If you are having time in recruiting IT or Executive positions, is the best companion to guide and help you!

Pros

I have been using as one of my alternative sourcing tool in recruiting. ZipRecruiter makes it easier for me to finish the candidate search, because once you post your job opening in ZipRecruiter it will open a great door to receiving a lot of candidates. ZipRecruiter is very helpful because some great fits doesn't have any linkedin accounts so ZipRecruiter enabled me to connect with them. What I also like about ZipRecruiter is the ability to indicate a follow up question to the applicants by just merely provisioning it on ZipRecruiter which is every helpful for me in avoiding phone interviews to prospect candidates - saves my time!

Cons

I don't have anything negative to comment regarding . Maybe one that they can improve on is putting templates or design that those who are subscribed on their platform can make their job posting nice and compelling!

The PROS with this product is that allows you to get notifications of jobs that you're interested in without going to the website continuously.

Cons

One of the cons on this product is sometimes they are not that accurate as far as the positions that you may be interested.

### "Not as helpful as I thought"

While zip recruiter did help me find many job postings, the postings that came up in my searches did not always apply to the position that I was looking for nor did they necessarily apply to the search dates and I was therefor often shown postings for jobs that were more than a month old and would likely not even be available anymore. The site was not nearly as helpful in finding a job as I thought it would be.

Pros

is easy to use and it does provide a decent amount of employment opportunity postings.

Cons

My biggest issue with is the reliability of the employment opportunities listed. Many times I have seen job postings and clicked on them only to find that they were actually misleading staffing agency postings that were posted in order to lure people into applying for a job that did not exist. Also, I did often find job postings that did not fit within the search range that I had put in as far as the date of the job posting was concerned.

### "Ziprecruiter: As A Job Marketing Platform for Advertisers in Programmatic"

was used in a programmatic buy in order to post job ads for some particular clients. However, the simplicity of the product didn't allow for optimization and slow response times led this to be a somewhat back burner type of platform. To elaborate, the importance of Ziprecruiter in overall buys was thought as 3rd tier and was usually an afterthought where if there was extra budget, this avenue would be explored. The performance was generally lower as well compared to the other larger job aggregate sites.

Pros

The dashboard was simple, hence it was easy to navigate and use. It was by far the simplest one to navigate through between the big job posting programmatic platform: Indeed, Glassdoor, Monster, and . However, this easiness of navigation and usage also comes with its own drawbacks.

Cons

The simplicity was both positive and negative. From a negative perspective, the dashboard simply displayed basic metrics and there isn't a section on the backend to manually pull any levers to increase performance or test out optimizations. If changes were needed to be made, this always required reaching out to a rep which would be tedious since their response times were slow and they generally gave very basic suggestions.

### "Great but check the filters"

Overall they do a very good job and I am always wondering how many people that my resume even makes it to. They say that employers "see" my resume but I don't know if they just get an email or actually read what I put. So you are never really sure if you are just spinning your wheels.

Pros

This is a great tool to see what jobs are available in your area or others. The description for each job is very good and I enjoy the estimated salaries that they publish.

Cons

One has to be very careful with the filters. If you are looking for a job in an area you may get jobs that are either months old because they are sponsored ads or you will get something that is 100's of miles away because it says the job is in the USA and not just your area.

Overall, I love Zip. It is a really easy platform to use. I use the 2 free listings that are part of my ADP package, and the company also purchased additional listings as well

Pros

The ease of use, functionality, and seamless transition to my career site makes zip recruiter one of my favorite tools. I use Zip through my ADP Run platform. As one of our tools in the suite, I can easily post jobs or search resume from within the ADP software. I love this feature!

Cons

I can't really think of a dislike. I've found that I have good quality candidates. Oh, there is one thing. I recently posted a job that required a person to be a licensed practical nurse or higher. I set a screening question. I thought that this would filter out those that weren't LPNs. It did not. It simply showed me that they failed at this question. Now, this could be my mistake - maybe I didn't set the parameters right. However, I don't want to see people that I'm screening away from

I think it is a great platform for recruiters and job seekers. I am fascinated by the way the algorithm works by going through the resumes and matching people to the right jobs. Also, the fact that they are always updating their website with new jobs and immediately notifying everyone is highly commendable. I will definitely recommend

Cons

I think their should be more broad by having vacancies from all over the world, especially in Africa. People from that Region struggle to have jobs from there.

