Pros: Easy to use and navigate. The clarity and script is great and eliminates any overstraining of eyes. The different tabs are self explanatory and covers the Q & A needed to operate the system.

Cons: I really don't have a con maybe the fees but they really are not that bad. Sometimes when there is a refund issued the info has been cancelled but not really an issue.

Overall: Keeping track of daily flights and reservations, being able to see immediately if we are going to have a good or bad week.

Pros: The accuracy of the reservations people love how easy it is now. It updates often so we don't have to check all the time.

Cons: I don't like that you can't change the configuration of the manifest when you print it put. It doesn't give you options

Overall: Easy to use

We have been using this online booking system for awhile and it makes things quick and easy!

Pros: How user friendly, quick, and easy it is to use. You can put options to have addons easily provides for guests booking and it is very easy to make a manifest off of the booking site! Also people help you design your pages as well!

Cons: It would be nice if you could edit multiple trips instead of individually. Everything else works amazing.

Overall: People quickly booking trips for the family and friends. Business is growing and we love to see new faces.

Pros: Many people are able to book into the system. I've realized the people that call confused on how to register their vouchers I feel haven't even put in any effort into trying to do it on their own. I think their are a few things you could do to update the system to make things a little easier for the guests. I think the continue with reservation button bigger and bolder because many people don't see it and know to click on it. The system is growing on me and I understand it more now and have an easier time helping people get through to their confirmation. If guests are buying tickets from us they have no problem. The only issue is when they bought groupons or wagjags.

Cons: One problem I have is that people don't understand they have to select the amount of adults their are having. They think since they entered the groupon voucher numbers. If there could be a little direction on top of the screen where they select people that lets people know to select the number of adults their have vouchers for I think people will have less trouble.

Overall: We don't have to manually put everyone into a system because a lot of people can figure it out on their own.

Pros: Very versatile - able to look at accounts from several perspectives as well as being able to track customer information with ease.

Cons: The design is a bit lack luster. I would also absolutely love it it was a full accounting service in which to track expenses as well as revenue. I'm sure that's asking a bit much though!

Overall: Massively better product than our previous reservation system. Far fewer customer complaints as well.

Pros: How easy it is to navigate and correct errors. I love that I can edit so many minor things like special cost per time of day or insert special discounts my way.

Cons: There was one part that wasn't clear why I had to maneuver through the steps a certain way but it wasn't hard since that's the way I was taught.

Overall: I learned more about reservation programs.

Pros: This software makes it so easy to look at how many people are signed up for a tour so I can plan my day knowing if I have to work or not. So much easier than the way we did it in previous years!

Cons: Had a few bugs to work out when we first started where it wouldn't update in a timely manner so we still had to communicate by phone. Works great now.

Pros: I will say a lot of people do understand how to use the system and get their reservation through on their own. I just wish the system was super easy and everyone got in on the first try. But we don't live a perfect world.

Cons: customers get very confused by putting their vouchers in from groupon. They have to call and need to be walked through every step because they can't figure it out on their own. i wish the system was more self explanatory so people wouldnt need to call and ask for help.

Overall: A lot of clients have figured out how to use it and we don't have to bother helping them book their reservation.

Pros: Easy to use. Very easy to find my way around the system. It is great to locate a client at any time.
I like that I can put in a clients name, company name or client number for easy location. I like that we can bring up one vessel at a time, as it makes it easier to check while on the phone.

Cons: I would like the bookings that are tentative, color coded, so it would be easy to tell that it is not a confirmed booking. It would be great to color code, tentative, confirmed and Bus tours , as we have so many. It would help at a glance to see what we really have booked.

Overall: Easy.

Pros: Ease of use. The software is quick and effective. Easy to understand and use. Do not need to install.

Cons: Need to see if the vehicle was down or trip cancelled, then why? the reasoning and average running time for each month for each vehicle and downtime for each unit.

Pros: It has made it easier for our customers to book with us by streamlining the checkout process. The cruises can be easily sorted by day, event type, or customer. Built-in manifest and food choice lists are also a big improvement over our last system.

Cons: It has a nice clean look and layout, but it would be nice if it were more elegant. I realize this is subjective...

Overall: Customers are less frustrated when trying to book a cruise. This is a very big deal...

