Pros: Service Titan is constantly improving and updating features. If there is a problem they are fast to respond and get the issue resolved. The stay in touch through pop-ups and email reminders of what is changing. You can easily track the progress of each technician.

Cons: The reporting functionality needs improvement. It would be great if Service Titan had a custom report generator so you could pull the information you are looking for on the fly.

Overall: Easy way to track technician, department and company goals and progress. Mobile tablets in the field have given a professional and modern way to present options and collect payment for work completed.

Pros:
Schedule the engineers, maintain a database of services and be able to sign the reports, purchase orders, base date an report spare parts and other things.

Pros: I like the way that the accounting side of this software is very intuitive and syncs perfectly with quickbooks.

Cons: Some of the customer service agents will know less about the program than you will.

Overall: The best program out there for dispatching. It has absolutely everything one could need in order to run a service company, and they are adding more every day.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you ask your account rep about the parts of the program you aren't using. There is so much to the program it will take time to activate all of it.

Pros: Easy to navigate

Cons: Color scheme for specific technicians would be helpful if I could assign a color to each technician for scheduling purposes.

Overall: I enjoy using this software program. It is easy to navigate and easy to train our technicians on how to use the software. We also have the app on our work phones for this software and it works efficiently and has given us the opportunity to track and measure our technicians schedules. This is very crucial to our business because we need to stay on top of dispatch, arrival, and completion of our jobs. I have always had great success in communicating with the support team when I have questions or concerns. They are easy to reach and always very helpful when I need answers to questions.

Pros: The phone integation and tracking of dispatchers performance is very unique and very helpful.

Cons: navigating the software from entering a call down to recording the invoice and exporting to your accounting system is just downright time consuming and frustrating.

Overall: Software is not very intuitive. Requires a lot of clicking through to different screens to see and edit different info. Time savings have been gobbled up in dealing with duplicate records caused by glitches in the exporting and numerous other minor issues that add up to be very frustrating. The customer service team is very kind and really helpful. You can tell they really love what they do.

Recommendations to other buyers: Service Titan has a lot of enthusiasm about the product they are building and they have a lot of really good concepts but they are still young and green and missed the boat on numerous items. But I am confident with time they will become the best out there.

Cons: importing (only because I am technology challenged)

I really like the live chats and the scheduled reports.

Pros: Data tracking, phone call recording, dispatch efficiency, invoicing, and on and on. This product does so much for us it is hard to point out the "pros". They just keep impressing me every day!

Cons: This product does not do everything that we would like it to do. But in order to do that we would be spending an exuberant amount of money to have our own software developed. Also note that we are not your typical home service provider. We are a plumbing company that provides everything from minor repairs on up to plumbing a multi-million dollar high-rise project. And the things it doesn't do has just forced us to find better ways of doing things. Service Titan also works hard to develop their product based on customer feedback. We have been with Service Titan for a short time now and already two of my suggestions have been made a reality.

Overall: Service Titan has enabled us to grow in ways we didn't know were possible. With data tracking, a better selling platform, more efficient call booking, and a very easy to use system, we couldn't be happier. Please understand that in the process of selecting Service Titan we painstakingly researched a multitude of different options. Hands down this is the most versatile and productive option. But the best part...the Service Titan staff. I have never had the opportunity to work with a service provider that was absolutely at the top of their game every time I made contact with them. Until now. From their sales staff on down to tech support everyone has been impeccably perfect in the service they have provided. The way they manage our account is fantastic. They departmentalize every aspect of the Service Titan experience to ensure that you will be dealing with the person that has the answers and can make it happen. Do you want to know how to grow your business? Use the Service Titan business model as your example of perfection. With service like theirs you will gain all the customer you could ever dream of. We should all be this good.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do your research. Demo products. Use them on a test basis with real world scenarios. Make your decision based on what the product can do for you and your future. If a software provider does not offer you a free trial period with full access it isn't worth buying.

We have been using Service Titan for about 8 months. Very happy with the program.

Comments: I'm still having trouble with how the sales tax comes over from Service Titan to Quickbooks. I'm not sure if the problem is in the tax set up in ST. Still working on figuring this out.

Comments: We are a 4 truck plumbing service company. A company at this level means the boss is wearing too many hats. Service Titan removes a bunch of those hats by default. We have grown 30% from 2015 to 2016. This year we are up again by 35% and with Service Titan's Built in Call Tracking we know where the calls are coming from, what percentage of those leads are getting booked, what percentage of those booked calls are converting to Sold Jobs in the Field, and what the average ticket is. Managing these four Key Indicators are essential to growth and success. Service Titan makes that management easier. The price book on the tablet allows us to sell at the proper price and get the average ticket to the level we need . I would highly recommend Service Titan. I have used other packages in the past. Service Titan is a no brainer. The cost per month is more than worth it. You can look me up on line if you need more info. They have incredible customer support also.

Comments: I am new to the software and learning all the in and outs. I'm trying to get the garbage in issues corrected on my side as I see some errors which are making my reporting bad as well. Garbage in/garbage out:-) Alex and the online chat team have been very helpful and I expect nothing but the same as I continue. Thank you for all your help.

On another note, the data conversion team at MINBODY where I use to be the data conversion manager for almost 3 years might be right for the pickings if you need data conversion specialist and they can work remote. One reason I left MINDBODY, I fought the whole time to pay them appropriately with little results. Writing was on the wall.