### "More inbound candidates? Try ZipRecruiter"

is a great help for all our recruitment needs. ZipRecruiter is best used for executive positions but downplays its essence in terms of rank and file recruitment.

Pros

We are using in our company since it gives us a steady stream of inbound candidates. Sourcing on LinkedIn, and sending outreach emails to candidates are a good deal since by that process we have already screened the candidates. However, not all candidates are found on LinkedIn. Almost half of interested candidates that we process for our company openings especially in our Executive Search arm are from ZipRecruiter. I like the functionality of ZipRecruiter that you can include qualifying questions to your job posting. It is like a first line of defense to weed out unfit and not really interested candidates.

Cons

The only bottleneck I have with is that the templates for posting are cynical. You can't really incorporate much design that will make the job posting interesting. I hope ZipRecruiter steps up its game, and be mindful that most job hunters now are millennial, and they need to ramp up in terms of being responsive to the modern candidate pool

Zip Recruiter is the easiest to use and most functional recruiting software. Take advantage of your customer service rep. They are able to get you great bundles, and really help you narrow down your search to areas that will bring you the most candidates.

Pros

Zip Recruiter has an easy to use dashboard that puts everything right in front of you. I like being able to filter candidates by ratings, or if they have been unrated.

Cons

When you open up the candidates screen, it opens up a "view" of a candidate. That candidate is told you have viewed their resume, even if you are not interested. I have had a few people reach out that I have looked at their resumes, that were not right for the job.

Cons

The opposite of what I like, people can submit resumes using the 1 tap to apply and I’m not sure if they even read my job description or what I’m looking for. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reached out and I was questioned about who I was and why I’m calling. If you’re applying for a job, I would hope you not only keep track but make sure you’re applying for a position that you’re qualified for. Not just because zip recruiter says so

### "ZipRecruiter Review"

On a scale of 1-10, I would give them an 8.

Pros

I like the platform; Posting Jobs-Managing the post - the ease of doing it. I worked with a Rockstar Account Manager named in 2018 who was amazing. She helped me elevate my account and guided me through a very busy time we had in our business. She taught me how to GEO target my posts. With her guidance - we received some excellent candidates that went onto secure positions with our retained clients.

Cons

Cons: The "perfect match" candidates they send me based on my post and algorythms. They NEVER match what I need. In fact they are very random. The add ons to boost a post or sponsor a post is about more $. For a small firm every dollar counts and I feel at times a company of this size should do something for the LOYAL customer base to keep us and not just deals or promotions to get new clients in the door. If they kept all of us with a Loyalty reward program of some kind that would be appreciated.

My overall experience with was a great. I recommend it to people all the time. The One-Click-Apply feature is a great bonus. ZipRecruiter is definitely an asset for anyone job-searching these days. A great resource!

Pros

The One-Click Apply feature is my absolute favorite! Job Applications are laborious at times. Filling in the same information repeatedly can be so draining. One-Click Apply makes job applications seamless! I also felt like there was a healthy volume of jobs to choose from, second only to Indeed. Zip Recruiter was a large part of my life during my job search. I am thankful for it.

Cons

Unfortunately, I had several issues with my resume saving properly. Sometimes when I would apply for a job, I would have to use my zip recruiter resume and not my own resume file and it did not always save properly. When applying for a job, your resume needs to be very polished. I was sometimes concerned that my resume might have formatting issues when applying with Zip Recruiter.

With this kind of program, there's nothing that is perfect...it comes with pros and cons. Overall i think it's good...not great, but for a low price service it's pretty decent.

Pros

Overall it's a decent software. It's easy to navigate and it's pretty intuitive to use. It's better I think if you are looking for a job than posting a job. There are lots of jobs posted so again if you are looking for work then it's great.

Cons

As someone posting jobs, there was a huge price increase that caught me off guard. There's lot of competition as an employer as there are many similar jobs. And from the flip side, when looking for working there are lots of nonsense jobs that could even be a scam...so just proceed with caution.

### "Free trial wasn't worth it..."

High hopes for drawing excellent candidates from their fancy pants candidate pool were dashed upon the rocks with laughter at our piddly, near-empty pockets. Save your time and start and stick with Indeed insetad!

Pros

Peppy advertising, flashy website, and lauding the ease and amazing results of their product drew me in when selecting a hiring website for my expanding company. But the free trial had a lot less features than you realized it did and it was painfully obvious looking at search results, which companies were "cheapie freebie" users and which ones shelled out the cash...not that I diasgree with the premise as a whole but some "company-size based" pricing would have been a lot more helpful in pulling my business than treating me as less than because I could afford less than.

