Pros: I love that Infusionsoft puts so many things into one product: CRM, eCommerce, billing, marketing automation, etc. I LOVE building an automated machine and then just letting it do its thing. Currently we have five marketing channels running, and they all feed leads into Infusionsoft with lead source tracking, sales rep assignment, and automated follow up. It's awesome.

Cons: New features are sometimes rolled out too soon, a bit buggy, and even after being improved, they're often not perfected.

Overall: Save time, follow up with all leads, stay organized.

Infusionsoft is a super product.

Pros: Infusionsoft can do EVERYTHING - it can be coded any way you want it to be. It has so many time saving features if you know how to set them up. It honestly makes life so much easier.

Cons: The interface is not as intuitive. It takes time in the software to learn it. Generally you have to hire an expert to set it up for you. After that, it just runs on its own.

Overall: Infusionsoft is our sales pipeline. I love the tracking of our opportunities with the access to forecast our high and low potential month by month. It's also wonderful to understand where the weakest points are for conversion. It helps fix links in the funnel easily.

Pros: easy to use once you have learnt the system and does tons of stuff to interact with our customer list...also the segmenting part of tagging is amazing

Cons: takes time!!! to learn the system and then once you have learnt it you have to train others up on the system which is the most important part to build a team up of success infusionites to drive the business forward

Overall: builds super close relationships with my customers and that is the most important thing for our business

I'm still learning but it'll be a great asset for our clients.

Pros: I love how easy it is to create email campaigns. They're easy to map out and having the visual aspect is great. It cuts out having to map them out by hand first.

Overall: It will give my co-workers and myself more time to focus on other creative tasks because of the automation the software allows us to do.

I have a great overall experience. Most things are very clearly laid out and easy to understand.

Pros: The visual layout is very clean and simple to use for even basic users. It makes it very easy to get into, but difficult to master.

Cons: I wish there was an option to show the entire view of the campaign builder, including sequences, in one view. Also, I know the old legacy stuff is outdated, but for older accounts, it would be nice to have an easier view of how some of the legacy stuff is tied together.

Overall: Super easy-to-learn automation

Pros: The campaign builder is great once you figure it out. If you can harness the power of the campaign builder, you will be able to segment your list more effectively than with any other service I've seen out there. I especially like the decision diamonds where I can split people into different sections and dramatically increase the relevance factor on any emails that I send.

Cons: I feel like I'm paying for a landline/internet/TV/wireless bundle from the cable company. There are various things that I don't need but I keep paying the monthly fee because the campaign builder is a game changer. I wish they would offer some of this stuff a la carte.

Overall: AWESOME segmentation for emails!

Pros: Infusionsoft allows me to quickly respond to customer inquiries in a meaningful way. The information that is available at my fingertips for each contact is quite extensive and the tagging feature allows my company to track as much or as little of our user activity as we like.

Cons: The affiliate and shopping cart features aren't great. I also wish that the product purchase actions were in the same section as product creation as it's a little annoying to go back and forth.

Overall: Amazing organization of customers information.

Expansive software that will do everything you need, but may be more than you need for the price.

Pros: This software is setting the standard for Internet marketers. It allows you set up easy or complex follow up marketing messages and is very robust. There techinical support is rather good, but I can give them a five star because many times they would put the project back on us.

Cons: The learning curve can be quite intense even if you have dabbled in this type of software before. I think it is expensive unless you really use a lot of its features, which are plentiful.

Overall: Once it is set up, it is sesy to track leads and customers and their exposures

Pros: it allows us to automate our marketing and internal processes with a user interface that doesn't required coding to customize.

Cons: The reporting, specifically marketing ROI and billing reports leaves a lot to be desired. It can be really difficult to get the information we need without having to use 3rd party software or developers.

Pros: Not much. The whole experience with it was very frustrating. Their targeting and automation options were good, although not easy to set up or review later. There are just so many other similar solutions for a better price - and easier to use.

Cons: It was very complicated, hard to use. A long learning curb and automation reviews or changes were just not user-friendly.

Overall: Mostly - it pushed me to find other solutions! While using it, we did generate some good results, but after we switched everything got much better. Our whole team loved the transition.

