Cons: Limitations on customizing the calendar to fit the needs of my operations.
The lack of ability to create any report I want whenever I want.
There is no app so I am limited to using FMX through my browser on my phone or iPad.

Overall: Experience: We selected FMX after reviewing 6-7 other CMMS alternatives. Our decision was based on
1. ease of start up,
2. allowing requestors to submit an email and NOT log into a system,
3. the drop and drag flexibility on the calendar page which makes it simple to move a request to another day,
4. ease of adding a new request, and
5. a program that is simple to customize and move around in.

BUT,
there are a couple of things I'm looking forward to FMX fixing.
First, the ability to customize the work day length on the calendar setting. Currently it is set up with a 24 hour day and I would like to be able to change the day to fit the needs of my operations. As it is it requires a lot of scrolling and makes it impractical for use or planning.
Secondly, when approving or deleting requests there are duplicate buttons to push to complete the transaction. This redundancy is not necessary.

Customer Support has been terrific and I'm confident that the issues I have will be resolved in the near future.

I heartily recommend FMX!

Pros: User friendly and very functional for day to day use.

Cons: some areas could be improved upon but the FMX team is always taking suggestions and making improvements. In fact some of my suggestions have been implemented.

Overall: I am in my second full year of using FMX and I love it. I truly believe it has improved my overall functionality. Its a one stop shop for everything I manage. The biggest indicator that it is working is that staff use the system to report problems and see that work is accomplished. This last year we brought on the facility management piece and again FMX hits it out of the park. Super user friendly and when you do have problems the help desk is fantastic. Thank you!!

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep working to make it better; the end users love the updates.

Pros: Intuitive. Not cumbersome. Customer service has a passionate small business feel.

Cons: None.

Overall: We are a relatively small facility (100k sq ft), and were looking for something that could easily scale as we grow. We needed user-end customization. We needed powerful without heavy. We found all of these things in FMX... with an incredibly friendly and personal sales experience to boot. I don't have a bad thing to say about this CMMS. We are a year into it, and still loving it.

Overall: We were very unhappy with our previous product from another company so we did a lot of research to find a new solution. We wanted something that was easily combustible to our needs and could be used by even our least computer savvy users. FMX has been just that on all counts.

Pros: Online platform

Cons: When I click the link on an email, it always opens a new window. Not a big problem but if fixable would improve the user experience. Smaller calendar icons may de-clutter the calendar screen a little.

Overall: FMX software has upgraded our entire operation. Managing 20 Engineers has become so simple. I can schedule their working days from anywhere and it's freed me up to work in growing the business side. The Engineers are universally happy about the implementation of FMX. They feel more in control of their days, and less like I'm 'telling them what to do' all the time. they are more directly engaged with the client requesting the works, and have more control over repeatedly scheduled tasks.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would like to be able to easily share one-off jobs. If a job from a CEO comes in every now any then, I don't want to add him as a full user, I just want him to get the email acknowledgement directly from FMX which looks impressive for us. So a field in the 'New Maintenance Request' screen which has a 'sent to' button and a one-off email address can be manually inputted would be good.

Pros: Competitive pricing; an up-and-coming company.

Cons: No mobile app.

Overall: I've had great customer support with this company as well as extremely competitive pricing. FMX seems to be responsive to customer feedback and work toward product development. One of my previous concerns was with the absence of google single sign on. They have since developed that part of FMX. The other two features I'm hoping will improve are adding a mobile App so that its easier to interact with on my phone, and making the appearance and theme of it more user-friendly. There have been no issues with the inability of this program to meet my needs. For the price and the customer support, FMX fit our needs well.

Overall: I initially signed up with FMX after 6 years using a competitors product. I noticed right away that FMX was easier to navigate and had a more intuitive program. In addition, the FMX team welcomes feedback to drive change, the program that we initially signed up with did not include a Purchase Order suite of tools. I told the team that this was a must have!! They promised that they would be able to get something going within the first year and worked with us on an initial design. While the PO program is still lacking a few features that I think would be helpful for us, they delivered on schedule and I know that they are working through the changes that will make it even more valuable.
I recommend this program to anyone who expresses any kind of a need for a product of this type.

Recommendations to other buyers: New customers need to be as complete in their requests and structure as possible when dealing with the FMX team, they will make the effort to design it to your exact specifications.

Pros: Being able to assign the work orders to specific people on the facility teams.

Cons: Not being able to delete one reservation out of a series of reservations.

