Pros: The Paymo setup is quite easy and transparent. In order to customize it for our needs, I found out that I could perhaps manipulate the hierarchy of clients / projects / task lists / tasks. Before doing so, I checked with their Support desk (live chat!) to make sure I wouldn't run into problems later on.
So now, we have a structure that fits our needs pretty well.

The application allows for many views (tables!) and reports.

Cons: For managing a team, it would be nice to have options to save filters, so that you can quickly jump from one view to another.

Some views are a bit too bland, making me feel a little lost on where to go.

Overall: Time tracking is a matter of discipline. Paymo is easy enough to use on a daily base, I had little to no trouble on adapting to the habit.

Comments: I have been using Paymo for a long time, A friend told me about it before that I was going insane with dealing with multiple clients, It surely can Easily find anything using the embedded search feature of it, I am glad to use it and do recommend everyone to try it for once, Customer service is super fast, Whenever I have any question I get answered within 24 hours.

Pros: Works well, does what it says it does.

Cons: Price went up recently, but still value for money.

Overall: I've used Paymo for the last 4 years for time tracking and invoicing of clients in freelance and work from home use. I don't use all of its features, but love that it has built in invoicing linked to paypal, can handle multiple currencies and makes recording my hours a breeze!

Cons: the panels could be more atractive.

Comments: I used Paymo for a month and the value for what you get is awesome because the packages are pretty cheap relative to other to other project management tools. However, that makes sense because Paymo does a lot but doesn't do anything fantastically. It is great to stay organized and have all of your information in one place but not for daily activity. There is a lot going on and it doesn't streamline project management as some other applications do.

Comments: Excellent support first off. Next, killer UI. Paymo presents a plethora of essential features while retaining shear simplicity in execution. From my consumer research, Paymo offers more function and value for less than the competitors. I have relied on Paymo to simplify and automate my accounting and invoicing with over a dozen clients for the last 3 years, and never had a single regret about the service in ANY way. Happy to compose a 5-star review for the app which empowers me as an entrepreneur.

Overall: Paymo is a great all in one Studio Management app. You can control every stage of a project production since the estimating process to the invoicing and payment.
The app works really fast and has many great functionalities. The Accounting tools let you keep track of every financial aspect of the projects, and the project management app is great for collaborating between teammates.
The only bad aspect i can find is pricing... although is not that expensive, they charge you 10usd for using the accounting app and 10 more if you want to use the gantt app.

Cons: - average price

Overall: I tested alot of time tracking service providers. This one is in my opinion the best - there are a lot of helpful features (invoicing, automatically generated payment reminders, performance measuring of employees, mobile app, estimations, expenses, defining working days, gant charts...), but they managed to keep the application easy to use. The price is standard for this class of business, but the service you get is great. There is also a very active and helpful support.

Pros: We have periodically tested out several other programs, but this one has been the most comprehensive product. Easy to use framework, great integrations. Helpful in tracking time spent on multiple clients throughout the day, and the ability with the ability to invoice. Great value for money.

Cons: Customize the names of invoice files with be a nice feature to add.

Overall: We have so many clients that use so many different products and softwares, etc. But this one is a great product. Used many softwares, and non have truly answers our needs. But the PaymoApp was the one who managed several of our needs. The "time tracking" is the best that we have used to control production. The metrics are just as important because of the management indicators. I strongly recommend.

Pros: The workflow. I enter data once at the top of the workflow - build out projects, tasks and subtasks. From there, I can estimate, budget, track. When it comes time to bill, one click and my customer has everything they need, including detailed time tracking information.

Cons: There are a lot of needs by different types of use cases. Paymo can't satisfy everything. Of the few details that _I_ personally would like to have, their support has always offered a useful alternative.

Overall: I am a remote freelancer. From day one, Paymo made planning, budgeting, organizing, and billing simple and straight forward.

Example:
I use it for project planning and task management. I didn't' even realize at the time, but using the built-in timer against each individual task made it so that I could report to my customer overall time on each high-level project and task. When it came time for the first billing, they wanted that level of detail, and got it w/o with the invoice, w/o having to ask. That makes me look VERY good in their eyes.

This is the sort of detail put into this product. Expect to be wowed.

Recommendations to other buyers: The free trial is generous. Give it a try for one billing cycle.

Overall: PaymoApp is an all in one project management application with time tracking, invoicing, and so much more features at very affordable prices.

