When we switched to , we instantly became more professional not only because of the various automations that made operation seamless, but also because the presentation to the parents was bulletproof. We have all our main camp operations in one place now and can function in a straightforward and clear manner.

Pros

It centralizes almost all camp work into one platform, including keeping track of campers, staff, parents, and alumni. There are so many features that make camp operation smooth and uncomplicated.

Cons

It's not very intuitive, although they give great trainings and have helpful customer support throughout. There also are some features I would like to see added, and they are always open to feedback and improving, which allows me to believe we have a future with them.

Using has been a game changer for our camp operations. The stress of handling administrative tasks is significantly reduced, thanks to its comprehensive features like online registration and billing. Generating reports are a breeze, and parents love the streamlined communication. CampSite truly transforms the camp management experience, allowing us to focus on creating the best possible experience for our campers.

Pros

I love being able to pull a report, send out a mass email with merge fields so that every parent gets a personalized email and all of the details they need with the touch of 1 button from me. Parents are happier and well informed and it doesn't take much effort on my end to make that experience possible for them.

Cons

I haven't found a flaw yet. When I need to do something that doesn't look possible, I call customer service and they help me find a way to accomplish anything I need!

Pros

Nothing sadly. We are a small business, and whenever we needed help they would say we will get in touch at their convenience not ours. That is not the way run a service business.

Cons

They take forever to respond. It really does not work for our business at all. And we have tried to cancel. They are still charging us, and really are providing no service whatsoever. We are very very disappointed.

Overall, we have loved our experience with . We have considered switching to other platforms, and they are much more pricey and don't provide that much more in terms of operations.

Pros

I love the value for the cost of . The user interface on the administrative end is very simple and easy to figure out. Additionally, their support team is fantastic and very quick to help resolve any issues my team faces.

Cons

The app adaptation process has taken longer than normal. Recently, acquired MyCampApp, and it has taken some time for the app to be integrated with the software. MyCampApp is not up to par with Campsite's standards, in my opinion.

It started last August when I met with a few different companies to find the one that best met our needs. I found to be user friendly and a pleasing format that invites you to explore. The staff is knowledgeable and patient and always willing to set you in the right direction - and then check to see that you did it right!

Pros

Managing camp - staff, campers and families - was so much easier with all the necessary information right at our fingertips! The whole Leadership Team could easily access necessary information when needed.

Cons

Setting up our specific was easy as the representatives are really knowledgeable and smart. \[sensitive content hidden\] was a tremendous help to me! The learning curve takes some time. This was our first summer using the site and once I spent some time using the site it got easier. As the summer continued \[sensitive content hidden\] encouraged me to use the Support page and it was very helpful. I have the confidence now to try making changes on my own.

is a great company - the people are very responsive and very kind. The product is fantastic for handling camp registrations, payments, reporting and forms registration. The parent portal has a ton of functionality!

Pros

Ease of use; unparalleled customer support; parent portal for forms; reporting features; all in one system. Overall, this is a great summer camp management system - the best out there.

Cons

I would love to see more workflow and automation. It's possible to work around, but not as customizable with workflows as some other CRMS.

I have been extremely pleased with . The customer service is excellent. Parents feedback about the enrollment process has been positive and staff feedback about the application process has been positive.

Pros

I have been using since 2015 and am very happy with it. I use it for camper enrollment and staff applications. Both parents and staff give positive feedback about their experience. Also, customer service is excellent. It was very easy to transitition from my previous camp managment software to Campsite.

Cons

allows parents to create an account and access it year to year so it allows for easy of enrollment for returning families. For new families, the application is very easy to cmplete. For staff, I can accept application, track progess through the screening and hiring process and once hired, I can do onboarding via Campsite. This simplifies my hiring and onboarding. Campsite has a text message feature which allows me to more easily commincate with both camp famlies and staff.

gives camps a professional, modern system that handles complex operations effortlessly. It’s reliable, easy for staff to learn, and continues to improve every year based on user feedback. More than anything, it makes camp management feel organized, efficient, and under control—which is priceless during a busy season.

Pros

What we appreciate most about is how much time it saves. Tasks that used to take hours—collecting forms, processing payments, and managing enrollment—now happen automatically and without stress. Everything is stored in one place, updated in real time, and easy to access, so our team spends less time on paperwork and more time focused on campers and programming.

Cons

Because is such a robust system, some modules can take time to learn. The basic functions are initiative, but some of the more in depth modules take some extra effort. There are many features, settings, and customization options. While this may feel overwhelming at first, it isn't at all and most challenges disappear once everyone is trained. CampSite’s support team is excellent—responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to walk users through solutions. Once staff members are comfortable, the system is extremely efficient and reliable.

