Pros: The calendar is very helpful to me. I am able to have access to everyone's calendar with this software, unlike our old software only certain people's calendar could be available for me to view.

Cons: Possibly a temporary problem, but at times our office has problems connecting to box sync through practice panther.

Overall: I taught myself on this system, and i is basically very simple. Importing documents from our old system into the new is very easy and self-explanatory! The prompts tell you what to do.

Pros: The ability to use client information directly transferred into legal forms

Overall: Before we had Practice Panther we had Rocket Matter as our software management system and they increased our fees significantly after the 1st year of our subscription. Practice Panther has fixed rates. Before we were doing a lot of things manually and spending a significant amount of time finding information about clients, and copying and pasting descriptions of time for billing. Now we have easy access to client information and don't have most of those issues. Also, the templates and inputs are awesome for routine legal forms! The custom fields and custom groups are increasing effectiveness and efficiency and quality of the our practice because of less mistakes and less of the problem of finding old client's names in forms that you might miss. Once created, the templates also makes it easier to find the permanent form for the specific area for your practice. Practice Panther added the ability to bill your time right from the calendar soon after we subscribed which is a huge time advantage. Also, Practice Panther is mobile with a great iphone app and ipad app you can take in the court room or on the road. My receptionist and legal secretary can make appointments which immediately show up on my remote apps and vice versa, and the calendar and billing time also works great on those apps. I researched many legal software management programs before deciding on Practice Panther and I have not been disappointed. It is an excellent software management system for the small to medium size law firm.

Recommendations to other buyers: The Practice Panther team has been very responsive to any issues or questions we have had about using the software at no additional cost!

Pros: The template feature is invaluable.

Cons: Currently, the software allows for email template to alert them of a an invoice and to remind them to pay the invoice. I wish there was an ability to create more email templates.

Overall: The software is simple to use and intuitive. As a small firm attorney, the software has reduced the time I spend on non-legal work so I can concentrate on the important aspects of lawyering.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take advantage of the intake and template feature. Those two feature will free up a paralegal or assistant.

Pros: Great tools, great automation, great customer support

Cons: There are continuing areas that we could further automate to make the product even more amazing.

Overall: I recently switched to PracticePanther after 20 years using different version of Amicus Attorney. While Amicus helped me to keep my practice moving for years, the lack of continuing support for the product and meaningful changes caused me to start looking at alternatives. After researching the current crop of practice management programs and downloading several demo's, I ended subscribing to the PracticePanther team. The first reason I chose PP was the fact that I was able to create "workflows" that automate a ton of the tasks required for several practices areas. For example, a new misdemeanor criminal case can have the misdemeanor workflow that I created applied and all of the steps for the cases are automatically generated. The scheduling of the first client meeting, initial hearing, filing of our appearance, requesting discovery, sending discovery, attending the pretrial conference, plea meeting with client and change of plea hearing all become tasks or calendar events with just the touch of a button. My assistant then just needs to coordinate the dates for all of the auto-generated tasks or events in order to have the file completely organized. The workflow also assigns the responsibility for completion of tasks automatically to me or my staff so we all are reminded of what needs to take place next. The second selling feature for me was the automated email and text-message reminders that can be generated to the client (and to staff if desired). I like that I receive a text reminder from my dentist's office and wanted something similar. For all events that I create within the workflow, I can assign the reminder details. This has significantly lowered the number of no-shows that I have for office meetings and court hearings and reduces the staff time that was spent before calling to remind clients of court dates and meetings. The third key feature that I really wanted was the secure client portal feature. The portal allows me to hand incoming clients an Ipad to have them fill out their intake information that we would need to create a new client file. Once the client has completed the information on the Ipad, it automatically creates a new contact within the PP system and we can then easily generate a new matter if we are hired. For clients that we choose to work with, they are also sent an email invitation to open their secure portal, thus allowing them access to their online file within the PP system. Clients love it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Just that it's a great piece of software with the potential to be practice-changing!