I love the UI, indeed very user friendly. Their reports are far more better than the rest I have tried.

Overall, I'm so happy I found this application, since I was finding an alternative for the one we were using - Teamwork.

Pros: - Paymo comes with a nice desktop widget Paymo Timer (I'm using Paymo on mac) and another app called Paymo Plus which is really awesome. You can monitor absolutely everything you do with your computer and easily organise each task by drag&drop to each different project.
- Their subscription plans are really affordable.

Overall: I've worked about 9 years in a company writing down my daily tasks on a sheet of paper. It was a real nightmare. For my own little company I wanted to find an affordable, flexible and reliable solution to track down the time spend on different projects. We believe that being well organised with time is a major key to success. Time is money right? I've compared online apps like Paymo for quite some time and tested quite a few as well. Paymo has really all we need and it keeps improving. In the beginning when things were a little confusing, their support was always super reactive to help me out in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend Paymo.

Pros: ease of use, fit my workflow

Overall: I work as a freelancer in it, so tracking time and tasks for customers is essential, in every product i tried so far i find bugs or stuff which works not in that way i want to work. So i keep always looking for new tools.

With paymo it looks like i finally found one which fits me. A usable client for OS x and IOS was a must and so far i did not find any showstoppers and its pretty straight forward to track time and no delay tracking tasks ok they manage their tasks by themselves but other tools i have to wait 5 minutes to import them or their client is unusable or buggy.

Paymo is fast and has a simple workflow that is important for me, i don't need thousands of features and spend ours tracking time and tasks so it fits for me.

Only which i did not find yet are reoccurring tasks, that would be an improvement.

Overall i am really pleased with it so far, hope it stays like that.

Cons: It has sometimes problems with timetracking desktop app.

Overall: We've been using Paymo since a month for now. Thanks to it, we can now organize our work faster than before and check how much time we are in need for particular project with particular tasks. The report and invoices system are also very in need for us - it's a nice thing in relation to contact with our clients (simplifies some matters a lot).
I must also praise their tech-support. When I have any questions, I'm getting answers even within a few moments.

Cons: The worst thing we found in Paymo is about adaptation because its difference from others time tracking app we used before.

Pros: Nice modern layout, good time tracking. Project management features are great, can bill by fixed fee or time, or even a mixture. Shows you unbilled time which is great.

Cons: Invoices don't integrate with Xero, which makes them kind of pointless because I have to recreate them in Xero. They help to track billed/unbilled time, but lack of integration is a huge disappointment.

Overall: I've tried almost every time tracking app available, and while the timesheets and time tracking aren't the best of others, adding project tracking, costs, invoices etc... it makes it stand out from all others. It is the most complete package for sure. I really wish they built in integration to Xero (not sure why this was dropped, the answers on this integration are vague at best).

Recommendations to other buyers: Overall, I still think this is one of the best time/project tracking apps out there. I think the cost is a bit high (an extra $10/month) for invoicing, but you can't go wrong with Paymo.

Comments: We have a unique company that has to track our time very diligently. Paymo is the first all-inclusive tracking software we have found that works for us. Before, it took us three custom spreadsheets, two software applications and a lot of time to dump all of the data into yet another software application, to keep track of all of our times properly for all of our various client projects. I love that they also have an expense and invoice feature, as well as a quick start-and-stop stopwatch. We've tried several of the others that claim to be able to handle what we do, but they've fallen short every time. Paymo hasn't and we've been using them for several months. What I love most are the super easy to create and simple look of the reports you can create. They even have a link to send the report to the client, which is so useful for us when customers are curious about their bill. I can say this software is great for teams as big as ten employees (could be more, but I can't attest to that as we are a small company). We currently have 20 clients and several internal projects, and it handles all of them seamlessly. We can assign and set hours to our employees and color code each project so you can quickly see what has been taking the most amount of everyone's time.

Pros: The time tracking apps are awesome.

Cons: Pre scheduled cronograms would improve my capacity to preview future exceeded hours budget.

Overall: With Paymo I can analyze my entire company performance and analyze inside project progress.
Paymo allow me to control each project adding custom or pre-configured task-lists and tasks.