Pros: Fast, and easy to log on, also has all the information to for the captain to see who is coming on the tour

Cons: Small print, and takes time to log on each time, it would be better if the current date would come to the center of the screen at sign in

In terms of font size, we find that the default is appropriate for most users, but you can bump that up a bit by clicking Ctl+ on your keyboard. It sounds like you're using our Daily Event Schedule and Daily Resource Schedule quite a bit. We are considering adding the option to make those your default start page. We'll keep you posted. Pros: User friendly, it's great that it sends emails to customers. Easy to modify and view tours. I like that it uses 12 hour time instead of 24 hour time.

Cons: I wish the tours could be color coded, i wish it was easier to book multiple tours in one transaction, i wish there was an option to view the available tours one day at a time, instead of a whole week at a time. Due to this, it's easy to accidentally book tours for the wrong week (the next week instead of the current week, or vice versa)

Pros: It is user friendly, and I like that it tracks all movements. I also appreciate the installation of the workstations, that was absolutely necessary for our operation!

Cons: I would like the retail portion to be better so that we could sell tours and gifts in the same program. I would also like to see the entire day on the calendar view, not a whole week at a time.

Pros: our Starboard agent has customized Starboard to basically everything we ask of him in a timely fashion to create the best product for us. It's quick and efficient

Cons: That it goes back to the current date screen each time instead of back to where you were before you licked into something

Overall: More time for other things as booking has become more efficient

Pros: We were completely unaware of what we needed, or even what we wanted, in a software for our new startup business. At Red Boat Water Tours, LLC, when we sit around our corporate offices, we're literally sitting around our kitchen. When I converse with Michael at Starboard, I get the same intimate image of their company and that is comforting.

Overall: I have not yet found any "cons" to our relationship with Starboard. They and their product have " performed as advertised" so far.

Pros: User friendly interface for booking the tickets, and you can organize the tours by item and categories making them easier to locate on busy days.

Cons: The payment options are sometimes confusing, and don't work out correctly at the end of the day - this could be due to it being a new system or the interface.

Pros: The breakdown per booking is great, allows to go into great detail and so that every department sees what they require.

Cons: When clicking on an event you have to click remove from cart to view another event, I wish it was easier than that.

Overall: Organization is fantastic, keeps everyone accountable all in one spot!

Pros: Our business has various locations, including a large variety of shore excursions, tours on both land and water, as well as restaurant operations sold to both public and private groups. Starboard has provided us with an incredible ability to separate these bookings, and provide an extremely in depth method to track sales by locations and customer group.

Starboard has customized our reporting and we have developed reports to allow us to utilize the contract function a great deal as well as implement built in accounts receivable tracking.

Development and engineers working on our project provided quick results and delivered on time.

Pros: It is incredibly intuitive. We are a seasonal operation, and have a large reservations team to train in a short amount of time. Starboard has cut down on training time. I also love the viewing options available - by week, by day, by resource, by event types, etc. The fact that it is cloud based and can be accessed from anywhere. The support team is incredibly responsive to our endless questions/requests.

Cons: So far anything we had issues with, the support team has been able to walk us through solving it or adding something new. Not being able to copy and duplicate a private booking over multiple dates is the only thing left on our wish list.

Overall: Cloud based can be accessed anywhere; week view allows you to see multiple options for a tour you want; combines private and public; easier access and integration with accounting; increased transparency and accountability for bookings both private and public; more modern website; pre- and post marketing opportunities...

Pros: Being able to specify which resource, tour, or location is great. It really helps narrow things down to a more manageable view and moves the process along very quickly.

Cons: I wish it were colour coded. Our company has hundreds of tours a week, and being able to pick a tour out more quickly would be great. I know the specification tools are useful, but even then we've narrowed from 400 tours to 80-100. Having those broken down and a little more visually defined would be amazing. As well, jumping forward to dates can be very tricky. It would be nice to have the option to see one day on the screen alone, or a whole month even. Maybe having a drop down menu with view options?

Pros: The ease and efficiency of booking and creating an invoice. Easy to navigate for searching for bookings. The ability to customize to our needs.

Overall: Efficiency in booking allows me to spend more time on important details and meetings

Pros: I enjoy Starboard's user-friendly features and modern look. It certainly allows the user to book tours with ease.

Cons: My only complaint is that there are not enough short cuts which can lead to a longer booking process.

