Pros: Salesforce is simply the leading CRM software and the entire industry. I like the ease-of-use, the constant updates and data at your fingertips. The ability to add contact information and call data is simply exciting.

Cons: The program sometimes gets called up and is very slow. A lot of times data gets deleted accidentally or is missing a crucial information that I know I have saved prior. The report building feature is very archaic and could use some freshening up.

Overall: This offer allows us to keep track of all of our sales prospects in all stages of business from unvented to closed won.

Pros: Robust features/functionality, customization, collaboration aspects, ease of integration with other vendors

Cons: price point in relation to competitors; other players in the space are offering similar products at less cost

Overall: Ability to complete tasks in a fraction of the time (and frustration), especially those involving other team members who may be in disparate work locations.

Pros: I am able to create tasks for call backs, sending information and scheduling meetings- things of that nature. It helps keep our company organized in order to create "cases" to support our customers, and their individual needs, their history, contacts, and overall details.

Cons: It does take a little time to learn the ins and outs of the software, and everything it is capable of. Having training videos easily available would help customers learn faster.

Pros: The reporting feature was really nice and easy to use. This product has many features that interact with each other making it a better management system for sales finance and projects.

Cons: I think like any software, the set up can be long and drawn out trying to make it fit your company needs, so cost can come into play if it is taking to long to set up and not getting much use of it.

Overall: Salesforce is very easy to use and has many different modules to add to make it a better product. The reporting features are really nice and can be ran in many formats as well as using graphs and charts.

Pros: Salesforce is an incredibly robust piece of software. Almost anything you can think of, you can do in Salesforce. It integrates well with almost everything and has a robust set of rules you can set up to accomplish all sorts of different objectives. If you've got a decent developer on hand, the sky is the limit!

Cons: Unfortunately, while Salesforce can do almost anything, if you aren't a developer, doing anything in Salesforce can be a real challenge. Day-to-day functions for end users (sales team, etc) is acceptable, but far more difficult and frustrating then it needs to be. But if you're trying to manage the back end as a lay person (like I was), the learning curve is incredibly steep!

Pros: While I'm still getting used to it, the display is friendlier than what we were using previously. And, the design is much more in alignment than what we had been using, too. We are still implementing all the various features but our Sales Team also uses this to track leads, etc. I feel that once we get everything integrated and implemented, it will be great. (We use Litmos by Callidus Cloud, which has an integration option.)

Cons: I'm still getting familiar and I find that some of the search features don't seem completely intuitive. This could be because my team doesn't use it every day. But, we are getting into it more and more. And, hopefully, once we all understand it more fully - and begin using the full integration - it will make more sense to us.

Overall: We will be using the full integration with our LMS soon and this will make things much easier for my team (which manages our LMS, which is Litmos by Callidus Cloud). We are looking forward to being able to automatically direct our clients to knowledge base articles, etc. that will help them "fix" their own issues!

Pros: Firstly, there is little to no risk when using Salesforce. Due to its low acquiring costs and low-risk management as an organization tool, there is very little to lose and a lot to benefit from.
The database that Salesforce uses is also helpful in digitizing and organizing company sale records. Thus, improving the overall organization of a company.

Salesforce and good customer service comes hand in hand. It allows customization of profiles for individual customers as well as quick, organized access to individual records

There is also no need to purchase software and hardware systems to help maintain and keep the application running. Therefore, unlike most software, Salesforce requires no capital investment.
The integrated solutions allow users to work more efficiently and increase the value of each part of the customer life cycle. Moreover, Saleforce analytics and its reporting function gives its users the ability to expand their campaign capacity. As a result, overall productivity can be increased and profit can be maximized.
Since Salesforce is an application and no software is required, there is no need for constant updates as Salesforce will update automatically.

Cons: At times, there can be too much customization and the interface can be filled with cumbersome and tedious tools which can be seen as repetitive or distracting.
Some users face difficulties in the transition between transactions. Some have to go through multiple screens to process transactions.
Salesforce has its own maintenance schedule since runs on its own cloud server. As a result, there are times that the application will not be accessible.
Users can also lose a personal touch as in the process of automation
Salesforce contains barriers to adoption. This means that even though Salesforce is cheap, the cost to integrate the application and redesigning their IT to incorporate it into a company is not the same as the cost of acquiring Salesforce. It is possible that the cost of integrating it can exceed the costs of the software itself.

