Pros: What I like most about WebPT is the overall ease starting this service as a new graduate. Plenty of options to pick from for outcome measure and customization of templets.

Cons: I wish there was more customizable options for the home exercise component. Also having more exercises to pick from. The current list is limited.

Easy to use and customer support is very responsive.

Pros: I have used the software for one year and have found it to be very user friendly for a beginner like myself.

Cons: Sometimes the integration with Therabill doesn't seem to work as seamlessly as it should but for the most part it works very well.

Pros: It is very intuitive. Easy to learn and access information. SOAP notes are very quick and efficient. Customer service has been prompt and helpful.

Cons: The HEP program is clunky and difficult to use. We work around it by scanning in paper copies of TEs.

Overall: Easy and efficient documentation cutting down on documentation time. Easy process to enter charges in daily notes. Easy access to notes spanning different office locations which is convenient for therapists working in multiple locations.

WebPT is so user friendly and as a front desk worker it is the number one thing I look for.

Pros: It is extremely user friendly. Everything I need to use is easily accessible or in a logical spot. With the new update I also like the addition of the blue i's for short cuts to useful information. I use this program at least 8 hours a day and sometimes even 12 hours. If a program isn't user friendly it effects my entire job and therefore patient interaction. With WebPT it makes patient interaction timely, and therefore impresses patients, and makes them trust that we know how to help them.

Cons: If I would have to answer this question, the only thing I can think of is that when I need to call tech support it is usually due to wrong visit counts or used authorized visits. This is extremely important so that I can keep the patient informed if we are running out of insurance visits, and authorized visits ensures we get paid for our services. We have a very caring staff, but we can't give away all our services for free or we won't make it as an office.

Overall: An all inclusive program that is user friendly and allows me to do my job in a timely yet professional manner.

I started using WebPT when I started my private ST/OT practice. I needed a Medicare compliant EHR.

Pros: WebPT does the heavy lifting for me. They submit information to Medicare on my behalf, send my charges to my billing software, allow me to fax directly from the system, and so much more!

Cons: It is not as tailored to and customizable for SLPs as I would like, and changes to that are slow in processing.

Overall: Sanity, simplicity, assurance.

Overall: WebPT was an amazing system I used at the rehabilitation facility I worked at. The staff has said WebPT has helped them remain compliant, as it makes sure you follow all guidelines for documentation and you have to do that in order to stay compliant. This level of compliance security has helped incredibly. In two separate audits (one for Medicare and one for Medicaid), representatives asked the team to provide their documentation for review. However, once I informed the reps that we used WebPT, the representatives automatically assumed they were compliant. The Medicaid rep even went so far as to say, Oh, if you use WebPT, we know your paperwork is in order.
Additionally, Doctors love the reports we send them. He said. The level of credibility helped us built close bonds with local physicians has even led to opportunities to join those providers networks. Very great systems I had no complaints.

Pros: The ease of entering all the info through the patients account and the reports that WebPT generates.

Cons: there are some reports that we had with our old software that were very helpful and could use. Doctor referral list for all users, appointment list (includes all future appts for all patients), etc.

Overall: WebPT has opened our eyes to lots of policies and procedures we might not always know about without them requiring them to be done. They customer service is always soooooo nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Recommendations to other buyers: Overall I think it's great. User friendly and easy to tech new employees how to use.

Cons: since it is internet based, if we lose our internet connection, we are at a standstill.

Overall: When I started working in this office, we were still using paper charts and a had written scheduling book. When we moved into the electronic age and joined up with WebPT, we were a little nervous - but were quickly surprised and very pleased how easy it was to use WebPT and now I can't imagine not having it! I love that there are always new things added and improvements made that aid in the ease of use. My experience with the customer service/support staff has always been positive - everyone is always very helpful.

