Pros: I really love the automated emails that I receive for bookings and reminders. It helps me streamline my day and get our employees on board to who needs to do what. When running a business, it's nice to trust that customers are being followed up with!

Cons: I don't like the jump in price from the basic to the next tier. Abandoned bookings are the big selling point and I feel it's a bit invasive if you ask someone why they didn't book or come back about "is there anything I can do to help you." It makes it look like you're spying on them a bit.

I recently moved 4 tour companies onto Xola from other options and I am happy to never look back!

Pros: My favorite thing about Xola has been the extremely knowledgeable and speedy support staff always being at the ready via email, phone or 24hrs a dang day via chat. I can not tell you how key it is to understand that hours of need to not happen between 9-5 somestandardtime but can happen at anytime. To me, having someone there to bounce questions and issues or even just log a feature request is key compared to the many other software companies that offer lame "help/knowledge bases" or "video tutorials" you can search forever and still not find what you need.

I also appreciate that they are not resting on their laurels when it comes to updates and feature additions. Since I have been using Xola since Jan 2017 they have released many updates that actually have workflow function compared to "Wow.. we made it so you can add emoji's to your email signature" type of stuff I have suffered through as "function upgrades" on other platforms.

Lastly I really like that the software has the ability to be cross platform and mobile and you can still have full functionality. It is helpful that they are working towards upgrading the app as they go so more actions can be tackled through there as well.

Cons: The mobile app for android at least could really use a "refresh" feature like on the web so I can swap between company accounts easier than restarting the app.

The guide management is a growing feature so I hope more develops there sooner than later which is more about my personal workflow needs than anything else.

Lastly, it is not something that has as much to do with Xola as it does with Google in that the subscribed calendar feature Xola offers does not work well with the way google imports them so I would love to see a push style calendar notification instead so those not on apple products are not left with inaccurate calendars. Again more a Google screw up than Xola but I really really want xola to rework the calendar notification option so it can integrate better cross-platform.

Overall: Slicker guest interface as well as a more intuitive and cleaner user interface for staff.

This system has changed our business and our lives. Glad we found Xola.

Pros: The App is very user friendly for our instructors to use.
Clients have found it simple to use.
Once implemented the system is terrtfic. It saves alot of time for clients and staff in admin.

Cons: Setup time and knowledge to use the systems back end needs 1:1 support with a tech person.
Training of our admin could be workshops online with YouTube tutorials etc?

Overall: Efficiency for admin staff and clients.
Money transferes to our accounts quickly.
Information is gathered at time of booking

Originally our company worked with Fulgen, when switching over it was simple. Everything was easier

Pros: I like that you can have everything in one screen when doing reservations. You can change the amount of guest, the date, time, everything!

Cons: Editing some of the guest names or emails is a little tricky to figure out. It definitely takes a littl bit to get use to, but is well worth the switch!

Overall: The ease of scheduling tours and being able to have everything in one place

I like Xola and I often recommend it. It is very user friendly

Pros: When training new hires, it sure makes that easy, since it is so intuitive. It's a 1000x better than our old system of pen and paper and it seems to me to be better than Fareharbor.

Cons: I least like the iOS app. I like that there is an app, but it seems to be missing a lot of the features available through the website on my browser. I don't expect every single feature to be available and maybe there is more than I'm aware of, but I definitely think the app could use some work.

Pros: Love how easy it is to use and customize to our business. Love the price and all we get for the price we pay.

Cons: We don't have one specific thing that we don't like. There are little nuances here and there but with the new updates you are always coming up with our concerns are usually remedied.

Website is near perfect, the mobile app could use some updates allowing it to function like website.

Pros: I like the way it allows you to keep tabs on visits to "book now" and works to reconcile abandoned bookings.

Cons: The fact that you can't see communication with clients unless you navigate into the messenger column, it makes keeping track of weekly reminder functions difficult.

OH! I absolutlely love my XOLA software. I find it almost intuitve ! So rare for me!

Pros: It makes sense. And if there is a time that it doesn't allow me to do things the way I might want to them, the alternative provided, still makes sense. I also REALLY like that it integrates our bookings from other sources such as Viator.

Overall: Potential walk guests can book on-line and I'm not in a panic becasue the software takes care of it all! It's totally easy to understand. And on those few occassions when it isn't easy to understand, the service staff are right there and incredible!