Overall: We love using FMX. It's been a HUGE help to our organization for work orders and room reservations. It's so user friendly, and everyone's requests can be so specific thanks to all the options available. So glad we switched to FMX!!

Comments: Our organization has been amazed with what FMX has done for our school and church, not to mention my sanity! The software is super easy to use, even many of my "non-computer" faculty and staff have been impressed with how easy the system is to use. The maintenance and scheduling, all previously done on paper, is now easily able to be seen and managed by everyone in our organization. This program has amazingly streamlined our maintenance requests and scheduling. The reports have helped me show the abundance of daily tasks and events that take place on campus. This along with an ability to easily track and maintain costs for projects and repairs has been a true benefit to our organization. FMX has also impressed me with their constant and continuing upgrades. We are excited to try out the new purchase order module they have recently added to the software. Lastly, rep along with all other customer service representatives have been unbelievably helpful. We highly recommend FMX !

Comments: Our experience with the FMX system has been outstanding! The customer support has been tremendous (Thank You), and the system has exceeded our expectations! Our focus has been on the Work Order management and Event Scheduling modules, and both functions are easy to use and manage. We have been very happy with our choice of FMX!

Cons: The built in reporting system is cumbersome.

Overall: FMX has helped streamline our maintenance request system. It is nice to have such an amazing tool at our disposal. One of the best features, in my opinion, is the ease of tracking a request from initial input through completion. The only thing that I feel could be a little more user-friendly is the reporting systems. There are a variety of reports available and I understand that reports can be customized. However, the standard reports are a little cumbersome.

Pros: Easy to stay on top of projects. Great trending reports.

Cons: Access to information or ability to edit from opening the Maintenance Request up from the calendar

Overall: The upgrades have been making it easier and easier to use. I would like to see the same updates/upgrades to both the Maintenance Requests and the Planned Maintenance. Specifically I'd like to be able to edit who its assigned to by clicking on the request from the calendar. Currently you have to remember the number and look it up under Maintenance Request. Also since making it available to set times on work orders when you move the request forward it stays RED which for me means its behind.

Recommendations to other buyers: Simple and easy and the upgrades a little bit at a time are nice vs one big change of several upgrades to learn all at once.

Pros: how easy it is to use, the customer service, and the continuous updates

Cons: only thing I wish could be done - to be able to sort in my reports by dates.......i need to generate monthly reports, and sometimes my input goes into the next month, and it is hard to run those reports, and get exact info......I know it is something that is in process, just wish it were available now :)

Overall: FMX has been a great program for use in our Facilities/Maintenance Department. It is very user friendly, and the customer support has been great at helping to customize the overall functionality for our organization. They are continuously updating and making improvements. For the cost, and the support alone, it has been a great product, and I enjoy using it on a day to day basis.

Pros: Customer support is beyond expectation. Morgan Murray was so responsive, we had some changes made within minutes of our request.

Cons: No cons at all

Overall: We needed a Facility Maintenance software that was easy to use. We are Fire Department with 4 shifts, 11 fire stations and many office/warehouse satellites. The need to track our preventative maintenance, work orders, and equipment repair and replacement drove us to search for a facility maintenance software. FMX provided amazing customer support (Morgan Murray) to get us up and running. The cost of the software was a deciding factor as well, and with FMX we are getting the most for our money. Our fire fighters have found FMX incredibly easy to use, and are submitting timely requests for service, rather than waiting for a specific Captain to return to work.

Recommendations to other buyers: This software is easy to use on the requester side, and comprehensive on the Facility Manager side. The cost effectiveness was a deciding factor for us, and money well spent!

Pros: Icovers everything we were looking for and more. Layout is very self intuitive for those used to utilizing software designed for the layperson

Cons: have to contact customer service frequently for help on things we should be able to do ourselves

Overall: this is by no means turnkey. we have had to make quite a few adjustments to get it to do what we were told prior to purchasing. 90 percent of promises have been kept

Pros: The integration of events calendar with facilities maintenance team activities. The members of our staff can all login and view every event, get assigned task, review procedures, complete procedures, be updated immediately. Web enabled. Easy to navigate. Can add new fields. Administration of users and rights. Mobile friendly. Filters. Search Engine. Color coding by type or status. Auto e-mail alerts.