Pros: The campaign builder is a great aspect of this software. I like that I can physically see each element of my campaigns, and it's very easy to build them.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve. I feel like the dashboard can be made more user friendly. The training helps some, but it's difficult to search for things if you're not sure where they are.

Pros: Infusionsoft enables us to deliver EXTREMELY targeted and relevant follow up to our customers. No other software comes close in terms of segmentation possibilities and granularity.

Cons: It takes a while to wrap your head around how everything works so I'd say the learning curve is a minor weakness but it's much better than it used to be. The shopping cart is terrible compared to standalone solutions like BigCommerce, Shopify, etc but it's not completely useless if you only plan on using order forms with your products. Luckily, Infusionsoft's API is awesome so you can just bolt on external software for whatever function in Infusionsoft that you don't want to use.

Overall: Unmatched customer follow up capability.

Pros: The campaign builder is an extremely powerful resources we use to automate all of our marketing campaigns. The software includes an API for doing custom integrations, while it doesn't open up the software completely, it does allow the right programmer to work with it and really make it sing.

Cons: It's meant for Small Businesses...our business is teetering on outgrowing Infusionsoft, which is unfortunate because outside of custom solutions, there aren't many options as powerful as Infusionsoft.

Comments: I've only recently signed up with this software but I can already tell that it has features that will grow my business and make my life easier unlike any that I've had before. My impression is that it is the rolls royce of software for spas. They are so classy, upscale & professional. Well...one exception: Except for the initial rude person that I talked to, which I was able to go beyond, every other experience I've had since then has been great! I'm very happy that I did not judge this company based upon that initial encounter. I love the fact that their primary focus is upon growing businesses, increasing sales and saving us a lot of time. In fact, they actually train customers in a very customized manner to be successful in marketing. Another thing I like is that unlike most all software, I can save time & resources by putting my all of my forms online, thus, my business is able to virtually go entirely paperless, as well as spend more time serving clients. I just know that in the long run, this is the very best software for me and where I'm trying to take my business - to the next level!!!

Pros: The "if this, then that" capability and the fact that it's a visualization process, if you can think it up, you can build it.

Cons: The reporting I find could be better, but there are many integrations.

Overall: I hesitated with infusionsoft for years because of the term cycling "confusionsoft", so we started with HubSpot and MailChimp and other tools until we decided it was time for the upgrade.
The kickstart program had me running in less than a month and fully functional and then infusionsoft university made me fully proficient. This company is dedicated to their users and their platform and it is an amazing tool that works when you work it. Absolutely love it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a dedicated person for your company as the "business owner" will not be able to utilize the full capability of this.

Pros: Contacts, emails, and payment processing all in one system.

Cons: Every add-on costs more money.

Slow, clunky to get around, and time consuming.

Overall: It's true. I'm pretty tech savvy and infusionsoft is not easy to use. I find it "clunky", slow, and very expensive. It is difficult and time-consuming to set up campaigns and even then, things don't always work right. I dread using it and would hire someone to just use it for me if I could find anyone. I am unable to generate simple reports which are frustrating. The payment processing is the only semi-streamlined function.

Pros: The people of InfusionSoft know how to help customize their software to whatever you want to follow, no matter how unconventional it is. They work hard at through free of cost assistance to leverage their program to the clients benefit.

They have a large and deep community of users that help enrich the users' experience.

Cons: Its integration is less ubiquitous than that of SalesForce, but is growing constantly.

Overall: Looking at most CRMs the database aspect is pretty much the same from one to another. What I have found is that most are slightly better setup for sales than for customer service. Without diminishing the importance of sales (we all need them, all the time) we are a customer service-based company and follow many qualitative data points of customer satisfaction and comments. We use them to keep track of current service levels and to anticipate the needs of our clients.

InfusionSoft has been very good at helping us identify these data and prepare them for analysis. SalesForce is not as friendly to helping us find and use them. I take nothing away from SalesForce and a robust sales program for medium and large operations, however small to medium businesses that are driven by customer service more than sales will find that InfusionSoft is more tho their liking.