Pros: The overall layout looks very clean like a polished outline. The organization of details (which parts matter the most like costs, names, and times) is very well-thought out. The features are easy to find.

Cons: It's difficult to make adjustments or last minute changes that do NOT get saved. If you want to update something, it's response time is slow or it does not acknowledge the change at all.
Also, it's annoying how clicking on one booking appointment suddenly changes the whole format without an option of going back. I have to refresh the whole web page to go back to the general layout of bookings for the week.

Overall: It's fairly easy to use. My boss uses it to organize times and payment for our escape room bookings.

Pros: Keeps me updated with any changes that might happen during the day. It also gives me all information I might need. Like name, age, height, if they booked any add one and any special notes I might need to make the clients happy.

Cons: Mobile app I can not see if they signed a waiver. My computer I can see if they signed a waiver. When I'm not in cell range I can not get updates. When day goes by it is hard to find information on past bookings. Like email adress.

Pros: I love the professional look of Xola compared to the other booking software options available for my industry. The setup process was very simple because I was assigned a specialist that literally walked me through the entire process.

Cons: I had to think for a long time to come up with something to write in this category. The only thing I can think of is that I wish it was a bit easier to use from my Android phone. When I try to access the site from my phone everything stays tiny rather than automatically formatting. This may be an issue with my particular phone or me as the operator. Neither would surprise me.

Overall: I love the easy booking process from all user points. It's easy for me to book from the back office and it's easy for my customers to select exactly what they are looking for. Easy booking process equals more bookings. More bookings equals more revenue!

Pros: The ease of use and the support. The software has evolved and it is offering many more options making it more user friendly. The staff through the Chat portal have been great!

Cons: I would like a better means to integrate the Smartwaiver signatures to the specific bookings, if signed prior to tour on iPad.

Pros: - Ease of registering a new group
- Flexibility in creating different tour experiences
- Usability across different check-in platforms (phones, computers, tablets, etc.)

Cons: - Mobile app: Adjusting a group size or editing a booking is not always possible/typically buggy, which can be stressful when a tour is about to begin within a few minutes and a group is trying to check in for their tour.
- Heavy focus on financial info: While this is undoubtedly useful information for tour programs that sell merchandise or charge for their experiences, I would like to see more detailed analytics on attendance info rather than just financial info.

Overall: Organized and comfortable experience for guests, professional atmosphere (moving from paper sign-in sheets to Xola), ability to see bookings update during a weekend shift, ability to check my private tour schedule from home

Pros: Ease of use online and how easy the software is to load and reserve. The software is clean and efficient.

Cons: I don't like the limitations of the web app. I also need to be able to send a reservation link to guests who have saved a date but didn't pay immediately online. I need to be able to book a date out on the back end and send a booking link to guests to pay online instead of having to have them call in.

Overall: Ease of booking.

Pros: It's very customizable and easy to teach to employees. It has a very nice, clean look on the front end and easy for my customers to navigate.

Cons: The app needs some more features. I would like to be able to do more to each reservation with the app. Sometimes you're away from your computer and need to make adjustments to your tour. The app isn't too capable of handling all the needs.

Overall: More customers and a more professional website.

Pros: nice and reliable, good not to have any red color in the theme, it loads fast and works on different platforms

Cons: coupon function is placed in a not easy to find location, android apps are strange , no reason why do you have two of them when none of them is perfect

Pros: I enjoy the ease of opening and closing tours. I also enjoy the amount of control in providing variety and special circumstances to patrons.

Pros: The way it looks to the customer booking the experience including the emails the customer receives . I like how it doesn't charge the customer extra like some other software

Pros: Great customer support!

There are many features that fit well and the capability to modify many aspects of bookings through the software is beneficial. The customer service is second to none. Highly recommend the system for this aspect.

Cons: The software could use more visual aspects, while the engine is quite powerful it can often be confusing to navigate from the perspective of client and booking agent.

Overall: Better customer retention.

Pros: Both the customer facing checkout AND the backend are easy to use and look nice. I love that each reservation has a timeline of actions so you can see who made a change and when. The Google Analytics tracking is super helpful and very easy to set up. Also, Xola regularly releases new features and upgrades existing ones that are actually useful!

