the concept is good

this emr is severely underdeveloped and the ease of use is poor. i have sent literally hundreds of errors over the past few years and many are still not corrected. when i purchased this program i was told it would be compliant with the upcoming federal regulations. Now that they have the certification they are wanting me to pay over 3x the original amount in the contract. This emr has cost our office countless man hours in duplicating exams on paper due to the inabilities in their software. The contact lens and inventory portions are no where near complete and its been almost 3 years. The support staff has very limited knowledge about optometry only some knowledge about their software.
when we started they wanted me to have specific server requirements now less than 3 years later they want me to change to an entire now server config(which i tried to get then but they couldnt support 2008 at the time)!!
Overall
very unsatisfied with the emr. wouldnt recommend to others and considering changing. What i was "sold" and what i received are definately not the same product. for a mere $10,000($3600 upgrade fee and ~$7000 in increased monthly fees) i can get the certified version of what i was told i was getting to begin with. Save yourself the time energy and money go with a different emr with more experience and expertise.
