Pros

Last year, we incorporated the Virtual Sales Portal into our product line and it revitalized our sales. Our company markets high end online executive career portfolios which our clients use in career and business networking. Adding the virtual sales portal into our portfolios brought a whole new dimension to our product line and enabled us to position our company as a premier supplier of virtual interviewing solutions. This opened new doors for us and enabled us to land major new account business.

The product is easy to understand and use. It provides instant desktop video broadcasting of our executive candidates to hiring managers and networking contacts. The person viewing the broadcast does not need to download anything, it comes up instantly. Candidates can also share their desktops and give live presentations. Everything appears under the candidate's own name, adding value to their brand.

The software platform is very solid and performs reliably and dependably.

Cons

The product does not work on the iphone, and it will be next year before it works on the Android or the Blackberry.

The company has good customer support but there is room for improvement. They only provide conventional text help online and do not have any video tutorials yet. (Evidently planned for the next release.) Live help is also only available during business hours (East coast), not 24/7.

Overall

This product is excellent for companies who want to deploy the latest Sales 2.0 technologies to improve productivity.

It is very useful in early stage calls with prospects, where person-to-person selling can be enhanced with instant live desktop video broadcasting.

It also can add efficiencies throughout the sales cycle in presentations and proposals, engaging the prospect's attention more effectively and improving control and follow through.

Pros

The key differentiator of this product from the competition is the easy way it connects with a meeting participant. The one click connection without need for downloads or joining a network is a real plus..

Cons

Requires Adobe Flash wihich won't run on 64 bit machines. However Windows 7 is now packaged with a 32 bit version of Internet Explorer.

Overall

This is an exceedingly useful tool with great potential for face-to-face sales, coaching, or small meeting or training situations. Anyone looking for a simple direct way to connect using the web for IP or visual contact with individuals or small groups should sample this product.