Overall: Firstly, there is little to no risk when using Salesforce. Due to its low acquiring costs and low-risk management as an organization tool, there is very little to lose and a lot to benefit from.
The database that Salesforce uses is also helpful in digitizing and organizing company sale records. Thus, improving the overall organization of a company.

Pros: I like the interface and the "usability" factor. I find that it is laid out in such a way that when I am trying to do something that I'm not quite sure how to do...it is easy to figure it out. The whole system is intuitive and easy to navigate. The time saved annually with just that makes it software I want to be using.

Cons: Not the software, the support. The two times that I needed to reach out to customer service were both unpleasant experiences. There seems to be very little consideration given to the fact that the busy professional does not want software customer service agents eating up a good chunk of their day. The whole process is agonizingly slow.

Overall: Increased productivity, higher efficiency from my team, huge benefits to time management. I do value it as a tool that we find very, very effective.

Pros: We used to rely only on manual hardcopy records/files along with excel sheets that individual sales people maintain for themselves for all CRM activities, and as expected a lot can fall through the cracks unnoticed. Salesforce was not only able to completely change the way we kept track of our customers and business activities, but the visual representation of the data has surprisingly been an outstanding motivational tool for the sales department. We can obtain and share information with everyone in real time, and individuals are no longer confined to their own world and have no idea what's going on beyond their own cubicles. Our sales performance is all the better because of this software.

Cons: Especially with the older folk who have been relying on manual records, teaching and training these people was the biggest challenge. Fortunately the interface is very intuitive and we were able to implement an internal peer training system instead of hiring professionals and spending money on traning.

Pros: Salesforce offers all of the classic functionalities one might expect from a CRM tool, but that is hardly the best part. In my opinion, its biggest strength is in its ability to integrate with a host of different complementary tools such as Hubspot, Tout, Discover.org, and many more. As our sales organization evolves and scales, Salesforce allows new tools and applications to be easily added to the existing workflow.

Cons: The task management function can be improved. Right now it takes quite a bit of manual effort to edit/remove/shift tasks and it is difficult to get an overview of how my week is looking like in terms of the tasks that I have scheduled.

Overall: It solves the problems of any sales professional, particularly those who are in inside sales and need to keep track of a large number of accounts. It makes sure you are following up with those who are owed correspondence and allows you to keep detailed records of each account.

Pros: Connecting all ticket information/communications in a single window. Synchronizing all communications to the associated tickets. Creating a new ticket automatically for each new call to our support email

Cons: The cell phone app does not work fully function as the desktop version.
Some functions can be improved to make it better, for example:
When you upload data to a ticket, and if you clicked "Done", you would actually cancel the upload and will have to start over.
Also, if you edit any ticket and someone else opening the same ticket, you will not be able to save the data even if the other person closed the ticket. Eventually, you will have to make sure the other user closed the ticket and refresh the ticket unsaved and enter the data all over again.

Pros: I particularly like the followup functionalities and the smooth layout interface. It's really simple to use all the tools during my daily work. Great!!

Cons: The price for a mid-small company like mine can be a challenge. Anyway the possibility to earn more with its help is a good balance. I would prefer a slighter better price though!

Overall: many benefits. Overall its a better way to work on sales....

Pros: The sales database was extremely easy to use, follow up and productivity reports were top of the line and it was very beneficial to track sales growth

Cons: Somewhat difficult to get a live rep initially from my experience with it. May have just been our phone systems and administrator

Overall: It was extremely beneficial to track and grow sales for my role.

Pros: Once you know how to use it, it is very powerful and useful. It is flexible and dynamic in terms of the reports you can generate and ways you can keep track of, in my case, donors.

Cons: You have to keep using it, once I stopped for a couple of months, I had to spend time relearning how to use it again. So maybe not totally intuitive.

Overall: The organization I volunteered for is very successful at maintaining it donor base, I know that SalesForce helps them do that.

Once you put in the effort, it will change your daily routine at work. Helps tremendously.

Pros: This software can do anything - and can work with anyone. Once you put in the work and build out the rules and integrate with your other software solutions, you are able to streamline your workload.

Cons: The software is pretty expensive but is worth it if you're able to manage. In order to have good support, I would recommend paying for Premier Support.

