Pros: The support. Jeff, Kristen and Dan have been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I also can't say enough about how great everyone who answers the phones are.

Cons: Sometimes difficult to navigate. Butusually I can just call somebody at the company and they'll help me take care of it. So that really hasn't ever been a really big problem.

Pros: - Customizable, and easy to make changes
- Can be used from any computer
- Easy and straight forward to learn and use
- Excellent customer service
Justin, our representative is so helpful and understanding, and was able to help us within minutes.

Cons: I wish we had used this software sooner! We don't have anything negative to say, as any issue is fixed smoothly and quickly.

Overall: More online bookings, more efficient and less mistakes with bookings and costs.

Pros: Web-based and very intuitive. Best of all the reporting features give just about every report you can think of

Cons: The least i like would be bringing all the reporting together for your personal needs. You can work with them to figure that out however

Pros: The system is easy to use and the staff is super helpful, fast and professional when interacting with them when i have the need

Cons: Some useability issues but overall i really like the system and have stopped listening to pitches to switch

Pros: Integrates nicely with my website. I can see who has booked and how many spots I have available on my desktop and mobile device.

Cons: you have to use separate platforms if you have multiple sites. All information won't go into one dashboard/platform.

Pros: It is great for our business as the 3rd party to have an access to correct inventory. Easy to make reservations and quick service for our guests.
Fantastic customer service - our rep has been amazing to deal with! Quick answer, great communication, always trying to help!

Cons: Would like to see better integration of the reports being able to turn them into invoices. It is not easy to keep track of who paid us for the bookings we made but not collected payments, unless we are using excel, making invoices and adding payments manually.
Also, I won't give me a detail reports on how some of the deposits were paid with us (cash, credit card, room charge). We collect some deposits and some trips we only make reservations for.

Pros: The support is great - they are able to create workarounds when needed, and are super responsive. The software is very flexible.

Cons: There aren't any workable methods for instructors to manage their availability which then would generate availability on the booking platform. Also, no summer camp style option. Please expand guys!

Pros: Easy to make bookings and access any information about booking at any given time. Also, that we can make calls to the guests directly through the app.

Cons: Not so easy to set up or make changes on items. Any time we would like to set up a new item it seems so hard to add price or make changes later on availability. Maybe we just haven't learned how to properly use it yet. Not sure. It could be a user problem.

Pros: I have used other booking software but my business gets charged with the tranaction fee, when guests book online with fareharbor the booking fee is passed on to the customer.

Cons: The software is very involved, and so it is sometimes difficult to train new employee on the system, however once learned it is a great system.

Pros: Every time I call your support department, they are courteous, helpful and go out of their way to find a solution. It's nothing short of amazing in this day and age to have a department trained so well. Whoever is training and hiring for this department deserves a raise. Amazing job.

Cons: Software can be a little more intuitive, but usually I send an email to my rep or support and it's done within 24 hrs.

Overall: More sales, better customer service, and faster turnaround for customers.

Pros: The ease of navigating through a few clicks. Clarity of dashboard. Instructional how- tos and videos.

Cons: Some things are not apparent, however, the support from customer service provides solutions and "how to" which makes the software easier to navigate.

Pros: Very responsive to questions. Helpful with implementing changes and proactive with looking for ways to increase conversions.

Cons: Cost is billed to the customer at a pretty high percentage of sale price. I wish there was a way to pay Fareharbor directly. Relatively steep learning curve; the support is helpful, but they often just do whatever I need done for me instead of teaching me how to do it. There are some tasks that seem to take way too many clicks and screens.

Pros: This has been a life saver for our small rafting business. It does almost everything!! The support staff was great in helping set this up for us and I helped build it which was a great way to learn the system. This res system has truly made our lives easier and has unified our company. Can not thank them enough. Our guides and reservationists LOVE it. I do almost everything in my iPhone and it is very comparatively with the small screen. Fareharbor is wonderful and I recommend them to everyone.

Cons: There is little I do not like. I wish there were additions to the system like being able to send invoices with in the system and a way to track employees and all there certifications and renewal dates.

Pros: Easy to use and customize on the fly. setup was easy and menus are easy to navigate. Many features we don't even use because it gives us everything we need.

Cons: Many features and it just take a bit of time to learn the hidden features in order to customize the software.

Overall: It works completely autonomous with very little tending.

Pros: Ease of use, cost, live support when needed even though it's not. Set up was a breeze, the team integrated into my website seamlessly and my customers are raving about how easy it is for them to book trips online now! Pros: Could not be easier to use. Great customer service. FareHarbor constantly upgrades their system and works with us to make improvements. The FareHarbor team responds to issues and inquiries immediately and resolve things appropriately. We have never had an issue go unresolved. They listened to our needs and helped us customize our FareHarbor experience to suit. It has performed near flawlessly for three years. Our online reservations jumped from 6 per month to 25 or so per month almost immediately after deploying FareHarbor. Guests love the interface and ease of use. We love the cost to us (nothing) and the dramatic increase in direct bookings. They also redesigned our website. Updates to our website are only an email away and the end result looks and functions perfectly. We have been approached by many competing software systems over the years and have looked into all of them. None of them can touch FareHarbor.

