Pros: I loved the user experience, ease of use, time savings and overall quality of the program! Well worth the investment

Cons: I don't like the price of the solution. I have used to get better deals from Oracle's Eloqua product.

HubSpot is a fantastic tool for a small marketing team who is just getting started.

Pros: I love the integrations and functionality of the software. Overall, it has a smooth user experience. Everything works nicely together from email marketing to social media and more. The interface is very user friendly and easy to learn quickly. HubSpot was always investing in better design and new features.

Cons: At times, the platform was a bit wonky, but that comes with all software. HubSpot is clearly the expert in inbound marketing, so we wish we had more insight and training on best practices for our specific company type and industry from a HS rep. We felt like the customer service was helpful to an extent, but not in a strategic way where we had direction or help with running campaigns.

Pros: I absolutley love this software, It has very little glitches and makes my life easier. It pretty much does everything I need it to do.

Pros: We actually had a custom-made HubSpot platform for our specific business. The "promises" made that would be achieved did not occur and I believe it was poorly launched.

Cons: Customer Support, ease of use, duplication, CRM needed work. Not as much ability to track traffic as desired.

Pros: I like best that I can keep track of so many things in one place for my customers. I can see all previous contact, both by myself or others. It's one place for all documents, able to keep track of completed tasks, history of the customer, etc

Cons: Hubspot have a beautifully designed product. Given the complexity of marketing automation software, they have done a great job of making it intuitive for small business owners with little or no coding ability.

Overall: We are able to manage our client relationships from one place, holding all of their data making it easily accessible across the company. The dashboards are incredibly helpful in interpreting sales data.

Pros: The guys at Hubspot go out of their way to make sure you feel at ease with what they are helping you accomplish. They will take your current strategy and make all the necessary improvements to maximize your social marketing effectiveness. Improvement was noticed right away and they got our social marketing team involved and engaged in reaching and exceeding our goals.

Cons: There is not a lot to dislike about their service. They really are fairly priced and are definately effective.

Overall: Hubspot manages your social media and reviews in an optimal mannner and minimizes what you have to do to stay on top of it all.

I highly recommend Hubspot to all of my friends

Pros: Marketing automation is hands down the best feature. Setting up workflows. I love the sales tracking. That shouldn't be an add on. It's essential.

Cons: Not much. I think the workflows could be "printable" or "shareable" meaning you can send them to your team so they know what's up.

Hubspot has some great features but also a learning curve.

Pros: Scaled pricing is incredible. The capability to use their platform for free to start and then scale up as necessary is a fantastic feature.

Cons: The learning curve can be high at free levels as support isn't as quick but that is expected - it's free after all.

Overall: Better control of marketing and sales funnels.

Pros: It covers almost everything modern digital marketing is about. HubSpot itself is a digital marketing pioneer, which helps them with implementing the latest technology.

Cons: The design side could be better, comparing examples like wordpress, Squarespace, mailchimp, etc. The collateral/file management system isn't ideal.

Too bloated for small biz, not sophiticated enough for medium too large biz.

Pros: I used to like integration with linked but that's no longer possible. Making simple campaigns and running them is pretty simple.

Cons: The site map is all over the place. Needs to slim down and be more consistent in how things are viewed and listed from page to page. Analytics are just okay.

Overall: Business development tool

Pros: The best thing about Hubspots marketing automation is that the basic stuff is easy to setup and then it's limits are moreorless only your imagination. You can just leave it at the basics, email responders, segmented lists etc but chances are that over time your setup will evolve and all the tools are there to allow it to.

Cons: You do need to have somebody maintaining your workflows when they get more complex, things will get missed and complications will arise and somebody needs to know how to fix issues if they arise. That means you can't just get in a one time consultant.

So Thankful for HubSpot Marketing Automation is Awesome!

Pros: I am so glad to have discovered HubSpot Marketing Automation! It is great for small business owners. You can put your email campaigns in & set them to autopilot so they automatically go out when you need them to! You can also customize & personalize your workflow easily by using a very simple visual editor. There are so many things you can do with Hubspot, here are just a few more I can think of: you can use workflows to set up webhooks, score leads, rotate leads to sales, and easily manage your data in bulk by updating properties, copying values, and more. I would highly recommend you checking out Hubspot Marketing Automation for your home or small business.

Overall: Ease of use, easy to send out my email marketing campaigns!

I used Hubspot as a complete beginner and I learnt SO much in such a short space of time.

Pros: With an extensive Blog to view, with lots of valuable knowledge you can learn a lot just from spending a few hours reading posts on there. I mainly used it for Marketing & Sales Training, which was absolutely fantastic. Easy to follow and understand video courses with an examination at the end meant I was able to test what I had been learning. The certification is also a nice touch. Fantastic customer support.

