Pros: The option to see our full schedule akl at the same time. As opposed to different departments on different screens.

Cons: The only thing i dislike so far is having to log in everytime i want to check my schedule. I would prefer it if my scheduler would stay open as long as im logged on. I go away and then come back after periods of time to check updated schedule,and always have to log back in.

Overall: More accessible schedule for our work day.

Pros: I really like the functionality of the program and ease of you. My staff required none of the training provided by NueMD due to how easy it is to pick up! And whenever we have a question, my trainer is quick to respond with instructions. I like how you can have multiple provider columns and manage your individual view per user.

Cons: The only thing that comes to mind if I really think on it is the "reminder feature". I wish there was a way for the system to automatically send a reminder for a patient's first appt if they are doing multiple therapies.

Overall: Ease of us, less management at the front desk because of reminder features and patient portal.

Our pediatric clinic has become much more efficient. Intake is faster and more accurate than ever

Pros: Ease of use and reporting. Account manager is excellent and on top of things, and knows the priorities.

Cons: The phone app has very limited use - for example can't modify the schedule or capture payment for more than one unit

Overall: efficiency improvement in intake process and provide her access to online schedule .

Pros: The customer support is top-notch. Easy navigation from screen to screen, easy to set up new codes, very easy to use for a new beginner

Cons: Comments on the patient page info example it could use another email section. Also more room for comments when a client has multiple contacts

Pros: How easy it is to use., easy to navigate.. the newsletters are very imformative, I like how the live help can help in most situations.

Cons: I wish there were 2 lines to add emails for clients, alot of times we like to take both parents emails and there is just not enough room

Pros: I love the user friendly function of the system. The billing portion ins great to use. The tickets are easy to get out. I really dont have anything else to add

Cons: The customer service is horrible. I've called and emailed many times with no response. When I first started using Nuemed they were amazing and actually cared about helping a new client. I guess because I'm a small business owner and only have four provider with them, I'm no longer a priority. When my contracts are up I will find another company.

Pros: It is so easy to learn and is user friendly. We were able to start transmitting claims in just a few days, and Medicare which can take up to 30days was approved to transmit in less than 10days. We started receiving ERA payments within 10days of billing out. I have been in the business for 30 years and I have to say that this has been the easiest transition of setting up and billing without any problems whatsoever that I have ever experienced. The training was easy and friendly. I was really impressed with each department specializing in their own field, and the introduction and welcoming was awesome as well as the user friendly Nuebie Notes to refer to if you forgot anything during training.

Cons: I haven't experienced any cons yet, I am very happy with everything so far. I guess I would have to say the only Con that comes to mind is that I wish I had found your business a long time ago.

Overall: Its easy to use therefore I have more time to focus on other office duties than billing. It also keep things organized and tracked more efficiently

Comments: working with NueMD has been for the most part very easy to use. I only have 2 concerns or requests. I would love to see and additional Email line for a second email address on the patient profile, and also an additional line or bigger space for the Memo section. many times we have divorced parents of clients and we like to get additional contact info for each of them and be able to see it on the first section of the patient profile this would help me so so much. thank you

Comments: Way to get ahold of your billing and support team. Program needs Java script to work but other than that it's easy to figure out. If you use them as your EHR it's easier, you can even verify the insurance from the program vs going online or calling.

Overall: Nue MD is easy and effective to use. They are always quick on any support issues, and their system is not hard to use. It is easy to upload into their online filing system, to find patients, and to cross reference patient appointments.

Pros: Easy to Use - Works and MAC and PC

Overall: When i decided to start a billing company 5 years ago i must have Demo'd about 10 different platforms. They ALL did pretty much did the same thing but what stood out about NueMD is that it was a clean ,SIMPLE, and intuitive interface. The learning curve was low and getting staff up to speed on the software takes days instead of weeks. Highly recommend this software!

Pros: It keeps me organized

Cons: I wish it had a window for the previous notes, that I could open at the same time I am charting in real time. (for reference)

Overall: When our office switched to paperless it was with much fear I began using NueMD. After about 2 weeks of use, I can now see the benefit. I can chart much more quickly and have all my notes in one convenient place. This is both a time, space, and money saver.

Pros: Great resources available for the small practice. A lot of automated features that enables a small practice to keep up with the fast paced ever changing health industry.

Comments: I just started using this software as thus far it really is user friendly. And if I can't figure it out the help section is a great tool to reference back to. I have used many softwares over my 23 years in the medical field and this truly has been the easiest to move around in. Love that I can change the color scheme when I have two open and can tell which product I am on without having to read the top line!

Comments: We've had nothing but issues with this system. Every time we call customer support, when they decide to respond, they tell me it's our internet bandwidth so nothing they can do. We're dropping this company as soon as the contract is over.

