Pros

Marketo makes your marketing successful and measurable assuming you use salesforce.com

as a sales guy, I did not like working with salesforce until Marketo was added to our system,

the lead nurture Programs and tracking mechanisms to see who downloads what whitepaper etc are part of my everyday sales activities

Marketo easily saves us .5 f t e so pays fir itself both on a revenue enhancement and cost reduction standpoint!

Cons

Did not have built in area code mapping to timezone

did have some periods of system down though not much worse than what I see with any hosted application

cost of product is rising fast so important to set up long term contract since value in year one is good but the calue in year two is huge...
