Pros: Mobile capability is excellent. Great value for the money. Wonderful ability to track projects and open opportunities. And produce reports.

Cons: Mobile app lags a bit. Also the interaction with the Phone application on the iPhone could function smoother. You have to push three different buttons in order to make a phone call through the application.

Overall: The ability to access my entire CRM through my smart phone.

Pros: Can't beat the price to start. I also really like the task management and custom field functions of this software.

Cons: I did not have any email marketing integration which is important for my business. Could use some improvements in the mobile version.

Overall: Keeping track of all prospects, customers, and past customers.

Cons: Support is horrendous. They constantly make excuses and blame the end users.

They have serious server issues yet will not admit it. The site is ridiculously slow most of the time.

A new excuse they've started to use is that since they're a "startup" (they're not) they have limited resources.

They promise features that take forever to see the light of day and most will never be developed.

We switched to Zoho and couldn't be happier.

Great CRM, Lots of automations and flexibility.

Pros: I like how robust this software is, its very complete woth pipelines lead managment. Round robin lead distribution is nice. Automation tools give you anlot of flexibility without having to rely on outside integrations like zapier. Zapier integration works nicely though it can do a lot.

Cons: the lead distribution is awesome, but only allows for round robin distribution of leads, it would be nice to see that change to some sort of ratio like 1:2, that sort of thing.

Overall: The price point and ability in this software is increadible. This is a very complete CRM

Pros: It is very easy to use. I self taught myself how to use it within a few days. I like the ability to link the CRM to your emails so that correspondence with clients is automatically added to their profile.

Cons: There really isn't anything I don't like. Perhaps the fact that you can't have groups of clients, but rather tags can get a little cumbersome.

I use Insightly to keep our real estate business organized.

Pros: This is my CRM, plus I can track leads, property inventory, offers & contract to close using completely customizable pipelines. I can set reminders to be emailed to me. Tasks can be generated automatically. Files & notes can be added, so everything concerning a property is easily accessible. Plus, multiple users can have access.

Cons: Once you set it up, it's very user friendly but it does take a small time commitment to customize it. It's worth the set up time because once it's in place, it's a time saver.

Overall: Better organization & information at my fingertips

Excellent CRM with robust features. Great for established businesses as well as start-ups.

Pros: Easy to use with a manageable learning curve. My wife and business partner who is not very technologically savvy was able to learn the core features very quickly. Excellent customer support and database of tutorial videos. Excellent integration with Gmail allowing one to seamlessly import emails into Insightly. Intuitive layout.

Cons: You have to save a profile that you are creating in order to add an image of the contact. Makes for an added step that when adding multiple contacts can take up a significant amount of time.

Overall: Helps us to better manage our business, from contacts to opportunities.

Pros: It's pretty simple to get started. The concepts are relatively straightforward and the interface is smooth, so getting your contacts entered (or even uploaded) is easy.

Cons: The icons can make differentiating between leads and contacts confusing. Maybe it's just me, and my lack of a sales background, but I frequently find myself incorrectly entering leads under contacts and vice versa.

Overall: Tracking the best opportunities to grow my business.

Insightly is a CRM product that allows me to manage relationships and projects effectively.

Pros: Insightly lets me know when I have a new customer to begin a relationship with immediately. This helps me to reach out and build rapport quickly. Strike while the iron is hot!

Cons: The organization of the different categories leaves me feeling disjointed at times. I would like to be able to see ALL information at a glance together.

Overall: It keeps me in contact with my customers. I can follow up with them and all activity is logged automatically. It makes keeping a record of my contacts easy!

Pros: Price, ease of use for CRM newcomers.

Cons: Workflow, leads management is clunky at best.

Overall: Insightly is a great choice for small businesses that are just starting out in the world of CRM platforms. It's got the basics down pat, while missing some of the bells and whistles of the better known platforms on the market. The end-user experience is a bit choppy (in terms of flow and intuitiveness - from a sales and marketing perspective) but for the price, it's a decent choice for teams without a dedicated sales staff.

Overall: It's a good tool for the sales and marketing team to use when collaborating on projects. The sales team can use Insightly to keep a track of all the sales activities and see where a prospective client is placed on the sales cycle. The marketing team can use Insightly to update more information on prospective clients after carrying out a series of marketing activities. It is a great project management tool.

Recommendations to other buyers: - If a feature is confusing, check the FAQs. They are very helpful.

Overall: Our company has started to use Insightly as our CRM and have had good experience with the software. Our only wish is to have email, chat or phone customer service. The only provision available is online blog questions.

Pros: Tons of features like task assignments, activity sets for recurring actions, and gmail integration make this invaluable to us. Also, they have tons of video tutorials that are very well done.