Pros: The many time-saving features and reporting.

Cons: I would like to see the app updated with more of the web based features.

Overall: Our pediatric therapy clinic implemented NueMD 3 months ago. We were impressed with the personalized support through the implementation phase. Months later we are quite pleased with how standardized and easy the software is to use. NueMD has thought of everything when it comes to software features and user needs. Our therapists are enjoying the cloud based scheduling module and, as the clinic owner, I am more efficient than ever! NueMD has enabled me to focus on the critical few instead of the critical many!

Comments: Overall I have had a great experience with NueMD. The system is easy to learn and understand. I have used other systems in the past for documentation, but prefer the ease of NueMD. I have had an issue with a glitch in the system, but customer service was willing to work with me to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. I would recommend NueMD to anyone who asks.

Pros: It was very easy to learn and use. Very effective product for our multi-location office. Great product support. Claims are processed quickly and rejections are down to almost none!

Cons: There is not much that I do not like!! This really is a great product. No complaints on my end so far and I have been using it for 2 years.

Overall: So far this is the best billing software that I have used. I was using a different software prior to the switch and I love it! Nuemd is so easy to learn and use. It makes claims and billing go so much faster. They really do have it figured out to help out with production. I have recommended this product to several other physician offices. The scheduler is very easy to customize to any practice schedule. Easy to use with multiple locations without confusion! Nuemd was very easy to adjust to. Learning it was so easy and there is such great product support. Nuemd helps make the billing so much more effective and claims are paid a lot quicker with fewer rejected claims. Also, I LOVE that it is web based that way you can access it anywhere with the internet. That makes a big difference with multiple locations.

Recommendations to other buyers: I really think that any office looking for medical billing software with a scheduler to try out Nuemd before any other. You will be very happy with the results. By far the best software company out there.

Pros: data entry for demographics

Cons: the customer support, the EHR encounter building

Overall: We have used this software since 2013. We purchased the EHR portion over a year ago and were REQUIRED to receive the training that came with it - for an additional cost. The trainer was never aware of what was discussed in previous meetings and to date has never completed the requirements to access e-prescribing or e- lab results. Numerous follow ups and we are told the paperwork was never received. Each time it is resubmitted, 15 months later...still nothing...
In addition, the many issues that arise with billing submission are rarely resolved by customer service. They send back a generic suggestion that is apparent they do not even thoroughly read the email. The building of the EHR is so time consuming and confusing (even after the $500) that we have STILL not had the time to complete the encounters.
We are currently shopping for something with good customer service and pre-built encounters. The amount of money we are sending them monthly to not even have use is a waste.

Recommendations to other buyers: Get some customer service and technical support that actually follow through with the customer. I have my own job to do and do not have time to be the one to follow up over and over for a resolution.

Pros: Their support system is always available if you have any questions, whether it be a representative on the phone or online assistance, I have never had an issued contacting them.

Cons: I cannot say we have ever had any issues with this product.

Overall: My office has used NueMD for approxmately 8 years and I can honestly say the transition in to the program from our old software was seamless. It is the best software I have every used and would recommend it to anyone looking to update.

Pros: Love how versatile NueMD is.

Cons: I don't like how the system freezes at times but I know they are working on it. It has improved dramatically .

Overall: NueMD is a great tool for scheduling patients, managing demographics, tracking balances and paid claims on account.

Pros: It is easy for me to do my billing capabilities on.

Cons: The system seems to freeze unexpectedly and requires me to log out to fix it.

Overall: I enjoy using Nuemed. It seems to be a lot better than the previous billing softwares I have used. This system is tailored more to user functionality and allows me to track and schedule my patient reports easily.

Pros: I like that it is cloud based, and that means I can work from the office, from home, or even when I am on vacation or out of town on business

Cons: I think some of the processes could be, or should be, streamlined to allow further ease of use

Overall: My experience has been very good. I have enjoyed learning this system and embarking on billing a new provider from the beginning of inception

Recommendations to other buyers: I am enjoying learning this software, and I love my trainer. She is only an email or phone call away. She listens to my concerns/issues, and explains the resolution in a way that I can understand and retain the information.

Pros: Easy access to entering new CPT, ICD10 and insurance companies while in middle of charge entry. I like that I can validate/scrub all the claims and select what I want to transmit or hold

Cons: Lack of a hot key to go from patient demos to the insurance tab. You have to stop each time and use mouse.

Overall: The software is easy to use especially when entering charges, claim batching and submissions. Also if a patient changes insurance after a claim has been filed its very simple to update insurance and resubmit

Recommendations to other buyers: Create hot keys for every item in ribbon. The less stopping and using the mouse the faster the product will be to use

We signed a contract with NueMD and it was awful since their system was not compatable with our EMR.