Cons: How it tracks auths and scripts

Overall: Overall, for the front desk use I think it's great with scheduling and everything. The only thing I wish was better was how it keeps track of scripts and auths. I wish it would also keep track of how many visits have been used AND expiration date - as far as I know- and can see it- it only keeps track of expiration dates.

Pros: The flow of the software. Very easy to understand. The many alerts that keep track of insurance requirements. The knowledge of the company, when it comes to changes in the Rehab world. They seem to always have some who is trained/schooled in the latest updates.

Cons: I can't think of any at this time.

Overall: I have been using WebPT for over 5years. When I switched jobs, over 1 1/2 years ago, the company I interviewed with, was looking for new software. I told them I would take the job if they changed their software to WebPT. They did! They are extremely happy they changed to WebPT.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would differently recommend it to all Rehab Companies.

Pros: It is easy to use and navigate. It allows you to fax and find doctors easily. The customer service is excellent. Web PT works hard on progressing and improving there product so it is easier for us as Physical Therapists.

Cons: The home exercise program is hard to find the right exercise. It would be good if you could add your own because either I can't find them or the one I want are not there.

Overall: Every time I call for Web PT they have been very helpful and have figured out my issue. Thera bill on the other hand could use some help with customer service from Web PT.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have Thera bill learn customer service from your Web PT guys. If thera bill and Web PT talked back and forth better it would also help

Cons: It often logs completely off when changing between clinics

Overall: We've been using WebPT since we brought billing back in house, haven't had many issues but when we do, one simple call to customer service and it's usually taken care of before hanging up, if not, they contact me shortly with a resolution.

Pros: Fantastic web based platform for documentation--easy access from anywhere! Easy to navigate and customize to make your documentation faster while still keeping it compliant.

Cons: The only thing I wish could be a bit better is the flow sheets that are used for tracking exercises and minutes spent on each activity. They are a bit more time consuming overall compared to the actual SOAP note itself but at least give you a great platform for being descriptive and compliant.

Overall: I have been using WebPT for just shy of 1 year now and I honeslty couldn't be more impressed with this platform! Not only does it provide you with a fantastic web based documentation system but the Marketplace will also provide you with a way to purchase awesome rehab equipment and supplies at a great discount compared to other avenues of purchasing! I've had great experiences with the company as far as customer service goes too! There is always a very prompt response to any of my questions or concerns and I feel like there is always someone at the corporate office for WebPT that has my back! A truly great platform for any physical therapy clinic!

Comments: WebPT was incredibly easy to transition to from our old program. There are some scheduling tracking options we wished we had but it is by far the easiest system we have used to keep both the front desk and PT's on track. We recommend to everyone.

Overall: WebPT is the whole package: innovative software and strong support. In the first year of our physical therapy practice, we used a different EMR company. While their intentions were good, the follow through was severely lacking. It became nearly impossible to contact anyone by email, fax or phone. We made the switch to WebPt in the hope that customer service would be better. We were (and continue to be) amazed by their support. I strongly recommend them.

Pros: It incorporates regulations such as PQRS, etc.

Cons: It takes waa ay yy toooooo long to document anything. Too many tabs. A lot of redundancy. Not very voice to text compatible.

Overall: WebPT is great because there is no need to purchase software, etc. WebPT is VERY labor intensive compared to other PT documentation systems. The upside is that you can count on WebPT to implement requirements into the software to help ensure compliance with Medicare, etc. I have considered leaving WebPT because it is so very time consuming to use as a documentation system. I wish it were more voice to text friendly with fewer tabs.

Recommendations to other buyers: It would be great if a clinician could personalize templates for documentation that would still be sure to include the required segments.