Cons: We have not come across any "cons" with FareHarbor. Any issues we come across and communicate to FareHarbor are resolved.

Overall: Working with FareHarbor has allowed us to modernize our website and reservations system into something that is appealing to our customers. It's easy to use, it's secure, and allows us to create more revenue through direct bookings and keep our cashflow rather than having to pay fees to a reservation software company.

Pros: The custom, automatic email confirmations, reminders and follow ups are great. We love that we can take the system wherever our phones are and it gives us a tremendous amount of flexibility.

Cons: It's not that I like it least, but I would like to be able to schedule guides for days off in the calendar. I have a work around but if I can add crew to a day I'd like to be able to block crew off for a day as well. I'd also like to be able to sort my pickups on the manifest in the order they get picked up

Overall: My guides can check their schedules. I can take the system with me and check up on availability. The ease of making a reservation by the customers is great and if I have questions I just call and the staff is extremely helpful.

Pros: We rely on this software on a daily basis to keep us all connected. I love how it keeps all of our calendar events so organized and simple to follow. Bookings and details are easy to update and track, and can be rebooked, refunded or revised with a click of a button.

Pros: - Easy to use/understand.
- The development/support team: Every member of the FareHarbor team has always gone above and beyond to support our needs to maximize profits! One member, helped get a huge Accounting project up and running on our end, and we truly not be able to achieve our goal without the support and time he gave us.

Cons: - We have other streams of revenue other than tour based, and unfortunately the software cannot incorporate our retail line of business as well.

Cons: It would be great if there was a way to duplicate the data already imputted from the initial record into additional records (in the same way that you can so for more than one additional record)

Pros: Easy of use and the customer support. The reporting, ability to find clients, taking payments over the phone, accurate accounting, really easy reporting.

Cons: Setting up a new season is complicated, but I have a meeting to get help. I asked for help and the team sent me instructions. I learn better by doing not reading.

Pros: It has allowed us to sell our tickets online, and it has allowed us to keep track of our customers in a much more organized way than we were. I think our favorite functionality about this software would have to be the whole booking system. We love being able to use it for our reservations.

Cons: It is extremely difficult to manage. When we have a tour that changes dates, times, locations, etc, digging through the pages to find what I need is taxing and a waste of my valuable time. I wish the system was over-simplified, It would help me run my business faster and more efficiently. For example, the entire "Items" edit feature. It needs a new system for me to be able to easily change my event settings, without having to go through twenty pages before I find the settings I need. After taking training on how to use the system, I still can't quite understand how to give my customers percentages off, or discount codes. Our Christmas sale took me 2 days to figure out how to set it up on the system.

Overall: Our sales have quadrupled. Thank you, Fareharbor!

Pros: Everything .

As the marketing / media coordinator for a tour / activity based resort, it's important to have a reliable software system that is easily navigable for both users AND consumers. Our company made the switch over to Fareharbor 3 months ago and since then have seen a huge increase in both online bookings & workplace efficiency.

From the user's point of view, every tour and activity calendar is easily accessible through a simple yet responsive & comprehensive dashboard. Creating over the phone bookings couldn't be easier - computer literacy among-st employees is no longer an issue & time spent on fixing user - errors is non existent.

The customer support we've received has been nothing short of phenomenal. One of the customer representative has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are not only set up to succeed but STRIVE in our industry. The thought of calling in to customer support doesn't automatically overwhelm you with anger - instead you know you'll be talking to a staff member who has familiarized themselves with your company allowing them to provide specialized insight.

Pros: Ease of use. After looking at other booking hardware, it is the apple product equivalent. This is what it would have looked like if I designed it myself.

Cons: I have not encountered an issue with the software at all. My staff embraced it quickly with minimal training.

Pros: We looked at a few different options before landing on fareharbor, and I have previous experience with other software. We have about 13 different companies wrapped up into one and pretty much any situation we have come up has been handled with relative ease. Fareharbor does a really good job with blending advanced back end options with an interface that is laid out in a very user friendly way. We've been using the software for about 4 maybe 5 months and a very busy Easter served as a solid proving ground. I could not be happier with the decision to go with Fareharbor. All said and done we have 13 dashboards that are all intermingled. even in the short 4 months we've had the software there have been several upgrades that have added tremendously to the flow and mostly to the back end reporting side. Customer service has been a pleasure to work with and my contact person was phenomenal at helping me get just what was needed. We were in constant, daily communication, and I greatly appreciate his help getting us going and then some. I've got a great feeling going into the 2017 season with very solid booking tool and online presence.