As for the value, both are reasonable in terms of ROI, but InfusionSoft is less costly and has a much softer, more relaxed sales team. After sale, InfusionSoft is outstanding in helping capture complex, less obvious data about our clients. InfusionSoft represents the concierge service level that so many businesses are trying to develop and maintain with their customer base.

Recommendations to other buyers: Certainly put InfusionSoft on your list of candidates when you are reviewing for a new CRM. We were pleasantly surprised when we found them a few years ago, and they have only become better since then.

Pros: Slightly less expensive than industry leaders for marketing automation.

Cons: CRM is lacking. Though it claims to have a CRM and it does its job, there are better CRMs available so you may consider seeking a better solution and connecting it with InfusionSoft using its API or Zapier.

Overall: InfusionSoft is known for its friendly and logical campaign builder which is like dragging and dropping elements then connecting arrows to make logical sequences with if/then flows. Tagging and filling fields can add some more complexity but someone with a good grasp of InfusionSoft who has received training can do a lot. Once a development team connects all website elements to IS, a marketer can run IS on their own which is great. InfusionSoft also has elements that make it great for ecommerce.

Overall: Infusionsoft pays for it self time and time again. Although, there is an incredible learning curve - what follows after is just great! You can create systems and change them with just a few clicks. Powerful software that can transform any business. Highly satisfied with the abilities of the software. I wish I had more time to learn more.

Not for everyone, but certainly awesome!

Pros: I love the ease with which I can build an automated campaign - just drag and drop! It's also great that it can integrate with almost anything. The customer service is superb. The company is super receptive to feedback, and over the course of my customer-ship has made multiple upgrades for the better.

Cons: Because of its broad functionality, it can be pretty overwhelming to the newbie. There are also multiple ways to accomplish the same objective (adding tags to a contact, as an example), that it makes it difficult to train internally. We also have an eCommerce function that goes totally unused, because we're not in the eCommerce business. I feel like it should be an optional add-on, really.

Overall: From the first day of our product purchase, the Infusionsoft team made it clear that they were committed to our success. From the onboarding training, to their technical support, to their webinars - it's easy to tell they care about their customers and have total belief in their product. We were able to learn what we needed to automate and integrate our business, and quit doing repetitive tasks manually. It's opened up a world of integrations for us, and has been the catalyst to finding other software to complement and bolster our Infusionsoft tasks.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do your research about the software - it's not for everyone, but it's certainly working well for us.

Pros: Create a sequence based on a goal is the core of the software. When you keep the automation processes short the software can be highly effective.

Cons: As an apps strategist my focus is mobile. I want to be able to do everything on my phone without starting a computer. Sometimes campaigns can be very time incentive to set up.

Overall: It's practical to scan business cards with your mobile device and "TAG" them. That could be very useful if you have a process in place how to handle new contacts.

Excellent Choice For Experienced Marketers

Comments: When my B2B employer needed an all-in-one CRM + marketing automation platform, I was responsible for researching and directing the selection process. I have years of experience using a variety of marketing automation and CRM systems so I knew what to look for and the right questions to ask.

It has been invaluable to our B2B organization and allows our sales team to handle a much greater workload since we have now been able to implement automation to handle many repetitive tasks that the team would previously handle manually.

Some points marketers may want to keep in mind:

- If you haven't tried solutions like MailChimp, Hatchbuck, Aweber, etc, then start there. It seems like many small businesses just need 1 - 5 automated campaigns / autoresponders and this system is likely overkill. Once you've outgrown those systems, have a sales team, and have hundreds of leads coming in each week / month then this may be a better fit.

- Consider your proficiency level when it comes to learning new software. Have you tried signing up for a free free CRM trials like Zoho or Nutshell recently? Can you set them up and configure them in an hour or so without needing support? If you find yourself struggling with this, then Infusionsoft will definitely pose a learning curve for you.

Some weak points that other marketers may find:

1 - the CRM is weak in comparison to other options on the market. It's not quite as customizable in terms of how the contact record is displayed.

2 - the email builder tool does not yet allow users to create responsive forms. This is a major flaw in 2015. A new tool is supposed to be coming soon, but that's been reported for a while.