Pros: I love the IT help, the invoicing system and the templates feature. I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help in the beginning. Being able to schedule times to discuss my issues with the IT guys at PracticePanther was great. The fact that they can take over your computer remotely so they can see what you see in real time is even better. Their response time to non-scheduled issues is pretty fast. I have also found their FAQs and how to videos to be extremely helpful but having a live person to speak with who can access your computer is just as good as having someone standing next to me while I work.

The invoicing system is phenomenal. It keeps track of all of my client banking accounts. I can see at any time how much is in my IOLTA account, how much is in my operating account, how much a client owes, how much a client has paid and how much I have billed a client but not yet invoiced. I can do this client by client, matter by matter or as an overall total. LawPay is free if you sign up through PracticePanther which is awesome because it handles my credit card transactions and when a client pays, it automatically updates my invoicing and accounts. PracticePanther also knows how to deduct things from a client's retainer when sending out an invoice so you don't have to worry about that either. Their timing device feeds right into the system. It is awesome.

Overall: Before PracticePanther my client information was all over my computer. I kept track of billable hours and financials in Exel, client emails in Google, and my forms (intake, representation, agreements, court filings etc) in Word. This meant in order to have everything as it pertained to a specific client in one place, I had to print everything out. And, I was using nonlegal software to send out billing invoices which lead to long hours of transcribing information from Excel to the service I was using. The rate of error of retyping information like addresses or agreements or billable hours into different software programs was high. I am a solo practitioner who does not have a clerk, secretary or paralegal. So after a long day of work, I then had to become the marketing, IT and accounting departments. I spent a lot of time doing things two and three times. I knew I needed a case management system but was afraid it would be too expensive or time consuming to learn.

After doing my due diligence I found PracticePanther. Not only was PP one of the most affordable options out there, they had very intuitive methods of doing things so the learning curve did not take much time. Now anything and everything pertaining to a specific client is kept in one place. All billables, emails, evidence, representation agreements¿I even enter details of phone calls and meetings I have on matters in the Notes section for each matter so I have a documented history of what was discussed on what day. PracticePanther has cut the amount of time I spend on my office management duties by about 65%. I use that time to grow my practice, network or do pro bono work.

Recommendations to other buyers: To other firms and solos I would say: Stop spinning your wheels. You are doing way more work and making way more errors than you need to. Getting PracticePanther has cut down the amount of time I spend on everything tremendously and helps me stay organized very easily. It has an amazing app that is just as affective as if you were working at a PC. For the price of less than an hour of work a month you can buy peace of mind and some of your life back!

Comments: Before PracticePanther, I kept an excel spreadsheet and manually kept time for my cases. I looked around for a practice management system and even tried several of them out before I made a decision. After trying out Practice Panther, it has streamlined my whole process.

I like the easy of invoicing a client and the easy of editing it before I send it out. Where it used to take me hours, it now takes me a couple of minutes. I also like that it is integrated with LawPay now most of my processes are in one place.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would say that a good practice management system should be your foundation and key to your organization.

Pros: The ability to assign and track tasks

Cons: There are a lot of features that take a little while to learn

Overall: Before using PracticePanther, everything was done manually which was time consuming and it allowed things to "slip through the cracks". Now, with using PracticePanther, things are better organized and nothing is getting lost. Not everything is completed on schedule, but at least we can now see what is and is not being completed and reprioritize as needed. PracticePanther has been a huge boost in tracking tasks and their state of completion.