Pros: Of course it manages our reservations and processes payments but it also incorporates the essentials of a client contact management system. This was an unexpected benefit of converting to Fareharbor. We use the system to make and document outgoing client contacts and record basic notes about specific needs of a customer. For a business like ours in which the majority of customers are one time transactions, the ability to create and document basic email and text messages is a real time saver and greatly increases our ability to interact with customers in a positive manner.
In addition, the easy to use Public Banners are a way to convey pertinent information to potential customers BEFORE they call, saving valuable phone time for our associates.

Seamless use of the platform on an iPad or even an IPhone free up weekends.

Pros: Super easy to use! Even our older ticket staff catches right on. Its intuitive and quick. It's fun working with software that is so thoughtfully designed. The customer support is top notch with real people actually answering the phone when you call.

Cons: I can't think of anything. If there is, it would be minor tweaks. I know a lot of other local companies in our area are switching over.

Overall: Better productivity, record keeping, reporting, etc etc!

Pros: Very deep, extensive functionality. It blows me away how much you can do with this software. The level of customization is mind boggling. We were formerly with Bookeo and it was alright, especially considering the low price, but it was quite simplistic and that caused us some frustrations. It was also pretty outdated in the user interface appearance.

Fareharbor booking interface looks very slick and it's a lot quicker for customers and reservationists to make bookings. The software on the backend is very powerful and well thought out. You get complete functionality on mobile and iPhone app that you do with desktop. Bookeo was frustrating how watered down their mobile version was. And they said they had zero interest in making an iPhone or Android app.

Fareharbor is a "full service" solution the likes of which I have never seen. They have a department that will create a new Wordpress website for you, a dept that works to set up affiliate access so third parties can book through the system without calling you. They integrate seamlessly with Viator/Expedia/etc. They have several teams of people that specialize in different areas. You get a ton of attention as a new customer and they take care of almost all the setup work. If you are the type that doesn't want to learn how to do any of this kinda stuff yourself or you don't have the time to, Fareharbor is a great solution. I was skeptical that any booking software could be THAT much better than another, but it really is.

Cons: I was very excited to hear about all the many impressive features they offer. What I didn't realize is that it takes a lot of effort to set them all up. Granted they can do ALL of the work for you, so you're in no way left on your own with any of it. But it does take time.

I'm a do-it-yourself kind of person; Bookeo was 100% do-it-yourself and I was fine with that. I'm the type of person that doesn't like asking for help or asking other people to do something for me. I want to figure it out and customize it myself. ...Fareharbor is NOT a do-it-yourself system. You will absolutely need their help for a lot of the features to get set up properly. I tried exploring on my own to set up some customization and there's no way you'd be able to figure out most of the feature setup on your own. To be fair, their software isn't designed to be that way, though. It's not a Squarespace/Wix/Bookeo style product. It's very customizable, and as such, you need their help.

It takes some time, dozens of phone calls and emails over the course of weeks (and months, as you fine-tune the deeper features). And there is a learning curve. But the depth of functionality and the extensiveness of their software is worth it in the end. Tech support team is great, always taking calls 24/7 (email response time is kinda slow though). Can't imagine anyone else being better. I see why they have so many customers.

Overall: Everything related to booking and reservation management, payment processing, etc.

Pros: convenience. negligible downtime. once it's set up, super easy to use. Extremely responsive customer service whether you call or email and some of the fastest email customer service I have ever seen. They know their product - no matter who you work with. Don't see what you need? just ask them. They've done a lot of "custom" (for lack of a better word) work so we can better accommodate our needs. Any company using reservations can afford this platform. Continuously one of the highest rated among reservation platforms. Reporting system. User permissions. You name it, Fare Harbor can do it.

Cons: There are only two things I can say I like the least - 1) FareHarbor would save a million man hours if they would offer the fareharbor credit card slider that connects to your phone, like Square. Having to manually enter all the credit card info when on-site for walkups or partial payments can slow me down considerably. and 2) More robust crew scheduling abilities. For example, I'd like my guests to be able to request specific tour guides - so ability to assign crew to specific customers would be very helpful for me.

I don't dislike the new reports, but I definitely like the old Legacy reports better. I don't use many reports in fareharbor but the ones I do, I prefer the older Legacy. The new reports are not showing any private or locked tours in reports.

Overall: Still getting benefits. Can't say enough about super responsive customer service. If you need something and they can do it, they will do it.

Pros: Pretty much does everything I want it to do. I call and ask and they can do it! Love that I can be completely mobile and do everything that I would on a desktop. That was a very important feature for me.

Cons: More complex then necessary in my opinion. Sometimes there are a million drill down options that seam unnecessary. Can't customize e-mail look either.

Overall: big selling points were that I can be mobile and do everything I need to do, mainly assign crew.

Pros: FareHarbor is extremely user-friendly, very functional, straightforward, and has wonderful customer service. We recommend FareHarbor to every boating company in the Santa Cruz Harbor and Monterey! I believe most companies have switched over to FareHarbor by now. Great FH employees and I love working with each and every one of them! FareHarbor has truly made our life at work much easier and we are very grateful for this system. Being able to customize the system to fit our unique company model has been very useful.