Overall, I would recommend this software - but only to companies who have taken the time to really figure out what their needs are and understand exactly how their existing businesses processes could benefit from automation.

Good job!

Comments: PRO: They hired good sales person, and have a whopping $500 referral fees.

CON: They mislead and false promise when they trying to hook you onto their system. They drag on and don't let you cancel.

The Sales person mislead me into the product when I sign on. And they incorrectly billed my credit card even after I've cancelled with them.

Infusionsoft charged me $2000+$299 for first month of service fee, Evan Samurin (the Sales) says if it is not for me, they will do something to credit the upfront $2000 back to me. After I used it for a month I emailed Evan saying infusionsoft is not for me, he says that he will forward the message to customer service. I haven't heard from infusionsoft again, I have followed up with Evan with no reply.

My credit card is billed month after month, which forced me to call my credit card to cancel the card. Then someone from Infusionsoft customer service, Blake Ghormley emailed me saying I have unpaid balance. I asked Blake to communicate with Evan and credit me back for the months that I didn't use. Blake Ghormley disappeared again.

The problem of this product is, Infusionsoft pays $500 referral fee to the person introduce to them. So a lot of contractors will say that infusionsoft is good. But those contractor may only know how to use 5% of the product, which is similar to other lower cost competitors which pays less referral fees. And when you want to cancel, my experience is they will skip your emails.

I personally would not recommend any company to use their service.
- Most companies would not need such a BIG solution. If you are big enough you will go to SAP.
- Their $500 referral fee, and false sales promises is not someone would look for.
- Don't worry about cancelling with them, they skip these emails.

Comments: Biggest complaint is that emails aren't responsive - which in 2015 means your messages look bad on more than half of the devices. Text is way too small on mobile devices and messages don't even look that great on desktop (constrained width, poor formatting options etc) . They keep saying that they're working on this but no date given for launch. Frankly, their software platform seems too bloated and "mature" for them to easily accomplish this without a total overhaul of the platform

There are serious bugs with certain browsers (ie, chrome, safari) that make working in the campaign builder frustrating.

I've discovered much better automation tools that are tailored to an e-commerce owners (rare.io for instance) that also integrate directly with our Shopify platform. Most are also much less expensive and doesn't require setup or expensive integration. (we're currently also paying $100/month just to connect Shopify with Infusionsoft)

I think Infusionsoft is best for people peddling e-books and knowledge products, that don't depend on presentation or design for differentiation. The campaign builder is cool for long, funnel based sales sequences but less of a differentiator these days, as the ability to create if/then response emails seems increasingly to be a standard feature for email platforms.

Customer service is excellent - no fault there (thanks Goldman Sachs).

The platform is potentially very powerful but requires a ton of time and effort tom implement, test and troubleshoot campaigns. In our case, I thought this was going to help with our B2B efforts but have found these really can;t be automated. The CRM by itself is quite good but if paying over $200/month there are much cheaper options. I was hoping to integrate everything in one system but looks like it will be cheaper and more effective not to for us to combine the best tools for each job.

Overall, while Infusionsoft is a fairly mature platform, this is now working against them as mobile takes over. I think Infusionsoft is going to lose market share to smaller more nimble platforms that do one thing really well, and integration between tools becomes simpler and more ubiquitous. You will end up with a few platforms but overall it will be cheaper and closer to what you actually need.

PS - It's hard to find Infusionsoft "reviewers" who aren't on the take. Infusionsoft has a very well developed reseller program having been around for a long time.

The system is very robust to all sales situations

You may need some initial training which can cost a little extra, but if you dont, the system could seem a little overwhelming for some.

The customer service and helpdesk is the best i have come across anywhere in the world.

The system is the cake and the help desk team are the icing!

Comments: My advice:
Schedule two weeks where you are going to spend half of every day working on automating your current business, sales and marketing campaigns. This will literally save you ten fold in time and money spent over the next few months. Using this software has not only allowed us to increase efficiency, it has helped us see our processes and align them with our vision better than ever before.

