Comments: We had highly knowledgeable implementation team that was extremely responsive and easily accessible. They were able to handle about 98% of our support needs/questions. In the instances they were not they were able to work with the support and production teams to get all answers.

Pros: Easy to use, visually it looks great. I love that you don't have to save every change.

Overall: We switched to Sentric from a very large platform that was overkill for our size company. With our last payroll system, it was not intuitive, it was not easy to navigate nor was it user friendly in any way. It was also outdated visually. Switching to Sentric has been a breath of fresh air. It is so easy to use, I completely got how to use it with minimal training (my choice) and I love the look of it. I have demoed a ton of payroll companies and I have worked with several different ones throughout the years and hands down, Sentric is my go to choice. Kudos, Sentric on everything from the sales process, to the implementation to the follow through on the customer service side. Thank you!

Pros: Ease of use

Overall: SentricWorkforce was easy to use and was very functional payroll wise, no payroll software is without issues, but Sentric's customer service was excellent. I really miss them and was sorry we had to change providers, not a decision made by the payroll department here.

Pros: Awesome customer service.

Cons: Phone app doesn't have the ability for those who have to manually add hours to time card - to add them. i.e - 8 hrs per day rather than in and out - we do not punch.

Overall: We have been utilizing SentricWorkforce for over a year now. We were recently moved over to version 2. Customer Support is awesome.

Pros: User-friendly

Cons: Unable to do certain functions; creating reports is hard to understand. Needs a user guide and how to guides

Overall: Learned certain aspect of Sentric in a very short period of time; User-friendly, but had lots of questions on what Sentric can do and not do. Hidden icons are a little hard to find and know what they do. Overall experience good. Great tech support when available.

Pros: The PTO forecasting and directory

Cons: Not able to integrate with other HR Software, No Onboarding and no areas to confidentially store personnel file information.

Overall: Everyone at Sentric is very helpful. The system itself needs some work. Since we have moved, we have had to take some steps backward. We have lost onboarding capabilities and are not able to integrate with our other HR Software which creates extra steps for us. In addition, I believe they need to create a best practice for storing personal files on their system so that HR Departments can become paperless. I believe these are the 3 areas of focus for Sentric. The employees continue to love the time off forecasting and the directory.

Pros: Easy to use once you figure out the layout of the Sentric software.

Cons: Ability to make certain changes in Sentric instead of having to contact service reps. Sentric seems to control certain aspects of the software.

Overall: I enjoy using Sentric except when I need to delete/remove an employee record due to a duplicate or other reason. When this occurs, I have to notify our service rep to remove the employee record. Not sure why certain issues are controlled by Sentric instead of our HR team.

Comments: Sentric has been the easiest software launch I have ever been apart of. The staff is responsive and helpful. We love having all of our HR information consolidated in one place. We don't have full-time HR so being able to have needed information that supervisors can get to themselves has been a great time saver.

Pros: Time off forecasting

Cons: No Onboarding. You can't see the holidays in Workforce or on the attendance worksheet in time and attendance. You can only see it in the totals. This causes employees to enter 8 hours in that spot which could potentially cause us to pay 16 hours for one day.

Overall: Everyone has been extremely helpful in getting our system up and running. We do desperately need an onboarding section. When you have that as part of your software, we will be in good shape. We love the PTO forecasting.

Comments: This software has made my job so much easier when it comes to payroll and tracking different things for employees. It was easy to use and operate and the customer service rep I have is amazing. She has always answered any questions I have in a timely manner and has been very helpful.

Overall: We made the change to Sentric mid-year. They made it seamless and my employees only received 1 W-2. Some of the firms we looked at would only pick up their info so the employees would get 2 and I would have had to pay for 2 sets. They have the ACA figured out and the program seems to be working well. They have saved me time and money.

We have a very short turnaround time between the end of a pay period and payday. The payroll information is emailed to me shortly after we input. We are able to complete all of our in-house accounting quickly and with time to spare. I receive an email when the checks are shipped and when they have been delivered. That is peace of mind.

Overall: Sentric Workforce is very user-friendly and definitely the best payroll system that I have ever used. The employees at my company find it easy to work with and can make their own updates. Processing payroll is a breeze and if there is anything that I need help with, assistance is only a call away. Top notch company with top notch support!

Comments: I've used the SentricWorkforce product for three years. From our implementation to everyday interactions with the company, I've found their level of service to be outstanding. There is no perfect product and things can go wrong. Having a dedicated point of contact is everything - whether it is addressing a question on functionality, a user error, or day to day issues that come up, I've always felt my representative was prompt at addressing my needs. The product has a lot of functionality for the price and they continue to enhance it. I wish the report writing tool was more robust but all in all, we are very happy with the product. It has helped us streamline processes, saving us time, money, and confusion. I'd especially recommend small to mid-sized companies consider this product.

