Pros: I like that I can plug in social media posts to multiple channels in seconds. I know that the social channels I use have posts publishing for the entire month.

Cons: I haven't used bulk buffer, I wish that it was better explained on how to upload multiple posts at once into buffer. Wish it was on the same site.

Overall: I can take time to plug in the needed info and trust the software will publish the correct posts at the correct times.

Pros: It si a simple to use option for scheduling posts to social media sites. The free version offers up to 1 of each social account and 10 posts to be scheduled. At this time the free version offers me the value my small business needs.

Cons: It can be frustrating how it interfaces with the various social sites, but this is because of the ways the socials want things done, not due to buffer.

Pros: The ability to monitor and manage social media posts and track activity and traffic in a calendar view is very useful.

Cons: Sometimes posts will appear to double after they have been posted, but this just seems to be a bug in the display rather than actually doubling up a post.

Pros: Easy to use. Simple and plenty of available customization for posts. It helps being able to schedule posts for our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts all at once, all coordinated with the same message

Cons: It can occasionally pull up random photos that are not linked with the story/post we're trying to set up. It's easy to change, as long as you pay attention. Otherwise, you might have some unwanted and somewhat odd photos popping up on your Twitter feed.

Overall: Easy to use, makes structuring a coordinated message through social media much easier.

Pros: Easy to share articles with the Chrome extension and easy to send out tweets.
The Pablo design tool is an amazing feature to have built in and they give a lot of options

Cons: If you don't have the money to upgrade it the functionality almost becomes useless. The design is also not the best and can be a bit confusing.

Overall: Being able to create social designs with Pablo was great!

Pros: The scheduling functionality is great, even though you can do it on the social media websites themselves, it helps to have a visual of what is to com during any given week.

Cons: The software does not allow you to boost your posts from the platform you have to go into the social media website themselves and boost them individually, which kind of defeats the purpose of scheduling in advance....

Overall: Being able to visually plan ahead for the week really helps me make better decisions.

Pros: I love that I can have an online presence even when I'm taking time off. This ensures my audience is happy and informed. I'm profitable every hour of the day!

All aspects of using Buffer are intuitive and simple. I was up and running within 10 minutes of reviewing the software.

Cons: I'm hoping there will be an update for brand partnerships on Facebook. Right now, it's not possible to pre-schedule Facebook posts that have been paid or are linked to a branding partnership.

Overall: It helps build and maintain my online business presence.

Pros: Easy.
Affordable - I'm on the free account.
Well known; lots of resources for it like other 3rd party applications.

Cons: It does not do everything I want it to do, but there are no other social media management tools that do, so you can't hold that against Buffer at this stage.

Overall: It's important to state that I only know the software as a free user. I also use Hootsuite, but my preferred method of social media management is Buffer, although it does not offer everything I am looking for. If I could afford it, my choice of social media management would be MeetEdgar, but my business is not on that kind of scale yet and I can't afford it.

I use Bulk Buffer to upload bulk uploads, but the pain of it is that I have to go back to Buffer and upload images for each status. I don't know how the premium packages work, but on the free account, that is painful.

All in all, I recommend Buffer for the person starting out.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it. Much easier to start and use than other tools and you don't have to study how it works, as you can figure it out pretty fast.

Comments: What we love about Buffer is its simplicity: it just works. Having multiple social posts queued up saves us time and energy - we can batch our social work so we don't get behind and things don't become too cumbersome. What's more - it's new integration with the Que service makes it even more valuable for our company. Now we can let these two giants work behind the scenes for us! I do wish that they would add more features (see: sendible), but I do appreciate their simplicity and attention to detail.

Pros: Very simple to use, easy to navigate, fun to load up social media and watch the content feed out over time with out you doing anything.

Cons: Customer service really lacks. There is NO phone number listed anywhere on the web. This made things difficult when trying to contact the company and discuss my account. One I did get though, Custom service did serve me well and higher than expected. So overall it turned out good, but not having a phone number really made things hard for me when I had an issue that I needed to discuss. Thanks

Overall: very awesome tool for small business social media. Very simple to place content into your social media pipe line and Buffer will drip out content as much as you want it to. You can even schedule for weeks out, depending on your situation. Overall very convenient tool and very effective.

Pros: Easy to use, fulfills an actual need in my content marketing system, very affordable.

Cons: I wish I could put duplicate content in the queue...

Overall: Buffer is awesome. I use it to manage like a dozen social media accounts, both Twitter and Facebook. It's nice because you can have various queues set up for your different accounts, and mark anything that you add to Buffer to go to specific accounts, so you can double dip your content if you want. And then have your content sent out at specific times, with images too. So it lets you "set it and forget it" for at least part of your content marketing.

Another awesome thing about Buffer is the integrations. With IFTTT or Zapier, I can connect Buffer to other programs. For example, if I tag an article in Pocket with "startup", the article is automatically added to my queue for my startup related Twitter. Boom, easy way to keep fresh content going out!

Recommendations to other buyers: The "Awesome Plan" is worth doing and all you really need.

Their "buffering" or queueing functionality ensured that we had content going out at the most optimal times throughout the day, and we could set it and forget it, then track results after.

One thing we wished Buffer had was integration with more social networks, as Instagram was one of our biggest channels, as well as social activity monitoring, so we can respond to customers and comments, and manage our brand.

