still waiting for my refund. The software never worked. No customer service available. No customer support unless you wait for hours by email. Get into a different line of work.