Cons: No real issues other than when I had passed an exam the results weren't showing and I couldn't download my certificate. One email to customer support and they could see in their system my results and it was soon resolved.

Pros: I think is a very useful software for marketing monitoring and optimisation. I like the fact that you can save your money while learning to use the provided data so you will pay once you define what are your goals, and solutions.

Cons: I have no major issues with this software.. I haven't seen any shortcomings far. There has been times when I missed some specific answers from the support team and it took a while to get them but other than that nothing comes to mind..

Overall: Clarification on my marketing efforts..

Pros: It's extremely easy to track email conversions, opening rates, etc. You can import contacts from .csv files and therefore automate a big part of the daily sales work.

Cons: It's not always clear how to get the most out of all the features. Maybe it could provide a better walkthrough or case studies on how others use Hubspot.

Pros: Easy to use and you get more than what you paid for. Can be integrated with your internal systems and can import your legacy xls files at ease

Cons: Some features are missing compared to Salesforce but again you get what you pay for. Not very configurable- the DASHBOARD

Pros: I truly love the ease of using this system for marketing as it helps beginners such as myself learn the marketing ropes and how to do almost everything offered in the tool. I also love the HubSpot University as it has taught me so much already about sales and marketing!

Cons: Nothing on tool but wish I had more time to learn EVERYTHING about HubSpot Marketing! HubSpot offers so many different options and tools within the system that could benefit us but don't have all the time to learn it all!

Pros: We used for the ability to track e-mails and have a better idea which marketing messages worked better based on clicks. This was also useful to know when a customer was reviewing our info for a timely follow up phone call!

Cons: Having to constantly log in, it should be able to hold your log in information for more than a day or 1 re-boot of the pc

Overall: The ability to know when e-mails are being read via timed receipts and great for marketing messages, identify what's working

Pros: I only used this for tracking read receipts but it was great for that purpose. I would have ideally liked to see it used for more things though.

Cons: It wasn't readily apparent what other services this software could offer so I ended up not using it for anything else.

Cons: You have to know HTML coding and as far as I see it would require to hire another person to do the work. You need to know HTML for coding.

Pros: Comprehensive tools (landing pages, social media posting, blogging, email marketing, etc.) and very good customer service. Also a great beta testing process.

Cons: Too expensive for onboarding and the add-ons. Took forever to onboard due to legacy cloud problems with the importation. The fact that they don't have properly associated Contacts and Companies and that email must be unique caused months of problems for us.

Overall: Now that we know the limitations of Hubspot we know what we are looking for with our next marketing automation software

Pros: Hubspot makes managing my marketing content easy. I love that I can automate all of my marketing communications including email and my printed direct mail.

Cons: We use Salesforce as our CRM system and I would love if the two worked better together. We struggle to build reports across the two systems to get a full picture of our marketing ROI.

They offer a lot of great tools to track your ROI.

Cons: Primarily B2B oriented, could use a few improvements for B2C companies, but this is easily overcome if you invest time to setup to meet your needs.

Pros: I started using Hubspot SalesPro recently and absolutely love it. I use Outlook for Mac (web & desktop version) and was not able to track if prospects were opening my emails or clicking on the content or links I was sending them. Now that I am using Hubspot I can track all of that and have all of my various templates saved. Hubspot also gives you suggestions as you are writing the emails to make it more appealing to the opener. It is super easy to use and really helpful with tracking and templates. You can also nurture contacts which they call putting them in sequences, basically scheduling emails to send out in order, in advance.

Cons: I wish you could put more than one contact in a sequence at a time. This is not available in the Sales edition, so you have to manually put everyone in a sequence aka campaign. Kind of time consuming. Also, I wish there was a BCC feature that worked with Salesforce. I only use Hubspot for emailing and need all my data pushed back to Salesforce. If you are using Hubspot as your CRM you will be fine, but this is a downfall if you use Salesforce.

Finding your way around can be a little confusing at first, but Hubspot has great potential!

Pros: The ability to track mail opens were great. Hubspot is a really powerful CRM system if used correctly.

Cons: It simply stops working after a while. Everything from the email integration to browser plugin, I stopped receiving notifications after a while as was the same case when I trialled this software a year earlier.

Overall: Ability to track email opens to gauge potential client interest.

Pros: There are lots of resources to turn to for help. They called to provide insights about what our organization could be doing better with their software.

Cons: The design section needs help, and is very difficult to use. With all the technology out there now a days to build things drag and drop ready (like Squarespace, and Mailchimp), it is still very difficult to build your own landing pages or email templates. The templates one can buy or use for free are extremely difficult to update on your own.

Overall: Inbound marketing results

I use it for mostly email marketing campaigns, and creating landing pages.

Pros: I like how it walks you through a step by step process when setting up the email and making sure that everything is ready to go. It also gives you suggestions such as adding personal tokens, and having correct length in the preview text.