Overall: I'm freelancer creating websites and I was looking for perfect project management and time tracking solution. I've tried almost 30 different tools but none of them was good enough for me. So I've decided to use Paymo. It's simple and intuitive, you can track time, manage your projects and clients and create invoices. It's the only project management tool which has most of the features I need for managing my projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are freelancer with only few coworkers then don't look for another software. I did it and Paymo is at this time the best.

Pros: The ability to customize, create templates, and easily modify and share projects. I love the fact that Paymo is constantly improving and is very responsive to our needs and wishes for improvements.

Cons: The inability to integrate easily with other apps. This is the single largest thing holding Paymo back. Luckily, they are responsive and show efforts to make integration more widespread.

Overall: I've been using this product for a little less than a year and am 100% pleased with it so far. I've used a few other solutions that either had far too much or far too little or were priced out of my budget. I wanted a complete solution for a small business and Paymo delivers.

Recommendations to other buyers: Review all other software before choosing. Just because it works for my needs doesn't mean it'll work for yours.

Pros: Everything I listed in my experience, as well as the other features like team collaboration (that we haven't tried yet, but are going to in the coming months)

Cons: Without the invoice add-on, you only have the option to create one invoice per month...I wish it were at least 2 :(

Overall: For a few years, I've been using Paymo and it has become an essential part of project management for our business. We're able to keep our project, client and time reports organized, as well as files and invoices...yes they offer an easy invoicing system that integrates with the tasks and projects created very well. So, they've been good to us and are constantly improving to keep up with the needs of their customers!

Pros: What I like most is that is a everything you need is in front of you on the dashboard. This program logs your time that you worked on the project, project due dates, and your milestones with your company.

Cons: Not much to say here, it does what I need.

Overall: I was introduced to Paymo by my boss. He created my account and now I can see all the projects he wants me to do. I can't imagine an easier and more convenient program.

Overall: We have tried many different PM tools but Paymo finally helped us to systematize our workflow. The best thing thought is that it also helps to keep your budgets in a good shape an control cashflow. It has great interaction design, awesome support ¿ Great tool!

Overall: I was first introduced to Paymo because a client was using it already for their own internal business management logistics. As I became more familiar with its features and functionality, I began using it for my own projects.

Recommendations to other buyers: There aren't many tools that will give you 100% of what you're looking for or needing in an application. So, I recommend picking one that gets you as close as you can and then getting as familiar as possible with it so you can learn how to make more of it work for your needs.

Pros: Easy to use.
Intuitive
Dashboard customizable and with the principal information

Overall: Great program, I tested various software and no answer my management needs and control that intended, the PaymoApp was the one who managed.
Additionally the "time tracking" is the best we could find to control the production, running in the background, and only associate the task to the time it is automatically counted!

With time and use, the metrics become important management indicators!

I strongly recommend.

Pros: Easy to see any data graphically.

Cons: Nothing for now.

Overall: With Paymo I can control what time is spent on each type of project, in order to offer better service and subsequently adjust delivery times. Plus I avoid having to enter the time of my staff.

Recommendations to other buyers: We wait patiently Task Scheduling.

Comments: I tried software after software trying to find the right one that met my unique needs as a virtual assistant. It was painful. Paymo offers amazing features, such the ability to add projects that have a flat rate and/or budgeted hours, which is exactly what I need and could never seem elsewhere. I can easily keep track of tasks, projects, client invoices and tracking time. This is an extremely unique & versatile software that has proven to be invaluable to my company.

Comments: We are a human resources consulting firm. As such, we need to track any time worked for our clients in detail. Paymo is the perfect solution for us. The product helps every employee track time either online, through a widget, or via a smartphone. And, the time can easily be converted into reports and best of all invoices. It has been a huge time saver and a great way to keep an eye on our time spent on projects. The final piece we are waiting for is an integration with Quickbooks.

Comments: As a Health & Safety Consultancy Service we need to track client interaction and time worked on projects. We have been using Paymo and found it very user friendly and cost effective - we currently have 5 users and from a management perspective the snapshot of what people are working on is useful. The UI is self explanatory and visually grabbing. The level of customer support we have had to date has been excellent. We are looking forward to future developments.