Comments: I owe PracticePanther so much for helping our firm keep us true to our mission. At Ticket Drop, we made it a mission of our firm to provide the best customer service, so I have been looking for a reliable and affordable case management software that would help me do just that. I was hesitant to finally settle on one, but that changed when I tried PracticePanther. Almost immediately I found the software much more easy to use than the other products I tried out and it accomplished everything I was looking for to benefit my firm and my clients. We make sure each of our clients is able to communicate directly with the lawyer handling their ticket. PracticePanther's portal is so easy to use and intuitive, no one in our firm had any trouble getting our clients to use it to view the status of their case, billing, important announcements, and to keep track of all the work their lawyer was doing for them. I can tell you that our clients were incredibly grateful to have all the information available to them. PracticePanther made it so easy for them to see how hard we were working for them. PracticePanther made it so simple and faster to communicate with our clients and I know their software is saving us so much time in the short and long run. PracticePanther was the best way to show our clients that we mean what we say: that we value customer service. No other software out there made it so easy to keep our clients happy and our employees happy.

The guys over at PracticePanther's customer support are also incredibly helpful. The software is not hard at all to pick up, but when there were a few bumps in the road I simply picked up the phone and called their customer support. They took their time helping me through the issues I had, they answered all my questions patiently and took my feedback to heart. They really make it a priority to listen to feedback and use it to make their software even better. That's how you make a better product and their software really show how much they try to make it user-friendly.

Pros: I like just about everything about this software and have put most of my likes in my review.

Cons: It is hard to find a least like in this software, and if there ever is it get addressed and fixed. For example I had difficulty setting up my invoices but after contact with their support and granting them temporary access it was fixed in minutes

Overall: I have been using PracticePanther for my small law firm for a little over a year now. It has proven to be extremely valuable and has made my practice more productive. I have been able automate a variety of functions that I use every day to be more productive and expand my business. The software is extremely easy to customize and set up for my practice. Billing, intake forms, templates, workflows, calendar management and client relationship management, cloud storage, client portals with secure messaging are all integrated into the software. No hidden costs. Everything is included and no upcharges. Support is very responsive with several ways to contact them right within the program. They are also very responsive to suggestions and they have quickly integrated requested features. While I am not sure how many people work at PracticePanther, I imagine there a lot. However, I feel like I get the support of a local business and that my business matters.

Comments: After spending months researching, and receiving demonstrations on, dozens of case management software options (using Capterra as a starting point), I finally decided on PracticePanther. We are now in the process of fully integrating all aspects of our practice into this software and we are continuing to find new features that will make our office more efficient. This and the customer support continually prove to me that I made the right choice.

PracticePanther is easy to use and incredibly customizable. In that it is web-based, it is accessible from any computer or device with an internet connection. We use it to store all pertinent case information and contacts, and to calendar appearances, tasks, court and internal deadlines and reminders. We use the feature which allows you to create workflows so that we don't have to reinvent the wheel every time we want to establish/calendar the same set of tasks on a new matter. PracticePanther makes it easy to track time spent and expenses on all of our cases. Also, it allows all users to view and track the activity of other all other users, which minimizes the need to constantly follow up with other members of the firm regarding status of task completion.

PracticePanther integrates with Box.com. So if you house your case files within Box.com you can access them directly through PracticePanther. Because of this, we are now integrating all of our files with Box.com so that we can use this feature. The prospect of having all case information, calendaring, AND the case file accessible from any device anywhere, is very exciting.

There is a great feature that allows you to create fully customized intake questionnaires that can be sent to potential clients via a link. Once the potential client fills out the information it is automatically uploaded to PracticePanther.

There are great demonstration videos and articles on their website which really help you to familiarize yourself with the product, although it's very easy to figure out on your own as it is extremely intuitive.

However, the greatest part of PracticePanther is its customer support. It is always easy to get a hold of someone to answer your questions. Best of all is that they listen to your feedback and use it to improve upon their product with regular updates. I have seen many of my suggestions come to life in a short amount of time. They truly want to hear what you have to say in order to make their product better!

Cons: It doesn't connect to as many third-party apps as other options. For example, for storage you are limited to Box and DropBox, but can't use Google Drive.