Cons: Key request module more like and inventory module - not designed to track history of person holding key the way I perform this task, since I cut keys in-house and track the return and possible reissue of a key including key fobs.
Vehicle request module works for our process but designed more for buses at school and not for vans at a church. Location of added fields on the screen form, not able to remove a field from view that might not be used.

Overall: This FMX solution was an incredible improvement to the old way of doing things. The functions / modules also aligned to my business process better than any other calendar and CMMS reviewed. I had the ability to add fields, create workflow steps, and ensure efficiency without making the process too complex for non-technical staff. FMX assisted me in implementation and data migration from existing system and was able to use several of my recommendations for future improvements. The ability to export or embed the calendar in other sites and tools overcame the final custom printing hurdle. Has been a great tool and transition from our past way of doing business. I have recommended this product to any who ask for a CMMS or Calendar solution.

Recommendations to other buyers: select your URL name well when you start out. the better you train, integrate the process, import /migrate data or set-up... the more success you will have getting teammates to use it.

Cons: It is sometimes confusing on the administration side to find needed information.

Overall: The software has worked well so far. The staff seemed to pick up on it quickly and it has met our needs. We haven't taken the next step of integrating the software with our bldg HVAC. I'm not sure if we will do that or not. The support has been the best I have experienced. Any questions are answered very quickly with genuine concern that our expectations are being met. I give that area incredibly high marks.

Overall: FMX is an excellent option if you are looking to take your facility maintenance protocols from pen and paper or homemade digital formats to a legitimately organized software solution. But even more important is the Support FMX offers. They have literally made system-wide design changes based on suggestions I have made and I am sure I am not the only customer that can say that. They are more committed to the development of their product as it pertains to meeting the customer's needs than any software company I have ever worked with. If you have decided to move in this direction and that FMX meets your technical need I encourage you to stop looking and sign up now.

Comments: The software continues to be easy to implement with our church staff. We have utilized the maintenance requests portion only at this point. Our maintenance supervisor is able to stay on top of multiple work orders better. Only our staff can put in requests and they like FMX's feature of notifying them when the request is received and when it is finished. This eliminates the requester from continually asking the maintenance supervisor for an update on their work order. We plan to start using the inventory feature later this year now that the maintenance process is up and running well. I have been satisfied with this product and would recommend it to churches who need to improve their facilities management process.

Comments: This system is easy to use if you have never had a PM program prior. Loading the various modules is logical and straightforward with plenty of room for growth. But the best feature is the customer/tech support after the purchase. I can ask any question or request any modification and I get a quick and effective response. Pros: The color coding of the calendar really helps me stay on top of things. The ability to look things up by event id and the ease of changing events is something I use almost every day. I created a simple one-page tutorial that I send out to all new members and I rarely get a call asking for help on how to use the system.

Cons: I'm not sure what could be improved, but I feel like the billing could use some help. It seems more labor intensive to me than what it should...I feel like I do things twice as I create the bill externally through excel and then translate the billing info into FMX. Similar with accepting payments...I track the payment externally and then transfer payments into FMX. I would also like the ability to email a community member directly from FMX and those communications be trackable via FMX.

Overall: I manage facilities use/rental/internal scheduling for the 12 buildings in our public school district. Without FMX this would be a much more difficult task. I love that I can have a visual calendar of the entire district and "dummy it down" to just the exact information that I am looking for by using the filters. Being able to reference an event by a specific event number is essential and the online payment tracking is helpful as well, though it does have some limitations. My community members and staff members have found the system very user-friendly and I'm happy to report that even the most stubborn of the group have embraced the scheduling system. Color coding of the calendar view makes it easy to determine what needs your attention ASAP and I have found working on the system on a mobile device easy to take care of things on the run. Overall I give FMX 5 stars for ease of use by all users and I find the features and functionality spot on most of the time. Whenever I do have a support concern I always get a very speedy response. Thank you FMX for helping me stay organized with this very daunting task of mine. I don't know how I would do it without you.

Pros: Easy to use, even for those that are not computer literate

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything

Overall: We have been using FMX for just over a year and could never be happier with its performance. The customer service is great, we had specialized programming that has reduced my work time from 3 days to perform this part of my job down to 3-5 hours. Thank you FMX.

Recommendations to other buyers: FMX has been very helpful in training and programming for our department, I would and have recommended FMX to many others that are looking to do something similar to us.

