Pros
Cost. The product is very competitively priced compared to other companies. This is before you realize that you are buying vaporware.
Cons
This company aggressively marketed us for our sales and inventory tracking needs. After 3 months of promising us that this software suite could meet ALL of our needs, they disappeared after they got their check. Basically $9,000 down the drain. They stopped returning phone calls once we ran into our first few hurdles. If you have a sales aspect to your inventory tracking needs, I would avoid this company at all cost.

EASY to Use.
Complete package that includes every facet of your business, not just one area. The CRM is more fully featured and easy to use that ACT or Goldmine, the PARTS module includes the entire life cycle from purchasing, to selling through QUOTES, consuming through SERVICE, or tracking on RMA. The SERVICE module has every single feature that a PSA should have and MORE. You can create any kind of contract you could possible imagine, track any type or lead, manage and automate your entire marketing and sales process, and so much more. There is unlimited custom fields, a searchable knowledgebase, and I could continue on and write a entire book if there was enough space to do so here. No, I don't work for Tigerpaw Sofware, but I sure wish I owned the company.

Feature RICH, EASY to use, advanced automation and workflow. I won a 2009 Jaguar car in 2009 because I doubled our company, automated our marketing, streamlined our sales process, and doubled our profit margin. Couldn't have done any of that without Tigerpaw Software. The only thing better than Tigerpaw Software's CRM+ is Tigerpaw Software the COMPANY.
Incredible customer support via an 800 number if you have a problem, but the software is so stable, so easy and intuitive to use, that you may never call them. However, if you do have a question or need help, you can get a friendly knowledgable person on the phone with almost no hold time, nearly every time, or you can create a service request online at their portal 24x7.
This company is 100% customer driven.

Pros
it adapts to your process and keeps everyone in your organization in line. From sales all the way down stream to service this software has helped us become more effective.
The CRM functionality is much better then ACT and the service and inventory modules are light-years better then what we have worked with in the past. The people I have worked with at Tigerpaw have been exceptional and extremely honest.

Navigation takes a little getting used to

Overall
This software has transformed my business. We always had a committment to provide a high level of customer service but Tigerpaw has helped us take this committment to a whole new level. Technicians are typically bad at paperwork and communication with customers and the office. Tigerpaw has filled in this gap so well with its workflow functionality that I cannot image what we did without it.

Pros
Consolidates and manages several business functions (leads, sales, ordering, job management, billing, repair).
Ability to write numerous custom reports with Crystal Reports.
Is an application, not a web page, so the user interface is more robust and powerful than web-based competition.
Cons
Does not support multiple separate physical warehouse locations.
Interface involves a LOT of clicking, lack of support for sorting lists and multiple selections.
Stock reports have their uses but we have developed a number of custom reports related to our business model.
System seems to be built more for IT Support Companies than AV companies. We have had to make adjustments to our procedures to better work within the software's limitations.
Overall
CRM+ is a large and complex system that can greatly benefit a company. However, that company must work within the framework of the software. Working outside of the software's design will result in less then satisfactory results.

Pros
Tigerpaw software has enabled us to automate many aspects of our business. Although it is a comprehensive tool, we have found that their guidance in its implementation has been one of the most valuable aspects of using the application.
Tigerpaw's support has proven to be the best developer support that I have had to date. Their attention to details is only enhanced by their use of the product themselves.
We joined their Client Advisory Group to provide input into the new product. Although we are new to their product, they have not only listened to our suggestions, but have enabled us to see the benefit of our participation by incorporating the "upgrades" that we saw as needed in their product into its newest version. This not only enables us to work better now, but gives us the confidence in knowing that should we need other features, we may see them instituted in our lifetimes. We have worked with others and made suggestions only to learn that it was "fluff" to appease us.
Cons
The program is so involved that it must be incorporated bit by bit. You cannot expect to buy the product and use all of its features within days. When you buy the product, they even advise you that you will need to view the training videos and attend their Q&As a number of times before you get the program to "work for you".
The database is always evolving, as a result, you may have to perform upgrades to your system every six months. The bad part is the new code to implement; the good part is that they do an excellent job of QA on their product BEFORE they release it to the "public." If you have issues with the implementation, they can assist you in installing it. We had issues when they OEM'd product for a portal. Now, they have created their own Client and Employee portals. They are more feature rich and will work on newer platforms. The only catch is that they are currently 32-bit and may require some "tweaking."
Overall
We have been pleased with the product. Initially, we were going to use the "other major PSA product" in the industry. We happened to deliberate and discuss it with a number of end users and found that the differentiating factor with Tigerpaw was their SUPPORT. That was what steered us from the 600 lb. gorilla to the Tiger.
We still have incorporate many aspects of Tigerpaw into our business, but in the meantime, have felt that we are truly benefitting from the use of the product. It has been working with our Kaseya interface smoothly. Now, we want to get it working with our Quickbooks. The calendar synchronizes well with our SBS 2008 (Exchange 2007) and communicates to our Blackberries, too! As with any product, it must be something that will fill a need before you consider buying it. If you run a Managed Service Desk or have an IT Support Business, it will help you to organize and promote your organization with less effort and better results. What more can you ask for?