Overall: I opened my own solo law practice recently. In preparation for that I spent a considerable amount of time testing different practice management products. I went through about 8 different products before settling on Practice Panther. It does everything I wanted and it looks really nice while doing it. It absolutely stacked up against the most well-known players in the game and exceeded them in some respects. For example, adding billed time is so easy in Practice Panther and can be done from anywhere. Some other practice management solutions didn't let you turn any task or activity into a billed entry. I'm still learning how to maximize the software for my practice, but I would highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking. It's a great team with incredible customer service. It is 100% as good as any other practice management software on the market. I was pleasantly surprised.

Recommendations to other buyers: At first I didn't understand the trust accounting, but once I spent a little time with it I figured out how great it is. Utilize their free training to have them walk you through anything you don't understand.

Comments: So easily to manipulate this software to cut down on time in running a practice. Comments: We wanted to use a practice management software for all the reasons one wants a practice management software but in addition we wanted two things that really were not easily available anywhere else. 1) to database our practice with custom fields, so we kind keep track of important information about the clients that we would need, sometimes on several occasions, but did not have a database to find it. Like how many cases is a GAL on, or what is the 4th kids birthday? 2) to be able to both use our mac based office on dropbox with native direct access to the files in the same intuitive way that we always have and without down loading or accessing the practice management software keep it updated automatically, and to be able to do the opposite, stay in the practice management software like on an iPad pro, make changes to the documents in the management software and on dropbox. This does the trick.

Pros: Ability to keep time and create invoices from those time inputs.

Cons: The fact that I can't color coordinate the calendar once I sync it to my gmail, it all appears in one color.

Overall: Thie software is very easy to use and makes many tedious task much easier and time efficient. The only thing I would change would be a way to personalize invoices a little more.

Cons: Client and Matter numbers are not automatically inserted. I want the numbers automatically put in, in numerical order.

Cons: No internal email client (This is a MAJOR MAJOR con...) and the corresponding lack of streamlined lead to fulfillment process, lack of user-defined lead to fulfillment reporting (pipeline),
panther branded client login (should be my logo!)

Overall: I tested four different solutions looking for a secure client portal for messaging and file sharing and a reasonably intuitive interface for my tax practice. It was evident from the get-go that PracticePanther did both of these things well. My experience with customer service and senior management thus far (yes, even the suits!) gives me confidence that this cat is able and willing to keep on innovating to deliver a constantly improving experience.

Recommendations to other buyers: integration of a strong form-builder to create client organizers and other forms would be useful to my tax practice. I now use www.cognitoforms.com...

Overall: Ever since I found this program I have everything I need at my fingertips. I do not have to go around using different programs because PP has it all. Instead of spreading tons of money on different programs , PP gives you everything you need at a fraction of the cost. Their staff is wonderful and very helpful. Pros: There are many things I like about the software. The main ones are:
- The search function. This makes searching for contacts or matters very easy. This is available on many of the screens as well as the dashboard.
- The price is very reasonable for a sole practitioner, and cheaper than the other software I have investigated
- Easy to create templates
- The screens are easy to understand and its a joy to use the software
- its relatively easy to import contacts (which i did from my gmail)
- billing is really good
- the client portal is amazing (you can even see when your client's read their invoices)
- it is improving all the time - there are regular weekly and monthly updates
- I find the relationships tab really useful to keep all my contacts related to the matter together for each of use
- there are many other pros about this software - try it and see for yourself

Cons: - the software is not perfect - it would be good if viewing emails from external email (e.g. gmail) could be improved so that they are more readable
- secure messages could be improved to allow attaching multiple files without the need to zip
- greater connection with Box so that Box's sharing could be linked to a contact without the need to manually enter the contacts email address when you are inside the contact's matter

Overall: I'm a sole practitioner and I was looking for legal practice management software that was easy to use and reasonably comprehensive. Previously I had recommended ActionStep to my previous colleagues in a 4-5 lawyer lawfirm. This was also a good product, but PracticePanther in my view is better in many ways. For cloud storage I use Box, and this connects easily with PracticePanther so that I can see all the documents that relate to a matter. PracticePanther uses a simple tab structure for each matter so that you can easily and quickly look at notes, activities, time records, payments, invoices etc. I'm really quite impressed with the software and would recommend it to anyone. It is very easy to see what you have been paid in a given period, what you are owed, and what you have to bill. I'm only one user, but you can have many users and each can see this from the dashboard screen. I'm a bit of a techie person and I've spent many hours investigating the different legal practice management software systems. PracticePanther comes a clear first, for my needs.