Comments: I scheduled a free demonstration for 9:00 am today and was told that I would receive a call from the presenter. Received a confirmation email this morning just prior to 9:00 but no phone call. At 9:30 I more closely read the confirmation email which had instructions for me to call in and enter a meeting access code. I called customer service informing them of my confusion and to request another appointment. I was told that the presenter tried to call me but there was not answer. I explained that the confirmation email instructed me to call into the meeting and so I asked whether or not I need to call in or will I receive a call. The customer service person insisted that I will not need to call in but that the presenter will call me. So I agreed to a rescheduled presentation for tomorrow. Soon after I received a new email confirming my rescheduled appointment and once again given instructions to call in and provide an access code. I again called and spoke to the same woman and read her the new email I had just received but again she insisted that I would be called. By then I received an email response from the presenter who I messaged regarding the missed appointment and he wrote that he sent me the confirmation email at 9:00 but did not call until 10 minutes later (which I did not receive). By that time I told the woman to just cancel the appointment and that I would go with another EMR company. Very disappointing lack of customer service and questionable honesty. Not the kind of people I want to do business with.

Pros: The reports mostly missed notes.

Cons: The fact that we as office personnel cannot modify or amend a doctor or diagnosis once the note has been completed.

Overall: We've had 2 other EMR systems and were pleased but once we started using WebPT, we would not want to use any other system. It is so user-friendly and offers many features we were looking for with our company.

Pros: Detail-packed features usually come at the cost of a user-friendly, clean appearance but WebPT nails this. It is so feature rich but so tidy that you don't get overwhelmed by buttons and links and fields.

Cons: NOTHING!!!!!!

Overall: WebPT has not only saved our clinic from the woes of paper charts, but provided a top-notch education to our staff in regards to best practices, changes on the healthcare scene, and how to streamline our processes and reach out to our patients in an effective way. WebPT's staff is incredible: they're not only helpful but they are engaged in their work and beaming with enthusiasm. Many other softwares are seriously lacking in one aspect or another, but WebPT is the total package, providing excellent tools for both front desk staff and clinical staff. Compliance is something we used to fear and stress over, but not anymore - WebPT has our backs with constant education, alerts and tools that let you know when to change, double-check or add something so our notes, authorizations and prescriptions are always spot-on. You really will not find a better software or support system for your clinic.

Comments: We've been working with WebPT for several years now and have implemented the software in about a dozen clinics. What I love about WebPT is the user-friendly interface and the flow of the template. Also, we have always had great customer service from their team. In the future, we are hopeful to see integration solutions with other PM systems as well as some customization options for the templates. WebPT is our "go-to" solution and the system we recommend to others.

Overall: We have been using WebPT for 3 years. From implementation it has been a smooth transition and the WebPT support staff has been nothing short of amazing. The following is a breakdown of our experience:

The Cons (if you can call them that): We found the flow sheet and home exercise aspect very cumbersome and not user friendly and from the get go decided to avoid it all together. For our clinic it probably works better as we still use a 1 page written flow sheet for our daily treatments. We do not utilize our EMR while treating patients so having flow sheets may be old fashioned but still works well. When our patient is discharged we just scan the flow sheet and any home exercises given to our patients into the eDocs. In addition, we are not currently using WebPT's billing software as we started before they developed the program. We started with Kareo on WebPT's recommendation, and it has sufficed. I would say there were more growing pains with Kareo in the beginning, but now we are managing fine. I think in the not too distant future we will be looking to transition to the WebPT platform.

Pros: WebPT is VERY user friendly, our staff adjusted very fast and has not only embraced the implementation but has prospered since using it. Average daily notes take 2 minutes and evaluations approximately 10 minutes. Our productivity has increased throughout our clinic as well decreasing internal errors especially with billing. WebPT is ALWAYS up to date with any changes coming to the profession from ICD10 to PQRS. In addition, I find the webinars very relevant to private practice PT. WebPT is dedicated to the PT profession as a whole and strongly supports the APTA. Customer service is paramount when implementing any EMR system and WebPT excels in this, but what is more impressive is that the outstanding customer service continues every day whether being a new customer or being 3 years in.