Recommendations to other buyers: analytics could be more in-depth

Pros: Fast, easy, time saver

Cons: Can't think of any!

Overall: I have tried several competitor services, with many frustrations. I have never had any issues with Buffer. Customer support is always very friendly and responsive when I had any questions. They are constantly improving their services. I love how easy it is to publish things to multiple social media accounts with the push of 1 button. Fantastic!

Comments: Before Buffer, my social media posting would go in spurts. No Facebook page is better than a Facebook page that hasn't been updated in a month. Now with Buffer, I still post in spurts, but thanks to Buffer's scheduling controls, I can get in the zone on Saturday and schedule enough posts to last the whole next week.

Buffer is great!

Pros: Easy to use, able to schedule any day at any time

Overall: I use buffer both professionally and personally. It is the best way to optimize and schedule your posts. I am able to set it and forget it. Out of all the social media scheduling software available, I have found this one to be the most useful. I have never had a post fail or post at an incorrect time. It is user-friendly and simple to learn and use. It is a great value for the money. I am able to get real-time analytics of my posts which help me gauge what is hitting the right nerve with potential leads. I have been able to increase my following and post for my business even when I am not in the office. This allows my organization to stay on top of mind with our customers.

Recommendations to other buyers: The ability to post pictures and use their Pablo software alongside to find free for commercial use photos is a god sent!

Comments: We used Buffer for some time and really really liked it. When we made the decision to stop using, we actually sent them a "sorry we have to break up note". We found a tool that was more useful to use for socializing our content and integrated with other tools that we were using. But wow, was their team responsive and fun to boot.

Pros: You can create set times that you want to schedule something based on the day. Made it easy if we wanted a specific number of posts to go out depending on the day. It also created a smaller link which was great for Twitter.

Overall: We used buffer in the beginning, it was a great tool to schedule out posts, especially Twitter. I liked that you could set the specific date and time.

Recommendations to other buyers: The only reason we changed was Hubspot offered the same service which was all on the same platform as our other content and website.

Pros: It was so easy to use!

Cons: I wish the queue tool worked more like a calendar so I schedule for certain days at whatever time.

Overall: We loved using Buffer! It was so much easier to use than Hootsuite and did everything we needed for a great price. The only reason we left Buffer was because we got a new tool that included a social media publisher.

Pros: Buffer integrates nicely with softwares such as start a fire, feedly and Crate. Which are all softwares i use. This makes it easy for me to share content to my followers. It is easy to use and the freeplan supports 5 social medis networks.

Cons: The image quality loss I experienced when i used Buffer on my fire tablet. Granted Buffer on my android tablet is perfect but I wished it worked just as well as Hootsuite did.

Overall: I¿m a huge fan of Buffer (And Hootsuite), Buffer was the first social media manager I¿ve ever used. It was easy to use and the UI was great. I use the free plan which came with 7 days (I think) to use the Pinterest feature free.

I wish the free plan wasn¿t restricted to 10 posts per profile but I can understand the reason.

There was also an image quality loss when I used buffer on my Kindle fire tablet, but their support was quick to help and while Buffer isn¿t natively functional on Fire, it was god to know that the customer care did all that they could to help.

Buffer analytics is kind of lame, maybe it¿s because I¿m on the free plan but I laughed when I clicked on analytics and the metrics were: Retweets, Likes, Mention, Comments, Shares, Potential¿ Instagram Analytics gives better stats than that

One area where Buffer trumps Hootsuite is that it the free plan supports 5 social media profiles (Once again you can only use Pinterest for 7 days free but meh). I like the fact that I can set up my preferred schedule times and then when I ¿Add to Queue¿ the posts go out at the specified time. It¿s like MavSocial¿s ¿Campaign¿ feature.

I also liked being able to Rebuffer my old posts. It kept my social media profile continually active. I mostly use Buffer connected to getcrate.co to keep my social media profiles active.

Pros: It's very easy to use and post across multiple platforms at a time. I love the visibility and analytics tracking. Allows for me to constantly check my work and the work of those around me.

Cons: If a post goes out and needs to be edited or deleted, you can't do that through Buffer. Google plus does allow for you to delete through Buffer, but not edit.

Overall: I love using Buffer to balance all of my social media posts for 5 platforms. Overall it's been very easy to use and schedule everything. The only downfall is you can't go back through and edit a post once it has been posted through Buffer, you have to go to the actual social media platform, which can be time consuming.

Pros: Free image creation tool.
Easy to use and navigate.
Helps you maximize engagement with special posting times.
Analytics within the tool to help you see how you perform across multiple platforms.

Cons: There's currently no way to monitor mentions and other important social engagements, so you'd need to see that directly in the tool, or use another tool for that.

Overall: Buffer is a great social media automation tool for beginners. I used this tool when I was just starting out in marketing, and it made my life incredibly easy as I was learning the ropes. We still use Buffer for some clients, and it's such an easy tool for them to catch on to.

Cons: Would be great to schedule Instagram posts...

Overall: I'm a Buffer user since many years now, first as free and now with Awesome Plan. Buffer is great, because it's very simple ! Once your social networks configured, you can do everything through your favorite internet browser, with a genuine extension !

The idea of "queue" for each of your social network, the analytics of best times to post, everything in Buffer is made for a great customer experience and facilitate your everyday work !

I definitely prefer Buffer than Hootsuite