Pros: Beautiful layout, easy to use, functions as a basic CRM, matter and time management, and billing program all in one.

Cons: Flat fee billing is not well thought out, and the billing module presents clients with a reckoning of my operating account as well as their trust account. (I understand Panther may have made the operating account info optional by now, or that is in their near term plan.)

Overall: This is an update to a previous review I made.

The folks at Panther are impressive. They've taken recommendations I and others have made and implemented them; they've quickly addressed issues I've had; and they are always courteous and responsive. The overall layout has vastly improved since my first review, and looks downright beautiful. We live by the search feature and it now works on custom fields. Custom fields can now also be listed in reports. You can now group custom fields so that you may show only those fields in a matter or contact that pertain to their specific situation. We have structured Panther so we can use it as a basic CRM...which is an immense work-flow savings for us. We asked for Dropbox integration and what they produced is perfect (considering the limitations of Dropbox). Time keeping is a snap and reachable from any screen. We asked to be able to a log call without assigning it to a matter, and they changed that so now we can. The tasking feature and its integration with the calendar is fantastic, I could not service so many clients without it. And the Panther folks have taken it on themselves to make some minor changes that have made the workflow of using the program much faster than in my previous review.

I now can answer the question I posed in my earlier review of whether I love or hate Panther: We love it. I admit that it's not perfect (a couple of basic features in billing need to be addressed before I am willing to use that portion of the program), but Panther saves us many hours a week. I tried many firm management products before settling on Practice Panther, and I am glad I stayed with them. It's already better than the others, and it keeps getting better all the time thanks to their team. You cannot go wrong choosing Practice Panther.

Final note: To my surprise one lawyer told me Panther seemed expensive. Really?! It seems well priced to me, and if you try to save a few dollars a month with some inferior product you will pay dearly for that choice in lost time.

Recommendations to other buyers: The learning curve for Practice Panther is very quick. You can be productive with the software in a matter of hours. But the main thing to settle on right up front is this: Will your clients be companies or persons? Figure that out first, then stick to your decision to make your future life be easier.

Comments: Before Practice Panther, my staff and I used a variety of cloud-based solutions to track leads, clients, matters and invoicing. Practice Panther has allowed us to consolidate each of those functions into one comprehensive solution. Now we don¿t have to have multiple tabs open in our browser or juggle several different workflows. I have no doubt that Practice Panther is saving my firm time and money nearly every day.

Comments: Before using Practice Panther I was using several different programs from Microsoft and Google to keep track of clients¿ information, funds, expenses, billable hours and my trust account. Comments: Prior to Practice Panther, I kept track of all of my matters in individual folders on my desktop, created separate folder in Outlook for emails, and created a spreadsheet for billing and costs. It was time-consuming, frustrating and often I made many mistakes. With the use of Practice Panther, I have every matter neatly organized into its own world. Comments: Before PracticePanther I was tethered to my mini-MAC (Apple) with an app for billing. I had to be sitting in my chair at work to log time. It was a billing program not designed for lawyers, especially lawyers with a blended hourly and contingency practice. I wanted to record my time on contingency cases, but I didn¿t want to bill. I had to come up with a work around to do that with the program. PracticePanther has solved the problems of having to come up with work arounds to fit my practice billing needs. Instead, it offers a program that has already anticipated my needs. There¿s options for billing hourly, contingency, and for billing less on different matters.
My favorite thing about PracticePanther is the ease of keeping track of my time.