Comments: Do not use. The representative lied. We paid $1500 to start up and a year contract but was unable to use their system since they were not compatible with our EMR we were using when they said they were. They also are suing us due to breech of contract even though there system does not work with our EMR.

Comments: Physicians, colleagues: Stay away from this company and EMR. They have customer service wait times that are excessive at best, take weeks to months to "review" things and do not fulfill their part of the contract. There are hidden fees and overcharges and you will be surprised each month.
If it is working the billing works well, but if providers cannot write notes, freezes and restarts, NueMD will continue to bill you despite the program not working. Their customer service is ridiculously slow. I have been waiting a month for resolution and just today found a helpful person, but for such a large entity they do not respond well at all. Hope to update this review with something more positive but for now I cannot endorse....only warn.

Comments: I love the color coding and the ease of use. Usually with just one click of a button you can get where you need or back where you were. I do wish it showed more than just the last patient you worked with, if you have to leave one patient chart to look at another, you can not go back to the previous chart. Sometimes it makes it a little difficult to search by birthdate because the cursor moves on its own, but otherwise pretty user friendly and easy to use

Comments: We switched to NueMD solely for ease of use with PracticeFusion and have been sorry ever since. We use their billing services and have gone through 2 billing companies so far, both of which are disinterested, slow to respond to email and full of excuses as to why claims are not being followed up. We had a FANTASTIC biller when we were with Kareo- will be switching back.
Trying to call customer service is an exercise in futility.
I wish there had been a platform for reviews when we signed up so that we could have been spared what is going to be another huge project in switching billers yet again.

Customer Support

Comments: The ease of use for this product is wonderful. Technical support is good also. But their customer service is unacceptably NOT helpful. You will always be put on hold for way too long and once you actually talk to someone they are not helpful. There seems to be a disconnect between this department and the rest of the company. I guess when you have software this good you do not have to nice or helpful.

Comments: I love the easy navigation and that it is very user friendly. I do not like that it does not keep an account of new clients information in the system if the cancel their appointment and have to reschedule

Comments: I came to the practice and had never used electronic software for scheduling before. It was very very easy to learn and self explanatory in the fields to fill out. Billing manager was something that I was able to learn and even enter tickets. The information fields are easy to move between and for the most part information saves quickly (unless weather is horrific or we are having internet issues)

Comments: Pros: Easy to use, simple, paper trail on conversation between nurses and doctors.
Cons: Delays in system/ Software. Takes forever to load a page or names to send referrals.

Overall great product!!! Love it! Please be patient, I am positive they are doing everything they can to improve their software.

Cons. Takes time to set up to use initally, need to create templates, build list of cpt, and dx codes.

Overall software does what I need. It continues to get better with each update

My only problem has been around the icd-10 switch, combined with our practice not taking insruance. We did not foreseen a work-around being needed. Alas, we figured it out, and we're happier than ever with this product!

Comments: pros-ease of app, many reports, able to block recurring meetings, able to use different color for different appointment types

Cons- a little overwhelming if you don't go through all the training, doesn't have all the reports I need (ie printing out weekly patient appointment report to see who's missing/not scheduled enough/etc.

Comments: I love that this software is user friendly. When I started my new position here I was afraid that it would take me weeks before I would know how to navigate NueMD. I was working on my own my very first day. By my third day I didn't need any assistance from my supervisor.

The system sometimes clocks. Not saying that I don't like the software because all programs have their little glitch.

Comments: Pros: User Friendly, Convenient, Reliable and Affordable.
I love the fact that you can check your schedule on your IPhone/IPad or Android device.
Training a new employee on Nuemd is quick and easy because the software is very user friendly.
Nuemd is consistently available and we have not experienced downtime unless it is scheduled maintenance and even then it is during times you are not usually using your system. Nuemd has a terrific ICD10 crossover making coding so much easier!

Cons: I would like to see enhanced features with custom forms. Nuemd can print custom forms for you but the features are somewhat limited but still useable.

Comments: I really don't any have many cons other than I would like a patient merge option and maybe a better explanation on how to use reports. While easy once you get used to them, they can be a bit complicated until you learn which reports meet your needs

Comments: NueMD has been a great solution for my clinic which is entirely Mac based. We love that you can access the program from anywhere which makes completing documentation, checking the schedule, and running reports a breeze. Wish the scheduling module would allow you to see all clinicians for a week at a time. Great preparation tool for the transition to ICD10!!! The customer service is excellent and always available. Very affordable.

Comments: I have been billing for over 25 years and have worked on several different types of systems. I find that NueMD is a user friendly system with an excellent software support. It's hard to find both. The system has everything you need to run your business efficiently. I love the ability to chat live with a support staff. It's like having an expert/IT staff right in your office. I'm a small billing company now and have no problems getting my providers claims paid. I would recommend NueMD.

