Pros

Brightmove is a complete CRM / ATS that is VERY easy to use. It is so easy to learn and pickup we didn't even have to hold formal training sessions. It has four key components (Clients, Contacts, Requirements and Applicants) as well as a dashboard, calendar, and reporting tools.

Cons

System lacks some minor features like user groups, saved searches (advanced), percent signs needed to search, limited fields in email templates, inability to search multiple JO status (open and hot and contingent), and an inability to import contacts from .csv, outlook, etc.

Overall

I evaluated 67 ATS systems and narrowed it down to 6 based on 3 criteria; (1) ability to search paid job boards from within the ATS, (2) ability to access via mobile phone, and (3) the ability to keep contacts private.

Brightmove was developed by a recruiter and the workflow allows the user to benefit from the structure but it's not so rigid that it makes using the system more difficult.
