Pros

Recently we lost our Smartaddresser coordinator to higher education. In the ensuing turnover of tasks, systems and materials, our update was lost during subscription renewal and we were dead in the water for NCOA jobs that kick off our work week. Everyone at SmartSoft fielded our calls for help and support and got us up and running far sooner than we could ever have anticipated. Thanks, guys!

Cons

We are east coast so our hours do not coincide seamlessly. But we work around it.

Overall

SmartAddresser with NCOA Link is an integral part of our business at A Direct Connection. We appreciate the consistant quality and support.

Pros

The most important feature about SmartAddressor for my company is the combination of scripting power and native Foxpro command programming. These two feature that are not found in anything else we have tried allow for the creation of very powerful automation, including both automated processing with watched folders and what we call "feet-up sorting".

Cons

SmartAddressor suffers from the same "follow my workflow" rigidness that every other postal processing software we've tried has. I can't say that its workflow is any better or worse than any other software, it is just the one we are used to. Tech support, although generally responsive, is not always capable of finding a solution.

Overall

SmartAddressor is the most cost effective choice if you are looking for lights-out automation capability. Satori doesn't come close, MailManager doesn't come close...
