Pros: If you are a small company or a start up then you must try out this amazing tool. It gives you great insights and lets you reach the targeted audience with so much less work.

Cons: There is learning curve associated with this. That's why I recommend this tool for small companies since for large companies it might be tough to train large number of employees.

Pros: The software is intuitive and not a big learning curve. The support team is very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Cons: the segmented nurture drip track functionality is not very sophisticated, not easy to segment based on behavior. The account based marketing functionality doesn't exist yet within the software.

Pros: I enjoy the ability to create forms, workflows, nurturing campaigns, and track customer activity through webpages.

Forms are easy to adjust on the fly without changing coding on the website.

Adding prospects to nurturing workflows is easy as well.

Cons: On the sales side, I use it based on what marketing creates. Haven't found issues with it yet. Just like any new software, there is a small learning curve.

Overall: Ability to track and study prospect behavior. Obtain qualified leads and convert more leads into opportunities for our sales team.

Pros: Automated and easy to integrate. Email template options, communication log, email follow up process

Cons: Advertising and clutter of homepage login. Navigation bar seems disjointed. Price jump from free to paid is steep.

Pros: HubSpot offers a lot of support, education, and features. The suite of tools makes it possible to create sales funnels and automate various marketing tasks.

Cons: The biggest drawback to HubSpot is the price. With open source alternatives, like Mautic, available on the market - it's hard to justify the cost of HubSpot.

Overall: This software was already in use when I began working with a client.

Pros: It allows you to do what you need to do with a marketing automation software. Fairly easy to use and pretty intuitive if you are an experienced marketing automation user. HTML features are more robust than they used to be and I like the fact that you can manage your entire account from marketing & sales to accounting & billing online.

Cons: I hate that if you use it as a marketing platform you get charged for every contact in the CRM. There is no way to separate the two platforms, therefore there is no "master." Not being able to get a dedicated support person to help you with issues is troublesome as well unless you pay for it, and it's not cheap. I constantly feel like I am being nickeled and dimed to death.

Overall: it does what you need as far as marketing automation

Pros: Good software, reliable, seems to be accurate in a time respect. They have a pretty good dashboard showing tracking (at least for the free version).

Cons: Only one would be it's only free for a limited amount, but that's not a real complaint, as I should just be paying for full service :)

Overall: I'm able to get a better sense of interest while I'm prospecting. For a salesperson, this is essential.

Wonderful experience from project start to finish.

Pros: Ease of use, accesability and assurance that the program will work as expected no matter what it is you need to do.

Cons: A little hard to learn, but once you get into it you realize everything is for a reason and makes it even more invaluable.

Pros: It's great to have everything in one place. Professionally done. Lot's of content, both written and in video form to help during set up and learning.

Cons: The cost is very high and for a small company, it's not a good fit. The ROI (economies of scale) is incredibly low if you don't have a full-time marketing person or department to use all of the features available.

Overall: I learned quite a bit about marketing to drive SEO and engagement using the correct content. I just needed to find a more affordable way to do get that done.

Pros: I like the full Gmail integration, and the fact that it allows me to properly share the right information right from my inbox with other people on sales

Cons: There are a lot of paywalls. It's also a little complex to navigate, and I would like to see a little more navigation and help text integrated into the UI elements.

Pros: I liked the ease of use, the ability to see all of my marketing channels in one place and create a consistent campaign with the help of multiple team members.

Cons: There are some limitations and I found for some of the tools, it was better to use on the native channel itself, which had more features.

Overall: Saving money on all the tools it brings together, i.e. social media, email, lead tracking. It made it easier to have all of our marketing tools in one place rather than several different sites with different log ins. It was easy to use and customize.

Pros: I love how everything is right there in one system! The efficiency levels increase so much by being able to access everything you need without having to jump from system to system.

Cons: The pricing is a bit too high for individuals who are starting their own business. I believe there definitely is a lot of value and for a business that is established, the prices are amazing. I would suggest having an additional option for businesses that are less than a year old. i really believe this system could jumpstart a lot of the issues new businesses come into contact with.

Overall: The features in this software are actually the same things that I do every day for the company I work for. While I'm not sure if they would be interested in utilizing this software, I have definitely heard of it at work.
The benefits on my end would be more aligned with my boyfriend and his business partner. Both of which do not have the time to take on these tasks but would LOVE a system that can do it for them. I will be talking to my boyfriend about it tonight as I believe this can help not only his business but the two or three additional businesses that his partner owns!