Cons

The "free trial" was such a dismal defeat and the other sites we used (Indeed particularly), that Zip basically was forgotten about on their own. They didn't come knocking on my email inbox in any attempt to persuade and communicate with me at all. They didn't care I didn't like the pricing, they just moved their time to someone else who could.

My overall experience with would be that its a really great app to download on your phone when looking for a job! Even customer service is fast responding and will help work with your needs when applying for a job .

Pros

What i liked most about this software was that I could easily make my resume one Time and than when applying for jobs on zip recruiter all i had to do was click apply and it sent all the info over to the specific job I was applying for. Time,speed and the outcome of me getting a job were all pros of this software.

Cons

I have to say the only thing i didn't quite like about zip recruiter was the amount of jobs available on this software. I would probably suggest adding more jobs. Keeping up with the amount of jobs hiring. I do think that would be the only con i can think of for this specific software.

### "Great Recruiting Platform, Would Recommend"

My overall experience with has been great, as I was able to land a great hire every time I used this service to search for candidates. The resume filtering feature is fantastic and makes for a very efficient and simple process. Overall, it has saved time and effort for me and, as such, I would absolutely recommend it to others.

Pros

What I like most about this software is the clear-cut ease of use when it comes to being able to post a job listing. The questions asked during the posting process all seem reasonable and provide for a thorough posting which will attract proper candidates while excluding most of those who probably would not be the best fit for the position. I also very much like the fact that this is a popular site used by applicants when they are in search for a job position, and as a result, you receive many, many submissions to choose from on virtually a daily basis. In short, being able to find the right hire tends not to be a problem when using , and that of course is the bottom line. As a result, I have nothing but high regard for this service.

Cons

I find it difficult to point out anything negative as it relates to what the service is intended to do, but I do think that the pricing could be a bit more reasonable, as similar services tend to charge a little less on a per-posting basis than does this particular service. I do have to say though that the slightly higher charge might be worth it based on the amount of prospective hires you receive, so it really depends on the users' perspective on whether they feel the charge is appropriate for the service. I think it is more or less reasonable, but still could be made more cost-efficient, if at all possible.

I've used zipper recruiter throughout the years off and on to look for work and I like the Way ZIP recruiter allows me to go in and submit my resumes without having to fill out all the applications the ease of it is great that's what I really like about this particular program.

is one of the best online job search engines!

Cons

I really don't have anything to say bad about the software because I don't use it everyday and when I have used it it work with me about what I needed for and so it has an ease of being able to submit my resume to an employer without having to fill out applications directly that's a feature that I like so I don't really have anything bad to say about the software I don't have anything in my memory to to say bad.

One of the best sites I say to look for work out there that gives the user the ease of clicking and splitting. Looking for a job is stressful enough and you need to market yourself out there by putting in those applications at a larger scale. I highly recommend this site. Get your job search/hunt done in 20 minutes!

Pros

For one, the fact the site is absolutely free and has no strings attached when you are sending out applications. It is a stress-free website that has a user-friendly interface making it much easier to make customizations to your account, without searching everywhere. When you are out looking for a job, you don't want to waste so much time on ONE application, when let's be real, we need to put out 20 or 30 to get considered. This site actually allows you to click and split!

Cons

Some of the ads can be annoying getting you to apply to some marketing agency. But just make sure to really read the description before clicking.

I have had great success with the quality of this service/software. I will continue, as well as my company, to use this feature and benefit to help grow my office, as well as sourcing and recruiting candidates for my company. I am overall very impressed with the ease of use, and the total functionality of the software. has been an important part of the staffing industry, and a key element to my business growth.

Pros

's software and functionality is second to none when it come to ease of use and overall productivity and response time. I always receive ample amount of candidates for the staffing and recruiting industry. And the software is overall the EASIEST I have used for sourcing and recruitment compatibility.

Cons

Their customer service and troubleshooting training is a bit sub par, but overall, when it comes down to it, there could be far worse. Sometimes it is difficult to get an answer right away if there is a technical issue that crops up. Also, there are FAR too many candidates that respond to a posting or requisition that are coming from totally DIFFERENT countries. I can't get a job for someone who lives in Saudi Arabia. So that is annoying on a whole.
