Comments: If you're looking for an amazing Project Management tool, look no further! I started using LP for our Marketing company last year. I continue to be amazed at the value we have gained from using LP. I've had incredibly positive experiences every time I reach out for customer support and they are always making updates to improve the software. We are very happy with this tool and it continues to be a resource for our company.

Pros: Methodology-agnostic and high scalability

Cons: Lacks the ability to assign dependencies in imported projects, will not export certain project hierarchy cleanly and lacks a way to interface with QuickBooks Online

Overall: The experience I have had with LiquidPlanner has been unparalleled compared to every other major Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) tool on the market. LiquidPlanner offers my organization a truly out-of-the-box scalable solution that is highly adaptive and intuitive to the way my organization's PMO is developed and to the way we manage projects across our highly diverse lines of business. LiquidPlanner is our one-stop-shop for everything project related as well as every other administrative or sales related task across our enterprise. Whether it is storing Project Artifacts, costing and budgeting projects or internal development cycles, identifying risk or periods of time where a staff augmentation would be necessary or just to have status updates via comments, LiquidPlanner covers all bases. My background is both from a PMBOK-aligned infrastructure Project Manager and a Scrum Coach for an applications development shop - and LiquidPlanner successfully caters to those methodologies without having to "fake the funk" or bend our processes to fit in the tool. The success of our PMO and of all of our projects is in no small part thanks to LiquidPlanner.

Pros: The ability to use resources across projects and still estimate timelines for all projects accurately

Cons: Speed can be an issue at times

Overall: One of the most flexible project management software that allows for the flexibility of using a single resource for multiple projects and still give a great insight into the elasticity of the timeline is a great feature.

Pros: the easier to use it

Cons: the report

Overall: This is tool allow us in our company to follow our backlog and our running project easy in same time we follow our run, this is easy to add and manage a project with this tool, the only thing to my side is an inconveniant with the report that I can't do what I would like but this is a nice to have :)

Pros: Ease of use and flexibility of scheduling

Cons: Time entry errors and what you need to do to correct it.

Overall: All in all the software does the job but could use some improvements. It needs and issues section to track issues either at the task level or project level. Time entry major issue, if someone makes a mistake in entering time it takes it away from the estimated time but when corrected it does not put it back. The time issue of not putting back the incorrect time causes extra work because you now need to go back and correct the estimated time as well.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to learn

Cons: Double edge sword: meaning it's very useful, but can be abused as well.

Overall: It look a little bit of getting used to in the beginning. The learning curve wasn't really that hard either. It's a good way to track your progress in terms of time, but as an employee it also makes me worried that some managers out there might want to micromanage employees can miss use this useful tool.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are being told to use it, you really have no choice. Luckily it's not a hard tool to pickup and use.

Pros: It is an organizational system that once I embraced was easy to use and pretty intuitive.

Cons: Not everyone in my organization has adopted it and even most that have don't use it to even a tenth of it's potential. That is a user issue not a software issue though.

Overall: Liquid Planner is easy to use and helps me to keep track of my time and deadlines better than any system that I have used in the past. The stop watch is my favorite feature in the program since I am able to quickly hit it and switch tasks when a different project needs unexpected attention. This has helped in keeping accurate time to each project.

Pros: Clear list of actions within a task. Easy time entry

Cons: Loads of UI updates. Might be good for new customers, but for older ones, it gets something a little bit confusing every month.

Overall: We are using it in our agency for the past 2 years and we can have a clear view of what's going on and when things can get done.

Pros: I have recommended.
I like the meld of planning and projection.
I love the hi/lo estimations and the detail I can provide clients

Cons: Useability for doers, especially timesheets
Lack of integrations with SCM.
Poor connectivity/communication for my clients; their portals don't show custom fields, board views or timelines for tickets/tasks.
True Kanban is not feasible
Sprint-based planning for cross-team/project resource is not possible alongside weekly overviews
A desktop app would be great; especially for devs etc
The mobile app hasn't changed since we started using this in 2012 and is highly impractical.
Doesn't work well on ipads

Overall: I love it, however, our devs and creatives find it frustrating to use despite large amounts of training and personalisation. There are a number of tools that would make this more helpful and less painful to the "doers".