The customer support at Xola is really the best feature of all. It is easy to reach someone via chat at almost any time. You can easily access help articles from the dashboard. The people that work there are so helpful and can almost always help you find a good solution to whatever issue you may have.

Cons: I wish Xola integrated with Google Adwords and not just analytics (perhaps this is already in the works as they recently updated their analytics integration).

My customers are able to book, buy gift certificates and access class choices 24-7.

Pros: It seems to work well with first time customers as well as return customers. I have noticed that people who are not computer savvy can use the booking and find availability that will fit with their schedule.

Cons: Not with the xola software, but with my ability to keep up with computers in general. I personally have come to the realization that I need someone to assist with the booking and data entry to free me up to teach.

Overall: It has helped to relieve the numerous phone calls related to bookings. Than you xola.

Pros: The software is very intuitive to use and they continually seem like they are adding valuable new features. Even on weekends I will get a response usually within hours or even minutes.

Cons: I wish it had more mobile functions that I could do from my phone that I need to do from the computer but even many of these have gotten better recently.

Pros: The product is awesome. The employees always call back on time and they always try to find a answer.

Cons: Its hard for me to separate taxes and county for my accountant. Please fix this issues its hard on business in Arkansas

Pros: On-line, simple to use and excellent customer service. The analytical features make reporting and record keeping much simpler than before.

Cons: I wish it was in multiple languages so our customers can book their tour in their language.

Overall: simplicity, we are more organized, the guest experience is much better. The responsiveness and customer service from XOLA is excellent.

Pros: We needed to quickly find a new booking software provider, and after evaluating several other choices, we chose Xola. Xola's product was functional from the outset. The transition team did an amazing job of importing our existing bookings and customer database. They provided training and support at a personal level that was greatly appreciated. There has been no down time and the response to minor hiccups has been very fast and completely effective. There are features that we would like to have, and Xola has been adding functionality on a regular basis, so the product we are using today is significantly more sophisticated than the product we started with, with no increase in price.

Cons: We do a significant amount of business with gift certificates, especially during the Christmas/Chanukah/New Years season. We didn't have an easy way to offer discounts on gift certificates last year, but that functionality has now been added.

Overall: Ease of implementation, excellent functionality, and great value.

Pros: It is user friendly. Our customers can book an event- usually without any problems.
It is easy for ys ti go in and maje any changes we need.
Overall, we are satisfied.

Pros: The customer service is a 10 star, no exceptions, easy, intuitive, simple and the software is by far the most up to date!

Cons: At times it can be tricky to do certain get around and fix awkward mistakes, thankfully there is a great team waiting to help at any time of the day.

Pros: Versatility is great for what we do. Payment service has always been prompt and accurate and refunds have been a breeze.

Cons: Reporting could be a little more in depth with more options and exclusions. The inventory function has been a bit buggy at times.

Pros: Hated dealing with refunds on Zozi because of the booking fee charged to guests. Love the straightforward nature of knowing what the guest pays since there's no guest booking fee on Xola.

Love the continued development and refinement of UX in the Xola product - constantly getting better and richer.

Cons: The mobile app version could use some love to have more feature parity to the web version. There are a fair number of things you can't do in the mobile app but I just pull up the web version on my mobile browser.

Pros: From the initial inquiry to this day, Xola and the entire team are professional, accessible, knowledgeable and user friendly.

Cons: The selection of the type of trips offered is small but I believe as they grow and receive feedback this will expand. Overall this is a minor, back link issue.

Overall: Clients book right away. My sales are up 116% more by having an online booking system.

Pros: The software is easy to use and mostly intuitive. Over the past few years a number of features have been added to make it more user friendly. Customer service is very responsive. Site has very few "down" times and only the occasional issue with international customers having interface issues. Overall, we are pleased.

Cons: There is still room for improvement. The two most annoying issues are: occasionally clients make errors entering contact email information. I cannot edit the email to help customer if they are a return client (we have a 70% return rate). System will not allow edit to a preexisting email address. Second, have have 40+ guides. There is no way to alphabetize the list of my guides when assigning them to tours. They are listed in order of joining my team. This ends up making guide assignment cumbersome. Finally, Xola is expensive. I am reluctant to have customers pay a 6% additional fee and absorb cost myself. That cost is significant and concerning.

