Pros: The user interface is great which makes our team actually use the CRM in the first place. Moreover, we are able to define different pipelines tailored to each market/segment. Finally, all the information and statistics are there.

Easy-to-use yet capable of covering all of our needs. This is the fourth CRM software that we are trying and we are sold. Pipedrive is the best.

Cons: The only thing that could potentially be improved would be adding social media integrations. In particular, one of the coolest features of Nimble (the last CRM we were using) is that whenever we added a contact, all of their social media profiles were readily available. This helped us personalize our approach.

I've enjoyed using the software because it is simple to use.

Pros: It is a great reminder tool. I'm pretty useless at follow up. The reminders I get on my Pipedrive app have helped me close deals I wouldn't ordinarily have. So, the software has more than paid for itself over the time I've used it. I like that I can upload my proposals so that they are all in a 'client' file. Also, a great feature is the BCC, so I can always keep track of what emails I sent to what clients.

Cons: I think the task reminder ... I only get one reminder via email a day. Perhaps if it could remind me more than once. But this is such a small thing ...

Overall: Helped me close more deals more consistently.

I used Pipedrive to manage 40 different accounts through a complex sales cycle.

Pros: The software allows for contact storage and malleable transfer of contact information across accounts. Some of the accounts we managed had multiple contact points that overlapped across different accounts, so it was helpful to have this functionality.

Cons: The price per user is too high. In the interest of being frugal, we just shared accounts across multiple team members to bypass this, but this caused confusion and lacked efficient processes.

Pros: Pipedrive is very easy to use it's very intuitive but on other hand it could be more aggregate in terms of search

Cons: The search option does not include phrases or parts of words that contain business names, and you type the full name to get results.

This product works well for me.

Pros: It was nice to find a piece of software with all the features I needed that was not too robust and expensive for my needs. Onboarding was easy. I loved being able to schedule a call with support during this process so that I could understand the use the program to its fullest capability.

Cons: I have not run into any cons at this time. I'm only writing in this section to fill my 100 character requirement.

Pros: The flexibility of Pipedrive is outstanding! Being about to create our own workflows, rearrange them by simple drag-and-drop, naming them however we want...just priceless. We also love how Pipedrive prompts you to add future actions as you mark completed tasks as finished. This pushes us to always add that next action to the deal. User administration is a piece of cake. Having the running totals for what's in the pipelines gives visibility to us for what's coming in that we simply never had before.

On top of all of these amazing features, the flexibility we have in setting up products is outstanding as well. My whole team loves Pipedrive.

Cons: It doesn't always convince your prospects to buy your services. ;)

The only con I can think of is that you can't "@" (mention) your other users. Add that feature, and this box would be empty.

Overall: Organization of our pipelines. Accountability. Flexibility. Pure awesomeness.

Pros: Customization for what I need makes it a very good choice- quick learning curve- great online support- great reporting functions

Cons: Email integration is TOTAL, or you move over what is important. Unfortunately, you cannot eliminate unnecessary sections of an email thread- it's all or nothing

Pros: I see all my deals and everyone else so I get an overview of where we are at. Unfortunately my team members seem to think it takes too much time to add information, so I will be seeking ways to make it quick and easy...using text expander App is an idea I'm working on...perhaps the ability to have templates set up would be something to consider so it is easy to quickly fill out?

Cons: Unable to print any appointment, task, notes etc.
Am forced to do screen shots, which is really no good, especially if you cannot fit everything in the screen. Printing either as a pdf or straight to my printer is basic?

Overall: Better productivity, and helps me see where all my team are with their deals.

It's OK, but seriously flawed because it does not integrate with Outlook Calendar

Pros: It is intuitive and easy to configure and use, it helps my team and me but it is seriously flawed because we (people in my industry) live in Outlook Calendar but Pipedrive does not integrate with Outlook Calendar. The seriousness of this disconnect by Pipedrive is growing by the day.

Cons: The system does not integrate with Outlook Calendar, the more we use Pipedrive, the more clear and serious this weakness becomes to us. I can not and will not recommend that other Property & Casualty Insurance Brokerage operations make the investment in this software until Pipedrive provides this most basic integration. This weakness in the Pipedrive system is such a huge disconnect for Pipedrive. Pipedrive's customer support acts as though they could care less, and as though we are the only people in the world that need this function. I can only assume that others before me did a better job of discovering this weakness (before making the purchase), and for that reason they elected not to make the purchase the software. Everyone in my industry LIVES in their Outlook calendar - I strongly encourage Pipedrive to figure this out.

Overall: Do not purchase this software if you need Calendar integration with Outlook.

Horrible. I've asked you to stop billing me but you are continuing to do so. Will contact the bank

Cons: Not good for a small staff who are just starting out. Pipedive doesn't respond to questions or how to get out of paying for the subscription even though I have asked twice in an email to unsubscribe me. Just got another recurring bill for July!

Pros: I love simplicity of the deals board. The layout is so simple and easy to use, that once I have set it up, the team get it quite quickly. They prefer it over Sales Force, as PipeDrive only focuses on the aspects that my team required.