Overall: FH saves our office staff roughly 6 hours of work per day! Our customers now signup online more than over the phone. We have seen an increase in signups since using FH. Pulling reports for accounting, months end and year end is much easier. FH has reduced our phone conversation time with each customer drastically. On average, we used to spend 7 minutes on the phone per customer. On average we now spend 2 minutes. Booking private charters is now just a click of a button away. It used to take us 30 minutes to create a private charter on our old reservation system.

Pros: FareHarbor is the single best software purchase I have made for my business. It has streamlined my whole booking procedure. I was using an antiquated system - trading countless emails with guests and chasing leads non-stop. FareHarbor is so much more efficient and saves me countless hours. Moreover, FareHarbor's software can be tailor suited to your individual business needs. FareHarbor has allowed me to capture all necessary customer information and forms upfront! In addition, as a web-based application, I can access my booking calendar from anywhere in the world that has internet connection - so I am always connected no matter where I go. However, the best part about FareHarbor is the customer support and help! There 24/7 phone support is amazing - and it's real people, not automated. When I transitioned to this new software, I relied heavily on the helpline support - they are fabulous! Also a special thanks to one of the customer representative in the Channel Development team who has worked so hard on my behalf training my agents on how to use the software system!! Pros: What we like most about the software is being able to customize basically everything to meet our needs. If they do not have something then they will have their programmers work with you and make it happen. Also the customer support is great. Someone is always available or returns a phone call very quickly with any questions we might have.

Cons: The only issue we have with the software might be the ease of use. But it is easily made up by someone from customer support being available to help answer questions.

Pros: I like the fact that the software is free to use for the vendors. We have a lot of things to do in order to run our tours and the software side is not one of the things where we want to spend very much time. I like that they agreed to build my website. I also like that I am able to book other tours more easily than ever before.

Cons: It's not very user-friendly at all. I don't have time to read the manual for this. I have to keep asking for help on how to set things up. Other interfaces that I've used have been user-friendly, but they weren't free to use. Fareharbor is building my website for free (which I appreciate), but it takes months to get a picture changed on my webpage ( they never let me know when my website was complete and it wasn't well made). I might be looking to switch soon if it doesn't get fixed.

Pros: Hard to pick just one but the exemplarily customer service and the customizability. I can't remember any other product I've worked with where it is so easy to get a tech support person on the phone who know the product so well as can help. The software is also easy to customize to our needs.

Cons: Some of the features aren't very intuitive to the end user such as how custom fields and discount codes are implemented.

Overall: Takes a lot off my plate for scheduling classes and events and gives a very professional internet interface for us.

Pros: I like EVERYTHING about Fareharbor! The software and the customer support is excellent! I use this for two businesses, charter fishing and shark diving in Hawaii, very easy and customer support is always a phone call away.

Pros: Very visually appealing and very easy to navigate. The booking icons are very professional looking at there seems to be no way people would have a hard time using it.

Cons: On the back end, the confusing names for our boat rentals (resources), captains, etc. Hard to remember...just don't seem to make sense to us.

Overall: Great in my efforts to completely eliminate paper in our bookings processes.

Pros: I was a cast away from Zerve when they went out of business on July 4th, 2016, (busiest weekend of the year for tour companies). FareHarbor saved me by stepping in and setting up a new reservations system on my website immediately. They were very patient with me and walked me through the use of the new software and dashboard so I could get through that 4th of July. I was welcomed on board by everyone from the CEO all the way down to the brains of the outfit in Tech Support.
Anytime I had a question all I had to do was give tech support a call or drop them an email and they would respond immediately. I can not say enough about how great these new friends are!
I can only recommend that you seriously consider getting on board with them and get your business growing; mine did!

Pros: That it feels like it reflects the ins and outs of my daily operation and works like another appendage of everything. I honestly love the text message and email options.

Cons: I'm probably a bit of a different client in that I'm a solo operator and so tend to let everything "run itself" with very little intervention from myself as user. My daily use is simply checking reservations and if need be, rebooking and sending out text messages or emails. I personally do not process credit cards. But I also work directly with another tour business on a daily level who does use it more to full capacity with their multiple tour offerings and multiple users and they have no complaints.

Overall: Increased knowability and organization and some days it feels like the most organized part of the business.

Pros: Easily manages everything that our marina has to offer from boat rentals, dolphin tours, even slip rentals. The tech support is the best I have encountered in any industry.

Cons: Booking other affiliates is a little clunky at best and sometimes not possible. Every new employee has to be granted access which can be difficult with normal turnover. It would be better if they could just grant a universal access to anyone with our company to book our partners.

Overall: Easy to use, excellent at keeping everything organized.

Pros: I love the Online calendar that can be displayed directly on our home page and the completely customizable features. Pair that with the best tech support department in the business and Fareharbor is a no brainer.

Cons: System has a very steep learning curve and the different areas where the functions are, can be hard to find.

Overall: Allows us to have a centralized place to hold all our tours and tour affiliates like TripAdvisor and Expedia!