Cons: The formatting can be off, and I don't like when it puts a space between paragraphs. There is probably a way to chance it, but I can't figure it out. I also wish there was a way to preview different text styles.

Pros: Hubspot made keeping track of the emails that I sent out. Knowing if they have been read or if I needed to look or try something different.

Cons: The system would sometimes not connect properly but this was resolved fast. The price seemed a bit to much for me to continue use though.

Pros: Hubspot allows me to instantly receive notifications when some one opens email I sent them. I can call or email my prospect knowing my business is top of mind!

Cons: Constant notifications prompting me to upgrade my service with them. Logging into other emails automatically prompts Hubspot to integrate with another personal email not for business.

Overall: Knowing that my prospects are reading my emails allowing me to call or text when I'm top of mind.

Pros: I like the features that are offered for tracking clients/marketing/opportunities won/lost. We didn't purchase this software though as we are currently using one that we're fairly happy with. I had no cons, it wasn't my decision not to consider purchase of another software. We are a sales organization and need a good CRM that allows us to track progress of our clients interests, sales, etc.

Overall: I just used a free trial but really liked what I saw. Unfortunately I don't make the decisions on the final decision.

Hubspot has really helped in the automation of a lot of our business processes.

Pros: For a startup like ours, everything needed for marketing and sales has been provided and it's very easy to use and navigate through all the features.

Cons: The fact that one has to pay for technical support. Emails sent through this platform seem to be caught in spam a lot. The HTML editor also needs great work.

Pros: EASE OF USE! After using a competitor and working with both side by side the most obvious difference was how easy to use HubSpot was! It made navigating contacts and tools extremely easy to help convert leads into sales. A clear step a head of the competition in this category for me.

Cons: The Cost. Compared to some other similar softwares it was a bit pricey. However you get what you pay for, if you can afford the jump your company will notice a huge difference in overall quality.

Pros: Great marketing automation set-up with a variety of key and core features, the HubSpot user interface and site design makes it easy to use. The system practically walks you through the process, as long as you have a comprehensive, well thought out strategy, HubSpot can get you to your online sales funnel goals.

Cons: The free options are nice for starters and the Basic level is a good step up. However, once you go beyond HubSpot's Basic level price point (calculated on a monthly basis), it gets quite pricey for smaller and local business entities.

Overall: I love that I can recommend HubSpot to clients of all shapes and sizes. It's a great platform with good supports in place. The UX/UI design is excellent and even the most novice users seem to be able to navigate the site fairly easily. That makes my life as a consultant that much easier, I can focus on the foundations of a good marketing system and sales funnel, and give clients a detailed overview without the hassle needing to create a tutorial program for every facets of the system from A to Z.

Pros: As a user of this software, I found that keeping our Twitter feed filled with interesting content was a breeze! Instead of "wasting" time every day on social media (not my main job function), I was able to sit down once a week, plan out the content for the coming week, schedule and queue it up, and forget about it. Love the software!

Cons: Recycling content was not as easy as I would have liked. Looking back a few months, I'd find content to reshare, but reusing that content took a bit of time, instead of just a click of a button as I would have imagined.

Overall: Simple to use, easy to plan marketing campaigns across multiple social media platforms; also appreciated my browser plug-in so I could share content immediate whenever I found something interesting on Twitter.

Pros: I like that as a marketer you can brainstorm, collaborate, edit and publish content easily. I also like that the sales and marketing tools are all in one area with a simple click in the corner to switch back and forth. The social media publishing tool is easy to understand and the reporting is basic enough for simple reports. They are always listening to customer ideas and improving the software!

Cons: At times it can be a bit buggy and reporting isn't always quick to up date. Customer support is helpful and it's easy to get a hold of them but they aren't always able to find a solution right away and most of the time have to follow up via while you wait.

Pros: HBubspot is easy to use, very intuitive and new users pick it up very quickly. The auto enrich functions are great and cut down on data entry. When you add a user by email and name it searches out the company and populates the information automatically.

The ingratiation with google mail is great. tracking emails in and out and being able to see if the recipient has opened the message makes it much easier for my sales people to know when to follow up on communications.

The sales sequences are great. line up a number of emails and calls scheduled and add leads as they come in. the system fires off the emails on schedule and reminds you to follow up with calls.

Cons: Some of the search functions are a bit questionable and unclear. .
the pipeline report in the basic version is not what i am used to for seeing the funnel report. and it omits areas of the pipeline if they are less than a certain percentage of the full pipeline.. i do not care for that

Overall: much easier tracking of customer interaction and leads. The automation of task reminders and tracking deals on the pipeline.

Pros: Everything is under one roof, including our website. We have CTA's, a file manager, our CRM, social media tools, landing pages, conversion tracking, forms...it's all under one login and works together.