Cons: The setup was simple if the company is simple. I found the tutorial too hard to follow to setup simply. There could be more work on forecasting as well.

Pros: I customised it within one week for a team of 8 so that we could fully functions as a sales team.
Quick views giving good insights on what is in te pipeline
Sales projections and progress of the deals are easily seen

Cons: Reporting is not so good for holding sales meeting.

But the hardest part is to have the sales persons getting used to it. Especially older ones. They have to see the benefit for them and not only their boss. Ofcpirse this could be said of any CRM.

I have experienced they I knew more about the system than the support.

Batch editing requires sometime and export into xls and import it again .

Probability per deal is not possible only per stage.

Bring in an agent to have their own pipeline is not so easy to do. You need to ensure the 3rd party cannot see your own deals.

Overall: I can contact my client when it is required even when I have hundreds of leads

Pros: I like the platform and how I can menu-var the clients from first point of contact to disposition in the remainder fields until the deal is won.

Cons: I would like if the date notifications can be on the sales leads name from point view instead of having to click into the field. I somewhat forget when a due date is set and therefor I have to continuously open a field to check.

Overall: My firm can now easily track the sales leads. The best feeling is when I can see the sales lead move across the board until the deal is won.

Pros: Ease of use and simplicity is what I like most. It can do a lot but it is not overburdened with features that I would not use.

Cons: That I cannot schedule an activity across all contacts in a particular group. I do some follow ups in bulk mail and I cannot annotate that in my records easily.

Overall: Close more deals, create more cash flow from existing customers. Simplify follow up process.

Pros: Very convenient to do follow up. Red / green alerts, load email, files..Etc.. When you have more than 10 opportunities to follow, you need this kind of tools.

Cons: This software is so good that we would like to us for project (without money) : for example Key account management. You can save all you conversations, but it is not perfect to follow stages (even if you can built whatever you want). So is it due to the software or just because I did not find the best way to do it..

Pros: It's easy to understand and use, specially if you're used to services like Trello or other project managers. I also enjoyed the pipeline school when I had subscribed to the service.

Cons: About performance, it's slow sometimes. About pricing, price is too high for Brazilian users because dollar is too expensive now. I'd suggest a better pricing to retain more customers.

Pros: I'm busy so this was easy to learn, so easy to use. I was able to customize to fit my commercial real estate practice needs. I don't like having to put a lot of words in a feedback section, this is a waste of my time, but I wanted to go on the record and express appreciation for a product that I'm actually using. Several members of my Vistage group recommended it. In fact, one member graciously came over and showed me how simple it was to set up; import contacts and get started.

Cons: I don't always want to get "help" in a text box talk back and forth; I'd rather talk to someone on the phone.

Pros: Ease of use, reminds me to schedule followup automatically, good customization to my sales industry.

Cons: Wish it had just a little more customization, such as automatic time stamping and would show the persons name in the organization list view.

Overall: Have closed 33 accounts in 3 months by using the Pipedrive pipeline, which means more commission money in my pocket! Thanks Pipedrive!!!

Pros: The ease of use! I had another CRM that we were using that took me 3 months to get properly set up and then it was full of glitches. This took me about 2 hours to be nearly completely up and running.

Overall: It's keeps me organized and more productive. I know that's the goal of all CRMs, but our previous CRM was a disaster...hard to set up, time waster entering info, it didn't auto ask you to enter follow-ups. So far, I can't say enough good things about Pipedrive!

Pros: Easy to use - our sales people hated our previous CRM and didn't use it; however they have completely embraced Pipedrive within days of it being introduced, and its starting to make a real difference in terms of deal visibility, increasing sales activities, and making more sales. Highly recommend it.

Cons: Not much. There are a few small features that could speed up configuration - for example copying pipeline setups, grouping pipelines into groups. But these are minor suggestions...On the whole, the system does what its meant to do in a simple and efficient way.

Overall: Visibility on sales, sales pipeline, sales team member performance and non-performance, increased sales...

Lovely experience. We are much more organized now. I love live support. Always helpful, always fast.

Pros: Th fact that you can write, take notes, log calls, edit contact information, all on one page.. everything that you want to see about a deal, client, activity is easily accessible. I like that there are different views, (Deals - list view, and the other one, Activities) Helps us get through certain tasks faster. I love the early reminder emails sent to me about the day's activities that I set up for myself the day before.

Cons: Although I can log an activity eg. a Call and "Mark as done" I want to be able to record voice calls within PipeDrive (the actual call) ..both on the Android App on my phone and on the Desktop App. Also, I'm not able to bulk edit activities to change the assigned person within PipeDrive and set a time for those activities. I have to filter my contacts, export, edit in Excel and reimport, so I can set activities. I find the .csv / Excel editing a bit cumbersome and lengthy.
Please make this easier

Overall: Organization. It really keeps us on track towards our sales goals and any other things we want to accomplish. Distribution or offline advertising materials, relationships with our villa owners and managers, interviews. Its really helpful.

I've used Salesforce.com for 15 years. PipeDrive is faster, easier and better suited for my needs.