Pros: It was very efficient at always capturing the prospect's contact info from the fields provided. It gave great alerts to new leads and integrates into almost any sales/business model.

Cons: People could get around the software and put in Zeros or just a letter to have it accept it. It was frustrating at times sifting through fake leads

Pros: Powerful, feature-rich system that scales as you grow. Combines with social media, CRM, and sales functionality to give you deep reach into other lines of business. Easy as pie to create lists and workflows.

Cons: Can only build workflow steps based on yes or no propositions. Among the more expensive tools on the market. Doesn't offer the richest search marketing functionality.

Overall: If you're a startup or a growing small business, then HubSpot has designed its business with you in mind. The tool will scale with the smallest micro business to the largest enterprise, without disrupting your operations.

Pros: Once mastered the software can measure everything from CTA, Sales, Blogs all your inbound marketing needs it is exceptional and fairly intuitive to learn. I was blown away with how powerful a tool it is.
Creating templates for CTA and customizing is easy. I like being able to quickly create and clone a template to use for multiple purposes.
The support members are the most knowledgeable. They will step you through your issue, and make recommendations to what else to further learn.
I am impressed at how the support team wants you to learn and leverage all the features of the Hubspot software.

Cons: There is a lot to learn.
I am fairly skilled in tech and take to learning new software, but there is just so much. I had to call in many times to get assistance. They have a comprehensive online university as well. But it is not the same as implementing a work project.
It takes time, but practice and using support and the online tools will help mastery.

Overall: Our entire inbound marketing efforts and so much more.

Pros: The workflows. Allows us to upload a list and send out a campaign with loads of specification. We like the fact that it can simultaniously upadate CRM.

Cons: Some of the technology available with other programs allows for a much more smooth intergration between marketing and sales campaigns.

Pros: The CRM was incredible, after having tested out a couple others (Nimble and Pipedrive), I was really impressed with how it integrated with our email, allowed for flexible email sequences and had the ability to manually enter actions.
The marketing piece has been great over the last few weeks of integrating it. We're already very impressed with how it integrates with the site. More on this to come, but already our marketing person has been raving about all the capabilities.

Cons: Some of the features need to be tested out a little bit more before being set into the wild. The message function, while still barely out of beta, hasn't worked very well at all. It's supposed to be used on the marketing site, to chat with prospects coming on for the first time, however, the settings don't allow for scheduling. When you click offline and hit the refresh button, it puts you back online, so hard to tell if we've shut if off properly.
Outside of that, no big complaints really. But like I mentioned, still getting accustomed to a lot of features.

Overall: It's freed up a lot of our workflows that we were doing manually. The CRM has been extremely helpful, as with our other CRM's prior, we were needing to setup Google Docs and what not to cover everything we needed to track. Hubspot has been able to take it all over.

Pros: Its free for the basic set up. Its intuitive and so easy to use. It takes seconds to add a new company or contacts.

Overall: People now use the CRM system in my team without being nagged because it is so easy.

Pros: The platform is easy to use. Given the complexity of marketing automation software, they have done a great job anyone with little or no coding experience can easily run it. And of course 7 day free trial help understanding it.

Cons: Requires a 12-month contract, No A/B testing and Technical support is paid. Who does that?

Pros: I can generally get done whatever it is I need to do in HubSpot. I'm not a web developer, therefore the tools offered by HubSpot really help me out a lot.

Cons: Editing a single page may require going to a few different places in the application, as well as several edits.

Overall: The company I work for had no landing pages, we had no calls to action. We essentially just had a bunch of pages of text that weren't driving any business. Since starting with HubSpot we have been able to get more targeted marketing to the clients we want to reach. We can tell who is hitting our website on a daily basis.

Cons: Email and landing page design platform is hard to use and can be temperamental. It would be nice to see a calendar view of the social media posts going out.

Overall: At the marketing agency we use it for all of our outbound and inbound marketing activities. It is great to have everything all together so that everyone working on campaigns is on the right track.

Pros: Ease of use and customer service. Product is very intuitive with great user interface. Definitely worth discussing and recommending to fellow colleagues.

Cons: Price and the depth of features. Need features related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) related tools. Need more google adwords hooks and social networking platforms.

Pros: Writing blog post content and setting up email workflows is a breeze. Social media publishing is also very simple and I love that they assign campaign names to each social post.