Our business needs are well met, though there are other aspects that don't accomplish our requirements. Kanban, for example, as well as cross-team/project sprint planning whilst maintaining a weekly outlook.

Finally, with the latest price hikes it doesn't feel "good value" and I'm now faced with justifying the expense when before it was self explanatory. This is compounded by exchange rates.

Pros: The easy way to change priority on projects and analyze data.

Cons: I think that the search engine could be better. It's difficult to find tasks when you look for something done in the history.

Overall: We handle a lot of small tasks and projects and need a workflow where we can change priority fast and easy. Liquid Planner can do this for us. There are things that can be better like emails to customers when tasks are finished but in total LP is doing a great job.

Overall: We are using LiquidPlanner (LP) in almost every project. Besides tracking and reporting progress inside, one of the best things is to keep our clients updated regarding their projects in real time. Such transparency has huge benefit to both side, the clients and the development team.

For clients, they may gain confidence from the project progress at any time. Especially, many of them are start-ups. They relies on the project to develop their business and talk further with the potential investors. The real time update helps to plan their future in a more accurate way.

For the team, LP is used to get real time feedback from clients. Any blocks may be identified and solved in time. And we know what we did is what the clients need and does bring business value to them.

In general, with LP, all the parties around the project get the transparency and are given the great confidence of the success.

Overall: I find the concept to be the best way to manage projects, but the interface, lack of costumizability causes an unnecessary interface complexity. There are so many items and features that could be hidden from the average user.

But the biggest down side to the service is the complete lag of a notification system, making the task chat risky and out dated.

I also find the price tag to be too high, especially for smaller innovators and teams. But I guess you prefer big clients and not small clients.

The mobile app unfortunately is a very sad story, would love to use it but it is so slow and out of date that I find it unusable.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would like the chat, and notification to work more smoothly. A notfacition on "new message with you tagged" a message on your task, a message on tasks your following. A bit like the "My items tab" And a mobile app that supports timers, so you can start and stop them on go.

-Extracting information that is in the system without working in the open API
-Difficult UI for project teams and clients. Only people with extensive training and frequent use understand it.
-Too hierarchal for our type of work (we work in simultaneous work streams), so a lot of the mandatory features are difficult (i.e. flags/flames, priority, etc.)
-Custom fields to calculate specific items on the platform. Currently need to export to Excel frequently

Cons: Usability, user interface, complex/difficult to use reporting functionality, does not integrate with Salesforce, does not help me make better decisions.

Overall: LP is only as good as the effort you put into in (like most software tools for business). It stands out compared to other capacity planning tools in that it can accommodate complex resourcing across multiple projects using the same staff. It is head and shoulders above Workamajig.

It still leaves much to be desired in terms of user interface/usability.

Comments: Been with Liquid Planner for 4 years now for our company. I like some of the updates that we are seeing. For a new staff joining, the software could be very daunting and confusing.

some suggestions:
- would like the time stamp back on attachments

Comments: It helps me keep my daily tasks in a prioritized list, we can add new task, change, update, adjust, etc... everything you need from a PM tool. Both time management and task management are services that you could find using this tool.

Cons: No calendar view. Not easy to get use to it. Horrible UI. Slow. Average users will take a while to get use to it.

Overall: This is a software that is designed by an engineer without any UI experience. Overall, it's very powerful, but there's a lot of key features missing (or hidden) that would make any average user feeling intimidated. Liquid planner begins off assuming you're a master at understanding its layout. So unless you have a lot of time set aside to learn the ins and outs, this is going to be a long and wild ride. Once you've fully mastered the UI, and features, just hope that your fellow team members have done the same. This isn't a software that is easily picked up. Good luck, you're going to need it.

Recommendations to other buyers: Rebuild from the ground up. Talk to average users, not engineers. In theory a project manager should know how to use this, but if their collaborating team members is not on the same level, which is always the case, then this software fails.