Comments: Prior to switching our files over to PracticePanther our firm stored its files on a network drive. Now that we have PracticePanther each member of our firm is able to log into the system online. This has increased our firm¿s efficiency by allowing work to be completed from virtually anywhere without sacrificing the confidentiality of our clients. We are also able to view and delegate tasks to different office members from within the system, allowing us to better keep track of the tasks that have been completed and those that have not. Additionally, prior to PracticePanther we had to individually calendar each event and required filing. Currently, PracticePanther allows us to set up a workflow that automatically calendars our deadlines.

The task delegation aspect of PracticePanther has been the most useful as it helps keep the members of the FLP team on schedule and aware of the work being completed.

Comments: I left a large firm that used NetDocs, Rainmaker, Outlook 2013 and had excellent internal IT support. Practice Panther is actually much simpler and after an extensive search, I could not be happier with the product. It particularly has helped me stay organized by keeping my files electronically.

As our firm grows more and more every year with International clients needing tax advice, investment advice, setting up businesses in the US, buying real estate and developing real estate, we needed to find a way to determine what the firm was doing and where it was going. Comments: For two months, I couldn¿t find a practice management system that suited my needs for my new law firm. For most of them I was required to pay for extensive training in order to see if I liked the system. They were all too complex and not intuitive. I eventually came across Practice Panther on the recommendation of a friend. Everything changed. I downloaded it on Friday night. It became addictive. The software, in a caring and fun way, took me through, in real time everything that I needed to learn in order to drive Practice Panther. By Sunday night (yes, I gave up my weekend) I had moved my law firm to the new system. We launched it on Tuesday morning. We never looked back. I never paid for any training ¿ I didn¿t have to. There are extensive videos everywhere in the system.

I enjoy using Practice Panther, as I use it I get more out of it. It tricks you. At first it appears very simple to use, and it is, but then as you master something, a new benefit arises and you use that too. It teaches you in stages. It is a unique experience of learning. However, my two favourite things is the document assembly and the access to my own personal manager. As to document assembly, I got rid of secretaries in my old law firm in 1994, I believe in document assembly. Practice Panther allows me to create repeatable documents within minutes. Secondly, I am in Perth, Western Australia, that is exactly 12-hour difference in time from where Practice Panther is based in the USA. They are north and I am southern hemisphere, we couldn¿t be further apart. However, whenever I have a suggestion or a question, the same person (his name is Mor) bounces back an email or Skypes me. The guy must never sleep. They have passion at Practice Panther, and I like that. I like the excellent support.

It is very easy to use and can be customized to flow better than most other CRMs in the market.

Comments: We used CRMs before but they always lacked in certain areas to the point it became slower. For a while we have been using a combination of google services and windows folders which was cumbersome and old fashioned. It worked, but change was needed as business has started to grow and now a CRM with our requirements is available in Practice Panther. Practice panther makes invoicing easy. No more clumsy mail merge. Just add fields to the document and it produces a contract for the client. Being able to add matters to clients is a great feature for our returning clients every year.

Ease of use by far. I was able to set it up very quick and it can be customized to flow better than most other CRMs in this market. I had my company info integrated in less than an hour and after one day of use felt comfortable using the CRM.

PracticePanther allows me to centralize all of my tasks,events, billing, and documents in one place.

Comments: Before using PracticePanther, JAMISON LAW, LLC retained organization via a complicated mutli-tool system. Excel was for billing, Word for phone notes, Google Calendar for events, and tasks were kept on a constantly revised Word document. This was both complicated and cumbersome. Realizing the need for change, JAMISON LAW, LLC tried AmicusCloud. However, the AmicusCloud was costly for multiple users, required an Exchange account for an additional per user cost, and many features could not be used unless you switched over your email and server to their exchange. I was happy with my email servicer and did not want to change this over, and so unable to use many of the AmicusCloud features. Then I found PracticePanther! PracticePanther easily linked with my existing Google Calendar, so I could continue to view all of my events on my I-phone without adding yet another app. PracticePanther allows me to centralize all of my tasks, events, billing, and documents in one place. The Dashboard gives me a great overview all at a glance, and I have even switched over to the Box for easy document syncing. I still keep my original email servicer, but PracticePanther still allows me to email invoices to clients while retaining my original servicer. In short, it grants me full and easy access to everything I need, helps me track billing and banking information, helps me manage my time and information much more efficiently than using a multi-tool system, and all for a great cost.