Pros: This software looks nice and new so it is very aesthetically pleasing. It's a good program for finding out how people have heard about our company.

Cons: I find that this software makes it very difficult at making sure bookings have been cancelled and sometimes booked. The "remove from cart" button is very misleading and allows me to think I'm deleting a booking even when I'm not.

It sounds like this functionality may be a bit different from what you were used to in your old system. Moving between software systems can always be a bit daunting. Most of our users really like the "remove from cart", so I suspect you'll adapt to it in short order, but please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team if you'd like more information about how to use it most effectively.

Pros: being able to access it from the internet instead of an outside app. connects all work stations well

Cons: not being able to sell multiple tours to the same person in the same transaction, which is a major part of my day to day job

Pros: That it saves all the client's information so I have access to it if they book more than one event. Also that I can see events even after they have been cancelled.

Pros: Starboard is very user friendly. Its easy for people to learn even if they aren't great with technology. Navigation through the site along with changing trips and such is uncomplicated and in our busy environment you need that. Whenever we have needed help or to change something it gets done right away there's no hour plus wait on the phone. All in all I would definitely recommend it to any company.

Overall: The main benefit would be people not overbooking the boats which is a great relief . Starboard Suites is very organized and it is easy to find customer information when needed.

Pros: The ease of scheduling events and looking up the events. the ability to schedule is easy even for a beginner and in teaching new employees is just a breeze.

Cons: I would like to be able to jump to a particular date, when searching for something for a customer would be most helpful

It looks a little different now, but we've actually made it even easier to jump to a particular date. Just look for the calendar icon at the top right that says "Jump to". Cons: Still growing so some ideas or visions are out on the horizon still. Not necessarily a con but undetermined.

Overall: We've been very happy with the crew at Starboard Suite they've done creating not one but FOUR control panels for us on a tight schedule. Our rep has always been courteous and helpful while providing quick answers to questions and quick solutions to snags. They're open-ness to develop new ideas and expand with our images was incredible. As a small business themselves I believe they truely care about my small businesses. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Overall: Starboard Suite is new to our company this season and so far, we could not be happier. The customer service is outstanding and very accommodating to our needs as a tour and rental business. Pros: easy to use and navigate

Overall: We run a small seasonal business and we really needed an automated system for our open public lunch and dinner cruises. Where to start? The support staff came to my rescue....I first spoke to them on the phone, and then met them at a conference....they spent time showing me how everything worked. They are always patient, and I really felt a connection....I didn't feel like a number....small business to small business.....they always answer questions and are so helpful. I am hoping for a very long relationship.

Recommendations to other buyers: will let you know when I have been using it for awhile.

Overall: Rep (and I'm betting the entire Starboard Suite team) has been working hard to bring our updated system online before season kicks in. And this has been accomplished with humor, patience and sharing of knowledge to make our ticketing system (and a wee bit more) work for our team. The ticket portion launched late last year and has worked like a charm and, thankfully, has been intuitive to our team to handle calls and questions (a busy January). Recommend this group of folks to help move forward online ticket sales and more.

Comments: Being a seasonal family business, all cylinders needed to be firing effectively when running. After trying multiple online reservation systems we found a great company in Starboard Suite. Customization of boarding manifests and menu selection options were needed for us to operate smoothly. The representative and his staff met every deadline given and most times ahead of schedule. I've heard from past company's; "its in the development queue and will be done in our next edition" yet most times it never materialized. Starboard Suite understands the importance of customizing a system in a timely manner. And since no two business is exactly alike that's critical. They continue to upgrade their system to be cutting edge and I'm amazed at how reasonably priced a custom featured reservation system can be. I tip my Captains hat to the staff there for a job well done.

Pros: The ease of use and the fact our guests are able to book online.

Overall: Customer service is such a great quality to have, and this company has a great team behind it. Whenever we need help with something in the office, our personal rep is always available. Our system is way easier now that we don't have to use a book and can do everything online. Our sales have increased a great ton since we introduced online booking through Starboard Suites. We could not be more happy with the product.

Comments: In my opinion many a good business have a great product but are woefully lacking in customer service. That is not the case with Starboard Suite, not only is their product outstanding their customer service is top notch. Any issues, which were few and questions we had were always addressed immediately and efficiently. No waiting for return calls or lack of knowledge. I would recommend Starboard Suite to anyone looking for a quality company in this service sector.