Cons: Creating and designing landing pages is extremely painful. There's also a lot of limitations when it comes to your ability to segment and build customized triggers based on a user's behavior. Also, difficult to fully use with contact limitations that are very expensive.

Overall: Seamlessly publish blog posts and post to social media. Very simple to setup email workflows and design email templates as well.

Pros: Able to see and connect with the new clients that I am getting. It allowed me to see the activity for both phone calls, email and my websites.

Cons: Difficult to set up and use. It was too much for the 2 man team that handles both sales and marketing. The cost was prohibitive for us. I found a crm that was specific for my industry - screen printing that was more effective and cheaper in cost.

Pros: Lots of tools to play with. I particularly like the split between the menu 'sales' and 'marketing' and the way they are linked eachother like it should be.
I found it useful and I plan to extend the usage to my collegues..

Pros: I enjoy how easy Hubspot is to use. It was a great solution for us as a very green marketing team. Hubspot walks you through every step of building an email campaign, landing page, etc. and there are templates for them so it doesn't require any coding.

Cons: The design editor doesn't always work and editing anything can become a lengthly, frustrating process. Customer support could also be better. It's quite difficult to get a question answered promptly.

I have always been able to achieve with my website what it is I wanted to do.

Pros: Forms - Allows to build user profile instead of scaring users away with one massive form.
Landing Page Builder - Simple and straight forward, select template, put in assets - Voila!
Custom Field Creation for Contacts - Allows us to create custom fields for contacts AND use the custom fields for decision making in workflow

Cons: I haven't come across a use case for myself where I HATE the software. Although, I would have liked some more features around social tracking.

As a Marketing Professional I used Hubspot for my maketing intelligence needs, and it was amazing.

Pros: The ease of use, interactive nature of the software is something that I loved about using Hubspot. Earlier it was hard for me to gather data into one place but now my marketing data and insights can all be handled at one place.

Cons: I probably dont have much to like the least about Hubspot, but I would love to see them expand their horizon include email marketing as well.

Pros: 1) EXTREMELY easy to integrate the forms with essentially any type of website. The form embed feature allowed me to literally copy and paste a few lines of code to integrate the entire form into the website thats connected hubspots system.
2) The CRM system gives our sales/marketing teams an incredible communication tool that keeps everyone on the same page as to where the leads are in the buyers journey.
3) Freakishly responsive support. If I have any questions regarding the features of this software or regarding integration into other apps, my questions are answered almost immediately.

Cons: The pricing. While this program is WELL worth the price, I still wish there was a way to pay per use instead of the monthly retainer. With that said, a month for a package capable of handling essentially 100 contacts at once, is a great price. Not to mention again the FREE crm system

Overall: TIME! Hubspot has saved our team hundreds if not thousands of hours through the automation tools included.

Pros: Hubspot Academy is incredible - great resources for learning how to use the system and tips on strategy. The implementation team was very proactive and always quick to respond. I just wish we could have used them longer. The interface is easy to understand and navigate. So far the system has met our expectations and proven to be a good choice (we considered/demoed many different marketing automation software!).

Cons: It will be awhile before we are really using the system to full capacity. If you are adopting Hubspot with 7 years of existing CRM and marketing data, it is a long, phased process. Marketing automation is only as strong as your CRM/sales efforts integration - and if you don't use Salesforce it will take awhile to really sync your CRM with Hubspot. We're still figuring that out, but able to use the landing pages, email and social modules until we can truly have integrated client and prospect data, but it will probably be awhile. I also wish there was a better pricing structure based on activity rather than number of contacts, considering we have a ton of prospects but not all are very active. It is very expensive for a company our size (with multiple products) to import all contacts from the beginning.

Pros: I can control my social, email marketing, automation, landing pages, and so much more all from one spot. They are always coming out with new and innovative tools to add value to the product - - - for instance, their new lead flows is fantastic!

Cons: Designing a template or landing page can sometimes require coding if you want something that's not out of the box. I've been able to work around the restrictions with the little bit of code that I do know, and their customer support team is fantastic to fill in the gaps. Also, we just renewed our contract and I wanted to take away part of our service and replace it with another one of their products - our needs have changed since last year. Because we received a "package deal" I had to renegotiate the terms. They were very nice about it but something to ask about when you are signing up.

Overall: Marketing automation, landing pages creator, emails, CTA creator, blog manager, and so much more!