Pros: Uncomplicated to learn and use. It works intuitively. The import capability is THE best I've ever seen.

Cons: Reporting capability is more limited than I'm accustomed to. Enhancements here will be welcomed.
The filtering approach today is fine for screen views - but reports serve us better.

Pros: I like this software is easy to use, configure (for the most) and has the support you need, until you get to no support.

Cons: I purchased gold mebership for my client, who was really eager to start working with this system -as it fits real estate lead workflow really well- especially for the Two-way full email sync feature, a huge percentage of the decision to purchase this CRM, and potentially use it with multiple seats for the organization.
During the setup, I came through some problems with the supposedly flawless email sync with every email service in the market (as offered in every sales/setup video or page on the site) and customer support simply said I should go back to silver plan as this will not work with my email service.
The problem is a technical issue as the accounts on webfaction (my hosting provider) authenticate with mailbox name instead of email account. Sounds pretty simple if you have the right team, and I think it could bring in some revenue to pipedrive from silver-to-gold upgrades.
I a still looking for an alternate solution but I really wanted this to get to the right person.
Still hope you can help my client Ivo.

Overall: None yet. Some expenses to hook up with wordpress via gravity forms, and setup process if we yet dont know if we will use (without full email sync).

the software I've been waiting for; turbocharged my biz dev work.

Pros: The visuals of where deals are in the pipeline are awesome. I can visually see what deals haven't been contacted in a while, and where the sticking points are.

Cons: No general "add" button. To add a person, organization, deal, etc. - first I have to click into that tab of the software area, and only THEN can I add a record.

Overall: We use this software to manage incoming deals every day - adding tasks, contacts, organizations and potential projects. It's easy to visually see where deals are in the sales pipeline, and manage all of the related information.

Awesome lead management tool which becomes pretty indispensable after a few days.

Pros: Straight forward, nice to look at, easy to use, it's one of those tools that you don't think about, you just use it because you cannot think of doing it differently. This is some of the highest compliments I can give to a tool.

Cons: There are a couple of email sync and attribution issues that I have to work out with Support. It's complex to figure out, but I'm working on it. It might be a bug, it might be my mistake. I'd wish for an email opening tracking feature like cloze.io offers.

Since we have implemented Pipedrive tracking our leads and opportunities has become a lot easier

Pros: The automatic prompts to schedule follow up activities is a useful feature. This allows us to maintain good records of interactions with customers

Pros: We are medium sized business that are expanding, and needed an easy to use sales tracking tool, what we liked about this software was its ease of use, drag and drop style interface and how customisable it is!

Cons: We do not come across any cons, as in the pros, this software is fit for purpose, and easy to use...

Pros: Many functionalities and ease of use for administrators (team and system), set up (both quick and intuitive) and team.
Most functions that are missing can easily be replaced with easy to use Zapier integrated tools.

Cons: It definitely requires additional software like Zapier. (Zapier being the only costly one that's definitely required though)
Especially the missing email template feature is annoying because workarounds are never ideal in this case.
Some kind of button that instantly triggers integrations would be extreely helpful.

Having never used a CRM system before, I was dreading it, but Pipedrive is great. Easy, logical.

Pros: Notes, planned activities are easy and logical, helps with account planning and sales rep evaluations. Customer Service is outstanding!

Cons: No place to put our prospects website address and I'd like the ability to have reps see all other rep's deals but not have the ability to edit other rep's deals

Pros: Easy entry of information and attaching to deals. The ability to customize the headers is a plus, especially for companies that like to be a little creative. Mobile access is a plus.

Cons: 1. When you pull up a scheduled call, the phone number you are to call does not appear. This is annoying.
2. Items on the calendar do not tell you who or what deal is scheduled.
3. I would like to have a complete month view of the calendar
4. All data items for people and companies should be available in either for entry. In other words, I should be able to put in my contact information AND the company information without having to jump back in forth between "people" and "companies".

Overall: Good depository for contacts and lead information.

Pros: It's very easy to use and everything is intuitive. It's very action oriented and drives action in the pipeline. The integrations with Google Suite is great, and other integrations are easy as well. We use Pipedrive for managing our Sales pipeline, Funding pipeline and recruitment.

Cons: Booking meetings with more than you contact person are tricky. Then you need to go to your calendar program to invite. Furthermore, I would like email templates and better lead scoring processes.

Overall: More sales and more effective sales processes

Excellent for my requirements (small to medium-size entreprise)

Pros: Speed; updating on several platforms is almost immediate. Easy to understand how to operate. Activity options very well thought and pratical.

Cons: Not beeing able to send mail without incurring in extra costs (beyond what I am already paying!). Importing a database will create immediatly several deals (I just wanted to import prospects)

Cons: One simple but very important feature. I need to be able to export the 'Product' families and amounts into excel, which I was told by support I cannot at present (it's not an exportable field apparently. ) If I can enter the data I should be able to export the same data.

Simple enough to actually get sales employees to use it.

Pros: Simple, not cluttered. The pipeline to is an effective way to quickly track progress of deals. I recommend highly over cluttered systems like Salesforce.