Pros: Ease of use. Performance (it never crashes or hangs)

Cons: It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility in reporting that does not always necessitate exporting to Excel.

Overall: We have been using Liquid Planner for nearly 5 years and have really put it through its paces as we load it up with large projects consisting of hundreds of tasks. We now consider it to be an indispensable tool for managing our projects. It is very reliable, fast and offers extreme flexibility in managing our often changing priorities.

Pros: Very large feature set, great support.

Cons: It's almost perfect, but there are some features I do miss and since it's so complete, sometimes it can be difficult to learn how to use a tool for the first time.

Overall: LiquidPlanner is a very complete software for managing projects, time spent, people, clients and analyzing the overall performance of your company. It has a lot of different functionalities. You'll probably never use all of them, since the system is so complete it has different features for different needs of all kinds of companies. We work with advertising and LP is invaluable in our day to day life. Customer support is rarely needed, but when it is, they are fast, polite and helpful. Having compared LP to other project management software, I can say I've never found one that adapts itself to our needs as much as this one.

Recommendations to other buyers: When in doubt, ask the customer support for help. They'll likely find an answer for what you need.

Pros: Great for managers for task and project management. There are a lot of features to use as well.

Cons: Learning curve and also a more intuitive 'task list' for daily tasks. Tasks and deadlines can be easily missed.

Overall: Liquid Planner is great for task and project management. It was great having our development team, graphic team and marketing team on one platform.

Recurring tasks and checklists made things easy to manage as well.

Unfortunately from a marketing team perspective, it was a little bit tougher to use. For most of our team members it was harder to learn and having a task list for the day was something that was lacking.

The biggest problem it solves is providing an all-in-one solution for a company including @-replies for communication and dependencies as well.

Recommendations to other buyers: The tutorial videos are helpful and should be watched before starting. It is also intimidating at first glance but once you get the hang of it, it's a very powerful software.

Pros: I like the dashboards and the top to bottom priority managment

Cons: The filters are a little tedious and tags are not always helpful. Also adding fields is a pain.

Overall: We are using liquid planner to manage our client services team. It has great functionality, but at times is too much of a product for what we need. It handles the basics, but some of the high end use functionality is not exactly catered for the SAS experience

Comments: We run a small agile team that eat it significant structure, but with the flexibility to adapt per our existing process. Liquidplanner has been an amazing resource for us and it's helped me to efficiently grow a two-person team to 12 people. Pros: The timer functionality for tracking time. Customization of views for what you see in terms of deadlines, time remaining, etc.

Cons: Wish the timer functionality wouldn't lose parts of a minute, will round down unless reached that whole minute.

Overall: I use LiquidPlanner every day to track my progress and time remaining for projects. I love the timer functionality so I don't have to try and guess how long I spent on each project. LiquidPlanner really saves our team a lot of time and allows us to plan for future projects based on ones we complete.

Cons: I liked the previous layout. So much more user friendly

Overall: Love this platform. We started off using asana and saw the need for something greater with more features. Luckily in our search we came across LP which solved a ton of our reporting needs, timeline needs, as well time management needs all into one platform, while at the same time having the ability to keep all communications on each project in one location. Any company can greatly benefit from the software and see immediate results.

Comments: We really enjoy using Liquid Planner, it's versatile enough to meet the needs of a small scholarly publisher-- which are notorious for how different they are from one another and from big trade houses. So the flexibility is key. The hierarchical set up is in line with our work processes but we're too small to think in terms of work hours, unlike freelancers or big companies who limit and measure work by time. We don't have that luxury, we just keep working until it's done, therefore the time tracking feature is not a tool we use. The codependency of tasks could be improved-- like a notification only and until someone else completes the prior task would be beneficial. The design/look updates seem superfluous at times, it occurs too frequently in my opinion and pushes current users through a momentary state of adjustment that's annoying. Otherwise, it's a great tool and we're very happy with it.

Cons: The search functionality is lacking. Filters are OK for broad searches. If I want something specific I have better luck searching my email for LP comments than using the LP search functionality.