Overall: Advance purchase and daily ACH deposits are great. Having client emails will be helpful too.

Pros: I like that it doesn't take much time to book a customer. The user interface is easy for multiple people to use it.

Cons: Limited functionality, mostly due to the fact that the interface is oversimplified. Limited reporting, and there are often "work arounds" for tasks that usually would be very simple.

Pros: The flexibility and ease for customers who are making reservations. Also very easy for reservations and bookings on the back end.

Cons: When customers are making reservations it takes them to the next available booking date without much notice. We have had customers get confused with this.

Pros: This is my first time using software like Xola, it is easy to use, I can get questions answered quickly from friendly support staff. I love that it sends out automatic emails to my guests, that it folllows up with people who don't book! I can' tell you how many hours a week it saves me!

Cons: There are a few things that are unique to my business that I'm not able to do with Xola but they are minor compared to what it has done for us!

Pros: I love the private room option! It has without a doubt increased our sales. It is presented in a way that many people take advantage of that option!

Cons: The reports section needs to match up better with my needs, but I am not the only one with this issue and it is one their list to integrate with Quickbooks.

There is also an issue with my adding reservation fee does not get included in the taxable amount. I am sure that they will come up with a solution for that one too!

Pros: Live customer support available by chat. This is amazing when you have a problem during a game and need an answer now. It has already been an extremely valuable feature. (Zen desk?)

Cons: some functionality is limited without paying for a more expensive package. For example, there is no way to provide a printed receipt to a customer without upgrading to an enterprise account.

Overall: This software offers a clean front end and back end booking system with many features not easily available in competitor's products. Customer support is excellent and I have had assistance every step of the way.

Pros: I like the on-boarding team that set things up for us and customer support. I also like how review of the time customers choose and payment info is on the same screen. I like the look of the software that customers see.

Cons: I cannot comment on value for money at the moment because we are part of a match-price deal. I don't like that how a customer paid is not listed on the dashboard. It only says "paid" or "collect balance". I would prefer to see if a Groupon code was used on the dashboard screen so I could redeem the code straight from there.

Pros: I love Xola for so many reasons;
The mobile view from the customer pov is so clean compared to other options i looked at, this is important for conversions.
Cart abandonment emails, have a crazy high response rate, and we knock down so many deals.
Reservationsist can tag bookings, so we can pay them commission
Past customer data is all saved to expedite repeat bookings
Really easy to charge balance day off tour.
Software is flexible to change an customize specific day schedule.
Add ons can be hidden from customer view so we can
Most of all the Xola staff (particularly Delamon and Kelsey) is so cool, responsive, and they really get tour businesses, they are open to new features

Cons: I wish it had two way sync with google cal intergration, we use this for driver view of schedule plus a few other things

Overall: it makes running our tour business so much easier

Pros: I like that the customer service is always one click, call, or email away. They work to costumize our specific platform exactly how we need it when we need it. Our contact, Alice, does everything she can to assist and that gives us the security to focus on our business and continue to grow.

Cons: It is not set up as a dual platform for retail so it has to be completely customized for physical items but I'd trade that anytime for how effective it is as a booking platform for various items.

Pros: I like how easy the whole booking process is. I also like how easy it is to process payment, especially with credit cards.

Cons: There really isn't anything I don't like about it. I would say the only thing I've had any difficulty in is handling payments where the customer wants to pay a portion on the card, and a portion in cash.

Overall: It has made my job booking Skywild reservations very simple.

Pros: Simple to use, update and looks great. Tech Support is always quick to respond and gets any issues resolved quickly.

Cons: There is a little bit of a learning curve, but overall nothing to complain about. There can be a little bit of confusion when creating and adding completely new listings but we've learned the required steps for everything to run smoothly. We would like to see more data fields that we could manage to follow up with customers with special promotions (like for their birthday, anniversary, etc.) and to link reservations within different family members/parents.

Overall: Streamline booking process for internal staff and customers. It's so easy for someone to make a reservation 24/7 online. Less time on the phone and in class collecting payments.

Pros: The online booking option it takes a lot of stress off our office staff. I also like the fact at it links the customers to our TripAdvisor page.