Cons: Takes awhile to figure out setup. The setup is easy once you understand the flow of the system. Reports could be formatted better and the email link tool doesn't seem to add to activity stats. Would love more integrations.

Overall: A useable CRM that doesn't take more effort than it's worth.

Pros: Ease of use and the visual sales pipeline. Pipedrive is incredibly easy to use. It's great for seeing exactly where each prospect is in our sales process and helps us stay accountable to properly following up with leads. As a small Digital Marketing Agency, we don't need anything too robust. We just want something that's quick and easy to use. Pipedrive is perfect for that.

Pros: I really liked how visual the entire interface was, you could really see most of what was happening at any given time.

Cons: There was a little of a learning curve that was hard to overcome by some of the team members, and some of the functionalities overlapped in terms of the wording used so it made it a little confusing some times

Pros: Very easy to track progress made on sales, marketing and PR leads. Pipedrive gives me the ability to manage hundreds of leads in one place, and I never forget about a client I've opened up conversation with.

Overall: Makes management of sales and marketing leads extremely easy. I'm able to view all of my leads on one page and move them either forward or back depending on the progress that has been made.

Pros: Price and the ease of use. Very simple to setup various pipelines and the analytics are pretty good. The BCC deal specific email relay is a nice feature.

Cons: A few random bugs when switching from agent to agent and toggling between pipelines. As with all CRMs the data is only as good as the users who enter it in.

Pros: Pipedrive is the first CRM platform that has actually made me more productive -- motivating me to populate my data and tasks for my success rather than for compliance. Most CRM systems I've used seem more geared at allowing my boss to track my work than at helping me track my own goals.

Pipedrive's Deal Pipeline is the best use of a CRM system to allow me to track multiple types of deals and see both the high level and the important details at the same time. The deal dashboard gives me the insight I need to quickly schedule my highest priorities each day.

Cons: I'd like better integration with email. I'd like to be able to customize a bcc email to different deal types to keep my information organized without having to manually.

Overall: Easy tracking of relationships, deals, and conversations for my team and me.

I like the simplicity and integration of the software, but your chat support is horrible.

Pros: How it integrates with other software and allows me to expand the functionality. also, the dashboard is pretty user friendly.

Cons: How you don't support ANY of the native integrations. When I had a suggestion, the answer was go to talk to the other company. First time I ran into a tech challenge, I got a guy who had no clue as to what he was doing and it took 2 weeks to get it resolved.

Overall: It presents a solution for managing my own Pipeline and that of my clients.

Pros: I like that it is ready to go right from the start and that it is so easy to make modifications as needs arise without messing up what has already been entered. I also like that it linked to Outlook so easily and that the reminders come right to my email. I also like the mobile app and features so that I can keep up with my activities when I am away from the office.

Cons: Not sure about reporting and trending. I imagine I will get better at it as a go but, right now the immediate features are serving me well.

Overall: I am used to working with a ticketing/scheduling system and CRM to keep track of my process. I had been working with spreadsheets and order forms for 10 months. Pripedrive has given me a more efficient and non repetitive way to keep up with my business and follow up to close sales.

Pros: Pipedrive is a great bit of CRM software, we recommend it to customers now we like it that much and I use it across a couple of businesses I run. The key things I like are it is:
-Easy to use
-Simple to get up and running
-Ability to email in a prospect

Cons: There isn't anything I've found that I particularly dislike about Pipedrive, there are a few little niggly things like sometimes it mismatches quote emails and you can't customise the Slack messages so it doesn't show amounts but other than that it's all good.

Overall: It's simple and easy to use and very fast to get up and running with

Pros: It's great tool for overall sales, it's easy to move deals through pipeline and keep track of things.

Cons: However after exporting whole database (as ill advised by Pipedrive rep), as our seasonal sales doesn't require Pipedrive longer than 3 months a year, I am left with 5 separate files which can't be imported separably and matched in the system. All has to be done manually.

Therefore export all your contacts as one rep mentioned through filtering options in the organizations or contacts tab.

The best sales software out there. Got me organized and helped me be accountable.

Pros: At a glance, I can see what needs immediate attention and what is not as urgent. It helps put my mind at ease and I feel like I have control of the many pieces of information that come at me, since pipedrive is a means to keep track of names, dates, events, etc. I know I will receive reminders for activities coming up with all the information I put in so as to be able to keep pace with the many people I meet throughout the day.
As well, the immediate response to my questions is very helpful and reassuring.

Overall: I see the benefit of using software to help schedule my day. In sales, I simply cannot remember all the conversations I have with people, along with the details I need to track with each funeral arrangement. But with this CRM, I can put it in the system and forget it. the program will help me recall what I need, when I need it.

This is an excellent CRM system that delivers what it promises.

Pros: Pipedrive has implemented a Kanban pipeline management solution. This is ideal for an activity based sales model such as a SaaS vendor. All deal and contact information needed to take action is on one page. The mobile iPhone and iPad apps work equally well.

Pros: The system is incredibly intuitive. Most CRMs focus on jamming as many features into the product as possible. But being able to say "yes" to everyone's feature request should be far less important than making sure the product works well and is simple to use. Pipedrive nails that.