My favorite PracticePanther feature is without a doubt the Dashboard. From the Dashboard, I can easily assess the firm¿s financial status, know all of my upcoming tasks, and see all calendar events for the day, week, or month. I can conveniently add tasks and events from the Dashboard, and mark tasks done as they are completed rather than having to go into each individual file. This is a great time-saver!

Our favorite feature is the the integration of ¿Box¿ for cloud based document storage.

Comments: Prior to purchasing Practice Panther our firm considered several other legal software programs. However, these other programs were twice as expensive and offered only one-half of the features and options of Practice Panther.

Comments: I love how easy it is to add relationships between contacts/matters, and how simple it is to enter time: just hit "stopwatch" and go!

I used to use an Excel spreadsheet to enter in my time and calculate the total time spent and the equivalent billings. I created invoices by hand, and relied on assorted/distributed notes in order to track each client matter. PracticePanther has automated a great deal of the administrative paperwork, and organizes my contacts and various matters.

Comments: My favorite thing about PracticePanther by far is the intuitive interface. I don't think you can overstate how important ease of use is in technology when it comes to platforms for legal professionals. Most of us are not well versed in business management software or in IT, so providing something that looks nice and professional while still offering a robust array of features that are easy to access and understand has immense value.

Previously, I used a few different piecemeal solutions to run my practice. The practice management software I used was robust, but not intuitive and did not provide the quality I was looking for across the board. I had to use separate programs for my billing, CRM, reference an outside calendar, and use an external tasking platform just because it was all so disjointed in my prior software. PracticePanther has helped change that by providing all of the above in an intuitive and beautiful platform, which has increased my efficiency and decreased some of my frustrations.

Comments: MRM Law Group¿s favorite thing about PracticePanther is the ability to categorize a client as a ¿lead.¿ There is often a period between meeting a potential client and that client hiring you. MRM¿s past timekeeping software did not have a good way to record any work done in that interim.

Before PracticePanther, MRM Law Group used several different companies for different services. File storage was one company, timekeeping and invoicing was another, firm business records was another, etc. The services often did not work well together, some were not tailor made for law firms, and with that many companies there seemed to always be some sort of tech-related problem with one of them. PracticePanther combines all of the different services into one package that has proven reliable, easy to use, inexpensive, and has added value to MRM¿s clients through its bottom line.

PracticePanther continues to enhance its software to make everything very streamlined.

Comments: Before PracticePanther, my organization was chaotic at best. All my information was stored in such apps as Trello, Evernote, Google Docs, Todo list managers, and other online storage sites. It became difficult to remember where everything was and what steps were next.Since utilizing PracticePanther, I have centralized all clients and matters. All documents, notes, tasks, and information can be found and easily shared with clients. No longer is there a need to check 5 or more places for the information, I know right where it is. PracticePanther has made myself and practice more efficient.

If I had to choose the biggest pro, it would be the email and document integration. Being able to automatically assign emails to specific clients and matters within PracticePanther so that I can see exactly what communications and documents are related to that issue is great! Second to that comes the Dashboard that shows me how much work I have completed and how much money I have made on a monthly basis is something I¿ve never had time to pay attention to before. It¿s great to see how I¿m trending for the month and drives me to improve each month to grow my practice.

Comments: I had a fairly rudimentary practice management system before joining Practice Panther (Google Business, Word, etc) ¿ a typical sole practitioner kind of approach because you wear so many hats! I realised I needed one simple, user-friendly platform with good security and functionality ¿ Practice Panther fit the bill.