Pros: Fast, simple to access and view. Basic changes are easy. The price per transaction for the customer is some of the best around. Best of all is the phone support behind the software. My employees and guides seem to like how their delegate accounts work. I also like the Partnerships Program (but want to find a way to make sales more effective for us).

Cons: Going below the surface things get not so clean and easy. I know I can always call customer support and they will help. But it should be easier to navigate. Sometimes the help menu solutions don't fully match up with problems.

Pros: It's very easy to use! Our guests like being able to book directly online. I like the fact I can check bookings any time from my tablet or phone.

Cons: I like how you get emails for confirmed bookings. I wish I could get text or app notifications for bookings.

Pros: Cost of the software is what I like the best. Thought it would be an issue for customers to pay the per ticket fees, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Cons: Reports not detailed enough. We have a difficult time trying to see when deposits are made and how they are reported as broken down. Need more detail.

Pros: It works. It is 100% stable. Easy reporting. Easy for my staff to use and easy for our customers to use. And, they have GREAT customer support.

Cons: Its the most expensive of the various ticket processing programs that we have used, but I in this particular case, you get what you pay for. Its expensive, but its worth it.

Pros: It is easy to navigate, I can get up every morning and just open fareharbor and all is set for me for the day. I can go in and change whatever I need at anytime.

Cons: There is nothing I like least about this software. Whenever I need help i just pick up the phone
and i can get all the help i need.

Pros: Ease of use, the screens and layout is easy to navigate, easy to learn and become proficient.

Cons: Sometimes it loads slowly. Would like to be able to create and send customer satisfaction survey in Fare Harbor without needing a third party. Would like to be able to transfer invoice to QuickBooks.

Pros: F.H. has a phone number where you can talk to their Customer Support. This is much better than just an email service. Also, while talking to Customer Support, they can look and see the screens as you step through them.

Cons: There is no ad hoc reporting feature where you can design your own reports. The "canned" reports do not allow you to slice and dice data for your specific need.

Pros: It's easy to navigate. For ticket sales, the process is easy for both consumers and staff in creating bookings, purchasing tickets and processing payments. And the reporting tool makes it easy to monitor sales and track growth.

Cons: After using the software for almost a year, we haven't had any limitations prohibiting us to grow our manage our bookings.

Overall: Revenue has more than tripled from online ticket sales. All of our reservations are housed in one place giving multiple departments access to manage and monitor bookings. It has streamlined our process for managing our daily tourism business.

Pros: Customer service is what sets Fare Harbor apart from other similar services. They have consistently found ways to make our business visions a reality. Furthermore, Fare Harbor is agile enough to move at the speed of small business. The turn around times on infrastructure build outs is quite impressive.

Cons: It is a complex system and there are times that our vision is beyond our capability. With that said, they have yet to say no to completing the build out for us, thus removing the complexity on our end.

Pros: The customer service is incredible! If there is an issue, big or small, I can email and it will be taken care of right away! There's never any problem with the customer service team handling what I ask of them - they always seem to know exactly what I'm talking about. I actually work on 2 different FH accounts and there never seems to be any mix-ups or confusion from FH about what is happening to which account. They are the best - I wish ever customer service or troubleshooting team was like this!

Cons: Sometimes it can be tricky to figure out where certain information lives within an item. I prefer to be as self-sufficient as possible and sometimes it takes me quite awhile to find where I need to go. A lot of info blocks have very similar names, but live in different places, so that can be confusing.

Pros: very straightforward & user friendly - so easy to learn on the go, which was nice, because we were using it pretty much immediately. Any changes we need to make, customer service is super helpful & changes are made unbelievably quickly!

Cons: Due to the nature of our business- trips at different times each day (due to tides)- it is a very time intensive process to input our schedule. As well, we often will swap hour long trips for hour & a halfs, and vice versa- but these are considered 2 separate items in the system, so making that change is kind of annoying.

Overall: an amazingly responsive customer service team, exposure to different guests we likely missed previously, increased communication/information as captains can easily access the schedule via the app or website

Pros: It has tremendous functionality. It can be used with very simple business models, as well as very complex ones. I use it for three different companies. One is very basic, bare-bones. The other two are extremely complex, so I have been digging into the myriad of features and functionality over the past three months as we launched it for the two more complex companies. There is a lot to learn for the more complicated businesses (as expected), but once I figured it all out, it all makes sense and I am able to really maximize the functionality.

The staff is very responsive and always there to help with questions, problems, and even assigning tasks to them.

In addition to providing booking software, they also designed new websites for me for free, which increased the company's visibility online, so our sales have increased. The also have a free online call center (I haven't made use of this yet).

They are constantly rolling out new and better upgrades.

I am extremely happy with this product and with the staff behind it.

Cons: FareHarbor charges the customer 6% of the gross for online bookings (the customer isn't charged this 6% if they call in and book directly over the phone). I'd like to have the option to absorb that 6% on our end so the customer doesn't pay it. The closest we can get is to offer a 6% online booking discount, but I would prefer the option of allowing us to absorb a portion or all of that 6% on the back end instead.