Cons: There are plenty of integrations via Zapier, but I'd love to see some built-in integrations to pull in data from other CRMs. When we first started, it would have been great to connect to Hubspot and pull in contacts and associated deals with as much data as Hubspot allows to be sent via their API.

Finally a CRM that I enjoy ending daily!

Pros: Pipedrive was so easy to set up and use that I barely needed to use the instructions. It is very easy to make changes, create new Pipelines, change the stages of the existing ones and to update information.
I love that it gives me warnings in my inbox if I have a deadline, and I love the different ways that I can filter the data and leads to make sure that I am focused on my highest priority.
This is one of the easiest programs that I have ever used to get up and running quickly.

Cons: Was a bit hard to figure out how to add additional fields, and they are not obvious, even when I have them there. Often people miss entering the correct data. I haven't used the reporting functions to any great extent. One thing that I noticed was that the reporting did not connect with emails send from my company email. Not sure why that is.

Easily the most intuitive CRM available. It took minutes to transfer data and get up an running.

Pros: Ease of use - Ease of set up - Dash boards are very good. It is very easy to customise additional fields in accounts. Importing and exporting data to excel is also very easy to do.

Cons: It would be nice to allocate actions by email to people outside pipeline, for example to a technical specialist. It would also be nice to have some hierachy of contacts but not at the expense of making it difficult to use.

Overall: Using Pipedrive to track our leads has taken our business to the next level. As a digital agency, remembering to follow up with clients and nurture leads is the only way to grow your revenue. The old fashion way of just letting emails sit in our inbox wasn't working. We needed something to help us out. A recommendation from a fellow marketer led us to try out Pipedrive and we closed a new deal that week! The integrations with Zapier and Drip are also amazing for automating some of the work.

Recommendations to other buyers: Actually use it! Still takes working the software into how your business runs to have it work for you.

Overall: We've been using pipedrive for over two years now. It's a great and intuitive CRM built by salespeople for salespeople.
From our experience, teams that work with pipedrive and build their pipelines correctly can have new salespeople generating sales very quickly after starting to work with the system - it's that intuitive.
Couple that with great zapier integration and other native integration and a very competitive price point, this is huge value for money.
We love it.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want simple but powerful sales tool, that salespeople actually like using - pipedrive is the answer, and the product is constantly evolving.

Overall: Using a sales pipeline tool stops business opportunities slipping through our fingers. PipeDrive is a nice simple piece of software to keep track of prospects and deals on a daily basis. At a glance we can see who we need to chase, proposals to write and invoices to send. It has become a key discipline driver to make sure we keep on doing the right thing. Without it I don't think we could have achieved the 45% year on year growth in 16/17.

p.s would be nice to be billed in sterling not Euros though.

Pros: Visual, drag-and-drop, flexibility to customise pipelines, stages and fields.

Cons: Having to change " deal" to " Deal" every time is annoying (it's a title so should be upper case).

Overall: I chose Pipedrive not just to manage all my deals in one place, but also to manage practically all other activities (projects) too.

The flexibility is provides to add new fields is SO helpful. Starting a new business, I'm capturing 20-40 new contacts per week - I added fields to each contact (where met and the date) so I can keep track of who's who instead of adding that information to the note for each one.

Pipedrive provides me a single system that is
- visual: clearly manage progression from start to finish
- drag-and-drop: so quick to update stages or move to another pipeline
- flexible: I customise pipelines & their stages titles to set out project progression too
- automated: setting timescales on each stage draws my attention to deals I that require
checking or action taking
- supported: I needed 2 questions answered, and the support was perfect (and immediate)!

I'm recommending this to everyone I meet to quickly and easily manage their sales (and projects) without the need for any great effort or distraction.

I'm setting up sales training courses and will be embedding use of Pipedrive into them: consistently managing pipelines is one of the most important activities for any salesperson.

Recommendations to other buyers: It would be really helpful (and really efficient) to have the option to be able to set default values on the fields for new items as they're added. For example. 1. Change automatic additions to titles Change the added text: " deal" to " Deal" or " Project" or " Anything Else" (maybe add an incremental count [number each client's deal Deal 001, Deal 002, etc.] : 2. Having the option to set a field value when adding a new item. Being able to set it to a fixed default value or the last value used (same as the last item added of that kind). E.g. I add all contacts met at an event at once. Having the 'where met' and 'when met' fields default to the last item added would automatically complete them for me every time.

Overall: We are a 10+ person sales organization who switched from Salesforce.com to Pipedrive about 6 months ago. We found Pipedrive much easier to use and the our sales people felt it was much more a tool for them rather than just a tool for management.

The API is a powerful tool and has been key to integrating Pipedrive to our back end systems. We initially switched because of the cost of Salesforce.com but soon discovered that Pipedrive was actually a much better system for us and at a more reasonable price.