Overall: LP is great for planning, but it is good for so much more! As a Quality Manager, I use LP to help maintain quality standards by implementing templates for various product types. Checklists ensure that standard tasks are followed and nothing is skipped. LP helps me feel confident that our defined processes were followed for each project and keeps processes from going out of control. LP is also flexible enough for me to implement customizations for error checking and continual process improvement ideas.

Comments: I use the product 4-8hrs per day to help organize my workflow and tasks. Much better than just using my e-mail. I cannot really compare this to other programs as I did not research alternatives. Other organizations could use this differently than we are.

Pros: It allows me to see what's going with my project in other departments, once I've finished with it.

Cons: I find the filters a bit awkward. Navigating is not as intuitive as it should be.

Overall: I at first found Liquid Planner a bit hard to navigate. I had to ask questions of those trained before me. I still find some aspects of it awkward and not completely customized to our type of work. But once I began using it, I realized how valuable it was. I especially like being able to track a project once my part in it is done. That was not possible before we had Liquid Planner.

Pros: Tasks are laid out in a simple format that works across a variety of projects. Cross-project capacity analytics are also valuable for our use case.

Cons: the replicability of projects and tasks is limited
There is little exportable/API for LP, limiting our ability to integrate the data in LP with our CRM and other systems.

Overall: As a project manager with a design firm of 35 people, Liquid Planner is a valuable tool to organize work plans and understand capacity and availability for my teams.

Overall: Being new to my organization, it didn't take me a long time to get up to speed with the way our company was using LP. Pros: Advanced features for time tracking.

Cons: The prioritization within project objects doesn't work for concurrent work streams -- it's almost impossible to get rid of red flames and red flames are regularly useless.

Overall: Liquid Planner has some compelling features for project management. The forecasting feature is unique and quite useful. Time tracking and analytics are advanced and useful. However, when used for project work that is unrelated to software development, we'd had to create some work arounds to correctly prioritize. We have many concurrent work streams and so the prioritization programming within LP has created challenges for us. It's also hard to teach project team members to become power users in LP.

Comments: Liquid Planner is very functional in regards to their reporting, diagrams and dashboards, which are easy to construct. From my standpoint, the overall functionality and access is extremely easy to work with, although there are some things in regards to the reports and comment sections when adding a comment on an individual ticket, I would prefer to be able to view the latest update message on each ticket instead of all together in the folder. It makes it confusing which ticket that message belongs to, having to track down which status on each one.

Overall: Soon after getting LP up and running in our business it proved to provide a tremendous amount of power organizing multiple projects and multiple tasks all in one place. This along with using filters allowed us to see the entire business as a whole while also providing the ability to filter things down to just a single project.

Pros: Dynamic scheduling based on how long tasks will take. It really helps our team understand what there work will be for a week and plan accordingly.

Cons: Hierarchy of projects. Could there be a ranking of projects by a point scale so projects with the same ranking can filter into someone's work simultaneously?

Overall: LP is way better than Microsoft Project. The only quirk is the hierarchy when multiple projects are happening simultaneously. With the hierarchy one project always reads as a higher priority than the next. We had to develop a system to ensure the important tasks from all projects (packages) float to the top.

Overall: We use LP to manage multiple concurrent client projects. With several project managers sharing resources, it is vital to have visibility into resource availability and potential schedule conflicts. Because of the extremely long duration of our projects (with heavy work in the beginning, then intermittently for months to years afterwards), it took us some time to develop a workflow that would allow for prioritization of individual tasks rather than projects as a whole. But we've come a long way from using stand alone MS project files! Time tracking directly on the task has also been very beneficial for more accurate tracking and billing of work.

Recommendations to other buyers: More levels of users / more flexible permissions would be helpful for our business. For example, Project Managers cannot run their own time reports without having full Managerial access.

Comments: I like having a centralized place at work for jobs. Being able to post attachments, correspond with coworkers, have conversations in threads are all good things. The usability is not always easy though. Sometimes we have to click on something more than once to get it to open or access it. Shifting from Timesheets to Projects can take some time. Also, in Documents, having to switch from Project Only to All Files seems to be redundant, especially when things that are being posted, are posted for the project.