That being said, until I started typing this review, I've never thought of asking them if they would be willing to implement an option like this! I'll be asking tomorrow. Knowing they are constantly improving the product and they do take customer suggestions seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they consider doing this in the future.

Overall: Online bookings 24/7 is huge for us. Fewer phone calls and a greater ability to focus on providing the product rather than selling.

Pros: Easy to use (once you get the hang out it), easy to explain to customers, works well for our guides, great customer support.

Cons: Took a little getting used to, but it was worth it. My only complaint is the multi-step system needed to check in customers with the app. This could be streamlined

Overall: We have tried other booking systems for our three tours but have never been as satisfied as we have been with the simplicity and quality of FareHarbor. It's easy to use for us, our staff, and our customers and we saw an immediate jump in business after we switched over from the company we used before. I have highly recommended FareHarbor to friends who are also in the tourism business and promise that if you try them out, you won't be sorry!

I call and they say I manager will call me back , they don't. fareharbor went live with my booking with out my permission changed to code on the web site with out my permission, costing the company thousands of dollars. the web site could not take bookings they would not change it back return our calls, refused to give me the name of who was on the phone, was put on hold maney times to get did connected, the soft ware looks great but the service was not their. it says 24/7 but when my company cant book grouped no one is to be found. a little more about this after speaking to someone that was nameless I was to speak with a manager that never got on the phone after an hour on hold. when I called back no one would answer at all. the few times I did speak to someone they said that they were "just so busy the tecks have not yet done it yep three days later still no return call. Looks like I am going to have to go to court to get anything done. Stay way from this company. in 35 years I have never came across such a mess. Stay away and tell your friends. don't make the same mistake and loose thousands of dollars and customers like us.

Pros: One of the best things about this product is the calendar. It can be sorted by product, by bookings, by day, or any other way you would like to view your events. The system can also be integrated with Groupon, or many other third party vendors like Expedia. The best thing about Fareharbor is the people. The two reps that we worked with (Philippine and Michael) were the best people I have ever worked with.

Overall: We had a different ticketing system for about a year and a half and had a very hard time working with it so we decided to switch. I am so glad we did! Fareharbor is amazing. Not only is the system wonderful and easy to use, but the staff are amazing. We had Philippine and Michael working with us and they literally did all the work. They were astounding in what they did, and whatever they are making is not enough. They literally built our whole system for us and had us ready to go live in about 2 weeks. Once the system was launched it was so easy to use and they have a beautiful calendar that makes every event so easy for everyone to see. On top of that we were not left on our own after we launched and no problem was too small for the Fareharbor team. I can not say enough good things about Fareharbor and the reps that we worked with.

Overall: Our rep helped me this year when I did my taxes and the numbers didn't add up.....I can say that he is the BEST customer service rep I have ever asked for help. He went through every deposit with me (well over 300), and helped me find my mistake. He did not hand me over to anyone else when it became time consuming or complicated. He was right there with me and did not quit until we found the problem (I made the mistakes). He also continues to check on us periodically just to check in and make sure we are doing well.....A+ for caring, customer service....worth every penny!

Pros: The software is very intuitive and easy to use. Anything I want to do is usually right there and I don't waste a lot of time searching for the menu that has the option I want to change or add.

Cons: Honestly I haven't found anything I can complain about with the software.

Overall: FareHarbor is an excellent service. The product is very easy to use and intuitive. Better than the product is the customer support. As a business owner I don't have the time or energy to learn an entire online platform. Their team built my product and trained me on how to make simple changes I want to make. Any challenges I haven't been able to do on my own their customer support staff has happily shown me how to achieve the outcome I wanted or just took care of it for me. They are quick to respond to inquiries and answer the phone when I call. There are other online platforms I can not say the same thing about. I absolutely love the experience I have had with FareHarbor.

Pros: Intuitiveness, functionality, complex capabilities, and continued growth on how to improve the software

Cons: I need a one hour webinar on how to maximize the functionality. There is so much power in this system that I know I am not maximizing it.

Overall: I am thrilled with the capabilities, intuitiveness and support that the Fareharbor system provides. Fareharbor knows how to run a business and keep the customer experience maximized. Excellent!

Overall: While implementing the processes of my business plan, I reached a point when I had to choose a ticketing company for my food tour. FareHarbor was the clear choice. I researched every aspect of the food tour industry and choosing the right ticketing company is a priority. FareHarbor stood head and shoulders above the rest. At the very first call, my questions were answered in a way that showed me they care about my business. What may have seemed obvious to others, FareHarbor never took for granted in explaining the online ticketing business model.
The real test of FareHarbor's integrity came when I admitted I was struggling with my website design. This is when Tyler Sindel, my account executive at FareHarbor, came to the rescue. He listened to me describe my vision for the website and produced a product that surpassed all of my expectations. Tyler has been a constant support for my start up. He is never more than email for phone call away. He is professional and displays exemplary patience and understanding with my learning curve. My business start up would not be where it is today without Tyler's help. I am truly indebted to him. We launch our tours next month and are proud to partner with FareHarbor.