Comments: Do the free trial to see why. You'll get an initial impression that compared to the feature rich apps of Wrike, Asana, Basecamp, Teamwork and many others that Paymo is fairly simple. It is but it has some very-well considered functionality around user permissions, pricing and invoice/report generation. The user interface again looks simple but works great.
For us, what's great about Paymo is:
1. Pricing. Great at $4.95 per user. That's a real per user price. 1 user = $4.95 per month.
2. Additional users (we use many collaborators) can then be switched on/off as required.
3. Good user permissions (switch on/off admin, tasks, projects, invoices, estimates, expenses)
4. The general focus on user performance metrics/utilization (with a good dashboard + individual user metrics by hour, month, project and billed/unbilled time.
5. Fantastic, customisable client reporting and wrap-up invoicing with unlimited free client access to these features*.
*The invoice module ($9.95/month per account - which is great way to charge for this) monitors unbilled time with a one-click invoice generation button. That's a great feature whether you use Paymo to send (and receive payments) or not.
In similar fashion, the client report generation tool is cleverly set-up so you can group time/costs by client, user, projects, task lists, tasks, time, day or billed status as well as include the original budgets by project or tasks. For us that's a massive time-saver and a feature-set that not available or so quick and easy to manage on any other PM system we've tried.
The con's on the present feature list (hence why I've only rated Paymo 4 stars overall):
1. There's no easy to see/use UI control over project/task timescales.
2. Equally, no-billable tasks/reminders don't sit as well in the system.
3. Updates aren't realtime, another great Wrike feature.
4. There's no client/guest access to the project details (which I would have thought Paymo could add easily, by making making the default user status 'view only'.
5. Generally speaking Paymo isn't a slick or richly featured as other leading-class PMs.
However, as of May 4th 2016 there's a promise on Paymo's pricing page that Gantt charts, task scheduling and progress tracking is 'coming soon'. Would be great to know roughly what that means Paymo but those three features even if relatively simple but robust (in Paymo's style) would considerably round-off and build-out the Paymo App experience.

Comments: This is my first time working with paymo and I must say things will never be the same, this is the easiest way to keep track of my working hours, and my payments, it doesnt help only my contractor but me and I like that very much.

Pro - the notification system rules, I love how for each task that im assigned I get an email i like how it keep me in track, soo help full.

Cons- at first its a little trick to find out what is what but with time you get to know.

Comments: I've been a freelance graphic designer for over 10 years now, and hands-down...Paymo is the best. I have used them for all these years because of it's ease of use, feature-richness, and customization abilities. The time-tracking ability is my most used portion of this online software. I've tried many of them before Paymo, and I always kept coming back to them. A huge plus also is the ability to offer custom invoicing and online payment processing directly to my PayPal account. I have also submitted numerous questions that have always been answered within 24 hours, and have always been resolved!! I have not been able to find a single thing wrong with using Paymo, and will continue to use it for my business, as well as recommend it to other persons or businesses that I come across!

Comments: I have been using Paymo for about a year now and it has changed my productivity for the better. As a Freelance PA/Project Manager I work for different companies so it is imperative that I can track my time spent on different projects and tasks. Paymo does this easily and with no fuss.

Paymo is easy to set up and use. The free trial is perfect for trying out Paymo. I did just that initially and was so impressed that I had to continue with the paid version of Paymo.

Once Paymo had been set up and customised I could just log onto Paymo each day and easily track time. It is easy to switch between projects too. Paymo has an overview of hours worked, unbilled amounts, milestones, discussions etc so easy to see at a glance progress per project.

At the end of each month I use Paymo to easily invoice my clients. Just one click of a button to invoice unbilled time, check the invoice and send by email! Easy. Paymo then keeps a list of invoices sent out which can be updated to show status. The invoice itself looks very professional and I easily added a company logo. There are custom settings to save the text to be used when sending out invoices.

Customer Service is impeccable, on the few occasions I have needed to ask a question I have had fast, helpful responses and have always been dealt with very professionally and quickly.

I highly recommend using this project management software, it is time saving, quick, easy and can do an awful lot to assist with the admin side of running a business. I wouldn't be without it! Thank you Paymo!

Comments: I've been testing and using different platforms during the last years, including planbox, wrike, producteev, activecollab, asana and and others (some years ago I even build my own PM application). But Paymo absolutely stands out, it has a complete set of feature, much more cheaper than wrike and with an awesome support. The application is fast, intuitive, includes time tracking per task, and even a desktop application for unnatended time tracking. The only missing feature frmo my point of view is know what the other team member is working on! But you know what? Is easy to request new features to developers! they are always listening for suggestions! this is the best and most important piece of software for project management. PERIOD!