Comments: LiquidPlanner is a fully featured Project Management software. It has made robust gains in analytics and dashboard reporting in the last few releases which when used in tandem with custom fields can be quite useful.

The biggest selling point and also the biggest difficulty (for our business model) is the adaptive scheduling which uses ranged estimates to automatically schedule resources across multiple projects. This works really well IF LiquidPlanner is up to date, and IF everyone is a full time resource. Using it with contractors who have limited or variable availability has been a little tough since there is no way to model this across time. There is a setting to adjust availability by day of week, but as a reoccurring standard (as in, someone always only has 4 hours on Friday). User adoption is really key to getting the full value of the software - more than with other products in my experience.

It doesn't stand alone like an MS Project, so it is not necessarily great for external, client-facing uses. There are portals to bring external team members in, but there has been less advance on that front than in the dashboards/analytics in recent releases. It does have a robust commenting feature which is often more convenient than emailing since it keeps all of that conversation with the task, hours, estimates, etc in one place.

The team at LiquidPlanner is extremely responsive, though. They take in suggestions and actually act on them. They respond to support requests quickly and thoroughly. It is a very high standard of customer service on that front.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the product to someone looking for a well-supported, innovative project management solution for teams that work only internally and with full time resources.

You could add a capability in the filters to turn this off, just in case someone is searching for tasks that they are on but are not currently with them.

Overall: LiquidPlanner is easily the most user friendly software I have ever used to manage a project. It's easy to understand, easy to train on, and provides a ton of flexibility and analysis capabilities. They continue to innovate and respond to user requests for changes and enhancements to the platform and their customer support is top level in my opinion.

Pros: The software is very user friendly. It is very easy to organize projects by client.

Cons: The calendar feature does not sync up exactly to the work I need to do that day, likely due to deadlines entered in the system. The ability to move items around better on the calendar would be helpful.

Overall: Our entire team uses Liquid Planner to manage all of the projects for our business. We have multiple clients at our agency and a constant change in project status. Liquid Planner keeps us on track so we can produce quality work for our clients!

Overall: We turned to LiquidPlanner as we needed a way to handle a lot of projects and clients in one place, with multiple members of staff assigned to each, all tracking time against different tasks within a project.

LP enables us to analyse staff performance, billable hours logged against a task, project or client and apportion resources accordingly. It's central to our business and also means we can provide transparency and accuracy to clients when reporting on what work we have done for them.

Our staff find it helps them to manage their workload, collaborate and understand dependencies easily. It takes a little time for new starters to get used to clicking the button to time everything they do, but the benefits are enormous for us as an agency.

Pros: Easy of schedule multiple people across multiple projects. The dashboards are also good, but we run out of widgets fast.

Cons: Would be good to add attributes to the client or project level. For example, we want to make a whole project billable or all projects from a client billable.

Overall: We use because we have a lot shared team members across many projects that are managed by multiple project managers. The priority package really lets us schedule out the work in an organized fashion. Most of the users can just look at the My Work tab and figure out what they are supposed to do. This is the ONLY program that gives us this option. Trust me, we looked.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's really easy to get up and running. Sometimes the hardest thing is to get people to update their hours (we don't use the timesheet feature.) You have to get them to make it a habit.

Cons: I tend to forget my log-in! But that's not the company's fault!

Overall: LiquidPlanner keeps me on track. It's so helpful to me to see all of my projects all in one place, especially when they are organized by date. This helps me see what's on my plate for the day, and how quickly I have to turn them in. I also appreciate that several people can be involved in the conversation. This way, everyone is on the same page on where we are at on this project and what has yet to be done. It's also an easier place to drop photos/files, as opposed to email, where the file limit is much smaller.

Pros: Automated rescheduling of tasks and resources according to priority. Visibility as to what's really going on. Reliable project forecasting.

Cons: No EU-based servers for our data. USA only.