Cons: Not intuitive. steep learning curve. Although support is there to help

Overall: We started our hot air balloon ride company in May of 2014. We tried 2 other booking companies before choosing FareHarbor. First, they assigned us a transition person who set up our account and services. Made sure the prepayments from our other software was accounted and credited to the correct ride/passengers. Secondly they helped in integrating FareHarbor booking into our website. Third, I have called support a few times and have always received timely solutions and answers.

FareHarbor continues to update their software and add additional features. Recently we added affiliate (3rd party) services and gift certificates.

4 stars for ease of use. (needs improvement) Finding the area to change, update or add is not always intuitive BUT 5 Stars customer support has always been there to help!

Recommendations to other buyers: I like the Integrated credit card services but I would like to see refunds from cancellations be credited quicker to our customers

Pros: Flexibility, ability to change items on the fly and really give the best customer service I can because I can be flexible. I integrate it with my personal calendar so I get the bookings synced right to my phone. The ability to be flexible. Did I mention how flexible it is?

Cons: There are a couple items that are tricky to set up, but why would you when you can just email or call and have them do it. I'm learning to delegate to them, and it's freeing up even more of my time... ok that part's not a con, but the tricky to set up thing is.

Overall: We chose FareHarbor after having issues with our past "#1 Online Booking System," including it's failure to list a calendar when our site was viewed on mobile. I wouldn't have left if not for the stream of failures of the other software, which was pretty nice when it worked... now I'm happy it happened because FareHarbor is amazing. We are an escape room business with 3 themes, 4 rooms, 5 menu selections. It took a few days to get everything dialed in with FareHarbor, now the system saves me so much time and effort. The flexibility is amazing. I was a little worried because, although you can do everything yourself, it seemed you are encouraged not to. I worried this was going to be an issue, but their customer support is top notch. If I want schedules, promotional campaigns, ANYTHING changed, they get it done, and probably faster and smoother than trying to do it myself. Yet I still have the flexibility to easily change and add bookings, dates, prices, availability to individual activities on the schedule on the fly. Two of our rooms can be booked together or separately. We used to put them on schedule separately (book individual rooms this time of day, book pair of rooms for bigger groups that time of day) since if one of the rooms was booked, the two room option was no longer available. With FH both options are on schedule and customer demand drives the calendar selection... if one is chosen, the two room option automatically stops displaying, and the other room can still be booked individually (and visa versa). I saw someone mention the "cost" of the system. We weighed this against other systems and find the cost differences to be pretty much a wash. Their credit card rate is great, especially compared to the cost of going with one of a few other popular escape room booking systems, I would have had to pay for a gateway, route with a merchant's account, pay a variable and mostly higher rate for credit cards... this is all in one and so easy... and a few less things I need to keep track of. Yes, there is a convenience fee for online booking, we absorb this fee into our prices. And really, it's a booking you may not have had were it not for the booking system. They have many features I'm sure (or would hope) other systems have such as auto booking cutoff times, auto email confirmations and reminders, etc. Actual 24 hr cust svc, not "you can contact them 24 hrs a day, leave a message, but not hear back until the next business day."

Recommendations to other buyers: Give it a try, it doesn't cost anything to try out. They are amazing to work with, you just keep telling them what you want or want changed, and they work it out. Let them do all the scheduling and everything that's not day to day running your business, and they set it up to save you time. I also know that some people absolutely are not good with any kind of computer stuff, so most booking software might be difficult which means this would be especially difficult. I'm not a techy, but I am good on a computer, so keep your skillset in mind.

Pros: It is easy to make and cancel reservations

Cons: It is not customizable and is very rigid in the categories and sub categories it allows

Overall: FareHarbor is a decent online reservation system. It will allow you and your customers to make reservations online, but it does not allow for much flexibility. There is far less customization than is necessary for a business marketing a variety of services and products.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you offer one or two different services over and over it is a good program to use. If you offer a variety of services and products that are constantly changing it is not a good program to use.

Overall: I had tried 2 other Reservation platforms for my new business. I had to be careful of bookings as I am a small boutique Tour. Fareharbour is user friendly, they offered multiple training sessions however I did not need them to perform the basics. The system hit the ground running with no problems. I was manually juggling reservations, calls ( 60 per day at times..) many of the calls were that their online reservation was too difficult to perform. Many of my guests are retired so it is user friendly on the consumer end as well. Love it!!

Overall: We are a small business on the Big Island of Hawaii and started using Fareharbor earlier this year. It was recommended to us by several other local businesses, and we couldn't be happier with what it's done for us!! It is so easy to learn the system, and anytime you have a question or need help the staff are there for you. They respond right away, are super friendly and helpful, and do everything they can to make sure you feel comfortable. I am able to manage all of our reservations, availability/block offs, and do all of our invoicing. And they are starting to integrate with a lot of the activity desks so that they can book directly online as well. It's hard to believe that this program is free!! I love, love, love Fareharbor and would highly recommend them to everyone!!