Comments: We have found this platform when we were watching for some project management system with an easy to use team callendar feature. And believe me or not it is not so obvious to found this type of tool. Of course there are some Gantt Chart tools etc. but we need an easy and quick way to see and interact with our team's members callendars. Paymo does it quite good. By all means, for me, Paymo is still on early stage of features, but eaven now this is very usefull for our company.

Comments: The Paymo app delivers what it promises. As a free-lance graphic designer, I needed a tool that could perform multiple tasks at the same level as a much larger organization: project management, time tracking, estimating and invoicing . The Paymo app allows me to easily perform these tasks and present professional customizable documents to my clients that align with my brand. Feature highlights: The tracked time easily converts into an invoice that can be emailed to a client. The invoice can be synced to a pay pal account allowing the client to pay the bill online. The invoice includes a built in status alert which allows you to track client activity on the invoice. Another benefit of the app is it can be used on multiple platforms. I have used the system for several months now (on my windows, android, and apple devices) and only once had to contact tech support. When I did I received help in a timely manner. I highly recommend this app.

Comments: I love this software mostly because as an independent contractor and self-employed consultant, I have to make every dollar count. Being able to track billable time, compile an invoice with that data, and keep track of which invoices have been sent out, paid, or are just drafts keeps me organized while I can focus on more important tasks. The only problem I have with Paymo is that you can only set up a project where you bill price per hour. There is no feature that allows me to differentiate a price per project fee, so when I plug everything into their invoices, I have to be careful that I don't over-bill or under-bill a client. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Paymo!

Comments: I recently became a paid user of Paymo - using it about a month now -- I like it. The set up was really easy (started off with the free trial) - they give you a walk through tutorial that is really helpful. The user interface it pretty intuitive and I will say friendly. I did have a question that I posted to their chat support - they answered by the next morning. From what I understand they recently went through a big UI over haul, so I think as they get feedback they improve more and more -- which is nice to know they are working on things. The only issue I had was -- I was hoping there was a way to set an hourly rate per client. They only offer it per project currently, which is not a big deal, easily worked around. But the BEST FEATURE is the dashboard -- I LOVE seeing how I am progressing in my hours for the week/month. So helpful. I think it is a really good option for the price.

Comments: After trying over 10 apps, i chose Paymo. Easy to use, covered everything i needed (unlimited clientes, projects, tasks, reports and monitor time both on laptop and ios app) and the pricing is affordable for an independent or start-up. I also found that I could translate invoices and estimates into my local language with no hassle. I highly recommended to those starting solo or small businesses. Trust me, 4.95/mth for unlimited projects is hard to find elsewhere.

Cons: Rollover time from project to project. I work on different projects for the same client and sometimes they ask to take time budgeted from one to the other and i can do it manually but would love to be able to just transfer that time with a click!

One of the most important features for me was an easy way to track my time while working on various products. Comments: I have used GP Dynamics, CRM and other software to manage budgeted hours and billing. For a fraction of the cost, Paymo far exceeds my expectations. I couldn't recommend this product more highly. I very rarely, if ever experience technical difficulties. When I have encountered issues, my help request was promptly addressed and solved within an hour. When I inquired about a specific reporting function, initially I was told Paymo did not have that reporting capability. However, I wasn't surprised to see that it was added as a new feature with the next development team update.

Comments: I almost can't believe, but it's been more than 5 years since we use Paymo! Back than I was looking for an app that would allow me to bring time tracking, some basic project management and invoicing to one place. Paymo covers this flow perfectly. Time can be tracked in different ways and time entries can be invoiced automatically. Statuses for time entries mean, that I can issue an invoice at any time without worrying about having to recalculate or check the account when I issue the next one.

Comments: As a Virtual Assistant for many different clients on a day to day changing basis for taskzz.com, I have found the Paymo app invaluable. I started with the free version but as my client list grew so did my needs. Paymo provides time sheets detailed reports and a timer I can set for individual projects that automatically adds the time to my sheets and reports. (and I can also track and get paid for my own time) Right now I have seven different clients I preform different tasks for every day I can label the tasks and provide the client with notes and reports as to what the time was used for. It¿s so easy to use! It frees up time for me to focus on the projects instead of trying to keep the time on a difficult to understand spread sheet. Thanks Paymo!!!