Pros: The LeadIn pop up form is very useful, and helped us grow our newsletter very effectively. The Sidekick tool also gave us a good idea of activity within our emails and website. Getting started can be a little tricky, but HubSpot has a comprehensive library of Academy materials and a helpful Support team to help you along.

Cons: HubSpot often makes changes (often for the better), so at times features were tweaked or removed without prior notice. The software also takes some time to understand and get used to, but Academy materials and the support team help a lot.

Pros: The best part of this product is that it brings all of your digital marketing efforts together in one place. You can blog, create landing pages, send emails, post to social and track your efforts from the same platform.

Cons: There are a few glitches when designing landing pages/blogs/emails on the front end. The front end design editor doesn't always work as easily as you'd think. I'm sure it's an easy fix for somebody who writes code on the back end.

There are also A LOT of features in this product, and it can be hard to use it to it's fullest capabilities. We have been implemented for about 7 months now and we are still learning how!

Pros: I like the simplicity of the email notifications and leads. It's sleek and simple, but has mostly everything you could want at a quick glance.

Cons: The unnecessary amount of clicking to get to where you want to be. In its recent update, we saw that email notifications do not display as much information as it used to. Beyond clicking to view more, there a number of other clicks to make before finding the data needed. Also, the font on the email design does not suit the style.

Great experience with the Trials and Free Features. They are a bit PRICEY! But offer excellent EDU!

Pros: Excellent Education, Great Support Staff for things you do not understand and tons of tutorials as well. In the full version, it is awesome, actually far more than what one can do within 30 days. But gives you a good idea of what to focus on and where to get started with other similar programs. I recommend all my List Followers, Members etc. to utilize HubSpot as the best starting point!

Cons: If you can afford Premium Please DO IT! Great EDU on basically any and all subjects. The only real Con is that they are Pricey for Premium membership...do however offer many Free Options. So still worth joining even as only a FREE Member.

Overall: Many! Including "How To Use Social Media". HubSpot and one other Company taught me how to get over 1400 HQ Twitter Followers in less than 30 days! Excellent Education Programs, with Certifications. I would NOT recommend for the Brand new Newbie/Beginner! More for Advanced Marketers but Beginners that are dedicated can most definitely get much from HubSpot. So as I stated before sending everyone there for the Social Media and Inbound Marketing if nothing else.

Pros: There is a lot of good information offered via Hubspot. They are today's modern marketing gurus. Sign up for newsletter.

Cons: The only problem is that when you sign up for ANYTHING you will receive A LOT of emails. I enjoy them but usually they ask you to pay to learn more, which I do not do.

Overall: Blog information is handy.

This software helps to get the word out on social and it brings everything together.

Pros: The information is well positioned on the page, so it's easy to find the most important ones. Besides, the possibility to add information to a profile without leaving it (ex.: to create a new contact, it's possible to do it still on the company's profile) makes the process easy and fast.

Cons: The fact that there are many tools to be used and the lack of an efective tutorial to get to know how everything works.

Pros: I like how easy it is to create a CRM, managing companies and contacts in them, how easy it is to share it with the rest of the staff and the simple and interactive design.

Cons: It would be the fact that duplicates are not always shown when creating a new company, and it can lead to double approaching and other problems.

Pros: I like the ability to schedule posts and link multiple social media sites at once. I find the suggested traffic times very helpful!

Cons: I can't think of anything that I like least about the software, but if I had to choose I would say a more mobile friendly app would be useful.

Pros: The ability to organize tasks in BC by "to-do buckets" is a great option for our business. Each client that we work with has a different scope of work and requires a customizable interface within BC. Most of our client's retainers change throughout the year so not only have BC look different for each client but having the ability to constantly change the individual set up for clients is crucial.

Cons: I would like to have the option to assign tasks to more than one person. Many times, there are aspects of the project that work in parallel. Sometimes BaseCamp causes a bottleneck when there multiple people involved that need to be working on their portions at the same time.

Overall: I can use this software to keep accountability when working on the project with the internal account team and also the client. This software allows my team to effectively reassign the tasks to the next person or back to me to then give to the client in a timely manner. The notifications before the task due dates are crucial in keeping my clients task on schedule.

We have been using Hubspot at work for over five years, and are now Hubspot partners. It's great!

Pros: When I used Hubspot, I was using the functionality for the CRM. I know there can be much more done, but for what I needed it for this was perfect.

Cons: There was so much functionality that I would get lost in the minute details occasionally rather than focusing on how to close the prospect.