Pros: The support is unmatched.
Cuts correspondence to customers way down.

Cons: No complaints here.

Overall: We have been using Fareharbor for almost a year now and have tried other companies prior.
Can not say enough good things about all the help that has been given to us. All interactions have been great. It's nice to be able to directly contact the different members of their team while building your platform and when any questions arise. The Fareharbor Team can't be beat.

Pros: It is very easy to use and intuitive.

Cons: The only problem that we are having with the software is the fact that slots will not automatically close off if other bookings are full. For example, we offer three sorts of tours. One for a half hour, a second for an hour, and a third for two hours. If we fill up the two hour tours, then we can not run tours for the hour and half hour slots, but they remain open. What we have been doing is manually closing slots that we don't have the personnel to run.

Overall: I started my dog tour business 4 years ago out of my home with a team of dogs and a couple of sleds. Now, the business has grown and I have over thirty dogs and four sleds, plus I have other mushers who run tours for me. As the business grew, it became more difficult for me to book all of the new tours. That's when I found FareHarbor! Their software is comprehensive and easy to use. Since using their software, it has become much easier to not only book tours online, but to keep in contact with my customers, to charge my customers, and to refund them as well! Another thing to note about FareHarbor is their excellent customer service. I am not the most tech savvy person in the world, but whenever I had a question about the software Mitch, who was my FareHarbor guide and guru, was there. Not only did he help me customize the software so it would benefit my business initially, but I am still in contact with him today to help me with new changes I need to make to the software. Overall, I love FareHarbor. I love how easy it is to use the software itself and you can't beat the amount of dedication and initiative that the staff will provide you. I would definitely recommend this software to other small business owners.

Pros: How easily it connected to our website and that it's free. Also the lower credit card processing right.

Cons: It's still a bit tedious to close out dates when reservations should not be available.

Overall: Great staff and great product that they keep improving! We don't have to pay for this amazing product and it has helped us organize our bookings tremendously!

Overall: I really enjoyed using Fare Harbor. It was easy and intuitive to use for guests and management. Customer service was excellent. I appreciated they were always offering new and better features.

However, the price was simply too much for me to pay as my business expanded. Because I'm growing, it would equate to hiring a full time staff person. I can't justify that, nor have I seen any data that proved Fare Harbor would be able to 'pay for itself', so sadly I had to leave.

Overall: We used FareHarbor to manage all of the ticket bookings and sales for our first annual 25-night Halloween attraction, Hawaii Haunts. FareHarbor created a custom site that met all of our ticket sales/reservation requirements and was extremely easy to use! Not only was the software user friendly, but the best part about FareHarbor was their awesome customer service! Our account manager was extremely responsive whenever we needed a change to made, had questions about the software, or needed trouble shooting. He also provided in-person training for all of our staff. We are very happy with FareHarbor and plan on using them for future events.

Cons: Needs adjustment and changes need to be very carefully explained especially if you have a unique operation

Overall: From the moment the rep offered me a 10 minute online explanation there was never any pressure to sign up. The company focus on the strength of their existing client base and i knew some locally so i called them and they were all happy and very satisfied. The customization of your sales site is first class using your wording and imagery where possible and tge payment service is as quick as anyone else.
But most of all..the 24/7 service is brilliant..
Highly Recommended as service this good doesn't come along very often

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep talking to fareharbor and get them to make changes when you need them

Cons: I have not found something that I don't like.

Overall: We had never used an online reservation system before. We were still stuck in the olden days! It took roughly one week from when we decided to use the system to when we sold our first online ticket. They were and still are extremely helpful with every question I ask! They are always improving their system and adding many useful features.

Comments: We switched from another reservation system to go with Fare Harbor and have been really pleased with the switch! Even though we did it mid-season it was well worth it. The customer support is amazing and are very fast in replying and making things happen. The set-up time was also really quick and made the transition painless.

Comments: We looked any lots of different online booking software options before choosing to go to with FareHarbor and boy, are we ever glad that we did! They helped us get set up every step of the way and we have had a wonderful personal relationship with each member of their staff as we have moved through the process. Their system is simple to use, and they even helped us to set up some individual reports that we wanted. We have our own personal account manager who is wonderful! She answers my questions by email quickly -usually within minutes- and I have her direct phone number and can call anytime. FareHarbor has been wonderful to work with and we are so pleased that we made the choice to go with this service. It's simply the best for online booking!

Comments: I love Fareharbor. Our customers experience in the booking process is amazing. The calendar on the back end is easily navigated and efficient. The customer is second to nobody- they are quick, knowledgable and friendly. The only thing I wish was improved on was the ease of adding discount/promo codes. With my experience with other booking/sign up systems it has never been more than a couple clicks of a button and with Fareharbor it is so many steps. So many steps (and rather confusing steps) that we gave up trying to set them up and no longer give out codes to people.