Cons: Nothing. After the last update/upgrade, Sentric fixed all my little issues

Overall: I would recommend Sentric to anyone struggling with changing laws and regulations, even smaller businesses. Customer support is always there to help quickly.

Cons: I wish it posted how many vacation days you had left.

Overall: I have come to really like your product. When I first started using it I was unsure if it was for our company or not. Now with all of the new updates, it is very easy to use and works well for us.

Joe, if you haven't checked out absences on the mobile ESS app yet, it gets you a more visual forecast of PTO / vacations (depending on how you have your plans set up). You can easily slide your accruals through the year and it will automatically populate your forecast / time left.

Pros: User-friendly. Screens are easy to read and logical

Cons: Wish it was easier to write ad hoc (custom) reports

Overall: I've worked with most major payroll software programs, including some that are specific to the industry they're used in. (ADP, Kronos, Meridian, Ceridian, Oracle). Nothing else has ever been this user-friendly.

The only downgrade is for minor trouble with ad hoc reports, but everything else is wonderful.

Pros: Ease of the software

Cons: Not being able to transfer from one company to another. The system does not keep track of terminated employees and the day they are terminated. That is done by us and not the system which it should be

Overall: The ease of the software is really great. There are a few things that need to be tweaked. Transferring from one company to another should be much easier than it is but that is my only real complaint. Our account representative is OUTSTANDING! I do not know what I would do without her. She is so knowledgeable and patient. She is a great teacher and always thinks ahead. I am so thankful to have her.

Pros: Easy for me to use as an administrator, and they just added a mobile app, which is awesome!!

Cons: Some of the self-service functions should be more user-friendly.

Overall: Awesome implementation from start to finish, although the implementation team should probably learn more about the backend of the system, as we ended up creating more PTO policies than we needed (there's an override function I wasn't aware of).

Recommendations to other buyers: When adding a direct deposit, it's not intuitive for employees to have to rearrange them in order and/or delete them if they need to replace it. There should be an option screen to replace current or add another account to the current list and what order you'd like them to be in, then auto arrange based off of their answers.

Comments: When we decided to go with Sentric, I was not sure on what to expect. We currently have been with Sentric since January of this year and Sentric has exceeded all of my expectations. The customer service has been great, thank you Missy and Bridgette. They have been very supportive and have responded quickly to any questions. If a problem arises, they are quick to find a solution. In regards to the payroll system, the payroll processing is very simple and efficient even with the addition of a custom tool that was designed by Sentric for my company's needs.

The majority of the standard reports that Sentric provides contains the essential information that is needed. Sometimes though, you need specific information related to your company. The only way to access this information is by requesting a custom report or using the Ad Hoc reporting function which I find not very user friendly.

Overall my experiences with Sentric have been positive. This is a good beginning and as we continue to grow as a company, I believe that Sentric will have the capability to handle this growth.

Comments: After an extensive search for a new payroll/HR system, we decided SentricWorkForce was head and shoulders above the competition, and seemed to fit every one of our needs. The implementation process went smoothly thanks to the hard work and dedication of their excellent project manager Rob. We are taking a controlled rollout approach to implementing the various modules of the system, but so far we have been pleasantly surprised to find the system and support even better than we expected. Our staff have taken to the new system quickly. The Employee Self Service module is invaluable, and extremely easy to understand and use. The absence functionality is very flexible, which was one of our key criteria in selecting a new system, and easily handles our various robust, multiple tier absence plans, which has saved us a lot of time and money. The only difficulty we've experienced with the system is in managing internal employee promotions between entities (i.e. if a person switches positions from one organization to another). However, it is still easier managed in this system than in our previous systems. Overall we are thrilled with the system, and look forward to rolling out more of it in the coming months.

Comments: Throughout our years using Sentric, we have needed to utilize all aspects of the system including payroll processing, tracking leaves of absences, hiring/terminating employees, time management, customized reporting and more. The system is very user friendly, and whenever we get stuck on something, our representative is just a phone call away. Although we have had some minor issues with Workforce and TLM along the way, the representatives were able to work around the problem, come up with an agreed upon solution and correct matters for our future use.

The newest addition to our repertoire of Sentric items is the Employee Self Service portion. We have been able to make tremendous progress with tracking changes to employee information, capturing electronic signatures for required documents, routing time off approvals, and so much more.

Our overall satisfaction with Sentric, both their products as well as their customer service, is extremely high. Upon hiring a new HR Administrator, they even sent reps out to our facility to do an entire day training on the functionality of the systems. They have continually gone above and beyond with their level of support, and we would recommend them highly.