Comments: I generally hate time sheets & invoicing. I was very happy when I found Paymo ¿ it made things bearable.
The widget is very easy to use, it stays unobtrusive in the menu bar.
Reports are easy to generate, very flexible and very neat & easy to share with clients ¿ or internally.

Collateral pro: it helps fight procrastination ¿ when the time-tracker is ticking I know I need to focus, and when I want to wonder-off work, I have to at least stop the timer, so I'm at least aware that I'm side-stepping :)

I send a full report with every invoice. It works and looks great. The generated invoices and reports look fantastic also. Great functionality and great design.

Comments: Paymo has been essential in helping me organise and plan the start up of my new business. I love that I can create task lists for a new client project and then log my design time for each task using the time tracker widget, which in turn gives me a detailed overview of how I'm using my time.
Also, my clients speak either English or French, so the fact that Paymo has template invoices available in a range of languages (including English and French) has been super helpful!

Comments: I'm the director of SpaceOffice, a small (but very busy) architectural practice. It goes without saying, tracking time spent on individual projects is essential. Paymo makes it a breeze

Pros: Clean and intuitive interface. Plenty of functionality. Very easy to deploy.

Con: On the Windows version, the Paymo timer can track against 'file in use'. If you use a project reference in every filename (as we do) it makes it a breeze to apportion time to each project. The Mac version only tracks against 'app in use' and that doesn't help when I am (often times) working on several AutoCAD drawings (files) at the same time. Hopefully something Paymo is working on. That's the only niggle I have, otherwise it's great!

Comments: I am using this app for allready 3 years. For small monthy fee you get full featured time tracking app, with so many features you can not use them all. I like that the app is really multiplatform, but i woul expect better responsivnes of website version of the app on mobile devices.

App is intuitive, but once i needed some guidence so i wrote to support and got satisfying answer very quickly...

Comments: I have been using Paymo since it's beta version. I have not found any other software with all the features Paymo has. The time tracking feature allows me to bill my clients accurately and keeps my projects on track.

Comments: Saved us a ton, almost 10%, of lost revenue due to poor time tracking processes. Using paymo we increased our billable time since we no longer guess and round down. I've tried others and for the price this is easily the best.

Comments: If time-tracking, invoice generation and project management are services that you need for your business, whether you have a tight budget or not, Paymo covers all of that and a few more cool features. My small business has been using them for a few years now and have never had an issue, and are able to keep up with many critical aspects of our business.

Comments: When another app I was using ceased to exist I was desperate to find an alternative that had the same features without spending a lot of money. Paymo fit the bill. The automatic time tracking is especially important to me, (who has time to click timers on and off?!) so I was thrilled to find the PaymoPlus tracking option. Invoicing is also easy, although you can only create one invoice per month on the $4.95/mo plan. As an individual freelancer with just a few clients I'd love to have an option to send perhaps up to five for an additional $4.95/mo rather than having to jump to the unlimited plan for an extra $9.95/mo. Overall very happy, though. Saves a ton of time, improves accuracy of time tracking and just makes life easier!

Comments: I started a business earlier this year. I could not afford to pay for a time tracking app, but needed one because a lot of the work I do for clients is by the hour. I searched around for a free app, and found Paymo after trying a few others first. The others did not have the functionality I needed, or were too complicated to learn fast, or focused on the wrong things.

Paymo was the easiest to start using immediately and had the functionalities I needed. Even the free version of it had what I was looking for.

Actually, the app gave me more than I was looking for. The best part of it? It provides all the functionality you need but also doesn't take forever to learn how to use.

Soon, I will become a paying client, but I am writing this out of gratitude. I am amazed that Paymo offers a free version and it's definitely the one I will stick with when I can afford to start paying for the upgraded version.

I have also experienced excellent support. They are fast to get back to you when you need help, and they are effective. And I am not even a paying client - yet!

Comments: Being a freelancer working for different companies on different projects, it started to get though and very time-consuming to keep track of all my hours in the old-fashioned excel sheet I had created earlier. Then I got referred towards Paymo by another self-employed collegue and I immediately started to see the benefits of using this online service. All of my customers and projects were easily set up and I could start entering my timesheets. Now at the end of each month I just have to run my custom report and can easily send out my invoices! For me Paymo has proven to be a very reliable solution and a real time-saver for my financial administration!

