Pros
All in one System - We saved over 2000 hours in administrative tasks
Integrates with SVN - submit code with time and application adds it to total task time and automatically adds time entry to timesheets - Total time saver that no other systems offers in the market place.
Out look plugin allows us to create tasks from emails - attach documents, create new tasks and ISU gets updated. THat make our jobs so much easier
IT the only application in the market that has 14 modules built into one system that all work together in real time.
Incredibly fast - from data view to report creation its done under 1 minute.
We saved $158 k USD in comparison to using a huge ERP system that is bulky slow and had to continue to update it and spent tremendous amount of time developing configurations to meet our needs.
Cons
Been around for 7 years however officially is being released to market in November.
Overall
All in One systems are the next wave for ALM and SLDC
IS Untangle just created its own paradigm and whole new quadrant in Gartner.
I suspect that a huge ERP company will buy these guys out within a couple of years - Its such a unique product that makes everyone's job easier at the end of the day