Comments: I am the Pipedrive administrator and the lead generator at a commercial printer with 35 employees. Because of Pipedrive's intuitive design and helpful features, I not only won the support of our veteran reps, but also successfully on-boarded two new salespeople (one had used several other CRMs, while the other had never worked in outside sales). We're still learning how to adapt our workflow to the unique variables and challenges of our industry, but I'm confident Pipedrive is flexible enough, and the support team passionate enough, for us to continue succeeding with Pipedrive.

Comments: I like Pipedrive. It has a nice user-interface and some integration with gmail. The communication between Pipedrive and gmail is very helpful, but there are some features missing that make it difficult to trust whole-heartedly. These could be easily fixed, but I have no idea when that may happen (or if it's even on Pipedrive's list of To-dos).
1) no syncing of the contacts position or title at the company (this is huge, as I need to know and have to do it manually every time I set up a new deal)
2) Sorts contacts by first name only. What an oversight! It's harder to search for all the Scotts in my database than a last name, which often takes me right there.
3) I like the email syncing feature, but there is no calendar syncing feature. Since not all of my calendar activities/meetings are related to sales, I need to manually update my Pipedrive calendar.
Overall, I would recommend Pipedrive, but I am still actively looking for a better solution.

Overall: So I run a one-man shop doing management consulting and one of my clients started using Pipedrive on the recommendation of one of THEIR clients. Curious as to how it worked (and due to a generous free trial period), I signed up for the free trial, watched the demo, and started plugging in my data on new clients. After only a few days, I knew that this was going to be a core component of my business process.
Perhaps the single best feature on the desktop version is that it prompts you to input the next action on the deal once you've marked a task as done. This little feature is great for someone like me who's not a natural salesperson and who needs a little reminder to input a deadline/reminder on the next step to maintain forward progress. Now I get daily reminders on everything I need to do (synced across all devices), which is SUPER helpful when you're juggling multiple clients/deals.
Also, if you just stay on top of it and use Pipedrive to track your normal sales pipeline, the work is self-documenting. This means when it comes time to review your performance, all the critical data is there on how quickly deals move through your sales process. It's a tremendously helpful and customizable tool at a low price.

Overall: Before I tried Pipedrive, I was worried that it would be another lackluster, half-baked CRM experience. Having tried a number of them, I had been burned and wanted something that would meet my needs as an independent business owner: tracking deals, letting me know who to follow-up with, and storing essential data.

Pipedrive is everything I've wanted and more. Thanks to Pipedrive, I'm regularly closing 4- and 5-figure deals because I know exactly who to follow-up with.

I highly recommend Pipedrive to any Freelancer or Consultant who is looking for a CRM!

Cons: -I would like to have offline capability of the desktop.
-I would like to have my reminders from the iphone link into Pipedrive. I use Siri all the time and put my reminders in there. If I had it link up with Siri....boom....game changer. Even if it linked up with IOS reminders would be sweet.
- I would also like it when I make ANY(not just through the app) phone call prompt me if I want to put it in pipedrive.
- I would like the capability of adding more than one email to the same account. Right now I would have to pay for two users because I have two email accounts for different businesses.

Overall: I have done research on many different CRM's. I had no idea there was so many until I started looking. I checked out 30+ and demo'd 4 and decided on Pipedrive. It just fits right. It is customizable, easy to use, I can use it on my phone and it is helping me keep the big picture in mind. The best part is it is leading to more sales and it is keeping me professional and organized. I highly recommend using this system. I am a real person, not affiliated with Pipedrive and I am not someone getting paid to write this!!! That is what I think whenever I see a review like this. I run a business and really appreciate it when customers give us positive reviews.

Comments: After having wasted thousands of dollars on prosper works rubbish who wanted more money to give us "Sales Team Targets" features as well as being tired of over all lag, we decided to make a change over to pipedrive few months ago. Not only over entire sales team love it but it has also made my life a breeze with instant reports and overall super fast performance. We'll be sticking with pipedrive for many years to come. What I appreciate the most is that every single feature is available even with the very basic subscription and the fact, it's super super fast.

Pros: everything is sync with my google calendars and it is transparent across other sales members in my team, so my daily task and appointments can be monitored. Storing of notes and able to email and put ref attachments to my deals is a plus as well.

Cons: The app could use with a little bit of improvements, in terms of adding the option to be able to do more compare to the desktop version, so adding new deals and task to my existing clients can be easier, by duplicating an existing deal and etc. It would also be nice, if it can detect all the call i make to clients who are within the pipedrive database, instead of me searching form Pipedrive to make a call.

Overall: Lets not kid ourselves, Sales is a numbers game, and when it come to setting up several appointments a day, to follow up task, and to consistently hit your to do list everyday, to bring it closer to the closing is not only exciting, but very motivating. If there is one thing I can say about Pipedrive, is it should be renamed to SaleDrive! as it is sales driven, task & result oriented, and you can see everything in terms of performance to make sense of your numbers and sales conversions. Pipedrive should be a tool that all sales person should use, no matter what you are selling! Its my bible! its my daily bread, its my life. Thank you Pipedrive!

Overall: As a small business, we weren't very good at tracking and chasing enquiries.

Our business is roof coatings manufacture and we sell through a dedicated approved installer network, so perhaps tracking wasn't that important.