Overall: LP allows us to forecast and manage over one hundred projects/workstreams across diverse teams who work on a number of different projects at the same time. This would have been too difficult (even impossible) to manage and represent in traditional PM software packages. Not only this, but it also adds collaboration tools to prevent documents going missing, to keep people focused on the task at hand without having to search for old email threads, to know who's working on what, and when, and I love the way LP promotes single tasking, which improves focus, quality of work, and motivation.

I'm just learning about the reporting and analytics functionality of LP, and it looks very good. If we want more reporting functionality we even have the option to export project data from LP into our MI report software for drilling down even further, but I'm not sure that we'll need to; LP's analytics appears to show some deep insights into projects and resourcing.

I can't recommend LP enough - it does require some careful planning and onboarding to get it right. We spent several months building our Workspace in LP. Unless you've a small team or a small number of projects running, I wouldn't recommend launching it quickly, or you risk leaving people behind and lack of adoption.

Overall: We are a small business and the pricing structures weren't well suited to us despite (I think) LPs main value being well suited to smaller organisations.

Got to say I don't regret stretching to get it though! LP has been a game changer for us in terms of always having a clear idea of delivery dates for clients and being able to very quickly shift priorities and see the ramifications.

The resourcing algorithms have been close to spot on so far. We are small enough we can use Xero, LiquidPlanner and Slack (with a few Zaps) to run our entire business.

Overall: I use LiquidPlanner for more than two years and I'm happy with that. It helped me to estimate how much time do I need for every task due to I'm performing very different kinds of tasks each requiring different amount of time. Than it's easier to estimate time needed for tasks similar to those done before.
It also helps a lot to track time worked for different projects and quicly fill timesheets at the end of month.

1. Portal features are very limited making the tool useless. Perhaps an alternative would be to have low cost licences with limited functionality (only the Gantt chart for one project should be visible + capability to register hours).
2. Few features are missing e.g. milestones could be a fixed date as now or move with dependencies and have a deadline, fixed duration tasks, MS project export, etc) See my previous feedback on these topics.

For a non techie I have seen that there are som difficulties to understand everything, however with good webinars, videos etc. I think it´s more up the users to learn exactly how it works. I am missing some good integrations with some invoice and accounting software (in Sweden) and I am still missing a good way to be able to register costs within a project that calculates against budget etc. But apart from that I think it´s great and that you are doing a great job!

Love the dashboards that can be customized to show real-time information. Scheduling with multiple dependencies is awesome. Not always easy to see who has availability at a given time. Good for smaller businesses, with not a lot of back and forth processes (i.e. not multiple review and edit stages) - as when you have too many of these, it bogs the scheduling engine down.

Comments: We love the ability to schedule by dragging to packages. We operate our business using this tool - something we had to use multiple tools for before. We wish the Client Dashboards were interactive and that the REST API could give us data on Expense line items and Analytics like Pay Total or have the software let us enter things like overhead costs so we could have a true profitability report. I have seen another tool that let's you put in an employee salary and benefits and it calculates their cost instead of us putting in a rate. Also, it would be great on the client dashboard to have tasks grouped in their folders and possibly allow for a client approval process.

Comments: The best thing is the automatic planning feature, just order the projects from first till last and the planning is made, easy! On the other hand it does take a while to check how you organise your projects, when you create a project folder or a sub-project folder, how you list bugs, issues, change requests or helpdesk but once you found this out it is all handy.

I like the extended features like the planning tools, the tasks where you can add documents, comments, whole letters, ... The e-mail link on every project, sub-project or task is nice to forward an e-mail directly into LiquidPlanner.

We miss some features like creation of invoices and offers. It would be nice to create an offer, transform that offer into tasks (after approval) and afterwards invoice this job when it's done.

The 'My Day' for our employees is really straight forward and simple, this is good. The 'Projects' is a little overwhelming for people not used to the program. But after a while and looking at the well made and easy videos everything is pretty clear. The videos are really good way to learn LP.