Pros
I like the friendliness and uncluttered appearance. Visually appealing. Love the RMA process. Compared to other solutions, the layouts are easy to follow. The Tigerpaw Support team and the Sales team respond to the needs.
Cons
No granularity in the permissions field (security). Some of the features of permissions are misleading in how they actually work and what they actually affect. Updates are total reinstallations and not true updates.
Overall
Dependant upon the needs and granularity of the secrity settings, this software package rates an overall 4 out of 5 scale.

Pros
INVENTORY - we've tried other systems but Tigerpaw is the only system that provides the inventory control we need.
Customer Support and willingness to take recommendations and continually improve the product. From personal experience this is not something you will find from other CRM developers out there.

Many of the Cons we have are being addressed in release 11 that is set to come out.
CON's: Dispatch Board, Opportunities, Sales Forecasting again are all being addressed in the upcoming release...CANT WAIT!
Overall
Like all software packages we have tried there is always strengths and weaknesses with each. Tigerpaw is the best product we have found provides good inventory control, quoting, purchasing and service delivery functions needed. They also are the only company we have found that shows a true vested interested in providing, developing and improving a product to continue to help us succeed.

Pros
It is very "intuitive" and user friendly. From setup, to implementation, to operations. Nearly every feature is well thought out and follows logical thought patterns for every day people (not just programmer logic).
It is extremely flexible. The "master table" format allows for complete customization of the entire system. Because of this flexibility, it can be customized by novice users to accomplish nearly any business task. Our business has gone through two major operations "overhauls" in the last 7+ years and Tigerpaw has given us the flexibility to retain the same database and history while moving forward.
Tigerpaw CRM+ has never had a significant technical problem in the 7+ years we have used it. There have been a few minor errors, but they are quickly fixed by the highly competent, extremely professional, and refreshingly friendly support staff. 95% of our tech support calls have been "training calls" to learn how a particular features works and how to set it up.
Cons
There have not been any significant "negatives" that we have ever encountered with Tigerpaw. As a Managed Services Provider, providing our clients with the highest level of customer service is our greatest ambition and we "set the bar" very high. As such, we often feel disappointed in the customer service provided to us from other vendors. However, I can honestly say that Tigerpaw strives to excel at customer service! We are 100% satisfied with "Tigerpaw the CRM product" and "Tigerpaw the company."
Overall
Tigerpaw CRM+ is an excellent application. We originally reviewed Tigerpaw in September of 2002. The first time we saw the demo we were convinced that it was built to be the perfect solution for our business. As a former IT VAR/Integrator and a current Managed Services Provider, Tigerpaw has proven to us over and over that they are the best CRM available for our industry. Tigerpaw CRM+ handles all of our "operations" from new client acquisition, through the complete sales cycle, and on through the lifetime operations that we perform for our clients. We have a great relationship with many of the key players at Tigerpaw and we have found that they are a very professional and friendly group of people to work with. We also have many examples of how Tigerpaw has improved our productivity and our ability to handle more clients with fewer technicians.
Best of all, they don't compete against us in our industry!
I highly recommend Tigerpaw CRM+ over any other CRM out there!