However, as our business has grown in popularity, we received enquiries from end-user clients (all business to business), but usually just passed these to our installers - and then forgot about them.

The problem is though, that roofing contractors aren't sales people. They rarely followed up and consequently, we probably lost a lot of sales leads.

We implemented Pipedrive in January 2017. It's now Mid-March and we are currently tracing 25 deals with a combined value of £1,250,000. We wouldn't even have written them down previously! January to March is a very quiet time in the roof coatings industry.

Now, when we get an enquiry from a client, we pass it to installers, but we call them and remind them to chase the deal - AND we chase the client to make sure that they are being looked after by our installer network.

Nobody to date has complained about the follow-up, in fact, they seem to be grateful that somebody is paying attention.

But it's not just those deals we are able to track.

By setting up multiple boards, we can now record all kinds of leads, not just the high value projects we are involved in.

For example, we now track new installer enquiries, professional training course enquiries (we train surveyors) and also "supply only" enquiries we get.

Pipedrive prompts our users (there's only three of us) to make calls and follow up on deals that would otherwise possibly just die.

It took a week to make the decision to upgrade from the free trial version.

Pipedrive isn't the first system we looked at, but it is the only one that has received universal praise for ease of use within the organisation and is the only one we've kept.

Just what the doctor ordered and so simple and easy to use.

Overall: We use a LOT of different software tools at Atmire. Some are "ok" and do the job but once in a while we come across a tool that really blows our mind. Pipedrive is such a tool.

It's a sales tracking and automation app that we have used to replace our older SugarCRM system. Incredibly quick, extremely well thought of UI, affordable pricing model. Very responsive support. Using it for almost a month now and I didn't find a single thing I didn't like. Only down side I can imagine (and that I read in reviews) is that it doesn't really scale to REALLY big sales teams. But it will be a few years before this is an issue for us.

Recommendations to other buyers: Stop comparing, pick Pipedrive. Now.

Cons: When we "win" a deal, it drops off so we have to create a copy of each deal so that we have something for our Sold Pipeline. It messes with our win/loss stats.

Overall: This is an incredible tool for our company. Pipedrive allows my colleagues and I to see a comprehensive view of each of our deals in real time without having to bother each other for updates. It has helped us to streamline our processes and create an efficient workflow system. Highly recommend!

Pros: Visualization of sales pipeline. It is easy to see which deals are lagging and give them the appropriate focus - or decide they are not worth the time.

Cons: Lack of automation in certain aspects. For instance, we do a high volume of outreach, I would like calendar reminders for follow ups to be set automatically - setting hundreds of reminders is far too cumbersome and not worth my time, in the end.

Overall: Very good software, overall. It has been particularly helpful with visualizing our sales pipeline, tracking overall progress, and organizing/timing each stage of our sales process.

Comments: In general I like how Pipedrive creates a logical flow to managing sales opportunities. It takes some getting used to as it is different from other CRMs. The email integration is a little odd because of the way emails are displayed.i have accidentally replied to an email after trying to forward it. I also had lots of problems importing a simple CSV file of contacts. That was a nightmare. I think this product is ok if you are limited to a few users, but I think they have a way to go to be really competitive in a larger enterprise.

Overall: Our 40-year-old company was rolling out a CRM for the first time. After looking at many of the "standard" options we found Pipedrive. Overall: We have been using Pipedrive since January 1st this year. It has truly transformed our business. The ability to customize process tabs and schedule meetings has driven our sales procedures. The App is fantastic and stable. I have never reviewed a piece of software before, however, this is not a standard crm tool, Drives your business. We hold a weekly meeting and display the dashboard as the main agenda.

Recommendations to other buyers: If it would be possible to integrate a SMS text function. I.e Notification to client's of an agreed meeting time and date, sent one hour beforehand.

When people ask me which one I think they should choose, I say, "That depends on what you want to accomplish with your business." Cons: Inability to filter by more (and simultaneous) specific criteria. For example, wanting to see specific deal description in a specific pipeline stage.
Inability to search within Notes and custom fields.

Overall: Our business requires us to track many aspects of a sale, not just the "winning" of it. Duplicating a sale to track its various aspects, creating multiple pipelines to manage these aspects, and then dragging and dropping a sale among the pipelines all make it possible for us to track and manage everything in our business easily, quickly, and effectively.

Overall: The ease of use is great. It's intuitive and great to look at. I really want to buy it BUT.......
If you run a report for let's say..........sales leads in £ value.
It miss calculates the value of them.

what happens is this
If you have £10,000 overall sales leads split into
£1000 Lead In
£5000 Quoted
£4000 Verbal Order
the report says you have
£10,000, plus (£10,000 minus £1000) plus (£10,000 minus £4,000) plus (£10,000 minus £5000) giving a miss represented overall figure of £30,000.

My monthly sales leads add up to £148,000 but the report gave me a figure of £543,000 because I have 6 stages and it miss calculates as above for each one. I cannot believe no one has noticed this before so I am left wondering

1. Does anyone actually use this product
2. Do they care it's broken

It's been 7 hours and counting since I told them so let's see if I get any response.

