Pros: -ease of use
-excellent support
-I like the visual format

Cons: -would like to see cut and paste feature to use in product discription ( to import information from other sources)
-training is not offered often enough or close enough to make it affordable for our staff. Although the training we have had was excellent, we now have new staff members.

Overall: -I would highly recomend this product. It perfectly meets the needs of a main resource centre and our smaller school libraries.

Pros: As a county office of education, we serve schools and districts with print and online resources. Teachers order materials and we deliver them much the same as a small public library with 40K volumes to 3,500 patrons. We also, serve schools with a bookmobile. Other more costly systems wanted over $25K to write a small program to allow us to load data from the bookmobile. L4U provided the application at no cost. It is a real example of their willingness to serve their customers.

Cons: A little slow in rewriting the overdue letter configuration.

Overall: As always the help and assistance provided by your support has been exceptional and some of the best tech help experience I have had with over 6 different library automation systems.

Pros: The ease with which we loaded L4U is outstanding. The conversion of our systems was superbly and professionally handled which added in our move to L4U. Since then, we have found that this was, without a doubt, the right choice. As a school board, L4U is perfect for students of all ages, as well as the teachers and other support staff. The ease with which students and others can search is evident in the increased usage of our library catalogues. The possibilty to tailor the catalogue interface as the end user wishes, means that the kindergarten student as well as those doing additional qualification courses can use the same catalogue and conduct the same search. Lastly, I must acknowledge the outstanding help that I have recevied from L4U. I have worked with six different systems and I can honestly say that none are as professional --yet also friendly -- as L4U support.

Cons: NONE! And that says a lot!

Overall: Without a doubt, I highly recommend L4U. in fact, we were so caught with L4U that we now use it for our Board library.

Pros: Great features for school libraries. Very easy for inexperienced user to navigate. Customer service is both quick and knowledgeable, constant updates and offers many on-line services such as individual and group workshops.

Cons: I have'nt incountered any at present.

Overall: Excellent service, easy to use programs and High quality, timely tech support.