Using it for insurance claims submission/payment posting/statements for 6+ months.

Comments: Loved the initial training. Got me started, and was able to help me troubleshoot what I was doing wrong or could be doing better once I had been using it a few weeks. It is very easy to use, and I am able to utilize it to submit claims/post payments/generate statements throughout the day without sacrificing time for patient care. Since I use it throughout the day/week/month, I am able to generate statements/post payments throughout the month, so we have a steady stream of income.

Comments: We love having a cloud based system so as not to compromise our patients' information as well as our own. Claim changes in Medicare or other insurance companies are not a problem because they are always updating the system well in advance so we never have to worry.

Comments: NueMD was very easy to learn and implement into the practice. Using today's technology allowed real time training with a training specialist. To date have only had to contact customer service once and was able to speak to a person immediately. Minor inconvenience is that use Google Chrome and Google Chrome requires some extra steps in order to allow Java to work.

The system is easy to use and billing problems can be addressed quickly which means that the flow of money into the practice is not interrupted. Comments: The customer support is awesome. If you have a problem they can log in to your computer and fix it. This system is very cost efficient. Being in the cloud it is accessible anywhere. I love the way you can change the colors in the scheduler so you know what kind of appointment the patient is coming in for (initial, therapy-ind and family, med management). The features for billing are great. It is very easy to bill to the insurance companies and also the patients.

Comments: I was having issues with java and running the program. When I was told by customer service that tech support was the department to service my issue, tech spoort took over and didn't leave me unattended until the problem was resolved and I even received a call the following day to make sure all was well!!. Nothing is perfect and all programs are going to have issues, give the program time and work with it in the end you will find it's a great product with an outstanding customer service department.

Comments: Biller must be knowledgeable about each insurance company and how they want claims billed. Setting up insurance companies and groups takes some thought process. Claims are easy and once you figure out rejections and how they relate to each company it gets easier. Reports are box reports and offer a lot of information but for us we have very detailed reporting that is needed from billing as well as our EHR and some reports are not possible because the 2 are separate software.

This software is very sufficient product to use because of the tech support does a wonderful job.

Comments: The thing I like most about this program is that it is adaptable and able to be set up to you individual needs. It's online system takes care of all the backup and all we need to do is log in. I can access all my work from anywhere. It is reliable and almost never has down time. It can occasionally be a little slow to respond.

Comments: Pros are the customer service, online support and the shadowing on computers if problem occur and the Nuesoft team needs to view. Cons are the join me that I have to create the email address for them to access. There could be more reports such as denials entered for timely filing. Also, the Certificate to get help that entire process to obtain is too lengthy and most of the questions are not the ssmes as the video or the book. Other than that, this is one of the best software on the market today. Customer service is excellent.

Comments: I had only a few days training with this software before the girl that was training me, left the state for a new job. I had no trouble finding resources and training manuals available to view on the NueMD web. I was able to jump right in and take over the billing with no problems.

Comments: I have used this system for over 10 years, and have had few to none (issues/problems) that haven't been resolved in a timely manner. I am currently billing & sending EDI claims thru Nuesoft, and also I am assisting a practice(Internal Med) with training & using the EHR portion.

Comments: Nue Md is the best program I have ever used in my practice that includes nine psychotherapists. I have been in private practice for over 25 years and as the times change, so have we.
The staff and program at Nue MD have been helpful in every way. They may not be able to accommodate us with all of our needs but they are always responsive to our needs.

The only complaint I have about the program is that each of our schedules are not exclusively private and can be viewed by everyone in the practice. I would prefer they were private and could only be viewed by administrative staff and myself, the Director/Owner.

Comments: When searching for the overall best practice management software, your search should end with NueMD. I have used many practice management programs throughout the years and NueMD is overall the best I have ever used. The way in which the program is laid out makes it incredibly easy to use. Claims go out and come back paid accurately and timely. When claims are denied, NueMd has a feature that allows you to put the claim on hold so that it can get the attention it needs in order to get paid. NueMD is simply the best!

Comments: I am a recent Graduate for Billing and Coding; not sure , what i was getting myself into when I accept a job at medrecovery solutions as a billing and insurance agent. I was not formula with this software NueMD and after my first day on the job with this product, found it to be user friendly and was able to maneuver and learn this software with ease in one day. Its a great tool to have in a billing office and would recommend this software to any new and upcoming office. I like the fact that the information is available to me when i need it and do not have to open a number of different screens to get to the information i need ... Thank you.

Comments: The pros of this product is that it is very user friendly and easy to learn. I like the fact that I can call customer service and almost always get a representative on the phone. They are always very helpful.
Although there are advantages with this product, it also has its disadvantages like it tends to freeze up. It can run very slow at times. If you have a superuser, it sometimes will not let you switch accounts.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