### "Campsite is Helpful! "

On a user and admin end (and someone who is experienced with data management platforms), it has all the needs for our org and more. The quick customer support and client-focused attitude makes it very easy to work with the Team. Even if it's been a minute since I sent them a request (and I take a while to get back to them with a follow up), they are thoughtful and consistent with client interactions, sending check-in messages and whatnot. Some things on the site are not very intuitive to use (even for me), and there are SO many features that it can be hard to decide what to use, when. If I had more time to focus on learning CS, I'm sure it would be easier, however, it is just one aspect of our admissions and registration toolkit.

Pros

The customer service team is extremely helpful and quick to respond to our asks. This spring, they helped us enroll over 200 Campers and even shared customized tutorials to help us import Camper information from Salesforce.

Cons

Some things about on the user and admin end are counter-intuitive (need to click on Camper profile to see camper forms, they don't show up on the family profile), and need to send individual emails from each family account. On the user end, we work with families who are first-gen and not tech saavy. We frequently received calls asking for support on how to login to Campsite, reset their password, get to the forms section from the login screen, etc.. Although it was helpful to have all their forms in one place, we took a lot of time playing tech support.

I would absolutely recommend this software for Camps. I've explored other softwares and where the others may appear more user friendly, I've yet to find one that can do what can. Plus, the support team and customer service is top notch - highly responsive with nearly immediate resolution.

Pros

The advanced reports that can generate lists of any collected info you'd like, email mass number of families at once based on current and past session enrollments, easy financial management, and the enrollment analytics are a few of my favorite features.

Cons

Certain parts can be a little slow at times. The features are amazing, but processing times on both the administrative and family sides could be improved.

Pros

makes camp management seamless. It’s easy to navigate, with smooth registration, detailed reports, and great communication tools. As a marketing and communications staff member, I love how effortless it is to keep parents informed and share photos of their children. Anything I can’t figure out is just a quick phone call away—support is always helpful. Highly recommend!

Cons

Though security on our camp management software is vital, I do with their was an alternative secure sign in method that didn't require me to change my password every month. For example, a 2-step verification instead.

We are so grateful to their patient team. Every question or circumstance their team will walk you through. The online tutorials are also very helpful.

Pros

is a robust tool and partner in creating a successful camp experience. Everything from the interface with parents during enrollment to financial summaries to communication to family databases, it is an awesome tool.

Cons

The program can do almost everything! Which is great, but there is so much to learn and every scenario lends a twist to managing the software. We've found that some things don't apply to our needs or misses the mark for our unique camp. We've given feedback to and they are receptive to passing it along to their development team.

Overall, I've had a great experience with as a user and now the administrator for our program. It is easy to use, clear with design choices, and provides many benefits. The support team is quick to respond with any issue we've encountered.

Pros

provides a robust system for enrollment management, data collection, and information hub for our programs. It is simple to set up a new acquired program in our portfolio alongside existing, and we can see a full history of our accounts, some campers from back in 2017! Campsite's pros for our company is the ease of access for our guardians, form integration, payment processing, and enrollment management. Our team likes the customization of reports and vastness of data collection the most - it helps us to understand what our families are looking for, what they need in each region, and easy access to shift reports through multiple demographic groups.

Cons

For us, our account does hold a large amount of data and users - so our response times can be quite slow if we're all utilizing at the same time. I don't fault campsite as much as our own programs for that. A previous con would have been the external payment processors, but Campsite has since integrated more into their platform - the ability to be able to see those reports alongside normal campsite reports was wonderful when it was live - we hope it comes back!

### "Best Customer Service Team Around!"

We are overall very happy with and have been for 10 years.

Pros

It is a reliable platform that we have had minimal issues on boarding our customer families onto. It handles many of the trickiest parts of camp registration (medical forms, parent communication, multiple enrollment years) with ease. Working with their support is also a pleasure to walk through any questions or concerns we have. In our experience they have always been incredibly prompt.

Cons

That the modules don't all interface -- specifically, we have a custom activity form that does not help us to popular the program module, which makes for a lot of manual work. It can be cumbersome for first time users, and the admin side notation abilities do not have enough permission levels -- we'd like people to be able to view but not add, or to add but not delete, but its all or nothing. We have to use a separate platform for groups/conference registrations, but would love if they someday could be integrated. The current offerings are not robust enough for our needs.

### "Couldn't Run Our Camp Without Campsite!"

We started using about 5 yrs ago and it was a game changer for our summer day camp. We are easily able to track, communicate with and capture data for all of our campers, camp families and staff, which we were not able to do before. The transportation & attendance modules have cut my work on those areas in half and I can't imagine going through the process without it. I love that they are rolling out more mobile-friendly interfaces, as we are quickly moving our leadership team to mobile devices while out on camp. This is the first year we are using the Medical module, and so far we were able to change most of our process from paper forms to electronic, which is a real time-saver. Last, but not least, the people that work in their customer help desk are AWESOME. Always just a phone call or email away with a very rapid response time - that's crucial for me when camp season ramps up. We are extremely happy with Campsite, and the constant improvements made by their development team continue to make it better and better. I realize I'm starting to sound like an infomercial, but I swear I'm just a really satisfied customer!