Comments: I've played with many other cheaper systems and wasted both time and money. Once you get your head around tagging and campaign sequences, Infusionsoft is really quite simple. At last a product where you don't have to fit what you want to do around a product's features. This does what I want for my business - and even more powerful now I've upgraded to using CustomerHub.

Comments: Flexibility! If I want to send emails, no problem. Faxes - Done. Internal communications - No problem. Voice mail - You betcha'. No other software can do this - It's not just online marketing it's fully integrated marketing software that even gives you a visual campaign builder to boot!
At first, it was tough, no doubt about it. But so was my Mac, my PC, and every software I ever bought. But then, they trained me, they have a bazillion hours of online training on every possible subject you could think of and it that wasn't enough you can just give them a call and they'll help you through any problems or just general questions.

Comments: We've been using infusionsoft for about 6 years now. One of the things you quickly learn about growing a business is that it takes a system. The system can include everything from shopping carts/billing- email marketing and email to service clients- websites, forms, a sales tracking system, advertising and more. So you are going to need a system that can pull of those things together and help you manage and use them to the greatest affect possible. We have been able to go from 100 members/clients to over a 1000 and infusion has supported us every step of the way. Great customer support, robust features, and tutorials and guidance out the wazu. I highly recommend you get off the fence and give them a try.

Comments: The new visual Campaign Builder makes this insanely easy for anyone. There's plenty of functionality that comes stock, but if you really want to get fancy the Infusionsoft API is available, plus there's tons of third-party services and people that specialize in Infusionsoft to make anything you want happen. These guys are in with the times. Design and functionality is all there. Online chat is insanely available and the people that help are surprisingly friendly. The phone support is also top-notch. And I can't leave out the personal one-on-one coaching webinars I received upon signing up to make sure I had everything I needed. Comments: Infusionsoft helps Small Business owners automate and personalize their email communication to customers and prospects. I didn't even hesitate when I signed up over a year ago. I just started to use the HOT LEADS function (a tip I learned from a USER GROUP) and love it! I am alerted when someone in my mailing list is engaging with my touches, and this allows me to step in, and send a personal email or phone call. The system was designed to help me organize my leads, and then close sales, and I am excited for the future using this product.

PROS-
1. Automating my business
2. Personalizing my email touches
3. Helps me to see who's HOT and who's NOT at a glance
4. Great tool for sales reps to log activity and stay on top of customers
5. User groups to help you learn new ideas
6. Unlimited amount of support tools to help you set up your application each step of the way.

CONS-
1. The learning curve-but the tools and support are there to get you started. You just need to use them!

Solid CRM for Marketing Minded Business Owners

Pros: Complex enough to deal with the complex marketing challenges that business owners face, but simple enough that you can train your staff to utilize it in a couple days.
Their tagging, and custom fields allow for extreme segmentation of your database. Their API allows for extremely custom solutions that their standard software may not address.
Customer support is excellent and the management of the company is very interested in what the customer needs and is looking for.
Biggest plus of Infusionsoft is their origin story. The software was initially developed to meet the demands of direct response marketers. From that starting point they have enhanced the service to meet or exceed industry standards for CRMs.
Quite frankly, we wouldn't be in business if it were not for the automation we were able to achieve using InfusionSoft. I'd recommend this software to ANY BUSINESS PERSON who is serious about marketing and automation.

Cons: It's complex software. It isn't a basic auto responder, there are a lot of parts.
To be frank, after using the software for years I still don't know how to use 60% of what I know it can do.
While support is great, there could be more educational opportunities to during the course of the year to learn specific sections of the software's capabilities.
There's a significant investment up front for the software that may cause some to hesitate (it's worth it, but still, that could be a con for some)
You get penalized for people not knowing that marking you as spam is a big deal for the sender. So even if the recipient requested you email them, if they mark you as spam, you can get get into trouble with InfusionSoft. (I think this may be the case with any email sender though.)

Overall: If you're working out of spreadsheets or locally stored CRM or a mix of marketing systems (including billing), STOP!
Put this powerful CRM to work for you. I PROMISE this is the number 1 biggest right move we made when we formed our company, and you can't go wrong.