I think what best defines a company is how it responds to a problem or error. My clinic, unfortunately, had a significant PQRS reporting problem that was 100% WebPT's error. While being frustrated with the error (and let's be honest - PQRS in general) the WebPT staff starting with Heidi Jannenga, CEO who personally called and addressed the situation, took full responsibility and made no excuses. Within 1 week we had a resolution and plan in place - are you kidding me - 1 week - amazing! As a result of that, I will always be an advocate of WebPT!

Overall: clinic owner for 20 years I have stayed on the cutting edge of electronic data and records. We have been paperless for 15 years!!! Web PT made that effort really pay off with greater efficiency in billing, scheduling and tracking the progress of the clinic and its individuals. I recommend it to anyone looking to improve their advantage

Pros: What I like most is that the information is readily available. The system is user friendly. I am not a computer wizard by far.

Cons: The fact that I need to contact Web PT to d/c cases of people who scheduled and then decided not to come to Physical Therapy. Please don't get me wrong Web PT always handles my requests ASAP.

Overall: At our office I started using Web PT and there was no one here physically to train us. We just dug in and started to input information. Web PT was easy to maneuver.

Recommendations to other buyers: Any office who is looking for a program needs to give Web PT a try. As far as value, I am unable to answer since I do not know the cost. However, I would have to say it must be well worth the cost!

Pros: It is extremely cost effective for a single practitioner to use without expensive monthly over head. I use the built in assessment and scoring often so that has been helpful.

Cons: The name of the company isolates that this may only be a PT product and with expansion of the name may increase more users.

Overall: I have had Web PT for nearly 4 years in my private pediatric occupational therapy clinic. The ease of completing notes with thorough information with the pre loaded templates of numerous assessments has been instrumental to my documentation. The ease of this EMR system and the sensitivities to use with pediatric occupational therapy for a single practitioner has been wonderful. It is efficient, effective, and the customer service has addressed any issues I have experienced the same day. I have referred other therapists to use it and they have reported the same success.

Recommendations to other buyers: Again to reiterate the above to consider the name change to reflect the capabilities of OT usage.

Pros: The documentation works well with voice recognition and is very easy to use on daily and progress notes. The fax function works very well and appointment reminders is a nice feature.

Cons: We do UB04 billing for Medicare and the system took some work around to get through this. It is a Beta program for WebPT.

Overall: Overall things went very smoothly in transition. The training in the billing office was a little light . The documentation portion training is very good and the system is very user friendly and intuitive.

Cons: The name!! We have PT's, OT's and SLP's that use WebPT on a daily basis.

Pros: The numerous features. I utilize nearly all of the many features it has, such as the claims feed report, reminder log and fax log.

Comments: WebPT has made it easier to manage 1) the patient load per therapist, 2) the number of new patients we can take on each week and still provide needed appointments for existing patients, 3) the clinic schedule from anywhere you have an internet connection, 4) requests for patient records. The list goes on and on. If you are not using WebPT at your clinic, at the very least, you need to take a look at it.

Pros:

Comments: Pros- therapy notes and flow sheets are relatively easy to use. Doesn't give good information on how to close charts if all info isn't as required ie PQRS reporting. Flow sheets don't save info unless save as draft pressed first.
Cons- reporting features are terrible in that small batch size, service crash with large reports, only macrolevel reporting available and detailed reporting requires lots of extra effort. Data format is not excel friendly. Customer service is EXTREMELY slow...may take up to 3 days to respond to issues. VERY SLOW to make improvements on poor features/ issues.

Comments: The goals section needs to have a DATE SET and specified DEADLINE DATE. As it is, the original date a goal was set is very unclear especially for a patient after several progress notes. To determine, you must manually go back through records. A color coordinated system for a deadline date would work best. Example: A patient is projected to achieve 160 degrees of shoulder flexion in 6 weeks with deadline of 4/12/15. Two weeks prior to the deadline the goal test should be yellow to warn the deadline is coming up. One week prior the deadline date should be red to signal a fast approaching deadline. If not achieved by that point, an option should be available to EXTEND the goal, such as by two weeks. The extended goal date would be an added text box below so that it is clear how much longer than the original goal the extended goal is beyond. This type of system I feel is critical to highlighting goals set for patients while promoting best outcomes in an efficient manner. Please respond if this is currently being addressed.