Comments: After researching so many tools I finally stayed with Paymo and I still love it! I just needed a simple solution to manage a small amount of projects, track my time and send invoices. There is no other solution which combines these functionalities better than Paymo!

Comments: This app is terrific for my small IT consulting business. I've been using Paymo for two years and the software meets all my timekeeping needs. The app is easy to use and I love the fact it's cloud-based. Price is very affordable too. Only con is the new interface is not as intuitive as the old interface, but it's still very simple to use.

Comments: I use paymo daily. I have been a paymo user through many of the upgrades and it just keeps getting better. I love that I can track my time, expenses and invoices all in one location (and with a smartphone app!)

While I don't adapt to change quickly, I have been able to transition smoothly with paymo's excellent customer service. They really want to go the extra mile for you, so if you have a question, concern or problem you should reach out to them and give them a chance to make it right. For me, that's what sets them apart from the competition.

Comments: I'm required to track my hours for each event I work on separately so as to properly bill clients at the end of a show. Not only has the support been fast and helpful, the software itself is reliable, easy to use, and a true life saver when it comes to organizing and managing my workload. I can even break up billable versus my non-profit hours.

Comments: Pros:
-Tracks your work on PC/Mac. You just drag and drop time and tasks on to the project
-Rules based tracking, so you don't have to go back and remember to do the above manual tracking
-Easy invoicing - adding tasks to a customer timesheet makes billing simple for a web dev
-Fast and direct support from devs.

Cons:
-Lost my SQLite database due to corruption 2 times, but was able to recover

Comments: Our design studio relies on this great web application for accurate and timely invoicing and expense tracking with our clients on a daily basis. The Paymo team is responsive and has incorporated great functionality over the years. Our only minor qualm is that there's not a simple way to incorporate it into a QuickBooks workflow. That aside, it's been outstanding for us for several years now.

Comments: PROS: I've been using Paymo for over 3 years, and I have seen the evolution of this app. They have definitely evolved with the demands of busy professionals, and have got to a point where the apps are not only easy to use, but with a fun interface. I have recommended Paymo to every person I can, and will keep doing so. The only downside is the price, which is way too high.

CONS: I would like the task templates to be modified. Currently, I can add tasks and save as templates, but I would like to modify the templates and have this reflected on all projects.

In addition, I have the paid version which allows me to have unlimited active projects, but I am not very happy with the price. I think the price is extremely high, even with the student discount. I would like to pay no more than 99 cents per month, and that would be somewhat fair. The reasons why I haven't moved to a free app (which there are a bunch out there) is because I already have all my projects here. Paymo used to be free for over 3 years, and then they decided to make everyone pay, even those customers who, in one way or another, helped them evolve and make it better.

Comments: I absolutely love paymo as a part-time designer and freelancer. It makes my job so much easier to just login to paymo and click "start" to record my time. Comments: As a freelance copywriter and SEO specialist, a time tracker is invaluable. But it has to be easy to use and convenient. Paymo is awesome. On my Windows PC, the timer app is always in the corner. If I forget to stop tracking time, it keeps counting, but offers to cut it off when it noticed I stopped doing things on the computer. Love that. It's also easy to go back and add time, add clients, edit time - and invoice clients. All for next to nothing. Great tool!

Comments: I am a freelance illustrator and I work by myself. I needed something that would help me stay organized. My biggest must haves were: time tracking, task management, and invoicing. It was surprisingly hard to find a solution to all three in one place. Paymo was the best fit by far. I didn't have to pay for any add-ons. It has everything I need.

Comments: We were after something that tracked the time and activity of us and our staff, without taking unnecessary time to record that time. This has been vital to our stability and growth, which would be a much harder process without a tool like Paymo. There are many similar tools out there, but Paymo is the one that suits us best in its ease of use, support via customer service and forums/info, and prompt response to feedback. It's worth thinking about what you'll need from it, now and in the future, when setting it up, as it can take a little while to get right, but it has definitely been worth it for us. Really handy bits (for us) include the widget, the colour coding, the milestones (and other parts of the dashboard) and the reports (still getting my head around how to get the best out of those, but huge potential). There have been a few glitches from time to time, but nothing hugely disruptive and the support team were always keen to help.

Comments: Paymo makes easy to manage any type of project and also measure if you're doing things efficiently. I love the fact that has a very intuitive interface and is not complicated to use.