Cons: I can be a little complex, but if you take it one bite at a time, you'll do great. LEARN IT. I have no complaints.

Overall: I learned SO much about marketing. They have an entire department dedicated to making you a better marketer that understands their tools. It's incredible how much they love their customers.

I have tried this out briefly and it seems great but it doesn't personalize posts very well.

Pros: I like that it posts things for you on multiple accounts without having to do too much set up work in the beginning.

Cons: I don't like that it seems robotic when posting for you and doesn't give much of an opportunity to personalize posts.

Overall: Automatic posting to save time.

Pros: The social media analytics are great, particularly for website use. It is very helpful to see everything that is done on our website.

Cons: Constructing creative emails can be difficult, they seem to require coding knowledge, which makes it harder to be creative.

Pros: I love being able to learn more about email marketing through the software's academy. I also enjoy the ease of use when designing email layouts.

Cons: I wish you could change a template without the system also changing every email that's attached to the template.

Pros: SAVES TIME! I am not a marketing person but it is my responsibility for my company. I tend to take way to long to create and publish content. Hubspot has several tools to help me get it "on paper" and online quickly and consistently.

Cons: Articles written for blogging are posted to my company page on Hubspot's site rather than on my business's website.

Overall: Time savings. Content. SEO tools.

It is a great solution. Just very expensive and similar functionality can be found elsewhere.

Pros: It has a suite that is easy to navigate that is functional and great to use. The overall automation is very smooth and the wealth of knowledge held by Hubspot is astounding.

Cons: It is so expensive and similar features and functionalities can be found elsewhere for less money. It is a great value though.

Pros: This software is very user-friendly and saves an immense amount of time by automating parts of the marketing funnel

Cons: I wish there were more integrations between HubSpot and analytics programs, like Tableau. The reporting feature is great, but I prefer making my own reports.

Pros: Everything is linked. The forms, landing pages, the images. You know where everything is being used.

Cons: This isn't really a con, but a small package for small businesses. This would help get more clients into the system and see the benefits. Then the customer could grow within HubSpot.

Overall: Everything for marketing to clients in one place. It includes social media managing, emailers, blog, landing pages. More people should use it.

Pros: Comprehensive inbound marketing suite that is easy to use and helps effectively improve marketing generating more leads.

Pros: The best part is that the cost is less than salesforce. Feature wise it is almost on par with salesforce. It has everything required to make the sales process perfect & organised.

Cons: The UI needs improvement. Its a little cumbersome to operate and learn. Many features are available but need proper training & help.

Overall: I could better organise my sales calls & followups.

Pros: Unfortunately for this really good company time seems to have passed them by. I read everything HubSpot wrote and went twice to a worldwide event - but they don't have much new to say for the SME and others out there are taking over the field.

Cons: Because I loved what I had learned from them I steered our company to a year long, very expensive contract, what I found was a system based on the old days when our tech wasn't as modular and people just wanted a website that works - the basic problem is that they want to own your web turf - they just don't play well with others.

As a modern innovative company we are agile and our software comes and goes according to need - that was not an environment that HubSpot wanted to support - as they are based on the concept that you host your website with them as well.

Its been a while now and we've moved on - its possible some of this has been fixed but I am sceptical they will ever completely overcome these roots. Old school doesn't win out in an agile world.

Overall: I love Capteera - I am NOT a review writer, but sometimes the public just needs to know that something in our innovative world works really well. Alternatively I feel responsible for helping others avoid what has been a bad/disappointing.

Pros: It is an excellent platform with all marketing features you can think of, it also comes with a CRM, so perfect integration with sales as well!

Cons: I think sometimes the support staff doesn't seem to be knowledgeable, to the point that I feel like I know more about HubSpot than them, so they're not as useful in helping me with my issues.

Overall: Real business benefits, for example, increase in traffic, leads, sales.

Pros: Very user-centric. It's a full solution, integrate your sales funnel and marketing campaigns as well as your website. All the stats can be connected there. If you have trouble call your support engineers. I believe they're on 24 hrs.

Cons: Because they update and change the software so much, there ARE bugs. But this is a good thing because their support team is allllways on call ready to knock them out. I haven't had issues where they don't reach out when it's been resolved, or been able to take care of it on the spot.

Pros: Easy to analyse the important metrics like traffic and leads when it comes to managing your online presence for your business. All information is shown on an easy to use dashboard. Also has some other great features that help you achieve these metrics such as search optimisation tool, keyword information and suggestions for when you are writing content.

Also integrates with most CRM's easily - which is great. It's pretty flexible and covers a wide range of things many people in the team need access to.

Cons: It's not that easy to pick up quickly and it did take quite a lot of time to get the team up to speed and trained up on how to use this. If you're a really small marketing team with a small budget this might not be the best option for you.