Pros: It has wide variety of features and multiple platforms. The best part about the software(servicenow) is its GUI. It takes a while to understand but now I know it has all features in it.

Cons: It looks like it has all the features in it but difficult to understand how it works. I use the servicenow by salesforce as a ticketing tool and it took me time to get a grip on it.

Pros: My company uses Salesforce extensively for CRM. We use it to track customer requests, problems and other types of cases. I like the fact that the software is accessible from anywhere for our salesforce.

Cons: The web interface for managing salesforce has always been a bit cumbersome at best. It definitely has a pretty steep learning curve. I wish this could be simplified more.

Pros: It is very easy to navigate through Salesforce. The process implemented through Salesforce has organized our job and made it way easier. Salesforce is an ecosystem solution to your company's marketing, sales and support efforts. There is opportunity to configure and customize as much as you needed to make it work for your specific business model. It is friendly to use and easy to learn with just a couple of days of training.

Cons: I like that i am able to set up follow up tasks, and the program tracks if and when a client has opened an email, and how many times they have. It really gives me a lot of background information on the client before reaching out.

Overall: We can easily connect with other integration tools and easy to use. We can create repeatable tasks easily.

Pros: It is flexible, mobile, and fully customizable. This means that Salesforce integrates with the exact needs a business may have instead of forcing the business to adapt to the CRM product.
It¿s also easy to learn, which often saves training costs for a business because incoming users are already familiar with the system or may have used Salesforce in the past. This reduction in cost can help to offset the increase costs of using this CRM.

Cons: Every business that signs on with Salesforce is going to have their information accessible through the Cloud, but it is a single tenant system. That means the same mainframe is used for all clients. This means that forced updates occur when using this CRM because all clients are receiving the update simultaneously.

Overall: It is flexible, mobile, and fully customizable. This means that Salesforce integrates with the exact needs a business may have instead of forcing the business to adapt to the CRM product.

Pros: After using multiple CRM's I found this to have the most ease and customization for reporting from prospecting to next steps all the way to close. Very intuitive GUI and VERY easy to customize fields tailored to my industry, process.

Cons: I found that it is easier to use on a tablet or laptop instead of a phone. I think it would need to have some sort of "plug in" to the app in order to log calls or emails from the mobile device as well as being able to add a quick note about the conversation. Still found myself having to jot things down and putting them in once I got back to the office.

Overall: I was able to get rid of "hard files" on clients and input all of them into one repository so that I would have to look for "that piece of paper" that I may have written something important on.

Pros: Salesforce is at the cutting edge of technology, and with 3 releases a year the software is not up keep up to date, but continually improves. With their new Artificial Intelligence software added to the platform and Lightning Experience, this platform just gets better with age. The tool is completely customisable and you can easily add free/paid software in the cloud at their AppExchange, adding additional functionality for your business in minutes

Cons: When they have moved from their Classic User Interface to Lightning Experience, not all functionality has been available, and normally with no workarounds, apart from using the old UI

Pros: Salesforce is very versatile. If you know how to use the software very well, and are a developer, you can get pretty much anything you need done.
The software is also very widely used, so being a Certified Salesforce Admin is a boost to your resume and can help you get a job at another company.
In addition, the company does a great job of reaching out and helping you when needed provided you have Premier Support, which does cost more.

Cons: This piece of software is very complicated to use. Our company had to pay quite a bit of money to send myself and a colleague to Salesforce training. So, basically Salesforce has made such a complicated product, and made it so popular, that people pay them to be trained on how to use it. This is an amazing Marketing and business model, although it makes it really hard to be successful using Salesforce if you haven't been to a formal training.

In addition, I am Salesforce Certified and still have a hard time using the software to get everything done I need to in the system. I feel like I need to go to a Salesforce training once or twice a year.

Pros: Salesforce enabled our organization to book and keep track of thousands of retreats, camping groups, and individual reservations. We were able to customize the software to process customer payments, create very detailed notes, and create task lists for each retreat.

Cons: It became very difficult to create reliable reports for the actual accounting and designation of income in Salesforce. That said, this is a result of us trying to use it for something it was not necessarily built for. So, use it for sales, it is great but be careful not to go "too deep" and try to get/create functionality that is not in line with the primary purpose of the software.