Pros: Add modules as needed and per needs of user, edit modules and request forms easily, excellent customer support and training

Cons: I would really love recurring dates for Transportation requests, Transportation Module does not seem as up to date as other modules

Overall: We have been very satisfied with this product, which we have used almost a year now. It is easy to use, high quality, and has great customer support to help with any questions we do have. We love the ease to add modules suited to our needs. FMX also continues to update their product regularly and make improvements. We have used a couple similar products which do not compare with FMX. We're excited to continue using FMX and see how they continue to adapt their product.

Overall: The calendar format is easy for all departments to keep apprised of work specifically related to their areas of responsibility. Every feature saves time posting requests, communicating status, billing, and reporting. The ability to customize it to fit our property with multiple facilities, parks, equipment was amazing. Our support person has been extremely helpful and always available and quick to respond.

Comments: Our school district is in its second year of using FMX for scheduling events and reserving school facilities and resources. The system has allowed us to bring what was once done on paper by hand to an automated system. Before using the system we were using three different calendaring systems to mange school events, athletics, and resource/facilities scheduling. Now it is all done in one place.

FMX works with us to make changes and improvements based on the needs of our district and It is easy to get in contact with customer support.

FMX deserves a great review!!!!!!!!!!

Overall: My experience with FMX has been refreshing and a completely positive experience. We try not to have vendors, we prefer partners and that is exactly what FMX has brought to us, a partnership. First, their style of communication is to listen to the customer and then help the customer to meet their needs. I feel as if FMX has customize their product to meet every need and want we have requested from them. The maintenance module has improved our efficiency, the automation module has saved us in the thousands per month in utilities cost and the calendar module is so simple to use. We researched several companies who would or could offer these services and FMX was the only one who met our needs and wants at a very affordable price. Anyone of the FMX modules will save you time and money, especially the calendar and automation module. The FMX Team is professional, knowledgeable and just enjoyable to work beside as a partner.

Pros: The software is simple to use, no other way around it. The every day tasks and agenda is in plain site for all to see.

Cons: The software is missing a few features that we utilize with our previous software company. However, since they are a newer company they are open to all suggestions and typically add them in or show you another way to get the same results.

Overall: FMX is a great company that is still growing. The customer service is tremendous, if you have any questions or concerns they are there for you and will find some type of solution for you and your company. The product itself, is extremely user friendly, even for those who may be less tech savvy.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are questioning this company and have a few reservations, just voice them to the customer service representative. They are straight forward with you and will aid you in the whole process.

Comments: In June of 2015 our museum operations team (facilities, exhibits, etc.) subscribed to FMX facilities maintenance cloud based software system. Prior to that we did everything by paper and in multiple Excel files. While it was definitely a transition to learn the software and get all the staff on-board with using it, the payoff has been huge. I was able to build the back end (users, buildings, locations, initial equipment upload, etc.) in about two weeks during some evening hours at home. FMX staff helped by allowing us to mass upload many files direct from Excel. The ability to now easily track all of our work orders, equipment, inventory, and then have everything connected via logs has been revolutionary for our institution. We can be on the floor reviewing a gallery and in real time pull up information (pictures, manuals, work log history, videos, web links, vendor contacts, etc.) on our iPads. The examples of how this product has helped us is endless. Another reason we choose this particular software was their easy to use look. When we showed various demos to our staff they often said it seemed intuitive and had a simple modern look that encouraged them to adopt using it. Also, in just the one year we have used them they have made many improvements to the software, some were even requests we submitted directly. The only downside is that they need an app to make using the software faster and easier, right now we use it on iPads and iPhones through the internet browser. We reviewed a lot of software systems in early 2015 prior to choosing FMX, and I'm confident we made the right choice.

FMX is extremely easy for all users. I do not have issues with any vendors and school staff being able to use the system. It is very simple to track all maintenance going on at all 12 of our schools at one time. It is very stress relieving.

Cons:

I wish they had a Mobile App to allow me to interface with FMX while away from my computer.

Comments: FMX is a great software to utilize ON the job. The software is set up to transfer well to any type of device, allowing our maintenance technicians to use daily on the jobsite. The techs can easily see their tasks for the day, week, month and will receive email notifications of anything new.
As the administrator of the system, I oversee everything. And FMX has made it extremely easy to use and customize to your company's needs. What makes it even more top notch is the ease of communication you have with the company. If you every have any issues or even ideas, they are quick to respond and eager to help.
The only con is that before FMX we were with another large software company, that was extremely detailed (sometimes too much, that we over complicated every task). So, it has been a process trying to get used to the EASINESS of this software (so technically not a true CON).