Cons: The calendar and times. It makes it very hard to look at the calendar when there are more than one of the trips listed all the times should not have to be listed for each day, if the tour is not leaving the dock at all times listed.

Pros: I have had a great experience with customer care at XOLA. They really take their time to walk you through the steps and are always available for questions. It takes me less than 3 minutes to book a group, have it printed, and submit to departments, which saves me a lot of time, as Fort Ticonderoga books hundreds of groups May-July. It is also helpful that I'm able to adjust guests. I think my favorite feature about this software is the "edit listing" option. A lot of our groups have specific accommodations/pricing.

Cons: I don't like how I'm the only one with access to the software. It would be helpful for other departments to be able to logon and see the groups we have booked--however, I believe this can be changed if we decide to upgrade to the next level in the software.

Overall: Keeping track of groups, adjusting specifications per group, viewing the calendar and the list of groups for each given day of the year.

Pros: I love the fact that reports are a click away and it is easy to change bookings and access customer information. Adding and or changing listings and items is easy and only takes a few minutes. Customer service is amazing and any question or concern I have had has been addressed immediately. My customers love the ease of use and it makes my job easier when I do not have to walk customers through bookings. I have tried other booking systems in the past and Xola is by far the best.

Cons: I would like to see more detailed reports but I hear they are working on that. Otherwise I would not change a thing.

Pros: The ease of use. The user interface is fast, efficient and easy to understand. It's easy for customers booking and it's simple for us in the office. However, I must add that I appreciate the people just as much. Our rep, from the Xola team, was truly helpful in giving us good advice as we started our escape room. We read the marketing guide from Xola which was very helpful in getting us started with the basics. We have now moved beyond the basics and the team is still helping us with questions and suggestions. We greatly appreciate the 24 hour support and the willingness to help us work out any technical problems we run into integrating our systems.

Cons: We have difficulty adding a person to a game if someone shows up that puts the group over the stated limit per room.

Pros: Their customer service is prompt and our rep is really helpful when I have questions about how to set up the system to meet my needs. Before Xola I used a different booking software and experienced a lot of abandoned bookings because the user interface was so clicky. Now with Xola I experience increased sales and the abandoned booking's feature is well worth it. I highly encourage anyone opening an escape room to use this platform!

Cons: The sales don't tie back to the correct sales person if an order comes in via the front end and it is confirmed through the back end of the software.

Pros: The front end of Xola has a very clean, user friendly design. This lets my customers navigate it with ease and without confusion. The back end is very easy to use as well. Pros: The platform can adapt to and optimize any sales generated business. I noticed the platform on a similar tour based website and it had everything I wanted. Then I seen the back end program and I was blown away. It captures all the info I need plus some. The abandoned booking feature saves the day when a customer walks away from a booking or decides the price isn't right for them. The Customer support is amazing, from the Sales team, to the Setup team, and then general support team that follows you while you operate in business just in case you have question. I haven't had to wait for an answer more than a few business hours while I was setting up. Just operating a few days I realized I needed to make a big change in by booking strategy and a new option was created in a just a day to capture the sales I was losing.

Cons: great value for most large volume customers but when you just begin it can be pricey. I wish there was an option based on sales numbers. I have a seasonal tour company and I'm also billed in the off season, that could be come costly for a small operator.

Overall: Increased Sales, Secure Information Storing, Organized Information, Easy Staff assignment of Tours, It has it all.

Pros: Straight forward, easy to use. LOVE the chat customer service option! It's not often that I get the time in my day to drop everything and make a phone call. Chat allows me to multi-task while receiving assistance.

Cons: There are a few things that don't offer the control I'd like. For instance, you can't edit a reservation in the past and keep it in the past. If I want to issue a refund to a client and adjust the cost, Xola rebooks the customer for the current (or future) date. The commission section has the same issue. Once I reconcile the commission cost, and I can't go back in to the memo and add the check number or more notes.

Cons: Every tour program is unique and requires a unique system. At times the system has not been able to do what I need it to do, however I always make sure that the people at Xola knows this and they tend to try to develop new ways for Xola to operate based upon my feedback.

Overall: Within the first year of integrating Xola into our tours program, we managed to increase the number of visitors by 20%. The ease of booking for our fans and the confidence in knowing that their spot on a tour is guaranteed contributes to a seamless visit. Pros: Everything. Mostly the ease of use for booking, trip rosters, and being able to assign guides. Smooth.