First of all I'd like to say Thank you to a Pipedrive's support, one of the best supports. Everything is good. Only two questions:
1. Its impossible to export activities as an Excel's file
2. Web forms are so great BUT they still create duplicates in CRM. When will you make the script that will check for duplicates in CRM?

Thank you for your kind comments regarding our Support. 1. You can export all activities to a Excel spreadsheet from the activities list view. Screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/uhQybLPy or alternatively, you can export all data (including activities) in the Settings > Export data. Both of these options are subject to regular user permissions. If you cannot see these option, you may need to ask one of the account administrators to enable this permission. 2. Web forms are able to detect people based on their Full name + Email address and/or phone number, Deals will not be merged - we are working on improving this feature and hopefully we will be able to add more complex duplicate detection option in the future. Pipedrive's strength lies in the efficiency of communicating multiple levels of sales information in one simple screen. The main Deals screen shows deal boxes with names and dollar values, and the placement indicates how far along the pipeline each is. For managers, this feature is incredibly useful for evaluating the strength of each salesperson's pipeline. Pipedrive creates a high degree of urgency since deals "spoil" after prolonged inactivity. It is extremely easy to quickly visualize the value of your pipeline and forecast when sales can be won.

CONS
Some utility is functioned in order to make the software easier to use. For example, the more active deals you have, and the more steps in the pipeline there are, the harder it is to see the overall picture. If you have more than three deals with minimal title/description info, they are pushed off-screen and it instantly defeats some of the efficiency that makes Pipedrive worth using. Also, when deals are won, they leave the pipeline, so it becomes very hard to track recurring business or fluctuating sales from the same customer. While you can record very detailed notes in each deal's profile, the information is presented in chronological-list form. This may create a need for another program or database to save data-oriented details about your client. If your industry has a long-term sales cycle with many prospective clients and fluctuating repeat business, Pipedrive will not be the only platform you use for CRM.

Comments: We switched from base to Pipedrive and found it quite intuitive and easy to navigate. Overall visualisation on deals and multi pipeline options are very much appreciated. Not complaining for now. Does the job we want it to do. Easy to customise and integrate with other tools like slack for instance.

Comments: I was running in the same shoe like all the excel maniacs to sort out the daily tasks, clients, requests with several mistaken input and forgotten clients. In summer finally my HD died and I lost all my detailed excel sheets (which is my fault) and was very frustrated.
I was starting to look after some mobile optimised CMR with less success than excel. I was visiting some CMR workshops but my company is too small for them to work with me. What a pity! So, I tried to specify a searching phrase which can give me a good and usable answer and I did it - there was an uncommon but very friendly page with the name Pipedrive.
And I am using it for some months and can tell you that is really really friendly to use and supportive and flexible and areal value for my tiny company's money. Thank you guys and keep on!

Being a consultant who doesn't like to 'do sales', this helps me manage that in a few mins per day!

Comments: I love being able to manage my sales process, the same way that I'd handle a project. Like a scrum board, where you would move tasks from left-to-right/start-to-finish, PipeDrive lets you move possible clients from left-to-right/lead-to-close through the your own sales process. I'm in and out in a few minutes every couple days, and every time I close out an activity for someone in the pipeline, it forces me to create the next one and reminds me days or weeks later when it is time to do that activity. I no longer burn mental energy trying to recall where I left off with a prospect, or spend any time hunting down the last thread of emails to recall who that person was or what I communicated last time, it's all there in my PipeDrive, the emails, my call notes, last time I sent something or spoke to them. The hardest part of PipeDrive, is stopping using it when you close the deal. Then you actually need to move all that, into a project management system.

Drag and drop deals
Emails pop up in the company, so you can see all your history

Cons: Minimal integrations
Lack of features
Needs a quoting feature and email tracking

Overall: Works well, easy to use interface with excellent graphics.
Best function is the one that you can drag and drop deals to the next stage of the pipeline.

Would be good if they added a few integrations like Outlook etc.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make it into an online marketing program as well

Comments: I have a background in software design and this is really designed well with the User Experience as a priority. We all hate keyboard entry, but it makes it as effortless as possible with the ability to add any component on the fly (like a new company). It is ideal for smaller companies that just need sales tracking and a dashboard.

Comments: App seems to operate ok but doesn't allow you to input customised fields. I.e. I added custom fields which are needed to be captured but they don't display on the mobile interface

Thang, Unfortunately, the mobile app is only complementary to the web app. that means that customization is only available in the web app. In the mobile app, you need to be sure you have the last version and that Pipedrive has synced recently. Pros: easy to you use along side your calendar, day to day running is smooth, admin functionality is easy to edit for settings and to mold it to how you want it to work for your company

Cons: Not evolved enough compared to many CRM systems and 2017 needs to bring many features to suit the individual

Overall: The system is quite easy to use and follow but needs to evolve quite a lot as nearly every time I have queried the reply has been 'it is something we are looking to add in the near future'. I have had several issues most have been rectified which has been technical which has been done no issues thank you, but there are several features that need to be added like custom fields for reporting for sure.