Cons: We've been using Insightly for about 1.5 years now and I don't have any complaints.

Overall: We searched long and hard for a CRM that would help us organize and run more efficiently. I can't tell you how happy we are with Insightly. The workflow automation saves us untold hours. We use the Project and Task list extensively to keep our team on task and to keep from missing a single detail. I've referred Insightly to several other businesses who came to love it, too. If you're looking for a powerful CRM that won't break the bank, this is the one you want.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would definitely recommend this to any business looking for a powerful CRM.

Pros: It's ability to organize projects, assign tasks to people, and house all the information in one shareable place is useful. It also has the ability to take an email and make it a task.

Cons: It's useful but overall we found it wasn't "easy" enough to use and it wasn't adopted consistently among everyone in our Company.

Overall: Our company used nightly for about a year. It helped us keep projects organized by allowing us to outline the steps, assign people to tasks, and send automatic reminders.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure its features are something everyone wants and needs before jumping into it.

Pros: Great features like calendaring and event scheduling. Also, the task dashboard report that keeps you up to date on what you need to do.Comes in handy when you have a busy schedule.

Overall: Insightly is easy to use and great for tasks and follow-ups. The biggest frustration is that it does not link to QB. This would be a next big step to make it a game changer.

Comments: We use Insightly to manage the sales leads and track various stages of a certain customer contract. It is a good tool for the job, but sometimes the setup becomes too complicated, specially for a nontechnical sales force, it could become unusable at some times. Overall, good features specially API integration from a web form.

Pros: Free for small teams

Cons: Doesn't have lots of features.

Overall: Because we are a small team we use the free version of the software. Is helpful if you would like to organize yourself and offer a lot of integrations like Gmail but I believe that is missing some features to be a complete product and not make you jump from a solution to another. E.g. I wish to be clear when you add a partner and a client and have the options to add more info about them.

Overall: We have been using Insightly for about a year. Its integration with gmail has been a big time saver and enhancement to our ability to track and respond to clients. It is easy to use and setup and its web based which means everyone has access to it and it requires no downloads or update on individual computers.

Recommendations to other buyers: We use Insightly and Hubspot together to fulfill our needs. Insightly as our main CRM and Hubspot to track emails. It takes a bit to get used to having them both in gmail, but it works well!

Cons: Lacking a little bit of automation, defaults around sales processes. Would like to support custom fields from all types of elements, opportunities, contacts, orgs in their pandadoc integration.

Overall: Some more sophistication to go on their pandadoc integration but overall pretty happy with Insightly.

Cons: Reporting could be better. Email could be better so that you lose the need to use another email client.

Cons: Interface could use a refresh

Overall: We have used Insightly in our business for the past year. It allows us to maintain an easy workflow without being too process heavy. Some systems try to force you to do too much and you spend more time setting them up than communicating with your prospects and clients. We have not discovered any bugs or issues. The software works as we expect it to. We like the Chrome extensions that allow us to integrate our CRM with our Google Apps account.

Comments: I have used other CRM's in the past and I really do love Insightly. It's easy to use, very intuitive, love the email linking, task lists, calendar... you name it.

They also get emails if someone assigns you a task and their newsletters are relevant to your sign up date. Obviously, if I signed up a week ago I need help uploading my contacts and setup, and that was the subject matter of the first few newsletters I received along with personal emails from Loretta who is fantastic!

Comments: Insightly is a great cloud based CRM with a custom API that allows for great customization, and integration with other applications. Also their customer service is very quick with there responses to cases and incidents. Finally, their community is large and well set-up so that users can go on there to discuss issues that they are having or successes that they have had. All-In-All, they have created a great platform to manage your customer relationships.

Comments: After comparing Insightly to CRM/project mgmt tools out there, I'm really impressed at how easy-to-use the site is, and one of the biggest deals for us was being able to link multiple people to one organization and vice versa. That's surprisingly tricky to do with other platforms, so I'm really grateful that this is standard with their site. Really love how customizable the site is overall and the functionality is easy for people at all skill levels. Thanks again for the great product!

Comments: Having tried all major CRM tools (and I am old enough to have started with Siebel), I was looking for something that's simple, intuitive, mobile friendly and easy to use. Insightly rocks in every possible way and more.
1) Easiest setup and customization
2) Very cool integration with Google (Google Docs / Calendar / Contacts). Import contacts and viola - its all there.
3) Intuitive UX - the "News" tab scrapes the web to find latest updates and the Contacts syncs with LinkedIn / all major social media.
4) The best part = its iOS mobile app. If you like the web, you will even love the app.

Thank you insightly - you are awesome. I did not need to try the customer service and tried leaving the "Customer Service" rating open but the review site mandates it.