Overall: After trying two other booking software platforms, we've finally found a solution that works for our small guide / outfitter business. Xola has been an amazing company to work with. From answering questions quickly, to solving complicated website problems, they've really impressed us with their customer service, quality work and attention to detail.

Streamlined check-out process, the ability to follow up with automated emails, gift certificate sales, re-targeting and the clarity of the sales reports really set XOLA apart from every other solution we've tried.

All the features that are available really help us manage our busy workflow, our guides and our inventory. Additionally, the integration of our booking platform with the local hotels, as well as larger distributors (Viator, etc.) has really increased our customer base.

We're so happy to be working with a company that puts the needs of tour operators / outfitters first!

Overall: The entire team at XOLA were professional, kind and understanding! None of my questions were trivial to them. They allowed us to take our time in implementing the system and were there for us EVERY step of the way! I cannot imagine using any other system! We looked around and are convinced that we chose the exact system WE needed. It is so simple and clear to use, unlike many we researched. Comments: I have used numerous online event registration software platforms and XOLA is by far the best. It is easy to set up and adapt to the multiple kinds of events we offer. Its streamlined registration process makes it easy for customers to choose an event, register and pay. There is also an abandoned cart feature. Both you and your customers are notified via an email when a registration is not complete. I was amazed at the lost sales captured using this feature.
The Smart Waiver integration allows us to see who has completed their form on the event roster. Check in is a snap on a Smart Phone or tablet.
The workflow is automated with reminder, follow-up and survey emails.
There is also Facebook Integration. Most of our customers now register form our Facebook page!
I cant imagine stepping back to other platforms. You wont be disappointed if you choose XOLA!

Overall: If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Customer service is amazing and has always been very attentive to any issues that arise. As we've learned with our experiences with multiple reservation systems, none of them have absolutely 100% of what you need, but the willingness to listen to your wants/needs and implement them is beyond a doubt one of our favorite things about Xola. Xola's pricing system also allows us to make more money! Let me explain. With Xola, you are charged a flat rate per month. That's it. You are given a low credit card processing rate, lower than we could negotiate with a processor. With other booking systems, you are charged a LOW monthly fee, but they charge each of your customers a percentage of the sale. That money goes directly to them. With Xola, we are able to charge a small ticket fee that pays for the service and most months we make more than the monthly fee! And as a bonus, our customers are paying less for our tours.
Our customers are showing up to our tours on-time and in the right place which is our number 1 goal with having any reservation system. They send automatic emails to our customers, allowing us to spend more time on program development. Pros: Customer Service, Mobil App, Data Tracking, Easy to learn and navigate

Cons: can only send confirmation emails to one email address within your company.

Overall: We have been using XOLA for a tour business for 3+ years. XOLA provides both the Customer and Business an easy to use platform that makes managing bookings as easy as possible. The technology in their "Automated Remarketing" feature delivers business for us even when we're not actively emailing, calling potential customers. XOLA's customer support is also always friendly, timely, and overall very helpful.

Comments: We've been with Xola for a couple of years now. We used to use other software and another company I partially own still uses that software which we are getting rid of. Xola is the best for a couple of reasons. First, they respond very quickly when we need them to. Seriously, their customer service can't be beat. Our previous software only responded by email only--and at their leisure. A third software system we used couldn't have cared less whether they were responsive to us, their customers, and their system was clunky. Second, we don't have the extra hassle of having to tie in another credit card processing company. Xola does it all in one. Not everything is perfect with Xola (nothing ever is) but it is damn close.

Comments: Used Xola for 2 different companies and we switched to a competitor that offered more functionality and expansion. Their training over the phone (first company I was with that used them) was a joke - the 2 trainers got into an argument about how to do something while my staff sat listening to them for 10 minutes. We still gave them a try and were sorry that we did. The next company I took over was using Xola and I switched systems. The account rep called me and actually started yelling at me about what a mistake we were making for switching companies,, how no one ever leaves Xola, how much our business was going to suffer, as well as calling me a fool to switch (that was when I hung up on her.) I would not recommend them.

