Wiki Plus, KWizCom Corporation’s SharePoint solution that rockets the Microsoft powerhouse tool into the Web 2.0 era is being shown at the San Francisco Enterprise Web 2.0 conference taking place this week. Amdocs Corporation will be there to report on how they are utilizing the KWizCom solution.
(PRWEB) November 3, 2009 -- KWizCom Corporation, a world renowned developer/implementer of add-ons for Microsoft SharePoint, Project Server and Dynamics CRM is debuting their popular collaboration solution “Wiki Plus v1.3.00” at the Enterprise Web 2.0 conference taking place in San Francisco this week.
“This is the first time we’ve shown at a venue dedicated entirely to web 2.0,” says Nimrod Geva, KWizCom’s Director of Sales & Product Management. “On the other hand this is a natural venue for us. All KWizCom products are about improving corporate productivity and enhancing revenue. We add web 2.0 style usability and particularly collaboration to existing corporate knowledge management systems. This helps businesses achieve their goals in a more effective, efficient manner, in less time and with minimum costs.”
Microsoft SharePoint, Project Server and Dynamics CRM are some of the most widely accepted knowledge management tools in today’s corporate market. However it is common that after implementation users discover, to their dismay, that capabilities they became familiarized with via social networking systems, websites and forums they visit etc, do not exist in the out of the box tool.
“That is where we step in,” says Nimrod Geva. “You might say that KWizCom creates add-ons that bring Microsoft SharePoint, Project Server and Dynamics CRM in the web 2.0 era. Wiki Plus is our premier web 2.0 solution. It is the only true wiki solution for SharePoint and together with SharePoint creates the best Enterprise Knowledge Management system that exists.”
Wiki Plus was first released in June 2008 and KWizCom has been continuously working on and developing improvements for the solution. Visitors to KWizCom’s E2 conference booth (number 624) will be able to look and at play with the latest release Wiki Plus v1.3.00. Long-time SharePoint users love Wiki Plus and will find the new version even more exciting. The ability to copy and easily paste rich content (including images, tables and styles) directly from MS Word or copy and paste images from the clipboard, for example, will make knowledge sharing easier and promote a richer collaborative experience. Other features such as patrolled wiki pages are important for management who want to enable sharing and collaboration but at the same time need to ensure preservation of corporate congruency and integrity.
Possibly the most interesting part of KWizCom’s participation in the Enterprise Web 2.0 conference is that is not KWizCom who will be speaking about the benefits of their product but rather a client - the global corporation Amdocs has sent one of their own knowledge architects to participate in the conference and tell attendees how Amdocs utilized Wiki Plus to create AmdocsPedia a cross-corporate knowledge pool. “This is one of those rare cases where you can ‘take it straight from the horse’s mouth,’” says Nimrod Geva. “You don’t have to listen to what we see about our product. Listen to one of our many customers and learn how they are benefitting. The facts speak for themselves. “
The AmdocsPedia/KWizCom session will take place on Tuesday at 10:15 and KWizCom representatives will be at the KWizCom booth throughout the conference. Both locations will be of interest to attendees, SharePointers and potential Partners who can benefit by working with the innovative company.
KWizCom’s Nimrod Geva adds, “This conference is going to be interesting but it will be lots of fun too. We’ve planned netbook and iPod lottery giveaways. Everyone who stops on by should have a great time!”