Pros: CTAs! I've recently worked with other systems (Pardot) and HubSpot CRUSHES Pardot in this area. The ability to do A/B testing and gather data on CTAs is a fantastic feature that should not be overlooked. That said, I'm also a huge fan of the email / landing page tools (HubL), and the list management area.

Cons: Our biggest issue has always been having consistent data between systems and being able to always generate an ROI on our marketing initiatives. Although the new reporting features are great, we still need to use several different systems to determine Cost per lead / customer, etc. Although it may be possible to do within HubSpot, Salesforce still houses the majority of our data, and is the go-to place for reporting sales figures.

Overall: Insight into how our customers interact with our marketing materials and website is nearly priceless!

Comments: Before Hubspot, I used Percolate. I switched because of Hubspot's reporting abilities, campaign management, and tagging, and paid social media analytics were above and beyond. Beyond functionality, Hubspot's training courses are valuable to anyone in marketing. The courses go beyond regular tutorials, they delve deep into the tenets of inbound marketing and how you can apply them to your specific business. I've never had an issue with Hubspot being down - it is as reliable as they come. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Overall: Right out of the gate, people will say that Hubspot is expensive. And it is. However for the services that it offers, the pricing is structured that separates the individuals that are serious about their business to the people that are just meandering.

Hubspot offers a full turn key web management solution, to include, Website, Sales, Marketing Automation, CRM, and as much reporting as you can handle.

The drawbacks are costs, on-boarding fee, annual contract, time commitment (are you really going to use all of these services?)

Overall if you have the budget and are looking for a one stop shop Hubspot would provide a viable solution.

Take advantage of the free trial and truly get a sense as to how this may help you achieve your sales and marketing initiatives.

Overall: Hubspot is a great tool for tracking and connecting with sales and marketing leads. Hubspot simplifies contact engagements by automating the sales workflow. You can easily create a workflow that engages with new leads automatically allowing you to focus on closing deals instead of spending so much time engaging customers directly. Hubspot tracks all of our website visits and graphs out our progress from the previous month. Overall I've found some things difficult to figure out but support is quick to reply to any tickets submitted and have been very helpful.

Comments: I can generally accomplish whatever it is I set out to do in HubSpot. It may take a bit of work, and I have sometimes had to search online for tips and tricks, or even contact support for assistance.... but in the end I have always been able to achieve with my website what it is I wanted to do. I'm not a web developer, so the tools offered by HubSpot really help me out a lot. The controls can be a bit fiddly. Editing one page may require going to three different places in the application, as well as several clicks and edits. Sometimes caching issues get in the way of seeing updates while I'm modifying my screens.

Overall: When I say small marketing teams, I really mean it. I am a one-person marketing team at my company, and HubSpot allows me to take care of the majority of my digital marketing needs in one place. I'm able to track inbound leads from website visits on the marketing side to sales correspondences on the CRM side. I have a technology background and previous experience with CRMs and CMSs, so I had a great experience onboarding. For someone who doesn't have the background, their onboarding can be a little rushed and incomplete, but there are a TON of resources available to help you with anything you need. If I ever do run into a problem or have a question on how to do something, their support staff is super responsive and friendly; my problem is always resolved. It is expensive, but we more than make up for the cost in inbound sales.

Overall: Hubspot is well known for inbound marketing - lead generation. The platform itself is good, solid and very intuitive. It's easy to create a campaign and to follow with the free CRM. You can see customer engagement thru the campaigns and how a lead campaign performs. The only problem is the price per register. Doesnt make any sense to pay for data that I don't know if I will use or not.

Recommendations to other buyers: it will be good to have some online marketing expert to implement the campaigns. The software without content and intelligence is nothing...

Comments: Hubspot is great, and so is their customer service. The enormous amount of background information is a great resource fore everyone who is getting into content marketing.
We used the Sales and CRM part quite a while and never considered the Marketing part due to its pricing. I state that the CRM is pretty good and intuitive end the sales functions work like a charm although they come with a certain price.

As an agency we work with several customers on a retainer base where the costs of the automated stack are part of the monthly budgets. Compared to our choice SharpSpring the Hubspot CRM is better without a doubt, but as said this comes with a price. So we combine SharpSpring and Pipedrive CRM in our stack (among some other tooling as well).

Overall: I found other software that does similar things for much cheaper. The email tracking is great but it didn't work for the construction industry leads as well as when I worked in real estate. I maybe should have considered not the pro plan for a cheaper price.