Comments: Xola has provided us a valuable asset with their booking system. They immediately notify us and upon a booking. the captains once assigned a tour are notified of the tour time and type of tour.The customer is sent a receipt along with directions and faq's. We are also sent an alert hours ahead of the day the tours are scheduled. We find that the support team extremely accommodating and quick to reply. The funds are transferred into our bank account on a daily biases.
There could be some improvements in the software system. It does not automatically update changes. We find find some things somewhat confusing to make changes. However, support always comes through to help us. Most likely my problems with the system is because I am not a millennium baby and not the greatest with software.

Pros: User Interface is simple but robust. There is no sacrificing ability for the sake of navigation.

Cons: Refunds have to come out of your xola account, there is a balance that stays in your account and gets sent to your account according to your desired time frame. If the account is empty and you need to refund a customer you have to load money to your account. This is supposed to change as we discussed it with our rep and they were already working on a solution.

Overall: Xola was our first choice software for our new business and we are glad we went with them. Starting a new business is always tough but working with Xola gave us a quick launch with great insight and tips from their staff.

Xola is constantly improving, offering education and studies on the tourism industry and is a quick phone call away. We are always looking for the most efficient way of doing business and clearly Xola is as well. Our calls are on time and our questions are answered.

The UI is straightforward and robust. Something we were unable to find in other software. The costs are clear and easy to manage.

Our contact at Xola regularly checks in with us and we have created a relationship that ensures our needs are met. We are looking forward to growing our business with Xola.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take it for a test spin. It may seem like a lot if you have never used a booking software before but once you use it on the regular you will be happy about a number of the features.

Pros: Always improving! I like the automation and ease of use. The layout is beautiful and seamless.

Cons: Because it caters to a range of different types of businesses, it's hard to get some more specific functions that are specific to my needs. I'd like to see more functions dedicated to easy reviews in follow up emails and more sophisticated controls for my needs. The OTA functions are good but it would be nice if they actually functioned seamlessly with the Xola software.

Overall: Xola software takes the job of an administrator and booking agent and allows me the time and energy to focusing on growing the business. It's real automation for my business and makes me more hands off. They are always improving and are always at the click of a button to answer my queries.

Overall: We started using Xola on our tour's website in 2014 and have been very pleased with it. Unlike other booking software we tried and have seen, Xola is easy to understand and has clean design that makes it easy to use and look good on your website. On the backend it is simple to setup, make changes and manage bookings. Another huge selling point is the customer support. They have chat support available 24/7, and are available by phone or email during business hours, and are quick to respond and solve any issues. I would highly recommend using Xola's booking software for tour companies.

Pros: The training and support staff have been extremely helpful and extremely patient with me! In fact, everyone with whom I¿ve worked at XOLA has been the same ¿ incredible! Everyone seems to really care about making sure the program works just as it should. And they all seem to care whether it¿s helping to make my business run smoother. This means a lot!

Brennan got me started. Then I had my first on-line- training session with the very attentive woman whose name I don¿t remember. And now I have my own personal techie assistant ¿ Chris! He may not know he has this title but I¿m pretty sure there are many XOLA users who would enthusiastically give him this title. This personal service is so important, both functionally and psychologically.

Cons: I always have problems learning something new but this is definitely not the software's fault! It's user error!

Overall: I love the XOLA package. I actually understand it and am beginning to find my way around it. This is amazing! I mean, it¿s truly amazing! And as I become more and more familiar with it, I¿m discovering all sorts of useful things it can do. I especially like the feature that allows me to assign a guide to a walk and then send the walk roster to that guide. This has saved us from miscommunication on a number of occasions!! Love this feature!

I also love to see the XOLA emails announcing that I have another booking!! I don¿t think I¿ll ever tire of these!

I¿m still exploring all that XOLA can do. I intend to master it all. I¿ve found that taking and re-taking the on-line, live trainings sessions has been invaluable. I understand the program more each session and get more assertive as I go along.

Comments: My company has been using Xola since December of 2015 and a lot has been added since then! What I like about Xola is its realism. My time with them has not been perfect, however, I stay with them because whatever glitch or trouble that may come up is fixed and as soon as it can be. That matters to me. The fact is, no system is perfect, but with Xola, there is always someone handy for me to chat with and I know exactly who is handling my problem and at the speed it's being processed. I've been with other companies where one may cite an issue that is never really fixed, rather, a bandage covers it for later. That has not been my experience with Xola. The team working with me is constant and resourceful. Sometimes you can never pay enough for good customer service. From the customer side of things, I have no major qualms. What they see is a simple and clean booking feature that is unique and friendly. I have used ticketing platforms in the past that required an explanation on how to use them. It is not like that with Xola, no where close. I really look forward to seeing where Xola goes next and what developments are on the way. In my eyes, the price is well worth the features, quality customer service, and ease of booking for my guests.