Pros

The ever-evolving interfaces that are mobile-friendly, as well as the very customizable advanced reports. Also like the analytics for emails sent, however I wish I could easy re-send to people that never opened the email.

Cons

I need an attendance feature for staff. I also need better snapshot views of camper enrollment by week/division, as well as overall bus counts by week. There is no simple solution to either of these problems, so I have to resort to downloading advanced reports and creating my own pivot tables in excel. It's ridiculous that I have to do this! The email client is TERRIBLE and very user unfriendly. 90% of my communication with current and prospective families, as well as staff, is done by email BUT the ability to format the email with graphics, styles, etc. is ridiculously difficult and the source code is easily screwed up, which makes the email look extremely unprofessional in the end. It's truly embarrassing that I can't email a more higher quality communication to my customers. Constant Contact is a perfect example of what I should be able to do, but at a bare minimum it should be as friendly as gmail.

Overall experience has been easy to transition into this new platform. When I have trouble finding an area the FAQ and help area have all the answers necessary.

Pros

I like how the platform is easy to navigate through different dashboards from Campers to Staff and then over the Admin and the Conference & Events dashboard. I love that you can adapt most features on the platform to better suit your needs such as custom forms, custom medical questions etc.

Cons

I wish there were more features and customization available under the Medical Dashboard.

We have been using to manage our summer day camps and programs throughout the year since 2016. This program has streamlined our registration process, helped us manage our information effectively and has allowed us to serve our customers much more efficiently and professionally. The CampSite support team has consistently provided prompt and helpful service, and has been very responsive in creating solutions to help us manage our unique programs.

Pros

is a professional and very user-friendly system. The support team has provided top-quality customer service, and has worked alongside our organization to help us set up and manage our programs in the way that works best for us. The program has been very well-developed to address all different facets of managing camp programs, from registration, to collecting payments, to managing information, to communications. I highly recommend this program.

provides summer camps with the latest and greatest web based CRM. Features like text messaging, parent dashboard, phone call scheduling and health center management are invaluable.

No conditional logic on forms and we’d like a way to enroll campers even if their record already exists.

### "Excellent Camp Administration Software!"

Overall we have found the staff to be very responsive and informative. Many are camp professionals which reflects in the product. Our families enjoy the convenience and simplicity of the software. Our staff find it easy to use, and I find it easy to administer.

Pros

The cloud-based platform is ideal for our use (multiple users in multiple locations). There are many features that streamline the enrollment process for our campers, hiring process for our staff, and administration of the camp here in the office. The customer service is excellent.

Cons

We are a very specialized program, so there are some features that do not fit our program, and other features we require that does not (yet?) have the capacity for. Additionally I would like the capacity to build more intuitive forms (conditional logic).

It is a better, more economical, fit for our program.

### "Campsite is our savior "

We demo'd several different programs, and we ultimately decided to go with for a few important reasons. 1. Campsite was clearly a software that was geared towards day camps. Many of the others programs out there are so clearly for overnight camps, and day camps who use them need to adapt. There was no adapting to Campsite. It had all of our needs. Transportation, program, even text message integration, it really had everything we wanted. 2. Campsite was able to beat or match any of the CC processing fees that we were currently paying, while other programs had a number of hidden processing fees that we weren't interested in paying. 3. The support that was provided to us and has continued to be provided to us is absolutely top notch. The entire team is available to us when we need them. 4. There is a strong commitment to change and Campsite is always striving to improve. Things that we mention to the technical team that we want the system to do, end up being implemented as quickly as a month or two later. Overall we are incredibly satisfied with Campsite. We honestly could not run our camp without it.

Overall, is a very effective program for our camp needs.

Pros

Ease of use. Being able to produce Advanced Reports with filters for our needs.

Cons

We are unable to add extra categories necessary for our medication delivery reports. For example, Bunk name. This caused extra work when simple added features would eliminate it. We also can’t print full page medical logs if a camper needed to see someone outside of camp. We had to copy & paste the information into google docs in order to print all necessary information to pass along from our medical providers to the outside camp ones. Also creating more unnecessary work on our end.

Pros

The software was created by people who understand residential camping and the software is very compatible with most camp programs. It is VERY easy to customize the program to fit you.

Cons

There are minor flaws in some of the features that aren't always conducive to medical based residential camping but they are easy to overcome.

Keeps us very organized, on point and manages the necessary data we track daily. Customer service is very knowledgeable and software continues to undergo updates and changes based on the changing market and needs of it's customers!

Pros

was written by a "Camp person" who understand our industry and was able to meet our needs based on true knowledge of how camp programs run day to do, season to season.

Cons

Took some time to learn how to run reports, but that was to be expected.