Pros: The ability to login from home and remotely to view the trip schedule.

Cons: Not being able to view one "one day" at a time. With a huge fleet, the monthly calendar displays too much data on the screen. I would like to have the option to be able to see just one (1) day at a time.

Overall: Coming from a paper system, the Starboard Suite reservation system makes my day as a Captain that much easier. I can log in from home before my day begins and see what trips I have, and how many passengers for each. I can also look at this system remotely from my iPhone throughout the day and see any updates to the passenger count that may have occurred!

Overall a great improvement over the old paper-based system!

Overall: The team at Starboard Suite does a phenomenal job responding to inquiries and making schedule adjustments for us and does so extremely quickly. This is great for us when we want to make pricing changes, add new locations, or offer specials. The software is easy to use and the functionality is great for our customers. We shopped around quite a bit and not only was Starboard Suite an incredible deal, they were also the easiest to communicate with and had by far the best customer service. If you are shopping for a scheduling software to use, look no further. These guys are the best!

We do expect to open this up to individual customers in the coming year. We'll add you to our list and let you when this becomes available. Pros: Very easy to use and you can take you time with each customer. I love how you don't have to think as much, it does all the thinking for you

Cons: We have not had the system very long. We are working on the quirks, but everything is adjusting smoothly.

Pros: How simple and easy it is to use. It's even better that we have someone on call whenever we need them.

Cons: Set up took quite a while, but the end product blew us out of the water so I guess I can't really complain.

Overall: I use Starboard Suites every day in the office for booking our cruises! It's fantastic! It's quick, easy, and the staff is always on call for whenever I need them with any questions I may have! Pros: Easy to use.

Cons: The simplistic interface could be enhanced to work more intuitively on tablet and touch devices.

Overall: We were in need of an online reservation system that was low cost and quick to set up. StarboardSuite filled that need perfectly. The account management team helped us get set up quickly and trained us in the easy to use system in about an hour. Whenever we had a question, they are quick to respond - whether by email or phone.

They're a great team to work with!

Cons: Some of the type face on the calendar could be darker and easier to read (but maybe it's my eyes.)

Overall: I worked in an office, in the pre-computer age, then left to raise my children. I didn't return to office work until last summer, so I was a bit apprehensive about learning a new computer program. However, when I was introduced to Starboard Suites, I was amazed at how easy it was. The few times I needed help, they answered the question immediately, and even made adjustments quicker than I ever imagined. All of my experiences with the Starboard Suite software have been great!

Cons: needs to reflect actual ferry services a bit better. There is no dropdown in this form for Maritime Transportation!

Overall: My wife and I have a small ferry company and our online reservation service crashed. Starboard Suite had a program that works so well that we were up and running in a couple days. Support was instant and constant. They tweaked things specifically for us. Our office manager and my passengers love this system that we use mostly for online reservations.

Recommendations to other buyers: Unless you are a genius- don't try to rewrite what these guys have expertly done!

Comments: From the get go, StarboardSuite gave me confidence that I could depend on this company to help me do business best. Before I even signed up, Mike, the founder gave me a live screen walk through that lasted over an hour explaining the whole product. I run a Whale Watching company where I am the owner/operator. Starboard Suite has enabled me, as a "one man show" to effortlessly manage reservations. I am contacted at least once a month by other reservation companies, but I never even consider calling them back. When you have the best in features, customer service, and innovation, it wouldn't cross my mind to go elsewhere. Mike is beyond 5 starts in customer service, always answering emails within 24 hours, even on weekends. Starboard Suite is a no-brainer, especially for small businesses- their back end features allow me to control every detail and feature of tours at the click of a mouse.

Comments: As a guide using Starboard to pick up clients daily, I found the system intuitive, simple, and accurate. I was required to drive to multiple hotels during a short time period, and would have been unable to do so without the utility of Starboard's manifest. Due to the volume of reservations and variety of activities our company offers I was very concerned when we started to make the switch to online reservations. They have the ability to make the difficult things easy. This makes our business more profitable by freeing up our time to concentrate on selling and servicing our customers. Comments: The last thing we wanted for our web site was "hard to manage" reservation software. Starboard Suites integrates perfectly with any operating system and is simple to operate. With all the latest updates there's nothing our customers can't do when it comes to making their reservations on line.