Comments: We have been using Web PT for over 2 years, it is user friendly, stays current and responsive to the rapid changes within the market place. Our company has used 2 other documentation systems in the past, but they can't even compare to Web PT.

The only recommendation I would have is to find a compatible billing soft ware group. The current choices are limited @ best, and do not excel to the same standards as Web PT. I feel this detracts from the quality of your product.

Comments: I have used other on line services but Web PT out shines them all. It is very easy to get around in, clean up mistakes, customer service is quick, easy, and understandable. I do have one complaint and that is sometimes you can not save the information you have put in until you enter all required information. When you do not have a piece of info you loose what you do have and have to put it in again later. As we all know it may take days to get one piece of information. I hope this will be changed in the future. Other than this one problem it is great software.

Comments: I don't have experience with other EMR systems, and I hate computers. Your system is very intuitive and that fact that it doesn't allow me to finalize until the note "follows the rules" is a God send.

Comments: I appreciate this software and what it does at it provides pop up goals and I do not need to re-write them. It alerts me when I need to do a G-code and when I need authorization. It also calls my patient and gives them a reminder phone call, which is wonderful.
I think they could improve their in-software dictionary to include words that are used in the medical profession, so I do not need to keep adding simple words suchs as "flexors or excursion".

Comments: We viewed 15 demos before we picked WebPT. We needed to find an EMR that worked for our front desk staff, our clinical staff and management - we found it in WebPT. From the initial training, moving our patient information from our old EMR to WebPT, answering ALL of our questions, to our current setup - WebPT has been incredible. WebPT is easy to use, quick and precise. It gives my clinical staff back valuable time to take care of our patients. Customer service is impeccable and each representative answers my questions on the first phone call without having to connect me to others! I would highly recommend WebPT to every PT/OT clinic. It is money well spent and has thoroughly enhanced our business.

Comments: After being an user of WebPT for 3 years now, I can say that it has lived up to our expectations. Our clinicians are extremely happy with the ease of use and final product the documentation system produces. From an office staff use, they also love the user-friendly features of the program. From an administrator's viewpoint, however, I wish we could obtain more needed reports (i.e. outcomes information) and an "in-house" practice management system. While I appreciate Kareo and their system, they are not as dedicated to the profession as WebPT is. In other words, they worry more about reporting on charges than on collections.

Comments: Web PT is just fabulous. We have a small practice and it is invaluable. We've been a Web PT customer for over 3 years now. Going electronic was very scary for all of us here, but it couldn't have gone any better. Web PT keeps up with all the current requirements for PT's and implements it seemlessly into the software. Whether it's PQRS or ICD-10, they are invaluable to our practice by keeping us compliant and up to date on the latest changes in the healthcare industry for physical therapists. We would be lost without it. It's a great system and very user friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any PT company.

Comments: They sell the product well on the demo and the clinicians liked what they saw. However if you have an EMR you are trying to get WebPT to intergrate, WebPT does not work. You end up registering the patient twice. It doesn't send medical records to the EMR, you print and scan them in.

Comments: They will tell you that you can get an evaluation done in about 7-10 minutes. Well, they lie! It will take you a minimum of 35 minutes to an hour. We have a PT about 1 year out of college so he is great with computers and it takes him 35 minutes at the very least. We have had it for about a year now and they will tell you it takes time, well I don't see any changes in the amount of time to get an eval or notes done any faster.

The customer service people I have talked with have been nice, but you will sometimes wait forever to get through or have to leave a message and wait for a call. If you are looking for an EMR database to help speed up time on notes, keep looking!