Comments: There are some improvements that can be made. Namely, a copy function would be helpful so as to not have to re-do every new tour item. In addition, being able to apply Questionnaire information across all tours would also be helpful. I would also tweak the dashboard so that all "Reservations" pop up in a list, and not just by date. A master list of reservations would be useful.
The back end and functionality of the software is incredible. Xola will make it much easier to run my business. In addition, the chat and phone customer support I have received is like no other I have seen. Incredible response time and patience for those of us that are not as tech savvy as we would like to think. As Xola grows, I hope that the standard of customer service remains as it is a major differentiator, as is the platform. I couldn't be happier with the product and look forward to recommending it to anyone who needs a scheduling software. I also look forward to additional add-on components and know they will be fantastic.

There is always someone available for you if you need help with anything, which often is not the case with other companies I've found, and best of all for myself, it's a very intuitive system to use. Also, you get paid right away, there is no holding your money for a length of time. I would recommend this system.

Comments: I operate an escape room that requires very flexible and unique booking abilities, what with the huge variety of booking requests we can have (special corporate events, regularly scheduled events, joint birthday parties, off-site team building events, festivals, etc.). Xola was not the first booking software we used, but it did end up being the last. We were approached by several companies that offered "below industry standard credit card processing fees" that would knock off maybe .3% from each transaction, but then they would charge the customer between 6% and 10% that they would take directly in their pocket without you being able to customize it. If you're comfortable with charging your customers 6%-10% in service charges, why wouldn't you take that money for yourself?

Basic math aside, Xola's customer service and suite of application tools have been able to help overcome and accommodate any obstacle we've encountered and have left us more time to focus on what's important: running our business. I highly recommend this platform over any other currently on the market.

Comments: loved how the Xola team helped me understand what using the system would look like in real life before I had signed up. Every step of the way I have been supported to the max. I was assigned a direct support contact who coached me through any questions I had in getting myself set up. More often than not Mary asked for the info I was trying to integrate into the system and implemented the changes for me so that I lost no time in making Xola work for me at full speed. This included workarounds and business suggestions.
The ongoing 24Hour help desk via zen desk has also been essential. Our needs have changed as the business has evolved and I have to say Xola has worked hand in hand with us to make it do what I want it to.
The only down side is not being able to do too much on a mobile.....yet! The beta version for mobiles is on its way and I am honestly holding my breathe for its development and release. It will be the icing on the cake!

Comments: We are a brand new business and spent a lot of time researching to find the reservation system that we thought would work best for our Zipline business. After a few weeks of looking into different programs and comparing them, it was clear to us that Xola was the cleanest, simplest system out there.

It is incredibly easy to use for both the customers and staff and cuts our work load in half by sending out reminders and thank yous to all of our customers.

Any issues that we have found were quickly resolved by the friendly and knowledgeable Xola team. They are also more than willing to walk you through any questions that you may have!

I would happily recommend this product to anyone on the hunt for a great reservation system! We are excited to see what else they produce in the next year (pos system?!).

Comments: The software makes doing most everything simple. Just a click or two....change guest count, switch trips, add fee's, refund all (or partial) ticket prices....etc etc...
Every product has it's bumps in the road but there is always someone ready to answer my questions and/or fix my mistakes....via chat, text or email...there is ALWAYS someone there!
I, along with my concierges, crew, and employees, can view, edit, add bookings on ANY smart phone. Very important. I also find the bookkeeping simple with this system. Tracking commissions, payment types, refunds, payments, customers...all with the click of my mouse.
I have spoken with other companies (and drilled them on their programs!) and decided on Xola for ease of use, customer support and all around value....I will not switch. Thank you Xola!

Comments: These guys are great. They saved us money, increased bookings and ease of use, and they have great service. The booking system also looks great, makes our website feel modern and easy to book trips.
