Pros
Web based, simple tabs, good reporting, easy search features, price, rental apps/background checks.
Cons
Cannot customize anything, certain reports and portions of the public site cannot be edited and this would be a nice addition.
Overall
Would definitely recommend. Coming from Propertyware which was 3X as expensive, the huge price difference makes up for the customization possibilities that Propertyware had.

Pros
Web based software allows access wherever a PC and Internet are available. Handles most of the day-to-day work that any investor or property manager would come across. PDF reports based on building performance, picture and image attachments to buildings or tenants, individual sign ins for owners/tenants/managers/maintenance, etc. Full of features and abilities to make your business better. The customer service and support is absolutely TOP NOTCH. They are constantly asking for feedback and you can see they take customer suggestions and implement them. They want to become a standard in the industry and will do anything to make a customer happy and get them the answers they're looking for.
Cons
Mobile apps for Android still in the works. iPhone app not as feature-rich as it could be.
Some tasks can be tedious, but new update this summer may help that.
Direct import/export to QuickBooks not available.
Overall
9 of 10 would recommend to any investor or property manager. Great value and great customer service....something you don't get many places anymore.

Pros
I love working in the cloud. I'm always on the go, and have people working in different locations. Being able to access the information anywhere is essential. Also, whenever I have a question, I get very fast responses.
Cons
The tenant background check system is disappointing. I was very hopeful when they offered it, but unfortunately, it's not very usable with how we operate.
Overall
I couldn't run business as well without them.

Pros
--I love just about all of the features of Buildium. The best is that the program offers me enough bells and whistles that it does everything I want but not so many that i have to pay for a bunch of things my staff won't use.
--The 24/7 availability and ease of navigation for owners has swayed clients to us from our competition!
--The real and actual desire by the Buildium team to grow the product in a way that is beneficial to its customers is outstanding.
--The ease of use for my staff and myself.

Your clients will love it! Your tenants will love it! You will love it!
It far and away surpasses all of the competition we have tried such as PropertyWare (too many unused features and a price tag that will make you choke), Yardi (customer service is like trying to make the mean girl in 4th grade both nice and helpful - just give it up) or just plain, old QuickBooks modified for our business (much more complex and didn't track Work Orders). I am VERY glad we switched to Buildium!