Comments: Matthew Huber is my go-to-genius as I have worked with him continuously regarding any issues I have in any area of Service Titan so he knows me well. We began a session yesterday and I had to leave before we were able to complete the issue and he told me what time I could reach him the next day and we were able to get on a shared screen session which was the best idea thus far as I am a visual person therefore I felt like i was in the same room with him going step-by-step and not only were we able to resolve the problem at hand we were also able to resolve some other issues that came up as well. Matthew has been very patient with me and I truly appreciate his professionalism as well as expertise with Service Titan!

The software is updated on a regular basis and new improvements are always around the corner.

Comments: We are really enjoying using Service Titan. The ease of use is certainly a plus, so training new employees is much smoother. The customer service is always great. We enjoy being able to get in touch with a customer service rep that can solve our problems on chat immediately without having to wait. Comments: Second to none customer service. Old school type service with new school technology.
One the cons is you can't bypass any steps with the software as far as dispatching and scheduling, but that is also from a managers standpoint the biggest pro.
Service Titan implements new ideas on the fly. They listen to the end users. Product development us unmatched which is why they've become a leader. I've on boarded with other software platforms where they just sell you the software and basically leave to fly at the seat of your pants. Service Titan is the polar opposite. You have someone assigned to your every move.

Comments: Having everything tracked from technician check-in time to finish time, adding photos, sending invoices and seeing that the email went through to the customer (or even if it didn't) is great.
The customer service reps and onboarding rep have all been great to work with. We are at our 6th month using the software.
Would love to see some flexbility in some of the options when it pertains to sales numbers as they relate to variables in payroll options, but overall, everyone here seems to like the addition of Service Titan!

Comments: The software has a very easy to use user interface. We are able to onboard new employees with ease because of the simplicity. Even the most stubborn techs, who were the most resistant to change and technology, now love it and would not be able to function without it.

Comments: Our team switched to Service Titan in December of 2014. The transition was easy enough through their implementation team. Since implementation, we have an infinitely better view and understanding of our company, and our key performance indicators are never more than a click away. While we have seen the product & company grow and improve throughout the year, the one thing that makes me most impressed with Service Titan is the quality of care that they give to their customers. I know that I am not one of their larger customers, but they treat us like we are the only customer they are providing their software, and are never more than a phone call away. I believe Service Titan will continue to rapidly improve over the next 2 years, as they are constantly rolling out significant updates to their software. For us, we can't imagine doing business without them anymore.

Comments: Service Titan was able to streamline processes that could become tedious. By using this program, I have been able to book calls faster, dispatch the appropriate technicians to their jobs with ease, and the program also allows me to be dynamic in scheduling and logistics because everything is right in front of me (my technician's locations, the location of the service call, the time of the appointment, etc. No day in a service company runs smooth and scheduling can be very dynamic as some calls take longer than expected and others take no time at all. But Service Titan allows me to handle these situations with ease. Now, I can't believe we ever did anything without Service Titan. I highly recommend the program to all service companies. The program works great and the support team is very helpful.

Comments: I couldn't run my new plumbing business without Service Titan. The mobile technician platform enables me to go paperless. Comments: Pros: easy to get up and running. We onboard people in less than half an hour which is amazing. They're certainly not masters of the software that quickly but the software is not slowing down the new employee process at all. One of my favorite parts is the constant regular upgrades and improvements based on user feedback. Their customer service is the bar that I measure our company at....they kill it.

Cons: about every quarter there will be a hiccup with the backend servers (whatever that means) and it will go down. They always get it fixed quickly but none the less everyone at my company freaks out because service Titan is such a huge part of our day to day operations.

My experience: absolutely love it. It's like when you meet the one and you realize you weren't really living until you were together.

Comments: I have used many soft ware programs for scheduling customers, maintaining repeat business, and tracking marketing information as well as customers and I can say, with out a doubt, Service Titan is the easiest to learn, use, and grow with. We are able to manage 31 phone numbers for marketing, we can track all of our KPI's, and we are able to maintain a very large customer base.

Comments: PROS:
Reports are great.
We are able to have accurate information to track the technician's numbers.
Support is really good. We love the support tickets.
Dispatch is easy.
Easy to navigate through the entire system.

CONS:
System is slow sometimes.

Onboard process needs a lot of work. We did a lot of prep on our end to learn the software and teach our techs. The training videos are great, but we would have preferred to have a better onboard where we were taught the system.

Comments: Service Titan was created by two young men who grew up in the industry. It comes from good humble beginnings and is sustained by hard work and customer centered responsiveness. I have been in the service trades for nearly 4 decades. We have been computerized for more than half of that time, so technology is not new for us. We tried other solutions. When we discovered Service Titan 2 years ago we were literally blown away! They have pulled together all the pieces and are continuing to provide cutting edge solutions for the trades. Comments: Everything that we have always wanted to have taken care of with our growing business is done using this product. We had been using Smart Service (don't ever purchase) and the difference in time saved between the two products is astounding. We had all the office staff trained in two days and were able to train someone to help cover the phones and dispatching in half a day. If we do get stuck on something the help tab can help us remedy the problem we are having fast with quick three minute videos of how to complete whatever you are trying to do. The flexibility in the payroll part has been huge for us as we are a flat rate based company that pays per billable hour. It used to take me 6 hours to complete payroll and I just did my first payroll using service titan in less than 3 hours using their reports that are automatically generated. It is so intuitive and easy to use. One glitch that has come up has been the transfer over to quickbooks, if a customer's name is too long, it won't send it over. Even so when I have had a problem I am responded to by customer service immediately which is huge! Their customer service is great and I find it refreshing to have a company ask you for feedback, which they do regularly.