I honestly love the intuitive design and user-friendly search functions. It just makes matter management, invoicing and billing an absolute breeze, rather than a hassle.

Comments: This software is compatible with all my devices and the layout morphs to fit each device without changing too much. I am definitely a fan of cloud base services, so that is always a plus. What I think really sold me on the software was the ease in which my paralegal picked up the program. It is definitely user friendly. Comments: We were looking for a software that could sync our emails automatically without having to drag them, label them, BCC them, or any other method we've seen thus far.

With this software we've been able to setup automatic rules in Outlook that automatically labels the emails to the necessary folders Practicepanther has created for us.

Once an email is received, we automatically see it in the clients page in the software. The result - no more need to ask the rest of the partners if they were in contact with the client.

After using it for over 2 months now, I can honestly say this has saved me more time then I ever imagined. Comments: As in-house counsel, one of my main tasks was making our department paper-free. I am happy to announce - the day has finally come thanks to PracticePanther!

By reducing the amount of clutter and paper, we're able to work significantly faster and collaborate more efficiently with our team. Comments: Security is the number one priority for our firm. With PracticePanther's security features that blocks users from certain parts of the software, as well as their military standard of encryption, our firm is much more protected then using an internal server. We needed to be HIPAA compliant and their Box.com integration allows our files to be hosted securely according to the HIPAA standards. All around great, easy, and safe.

Comments: As a real estate attorney, contracts and file management are extremely important and critical to my business. With PracticePanther I am able to securely save my files using the integrated Box.com app which allows me to preview files, make any changes, and have them sync directly to my desktop. The biggest selling point was the security and encryption as well as the option to link with my DocuSign account to upload contracts to get signed directly from the app. I also have the option of sharing certain documents or folders directly with my clients - a feature they've come to love when doing business with me.

I can work from anywhere - intuitive and user friendly.

Comments: My prior system was difficult to navigate and time consuming. Practice Panther has revolutionized my practice, saving me a considerable amount of time with its dynamic case management and invoicing system. I can access it from anywhere, it¿s intuitive, and user friendly.

It¿s ease of use, accessibility from any electronic device, stellar security and privacy controls, and the immediate and helpful responses I get from technical support when I have questions. It¿s an outstanding product.

Comments: I used a variety of applications, ranging from Excel and Quickbooks, to Word and Outlook. With Practice Panther, everything is done under one roof. I was organized before; now, I am more organized that I even knew was possible. Love Practice Panther.

Comments: Before PracticePanther, I was paying every month for one of the leading practice management softwares for solo practitioners, but did not use it because it was difficult to learn and was not user-friendly. Billing and invoicing seemed like chores before I started using PracticePanther. PracticePanther integrates seamlessly with my life; there is no learning curve because it is so intuitive and easy to use! I was able to start using Practice Panther the same day I signed up for it!

Comments: I was using a generic CRM before I came across Practice Panther through Twitter of all places. I decided to sign up for a free trial and the difference was evident from the start. I ended switching my firm from Microsoft Dynamics to Practice Panther in November and we couldn't be happier. The interface is easy to use and the other partners caught on right away.

Comments: All around friendly and personable company with excellent service whenever needed. After my initial demo, I was assigned an account manager to help with any questions and he is always extremely quick and responsive.

Pros would have to be:
1. Social feeds
2. Trust accounting
3. Nice design, easy to use
4. Secure and encrypted
5. Ability to work on my iPhone and track time
6. Great service when needed

Very friendly. Works great with Google apps.

Comments: Started using this for my firm as we moved away from our Outlook calendar and tasks to Google apps and needed a system to support that operation and transfer. We imported clients from both Outlook and Gmail and are now completely synced.

It only took a 20 minute demo to get us up and running.

Comments: We were referred by a colleague to try it 2 months ago and so far it's been working better then any other solution we've ever implemented. We like that everything is now encrypted and secured in the cloud, as opposed to our in-house servers that kept going down and were open to vulnerabilities. The software itself is fairly straightforward and easy to use.