- Range estimates are difficult to manage on a waterfall project that has a dedicated deadline - I manage a team of 9 people that are working on between 35-40 live projects at anyone time, prioritising and scheduling work for this number of project can be a challenge if using the range estimates so i tend not to enter just one set amount of time.
- Project set up time, i use templates to mitigate this but if you don't plan every step in at the start going back into each live projects to modify it can be time consuming. I recommend identifying what information you want to pull out in your dashboards right from the beginning of the project. For example: i was asked to analyse actual time against budgeted time, the only way to do this is to use the max effort field.

Comments: WOW. LiquidPlanner was transformative for me, my team, and my company. We needed project management that didn't feel like it required a lot of learning, that could predict alongside us how long things might take, and that would enable tracking and billing across multiple dimensions.

Comments: I would like the ability to export dashboards to a pdf.
I would like the ability to create a highlevel report/plan that could represent a project duration for a portfolio of projects in a gantt format.

Comments: I've been managing projects for 15 years and have tried dozens of tools to help me do the job. In the end, I always come back to using spreadsheets because managing the tool is harder than managing the project. LiquidPlanner is the first tool that actually helps me *manage* projects. Other tools like Microsoft Project are tolerable for building an initial plan, but they don't allow me to easily keep track of the project as it unfolds and finds its footing in reality.

Liquid Planner is a great tool that does 90% of what I need

Comments: The pros:

You can see your projects at risk immediately when you enter a scenario e.g. a resource takes holidays, sick leave etc, and proactively address the issues. There is an immense amount of flexibility to make the system work for you how *you* want to work. Integrations through zapier are making it easy to automate a lot of our processes. Training materials are fantastic.

The cons:

A lot to look at with the first glance, and easily overwhelming (but the amazing training materials - see above - help with that). A bit expensive and tough when it's a minimum of 10 seats, but we have gained a lot of efficiency and control through the use.

I wouldn't be without it anymore.

Liquid Planner has been the best all encompassing tool for our team.

Comments: We love the ability to see each person's capacity to take on new projects and our ability to track time, make estimates and prioritize projects.

The tool requires more time to input tasks and setup projects and requires more attention than previous tools we've used.

Comments: We adopted LiquidPlanner because it seemed to have a clever solution to the problem of keeping project timelines updated as plans changed. The customer service has been fantastic, and I really appreciate being able to draw on both our account specialist and also the extensive database of training videos and materials for help. The software seems to work as advertised and we haven't encountered any bugs.

We've had a tough time fully utilizing the software, entirely because of internal resource limitations on how much time we're able to spend updating our projects. (Keeping it up-to-date can be time-consuming and requires some familiarity.) I'm confident that once we address that, it will become even more useful to us.

We use this software primarily as a PM tool across our IT department. I would stress taking the time

Comments: At first our approach was very elementary. However we later found many great ways to take advantage of the product from use partial day events to schedule recurring meeting, creating dashboards - one being a way for our customers to submit their requests for a projecy/task and on the same dashboard presenting them with a list of projects and the associated status and a myriad bunch of other cool ways to schedule project tasks. Only negative I complain about is the web portal - I love it but wish the outside orginizations we link through it could have a little more functionality espically recording their time.

Comments: I enjoy using Liquid Planner for Project Management. It is one of the best software systems I've found. There are two things I would like to see with LP. One is that I wish Liquid Planner would have the option for 2 resources to have to work together on a project. This way we can schedule a person and piece of equipment at the same time. The other, is to see a one page calendar view for all the resources on one screen. Other than these two items, LP has worked great for us and I would recommend it to anyone.

Comments: My needs are basically to put in deadlines and expected effort, and juggle everything around to find critical paths. LP is easy to use for that, and the interface is pretty straightforward. I probably don't use a lot of the functionality, but for what I use it for, it is ideal.
I use a lot of "virtual" users to help me plan resources for staff I manage - I don't need them logging into a system, I just need to let them know their tasks and when they are due. Many people don't care to login to a project management system anyway, so I cut that barrier by just setting them up as virtual, and talking to them in real life when I need to get things done.

Solid tool that has strong Critical Chain characteristics
